Poor customer service and un-accommodating printing/copying facilities. The system in place for individuals to print from the computer is a racket, set up to take as much money from the customer as possible. The wifi in the building is so poor it keeps the process dragging and slow. Everything you do on the computer is either frozen or delayed as a result of the wifi, while the meter to use the computer continues running. Asking for help goes no where as none of the employees (which may be one or two if you're lucky) knows what to do for this issue. Then when you finally give up after 3-4 mins, your card has been charged $10 for the aggravation. Nothing printed & No copies...such a scam and a waste!!! Never Again!!! read more

I like having a Staples down the road from me it's very convenient compared to online shopping. Anytime I need printer ink or paper I'm in and out pretty quickly. They have a wide array of office supplies and break room items that are usually very well stocked. Staples offers Printing and Marketing services as well as UPS shipping 7 days a week. Also cell phone and computer repair centers are available here. They have a really nice selection of computers, printers, office furniture, computer accessories and software. Service here is mostly helpful for what is an understaffed store. As I stated I can pick up all my office needs in an actual store and be on my way pretty easily. read more

I have always liked office supply shops. The ability to get inspired to become more organized or pick just the right paper, folder, pen, marker or pencil for a project is fun. This store has lots of parking, seems to be well run (plenty of stock) and the staff is motivated (good managers?) to help. I really like that. Their copier paper specials are frequent and if you get on their mailing list, you can save some serious dollars by buying in volume (paper really doesn't go bad...) Their copy center is a service my wife used for her school projects and the techs who help really do like to help for education projects (cool). I like to shop the back of the store for some sharply discounted discounted clearance items. If you need it, and it's for your office, they probably have it or can get it. This store is right off the highway and the shopping center seminar a bit tired. To print on your own paper you have to email the document to their print specialists and since there is only one it can take a while if they are helping other customers. I understand but I also wish it was a faster system. read more

This review is about printing services. It's long, but the short story is that they messed up the printing on several orders; Succassuna Staples did it correctly. Long version: I printed 40 texts at this Staples, and mailed them out. A few students complained about misprintings (boxes showing up randomly instead of letters); other students complained about misplaced text. (I foolishly took it for granted that the printer would print correctly, so hadn't checked the texts before I sent, my bad.) I took back to Staples and they were accommodating; I asked only for a reprint of those 40, which was very gracious of me, because I was also losing about $200 for having to re-mail the texts. The manager that day, some black dude, was very friendly. Said they'd be ready the next day, apologized, etc. The next night I came in, and they were not ready. I asked if one was ready, so I could check to see if it had errors, and no, not one was ready. Not a super big deal, but not great. The day after I came in, and 10 had been printed, of the 40 that were owed. That was irritating, but it was actually a good thing, because those 10 had similar issues as before, with boxes randomly appearing instead of text, so 40 would have been a bigger waste of paper. I said I wanted a refund, and it took 15 minutes for the manager Patty to come over. While we were waiting for Patty, some other salesperson mentioned that some other customer (not me) a couple of weeks ago had the same issue. So I was flummoxed as to why Staples continues to print without doing some quality checks of their output, given that this is a known issue. She said she could only find the order for 10 books, not the other 30. I had the order on my phone, but she needed the actual receipt. I was like, can you look it up by email? Nope. Can you look it up by phone? Yes. (Then offer to do that in the first place, Patty; this shouldn't be a guessing game from me, especially since the reason the order on the other 30 didn't show up because of some f-up on their end, not mine.) She found it using my phone number and wordlessly processed the return. I actually was pretty proud of myself for remaining calm, but a few minutes after I left, the general manager called me and said that she was very sorry about my experience, and that Patty had told her that I'd left upset, etc. So I guess I wasn't masking my seething that well after all. But the niceness of the first manager and the general manager is the reason I doubled my rating from 1 to 2. I'll never print anything here again though. read more

I LOVE the staff at The Randolph, New Jersey Staples and have found them to be very concerned about me as a customer and to observe their high work ethic. I have watched numerous times how they not only interact with me, but with other customers and it is respectful and engaging. Bill is a fantastic manager and Alicia is fabulous as the Supervisor of the Copy Center. Gina and all of the other team members at the Copy Center and at the registers have gone out of their way to give me excellent service. As a result, I buy many things at Staples and trust them with copying legal documents and teaching materials. I often call the Staples District Manager and also The Staples Corporate Office in Massachusetts to let them know of my satisfaction. The Randolph Store is what every Staples should be like and I thank them for all that they do to build community. Bravo! read more

Great selection of office stuff. I purchased a computer for a gift and the process was pretty painless. The store itself was nice and organized and the staff was willing to help. I was slightly disappointed with the restroom the day I stopped by since it looked like someone blew up all over the toilet and paper was all over the floor. read more

I wish I could give 0 stars for their systems and customer service. I went to purchase something online and I paid online and chose to pick it up in the store. They charged me online and then sent me an email saying that they were preparing the order and that it would be ready in an hour but to still wait for a second email telling me to go pick it up. Four hours go by... NO EMAIL, yet they charged me right away. I called them for an update, THEY WERE OUT OF THE ITEM BUT STILL CHARGED ME! And never contacted me to let me know they were out!! Just went in there to purchase a product, returned back to the office and the item was dead on arrival. Broken parts, cracked screen, and unit didnt work. Box was damaged and crushed but that didnt stop Staples from selling it. Had to drive in traffic only to find out what they shouldnt of sold in the first place was defective, not to mention cracked screen which they should of spotted it immediately, but they sold it. read more

Never have I had a more aggressive clerk. A middle aged, balding man who asked if I have their rewards card. I said "no, I'm not interested at this time" to which he said "that's ok, here fill this out. I'll even give you a pen" and proceeded to push the application in front of me. I was flabbergasted and shocked at his arrogance and asked him "what do you receive when people fill these out. must be something big" to which he replied "yeah, I get to keep my job"...very weird. There was no benefit offered as to why i sould have it, no info.. just "here do it"...in hindsight I shouldn't have filled it out but I was in a rush, didn't want to argue and he shocked me into doing it with his pushy attitude. If this is how the store is run and the company forces the employees to get ppl signed up without training them on customer service etiquette or at the very least effectively explaining the benefits ..then I will shop elsewhere.
