Seems like a scam I went into the store with an appointment to have my phone screen fixed. The representative stated I needed to give him the passcode to my phone and it would be done in 2 hrs. I have had several people tell me before going, I would not need to give my passcode for a simple screen crack fix. I spoke to other screen repair places on the phone, they stated I would not need to give my passcode and there is a maintenance mode that is used during fixes to protect privacy. The representative was insistent the only way he would fix it was with my passcode and to just trust him. I left with my cracked screen because of how odd this was. Why not put my phone in maintenance mode? Why require my passcode where you could scroll through all my financial information, emails, passcodes, photos, convos. Why on earth should I just trust some random guy who refuses to fix a phone on maintenance mode when it is an option and is standard practice. read more

I brought my Apple Watch in to have the battery replaced last month. they promised it in 2-5 days. I called the and no one ever returned my calls. I finally went into the store and they told me that they had broken the watch trying to replace the battery. They said they had ordered a replacement. They cannot give me any information as to when I will receive the watch. Again, phone calls are never returned, and there's always always a new excuse - " I have to text my manager," " my manager, never texted me back," call my manager," " my manager never called me back," " we ordered the watch, but I can't track the delivery" " there was a miscommunication with the supplier." in the meantime, I am without the heart monitor on the watch which my cardiologist recommended I have. I would stay as far away from this business as I possibly could. Not only are they incompetent but their customer service is some of the worst I have ever experienced. I wish I had seen the negative yelp reviews before I walked to their door read more

DON'T DO IT. Brought in Microsoft surface pro for potential battery issue. Was told it would take 1 to 2 weeks to check and repair. It took 3 weeks. Was told to bring it with the stylus so they could check that for battery drain. Stylus was not returned. Communication through the entire process was painful. I had to call multiple times and even get an advocate involved. Didn't help much. Replaced battery with generic so I get error messages from the laptop. Out almost $400 by time I had to replace the stylus, didn't have the laptop for 3 weeks and now I have a whole 15 minutes extra battery life. Extremely disappointing. read more

Tl/Dr; Took my Pixel 6 Pro in for a warranty repair of a defective screen. Received phone back with the same defect, shattered glass, and a broken fingerprint sensor. I have a Pixel 6 Pro that has some dead pixels on the screen. After contacting Google about the issue, they gave me the option of taking it into an authorized repair center to get fixed. Something to note: my phone was repaired a few months ago at the same shop. This was another warranty repair (green tint on screen). The dead pixel issue is a known issue of this phone, however, so there's no telling if the first repair job caused it. I was told the repair would be 2 hours and I would be contacted via email. I was never updated on the status of my repair, so I decided to go back in on my own. When I came back 3+ hours later, I was told that the only replacement screen they had was broken and they couldn't repair the device. He made it sound like my phone had been sitting there for 3 hours. This annoyed me. If they didn't have the parts in stock, they should have contacted me. I asked for my phone back and expressed that I was annoyed that they wasted my time for nothing. I waited about 10-15 minutes for him to return my phone to me. After he handed it back, he casually commented that the bottom right hand corner of the screen was shattered. Apparently, they had removed and replaced the original screen. He did not make it clear as to whether or not he stripped the phone before checking to see if he had the materials in stock to make a repair, or if the new screen broke during the installation process and the old one was in slightly better condition. Either way, my phone was returned to me in worse condition than I brought it in. The dead pixel issue was not resolved, the glass was shattered, and the fingerprint sensor doesn't work. There was zero apology or offer for compensation. I should have been contacted immediately when they saw that the device couldn't be fixed and was damaged in the process. Instead, he handed me a shattered phone screen like it was no big deal. Fortunately, the phone is functional other than the broken fingerprint scanner (which is still a major inconvenience), but now I have to live with a broken phone until I can block off another afternoon to get it fixed again. read more

uBreakiFix by Asurion - Shattered phone screen and dead pixels after my phone spent 3.5 hours being "repaired" - Electronics Repair Near Me - Rockaway, New Jersey

See all

I went here trying to get my iPhone 14 pro repaired after calling Asurion. After they took a look at my phone they deemed that it could not be repaired, no problem i understand ill just use the insurance to have it replaced. I'm trying to explain to them how I'm unsure how to log out of my iCloud account if i cant access my phone for 2-factor authentication, and one of their repair techs, whose name i did not get, looked me in the face and said "Well what do you want us to do about it?". Well, you are the insurance repair shop and I'm sure you deal with this on a regular basis, i just wanted guidance on how to proceed. I was very kind to these people and was rather taken aback at the rude comment and lack of business acumen from a repair technician who really should be there to give you help. I don't believe he cares about his job at all, or at least did not make me feel like he did, which is sad. There was a girl behind the counter, however, that was extremely helpful and kind throughout the process. Thanks to her i was able to get my new phone on the way to my house promptly. read more

First of all I would like to apologize to the guys that helped me more that a month ago for not writing a review right away. They did such a great job on top of being very nice and patient that I had to write this even though it was awhile ago. I bought, more than a year ago, a small Samsung Galaxy notepad. It worked fine for what I needed. 2 months ago the "floating keyboard" was coming up constantly and I couldn't use the hard keyboard, as time went by it got worse and I was really frustrated and becoming angry. Went on internet to find out that I wasn't the only one having this issue and thought I would most likely have to buy a new note pad. Don't have money to throw away. First I tried Samsung and they really didn't help. They did steer me to uBreakiFix located in the Rockaway Mall. I stopped by just as they were opening didn't even say good morning and entered the store stomping angry and exclaimed that I wanted to throw to smash my Galaxy and throw it OUT the window (I work in NYC) and watch a bus drive over it. The fellow was very calm and assured me they will fix it. Both guys were trying to solve this issue and low and behold after about 45mins of trying several options they GOT IT!! they were kind, professional, persistent and knowledgeable and I would tell anyone who was reaching my level of Techno Distress to go to uBreakiFix at Rockaway for a technical "therapy" fix because I walked out smiling and it made my day! read more

DO NOT GO HERE!! Save yourself time and aggravation and choose anywhere else but here. Worst customer service I have ever received. They broke my phone the point it did not work at all and then took 3 weeks to replace it with no urgency. So bad that I wish I spent two times as much money and just went to Apple. read more
