Replaced it, probably did a factory reset and turned around and said I needed a new hard drive. I was mad because the main reason I tried to get the laptop fixed was to regain access to my files. They lost them all I gave them permission to replace the hard drive. Picked up the computer and it wouldn't charge. When I took it back, they said I needed a new port. They replaced the port and then came back and said, it wasn't the port, it was probably the battery (one that they claim to have replaced). They swapped the battery and when that did not work, they said I needed a new motherboard. Like, really! I asked them to keep their battery, harddrive and port and give me my $330 that i had already paid for the battery and harddrive back. And i made it clear i wasn't going to pay for the port or let them replace the motherboard. I wasn't ready to give them another chance to screw up. They refused to give me any money back claiming that time to return the battery had expired. I asked them to look at the history. I never used that computer at all after the repaired it. I just turned it on and when i noticed that the battery was drained and it wouldn't charge, i turned it off. I have never sued anyone in my life but i am going to sue them. My PC stopped working, and Micro Center diagnosed it as a bad motherboard. I bought a new motherboard from them and had Computer Doctor install it. When the PC still didn't work, Computer Doctor correctly analyzed that the processor was actually the issue. Since Micro Center offered free follow-up diagnostics, I took the PC back to them. Incredibly, they completely missed the processor issue again, doubled down on their original mistake, and claimed this brand-new second motherboard was also defective! They argued with me the entire time and dismissed my suspicion about the CPU. I rejected Micro Center's diagnosis, took my computer back, and bought a new processor elsewhere. Computer Doctor went above and beyond--they tested the processors multiple times for me and even installed the new CPU for free. Sure enough, it was the processor all along. I still have the original motherboard, and I am confident it was never the problem in the first place. Micro Center completely failed me, but Computer Doctor earned a customer for life. Bottom line: go to Computer Doctor first!

The first time I visited was for a screen "screaming" on my macbook Air. They fixed it affordably. Another time it was for my speakers on my macbook Pro - all my devices are years old, not new, and they brought them waaay up to speed AND provide the CC Cleaner on my MB Pro, which I used to clean up the drive regularly (and just paid to have it clean my laptop annually for 44$). I used it for almost a year w/o payment so I'm a happy camper all around. In fact, I'm going there today bc I may have had water damage on my Pro screen so I pray it can be corrected w/o too much expense.
