I haven't spent much time at a staples. The occasional pop in for something here and there. More likely once or twice a year or even a few years. I needed to pick up some filing folders. Well, I didn't know if it's a thing now or it's just this location but they had party city inside it. It's a small little section with mainly balloons and some party supplies. It's somewhat a good concept...lol... Work supplies and party supplies all together. The store itself is decent in size. Massive parking lot with the strip mall. But the whole layout of the place is a bit different. They have pretty much everything we needed and then some. It's like one isle I'll pick up some pens and paper, the next is a printer and then there's cleaning supplies and laundry detergent. A mosh posh of everything. Another one stop shop. Then you have some things that looks like it's been there since the store opened. Old furniture that they're selling. And equipment that seen better days. Loads of the boxes were pretty dusty without even touching them. You could see it. Clearly when walking by. I mean, they have what I needed which is great. It's not a place I would come on the regular but it does work. Staff were all pretty friendly. read more

They had the supplies for which i was looking. Not so friendly service . When checking out the sales person talked on the phone the whole time no smile no not no acknowledgment other than to ring it up. I could've easily waited till they were finished with the phone call-sounded like they were talking to a coworker or a friend... Things are expensive. The value is what it is. read more

I placed a pickup order online. The store responded promptly and had my item ready for pickup very quickly. That part was great. I arrived at the store with three tasks to accomplish: 1) An Amazon return 2) Pickup my order 3) Recycle some ink cartridges When I arrived I looked for the UPS counter. On that counter was taped a message saying go to text services. When I got to tech services, there was no one at the counter and a line of five people waiting for services only one did Amazon returns. There was no one at that station. We all waited long enough that at least one person gave up and left. Finally, a person came over from the checkout area and started handling things as quickly as he could. When I reached the desk I told him that I had these three tasks to accomplish and he very efficiently handled all three. The reason for my less than wonderful review is not the fault of the clerk, who did his job as effectively as he possibly could, but of store management that understaffs their checkout and tech services area while people are standing around in the print services area. Bad management. read more

I'm giving a bad review solely for one staff and that hector in print and label . As a valued customer I expect good service and today I have not reviewed that ... staples if you can't handle the ups packaging then just get rid of the contract there's no reason I can't bring a package there to be dropped off when those services are offered. It's ridiculous that I have to waist more time because hector is under a little work stress and don't wanna deal with it all other employees have been amazing. Kill the attitude dude or go find another job cause I know for sure that's not how staples trained you read more

Had the most excellent service today at the Palm Springs location on Ramon Rd from Ryan. He was fielding other customers deftly, then helped me find a very specific item I needed amongst a sea of options. He even helped me find a better version of what I needed. He was pleasant and kind, and even watched my purchase when I needed to run to the back briefly. Super knowledgable gent & exceptional customer service! A real boon to Staples! I'm not far still it was worth the 30 mins or so to drive there. I will always think of that store first when I have more office needs. Thanks, Ryan & Staples!! read more

Matteo was hugely helpful! He made my business cards in no time and got me on my way and in business and onto profits! Great job, Kid! ALSO, visited today & JAYELLE helped me out so much with scanning a document. I had no idea what I was doing but he guided me through the process with ease! THANKS, JAYELLE! read more

Staples - Storefront - Shipping Centers Near Me - Palm Springs, California

Horrible customer service with the guy in the print department. Tried to get his advice re a file I wanted to print. what size, what paper, etc? No help whatsoever, and the attitude was sarcastic and belittling, like I was imposing on his time. I could tell this was going to continue to be unpleasant, so I said, give me the file back. He said sarcastically 'whatever', 'have a real nice day'. Knowing that he was being nasty, I swore at him while I was walking out. He said' excuse me, what did you say. I told him I didn't have the time to waste on him. He called me a 'coward' as I walked out the door. This is a first for me, I have been there many times in the past, and the people were gracious, courteous, and willing to help. This is my last time at Staples. read more

Jeanette is a ROCKSTAR!! She gave us excellent customer service. She showed us ways to save money getting what we needed. Jeanette went above and beyond to help us and showing how to get points. We will be shopping at this Staples again. Thank you Jeanette! read more

The print staff are heroic, but the sneaky "Express Guarantee Fee" is anything but. It's an unposted "rush charge" that's never explained, yet it constantly slips onto my bill. Today, I picked up an order--after yet another missed notification--only to find the fee added without a word. I shouldn't have to fight for a refund every visit. Whether it's corporate sloppiness or a calculated cash grab, it's just another annoying attempt to fleece customers. read more

Need to better customer service. I understand everyone should figure their devices like phones but dont say to figure it out because that you dont do. Its the printing part. And also when a question is asked dont say im busy right now with an attitude. So just work on your customer service . I use to always go to staples nice people not sure what happened. I won't ever return and im sure they don't care read more

As an independent professional, it's not always easy to find a individual that truly understands my needs and treats my project with care--but Jasmine at Staple absolutely delivered. She is incredibly helpful and patient throughout the process, offering great advice and making sure every detail was right. Thanks Jasmine from the print shop 7/23/2025 @ 915am read more

I went to get a print made of our beloved doggie who recently passed away. Jensen was her name, rude is her game. I mean rude! Zero customer service and ignored me while I patiently waited for her to do something else after she put a piece of paper in my hand and said this is how you do it. She then turned around and helped someone else while I was waving my hand in the air trying to get her attention. Nothing nice about her at all. The personality of a toad. If you are gonna be in customer service then you better be nice and helpful to your customers. It was only 9:30 am but it was also a Monday, must have been a crappy weekend for her. Reading other yelp reviews this is her normal behavior... Shame on you Staples for not doing something about her bad behavior. read more

The staff at the registers was nice but beware of the redhead working in the printing department. Do not ask her for help unless you want to be belittled and feel like you the scum on someone's shoes. Crystal in the print shop has been really helpful for me, as I was having trouble scanning some multiple page pieces of music. She was pleasant, and readily solved my problem for me. When I had trouble a couple of times with the scans not turning out well doing it myself, when I came back the third time and explained the trouble I was having, she did it for me without charge. Due to how she handled things with me, I will continue to go back. Thanks so much. read more

Would I recommend this place? Probably not. I was having an issuew ith a printer, came in to see what they had. The service was not as good as I thought it was going to be. I feel the guy was extremely mean, maybe my appearance. Not sure. The value of their printers were very expensive, but that wasn't the point. The point was the customer service could have been a lot better. read more

It was about 8:45pm ish when we went inside so nobody was really there. The staff looked really tired and I get it. But hey, at least they were nice! We were there to buy a usb drive and when we went to that section, all of the usbs were in plastic protective boxes that were all badly scratched up. But that wasn't even really the bad part. I had to use the bathroom so I asked for the bathroom code. They gave the code to me and I went over to the bathroom. I had to type the code in about 5 times before it actually registered into the men's restroom door. When it finally worked, I walked into the bathroom and everything looked really gross. Everything had something engraved in it, there was dirt everywhere, and the sink levers were broken. BATHROOMS ARE IMPORTANT!!! KEEP THEM CLEAN PLEASE!!!!! I then realized that I left my phone in the car so I couldn't take pictures. Dang it. Everything else in the store was relatively fine. read more

I came on December 21 to pick up a print order and the person at the counter didn't care to help me at all she just told me to use the self service printers and when I was unable to use it. Ok, sooo tired of a "rush" fee for printing on very small jobs to have to done while you wait when the store is dead, and you walk around and shop for other things.... I got 3 things printed, 5 pages each (so 15 color copies), and then I spend over $100.00 in the store. It took them much less time to print than it took for me to shop. BUT $11.00 RUSH fee not to come back tomorrow... Office depot does not charge a rush fee, and for small jobs will just work you in. Ive never waited very long. Staples, what's up? I can see if I was truly in a rush (you were busy and I had to have them), but your store was dead, and you blackmailed me to either come back in the morning (when you could easily do them now), or pay $11.00, which WAS MORE THAN MY PRINTING!!! And when I spend an additional $100.00, why not wave the fea?!?! I will know to drive the extra 4 miles to offices depot from now on! read more

Although service within the store was helpful, at the register.......not so much. We left feeling the cashier was " put upon" by a couple of our questions. Underwhelmed. Expensive and slow. Printing had no line but I had to wait an hour for a print that the click of a button could resolve. To get it within an hour I got to pay a lot more. Office Depot who is closing is a far better option while open. Footnote: bought a laser printer at Best Buy to avoid having to come here. It is that underwhelming and pricey. read more

Okay so my previous review was a two-star and today they've managed to bump it down to one. don't bother coming here for Inc because they keep it locked up in fort Knox and you have to wait for them to send for someone to get it out of hock. NEVER USE THEIR CRAPPY LOYALTY PROGRAM. Three different Staples employees deceived me. I bought $65 in supplies and the cashier said if I sign up for their Rewards program, and give them my email and phone #, I get $20 off my next purchase. I did that. Then she told me to get the $20 I had to download their app. I spoke to two other employees, one of whom said maybe you could do this on their website as well. I went home and did both: downloaded the app and registered on their website. After I did both there was no $20 credit. So I called the store and someone named Ryan said I would only get the $20 credit if I had downloaded the app while I was at the store. He offered to "help" me by giving me a customer service number, I'm guessing so I could get more runaround and lies and confusion. So I got three different and confusing explanations, none of which may be true. I think these employees are trained to harvest personal information by deceiving people about bogus $20 rewards. DO NOT BELIEVE THEIR LIES. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THEIR CRAPPY AND INVASIVE REWARDS PROGRAM TO HARVEST YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION. read more

Your basic everyday Staples store. Unfortunately as we were waiting in line, the check out employee was texting! At first I thought we were waiting because she was helping a customer with her phone, but nope! Texting. Once it was our turn to check out, she couldn't even get though our transaction before she had to text again. Maybe it was a family emergency? But there was another employee standing near her, who could have helped if she really had an emergency. Really seemed like she just had better things to do. Seems like the biggest problem the store has is its staff. ETA: Staples did reach out to me to get an account of my experience and I appreciate that. read more

I came to staples to print my invitations, the first gentleman who attempted to help me was very inviting, friendly, helpful said my invites could be done in 10/15 minutes. However when he asked another tech how to ring me up, he came up with some bogus charge, $10 for "design fee" to put two of my invites on one page! My invite was already designed, just needed to click the "two per page" for the printer settings. Then he told me that it would take over an hour, there was no line, the first employee said 10/15 minutes! Then I grabbed my paper and said Never-mind. The customer service in this department needs to change, obviously we're going to staples because we have a need. Never going back there, I'll take my business elsewhere! read more

Worst place in the Valley to have large format printing done! I have wasted countless hours while attempting to have 24" x 36" blueprints done here. After several hours waiting on one occasion I left the store with 11" x 17" prints for 13 cents and was told that it was the best that they could do! The staff is poorly trained and Staples now charges a fee for "express" print services, which amounts to $1.00 extra per page. An employee gleefully told me that I should come back 24 hours later if I wanted to avoid the extra charge! There are lots of options for printing in the Valley...after shopping for 15 years in this location I will never set foot in the store again! read more

I couldn't locate the corporate number so I will leave a comment here. Terrible customer service. I use this location for all my office needs but I refuse to use it any longer. I came in to print and send items back via UPS and an unwelcoming male behind the service counter said out loud "The self service is not working. There is a UPS down the street" very rude and unprofessional. All eyes were on me and there were several people in line. When I asked a different worker in line as to why the service is down often the reply was "I've only been here 6 days. I am not the person to ask". Besides the lack of customer service and this "self service" appears to be out of service often. I've come by three times the last few months and this is always the excuse. Also, they only accept certain UPS labels to be sent out. What a huge inconvenience and a waste of time driving out here. Stop advertising a service if you can't deliver! In a world of big box office supply, staples doesn't offer much to inspire customer loyalty. High prices and when you do earn a customer loyalty reward certificate they come with exclusions that make them useless. Printer ink is excluded as an example. The one thing everyone actually needs. They lost me on that one. I'm moving on to other stores that offer me a reason to not just shop on the internet. On the positive side the staff tries hard but has to work under the cloud of bad corporate decisions. read more
