Dropped my phone in Palms Springs and the screen shattered. Found iFix online. Person was working from his home. Was a bit skeptical did it anyways. Was told 30 minutes. Took over a hour. Sucked to wait outside in a car. Got my phone finally everything looked ok. A day or so later the screen was lifting and coming apart from the phone. What's worse because of that I set my phone down on a table rather hard and cracked the screen again and I have drop my phone a hundreds of time harder. It may have been because the screen came loose. Took my phone to a local phone place I know. Took the guy 10 minutes and he said whoever did it last did a poor job. I don't recommend. read more

Wow! Jason is awesome!! My husband's iphone screen cracked and I decided to buy one myself and repair it. That was a BIG mistake. It was worse after I tried to repair it! Well I looked online and called Jason and he came to our rescue within 2 hours. He met us at a local deli while we had breakfast and it took him less than 45 minutes to fix it!! He said that if I had the part delivered to his house on a Sunday of a holiday weekend, he would repair the phone while my husband and I are in L.A. Jason is the man!!! He was fast professional and reasonably priced. Better than any kiosk at the mall hands down. He fixed my broken shattered screen in 30 minutes. He charged me almost 100$ less than I would have had to pay to replace my phone and have to send it in to the insurance to start a claim. It's with great disappointment that I'm left to write this poor review. Having a cracked iphone screen is never fun for anyone and even worse is the thought of having to shell out another $700.00 for a new one. I called this place as it was the closest to me in Palm Springs and received a pleasant response asking me to either bring in my phone or have it picked up. I brought it to them in the morning on my way to work hoping it would only take the hour to fix that they told me it would. After 45 minutes of tinkering with the phone and trying a few different screens they had in stock I had to leave it with them and go to work. I was promised the phone by the end of the work day so I had to just have faith that everything would be fine. Upon receipt of the phone at about 3 pm it was apparent even to me that the screen wasn't seated properly on the phone as the top corner didn't even match the bottom. After a brief discussion he took the phone and said he'd bring it back in a while. About 2 hours later I received the phone and was told he couldn't fix it. Having seen the disappointment on my face he told me to take it to Apple and they would replace it for not working. After paying them the $100.00 and knowing I had to go to Apple I was pretty bummed out. Apple took the phone and went into the back of the store and after 45 minutes came out and told me all the insides of the phone were loose, the camera was floating around inside, and screws were missing. I had no choice now but to buy a new phone. Don't believe anyone when they tell you Apple will replace your phone. They all have the technology to do the tests in the store and can leave you in an embarrassing situation. My biggest problem was I had been communicating with the owner of this company who was very concerned that I was pleased with their work and asked me to let him know what happened after my trip to Apple. There was no follow up call to me from either of them at this company, no apology for not putting the phone back together properly or anything. I was basically just duped for the $100.00. Most recently I was in the Westfield Mall and had the old phone in the car with me. With nothing to lose I went to Bumblee Wireless in the mall and not only did they look inside to see the mess that was left but they actually fixed it in less than an hour. If only I had gone there first. The only point is they charged me, didn't do the job that someone else could easily do, and left me hanging at the end. read more

I didn't think customer service this stellar existed anywhere anymore. I can't say enough about James and the incredible experience I had with him after dropping and shattering my nearly new iphone. He had to order a hard-to-find part and picked up and dropped off the phone to my office for each of the 2 days he worked on it while waiting for the part - he contacted me to see how it was working in the meantime, and once the part came in and it was perfect again, he delivered it to me at my dentist appointment! He even left his own phone with me with our SIM cards switched out so I could still get calls while he had mine! Who does that??? If you ever drop your phone or break it in any way, don't bother with your service provider. Call James. I've really never been so impressed with service, ever. And thanks to Panda, too! read more

Found Jason doing some basic Googling for screen repairs in the Palm Springs area. He got back to me quickly, setup a time to meet and quoted a reasonable price (and even honored a wonky discount coupon I found online). Next day, dropped the phone off and 45 minutes later it was fixed good as new. A month later screen is working without any issues. Jason was incredibly helpful! My daughter dropped and shattered her phone while we were vacationing in Palm Springs... Jason returned my call within an hour and arranged for me to bring him the phone first thing the next morning. We dropped off the phone and when he realized it would take him a bit longer than he had thought (my daughter damaged the phone more than we originally noticed) he offered to drive it to us when he was done. Had Jason asked I'd most certainly told him, the screen had been replaced twice prior. Once by Bumble Bee, once by Mark. I took the phone Jason states was working and connected, to the AT&T store on Ramon immediately after picking up from him, he stated 'the phone is working fine'........It couldn't have been connected to a carrier, it had been in my desk drawer for 6 months with no service. AT&T put a new SIM card in and the phone wouldn't connect to the network properly, popping in and out of service. At this point both AT&T reps said 'who worked on this phone last?' Even the screws that hold the phone together were in wrong, partially sticking out, I told them Jason.........They told me they recommend only one person 'Mark' who turned out to be the last person to replace the glass, but I couldn't find his phone number. Yesterday, after having no phone for two days I got in touch with Mark, even though it was Easter Sunday he said bring the phone over and I'll have a look. He opened the phone and found the biggest problem, the wire that is the antenna was completely disconnected, the phone was missing the ear speaker, the vibrator was missing, and he noticed Jason had also cracked the bezel. Mark replaced all the missing parts, corrected the antenna, replaced the bezel, speaker and put back together with screws properly installed.........all for a very reasonable fee......all taking less than 30 minutes! Again I say, if you need screen repair on an Iphone, get true accountability by calling AT&T on ramon, ask who they recommend........they will give you Mark's number......he's all pro! Mike read more
