It is staples. Nothing more nothing less. What I thought it should be. Not a fan of everything being self serve.

I work from home and have a pretty solid setup so I obviously need office supplies on a regular basis. Ordering off Amazon isn't going to cut it when I randomly run out of yellow ink on a Tuesday and that is exactly what makes this Staples my saving grace from time to time. The Lennox Shopping Center can definitely be a bit of a cluster but once you park your car out front and get in the doors, it all disappears. This giant box store is always clean, organized, and peaceful. The light music and sound of Xerox machines are a sort of white notice that magically helps me find whatever I need pretty quickly. That and their staff who tends to always show up at the perfect time, happy to point you in the right direction. I usually run in for ink and paper and I haven't needed to use their printing services personally, but they seem to always be busy with orders. I have received the final product of their printing services (fliers, coupons, etc.) and they always look great, so I wouldn't hesitate to use them if need be. While I'm a simple customer of Staples, I can happily give them high fives all around. I'll surely continue to swing by when my little home office is in need of a restock. read more

Went in looking for some colored pencils for highlighting but couldn't find what I was looking for. I was in the store for quite some time and could find anyone to help me. The store was practically empty. I left without what I was needing. Disappointed. read more

This is a nice large space organized with the usual office and school supplies you'd expect from a Staples. It was easy to locate the sections from the clear signage, and there is a good selection of items. It's very handy if you are in the area and need an ink refill or a very specific size/color/shape project board or notebook. There is plentiful parking available in the shopping center lot out front. read more

I hate shopping at this Staples. It seems like they are always having some shit happening. This is the one with the worst customer service. It's not surprising because of the college students who don't care. Without this store there wouldn't be another office store around with as much selection so that's why it's still there. I had to wait about 20 minutes in line, and there was hardly any other customers in there. It's understandable if they were busy. Was not busy there at all. Also took forever to find a useful employee. They are too busy looking at each other's phones and talking about the weekend. Shit like this happens when you hire only idiot college students. The employees are in no hurry to help. They are dishonest about their sales. It said there was a sale on ink that week but it was only for this one brand which sucks. There's not any employee there who can answer questions. I would not go to this Staples. This was the last visit. Will try for better service at another store. read more

They will price-match their own site so it can be well worth the time to see if the item you want is listed at a lower price. It's a typical office supply store - staff is friendly and they have a pretty good selection of things. It's a smaller store. Easy to get in and out of -- next to a target, Old Navy, Barnes & Noble and some restaurants. If you sign up for emails they always send you coupons. They have a printer ink recycling program, which is a plus. There about the same price as everyone else. Haven't had a problem they weren't able to take care of with customer service. read more

We came for our TSA Pre-Check appointment and the woman at print and marketing was beyond rude. We are not from the area and simply asked if she could point us in the right area for TSA. She was the only employee at the front of the store, and instead of simply instructing us where to go, she rudely took us back to the front door and told us we need to pay attention as there were signs on the floor pointing us in the right direction. I know times are tough and companies are struggling to find employees, but there was no need to yell at customers asking for assistance. read more

TSA pre-check is very efficient at this store. Definitely make an appointment and come prepared with necessary documents and payment - then you are ready for your interview. Be patient as the questions might seem redundant yet the employee is doing her job. The woman that held my interview today is extremely professional and organized. Highly recommend. read more

Ordered to print off some business cards there. I called to see I it was ready to pick up - when I arrived they had issues finding my order - I was in there for 15 minutes or so. Once the manger came she was very friendly and realized I was in a time crunch. She was able to find my cards. They looked a little faded but it was a good deal on them and I needed them the next day for a event. read more

I have been to this Staples three times within the last week, and every employee that I have encountered has been SUPER friendly, and SUPER helpful. I needed a large amount of items printed and it's been done with exceptional customer service. I want to talk about my trip today. I was having issues saving files on my USB drive. I called and spoke with Kyle, explained my dilemma, and he told me to come in. When I walked in the door he knew who I was, and I pulled out my laptop and he worked on it. He saved my file on the USB, and took it a step further to ensure they were in fact saved, and ready for print. Once he confirmed, he began the printing process. I greatly appreciate the FANTASTIC service that has been given to me by every employee I met here this week. I will continue to be a frequent buyer at this store because of that. read more

I think as far as computers go, you're probably better off at Micro Center, but Staples is not without its redeeming qualities. They have good desks and for very reasonable prices. That's probably one of the main things I like to check out here. Those and the five dollar computer puzzle games. There are definitely good deals to be had on blank DVDs and other media. As for SD cards or Micro SD cards, again, go to Micro Center. Staples print shops are pretty great too, lots of options and good rates. It's a good place to buy paper, but don't tell Michael Scott or Dwight Schrute I said that. The hours here are a bit sucky, for my taste. Hey! I get strange urges late at night, okay? Oh, and for whatever reason, the office superstore is also a great place to pick up some candy or a soda. read more

I. Love. Office supplies. Keep me away from this place. Otherwise I'll be broke. I've only been a few times, but all of my experiences have been positive. The most recent time, I had some pictures printed and they were courteous and speedy processing my order. It helps that my USB stick had a folder that read, "Print these pictures." The store is clean and organized, with really nice displays - especially on the aisle endcaps. This is a well-managed location. While my photos were being printed, I grabbed a few items I needed, and was able to pay for everything at the photo station, rather than go to the registers and have to wait in line. Customer service goes a long way to gaining repeat customers, and I'm definitely one now. Lastly, I like this store's proximity to other things I like - Barnes and Noble, Target, AMC, etc. With some more visits, I may update this review to 5 stars if future experiences are as positive as the past ones. read more

This location is very helpful. Team supervisor Nonnie (week day shift) understands business relations and is willing to work with small business owners in creating company accounts and helping when/if a return is necessary. One of the best things I like about the Olentangy store is their same day business card printing- well same day anything really (most the time it's more affordable than vistaprint even). Another perk is they often have 50% off manager specials on products. Once we were even able to score a "broken table" that was just missing a screw (easy to fix) for 75% off. Customer service was not good. I was trying to take advantage of a special deal (1.00 scissors). HOWEVER, I didn't know there was a limit of one per customer on them...I purchased two scissors. Little did I know I was charged full price for the second pair (5.00). I think that it should be the cashier's responsibility, or at least courtesy, to notify the customer. I will be returning those $5.00 scissors tomorrow!! I've almost never had a good customer experience here. I go because it is conviently located, but only if I don't have to talk with anyone. The staff at the printing area does not know their products or services. I tried to order business cards and letters and they couldn't understand my order. So they called someone over, who knew more. He asked me what I did, and we realized that he serviced one of my competitors. He thought he was making a connection, but was actually giving me proprietary information about what my competitor's orders and even how much they spent. I ended up calling my competitor to tell them to stop going to this Staples, because I wouldn't want that done to me- when if we are marketing to the same people! It was truly unprofessional, and as a small business owner appalling that their staff would do that. read more

We had a print order sent in the week before. When I got there to pick it up they could not find it. The guy at the print counter did everything he could to resolve the issue. He even dropped all that he was doing and re printed our job himself right then. They handled and resolved our issue promptly and professionally. read more

I bought a software from staples. There was no activation code and I didn't save the receipt. They couldn't assist me. I cant return or exchange. :( Lesson learned. Online purchase should be a better way to shop since it is easy to keep the invoice. read more

Awful experience today, Staples. Your trainee was more than awful. She didn't listen to me, and I was so rushed, I could even ask her how the fuck she charged me. 48 dollars later, I have 58 pages of text documents printed. EWH. LAST TIME I EVER EVER USE THEIR COPY CENTER. Best part, the manager tried to calm me down, and say, "It's alright, we're training [her]." WTF. NO BITCH, I'm the customer. I watched this little new employee bumble-bee count my 58 pages 3 times, over the course of 20 minutes. She was very relaxed. & I was late to my meeting. Kinkos is like mint chocolate chip ice cream, and this place is like sucking some guy's balls that you sorta don't even like. read more

Came here to print labels for envelopes and it was a complete disaster. I had prepared the templates to the exact parameters and once they were complete 2 days later, I returned to find that they mixed up the first and last names on the return addresses. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and they said they were sorry and would reprint by tomorrow. I paid $42 for them and returned the following day and they insisted I pay another $30 despite their error. After proving it to them and showing them the correct template that I gave them, they finally gave in. Don't print here!! read more

I was super pleased with the help I received.... until I walked away. I was looking for a 5 Subject B5 notebook. After two employees and I could not find it, one was Allison I believe, the other a tall blonde guy about college aged like me, I told them I would just go search for a different one similar in sizing. Not even 15 seconds later I hear them talking about how they "hate people" regarding my specific request. I was really disheartened to hear them say that all because I needed help finding something, which they couldn't even find with the help of their in store locators. Team leader Nonnie was suspicious and dismissive when I tried to return a defective cable modem. I accidentally left the power cable at home (my fault -- not mad about that), and suddenly I was a crook trying to rip him off. He interrogated me ("why don't you have the box?"), inspected each piece in front of me, left me to sweat for a few minutes, and then only begrudgingly gave me the refund. Horrible service. I went to Staples intending to utilize their copy/print services. As I approached the counter, there was a woman in front of me working with an employee on what appeared to be a large order (banners, flyers, postcards). I was in the sightline of the employee, yet went completely ignored. No "it'll be just a few minutes" or "someone will be with you soon." Not even a smile of acknowledgment. What's worse - there were four (FOUR!) other employees behind the copy/print and they ignored me too! Two were just milling about and two were fussing with some stock in a basket. No offers to drop what they were doing to work with me. With just a little bit of acknowledgment, I would have continued waiting for some help. Instead, I walked out after waiting 10 minutes for service. I took my business to FedEx Office across the street and my order was completed by their smiling staff in about a minute and a half. If you value customer service, avoid this Staples location for copy/print services. read more

bought a brand new laptop at staples, which within a week, showed it wouldn't hold a wi-fi connection. spent the next two weeks troubleshooting connection issues with my ISP, sure it couldn't be the machine itself -- after all, what laptop, sold in 2013, drops the wi-fi connection 5-15 times per HOUR? updated all wifi hardware, with no improvement. moved on to laptop manufacturer (Acer -- don't buy Acer!!!) support, whom i worked with for another week, only to still see no improvement. and when, after a month of troubleshooting, 40 hours easy, i took it back? staples pointed to their 14 day return policy, said they couldn't issue a refund. even though the machine was defective. even though, when they logged in RIGHT THERE, at the counter, it kicked THEM out within TWO minutes. told me that if i'd bought their advanced protection plan, they could have given me a refund. SINCE WHEN DO YOU HAVE TO BUY AN ADVANCED PROTECT PLAN, OVER AND ABOVE THE MACHINE ITSELF, TO TRUST THAT THE COMPUTER YOU BUY WILL ACTUALLY WORK?????? Totally appalled. read more
