I was having trouble putting them in and he personally helped me. The only thing that made me sad is when they went to normal hours and quit doing their long day. Location is great, easy to get to and plenty of parking. Their reception area is large and comfortable and the bathroom is clean. They don't mind you looking at frames while you are waiting. I buy my glasses from them and they are not pushy and explain all the options and costs before you order them so you know what you will pay. They have a selection that is big enough, but not so big you have to take a day off of work to find a pair. They give their opinions when you ask about the different lens options and what they are for.

I have 4 sets of Maui Jim sun glasses, yes I keep a pair for each car truck or boat. I wanted to replace the single lens of the pair I keep in my boat. Well their store policy is to only sell two lens even if the one lens is the same prescription. So, I told them their policy did not make sense. They went to the back room to see what they could do. I took this time to call the Maui Jim. I was told by the LAB at Maui Jim the sun glasses maker they could simple replace single lens in the pair of their glasses as long as the frames where in good shape. The price they gave me 780 dollars for two lens per pair. Keep in mind I only one lens changed.

They ordered the wrong frames and they will not make it right. I am currently working with my insurance co on a grievance but they haven't answered any of the insurance company's calls. So patient and entered in my complicated insurance to see how much money that it would save me, even though we ended up going with one of their promotions instead of using insurance. They estimated two weeks for my glasses to come back in but they were ready in five days. Sweet! Nothing fancy, but sweet, simple, and stress free. Someone seemed to be on a power trip and wanted everyone to know it. No one wants to see or hear it, take care of those things behind closed doors. Secondly, running late isn't usually a big deal as things happen. EXCEPT - you sent someone home creating a staffing issue which could have been avoided and then acted like it was the customer's issue to deal with. 2 1/2 hours later, I requested my prescription and to pay, receptionist (who was more interested in visiting with the others up front) told me she couldn't help me and I couldn't get my prescription until I paid, and to wait for the technician fitting glasses. The technician was with someone. Could not get glasses as when he was finished, he was supposed to go to lunch. Not his fault - he was the only technician there. (Isaac or Isaiah, cannot remember which) graciously helped me out before he left. He was much more professional and understanding than the receptionist and others up front - who flippantly told me it wasn't their job. I would say they need some CS training. My advice is to stay away, at least from the Marketplace location.

Now that I am needing more lenses, and despite my Rx still being well with-in a year old, Lance Bloom refused to do what he told me to my face he would do. He is claiming "because it's been 90 days, I need to refit your contact lenses," then he claimed he was 'legally bound' to re-examine my eyes, despite having seen me within the year... (i.e.- the usual optometrist scam. https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archive/2019/11/great-american-eye-exam-scam/602482/ ) I've worn CL (multiple brands, and, at least one other brand at this same practice for years) for over 30 years in total, with years at this practice, with no eye health issues whatsoever. Frankly, I feel he was very dishonest to me and clearly has some bias in pushing B&L contact lenses that I haven't been able to reliably order since he wrote the Rx. He flat out told me if I couldn't order them in the future, he would write for another brand- he even gave me multiple other brands to try out at that time. Now he claims I need to come back and and have lenes I've already worn, "refitted." Avoid this practice at all cost!

Stanton Optical provided an outstanding experience for my two children and I. My children and I were out doing last minute school errands when we decided to stop in to Stanton Optical. We wanted to see if all three of us could squeeze in an eye exam before they closed, so we could update both our contacts and glasses as well as see if my 7 year old actually needed glasses. From the moment we walked in the door everyone was very friendly and informative to the moment we walked out the door. I apologize I don't recall everyone's names but I do know Sara H. was the first to greet us as we came in, she over saw our entire experience and made sure we were a 100% satisfied before we left (double checking all the math and making sure we got the most for our money). (This took so much stress off my plate as a mother trying to get her kids eyes taken care of before school starts). The lady doing the pre-eye exam was wonderful as well. She had a sense of humor and made my 7 year old (that was nervous), feel very comfortable with the process. The optometrist was also great at caring on this type of service. As we were late picking out glasses, I had apologized for taking their time and Lily assured me that they were not in any rush as they were there to make sure the customers were taken care of. I was very pleased with ALL of the staff members. This type of customer service is why I and my family will be returning to Stanton Optical. I noticed coming home from a long trip that i was having increased blurryness in reading the signs. I got home safe only because i knew the way. I thought id better get my eyes checked before my next long trip, but was worried over the cost of new glasses. On a whim i stopped in to Stanton optical and was very happily surprised.I had an appoint. for the next day. Dr. Frakell was at the end of his long day and down one doctor for exams, but none the less, he was through pleasant and didn't make me feel rushed or uncared about. Sj and Christy were an absolute delight answering questions and helping me pick out glasses. I was so stressed out going in, but they made it a fun experience. Sj set me up way better than i could have ever imagined at an affordable price even for my budget.She was very knowledgeable and helpful to me expediting the whole process to have a pair of glasses ready by the next morning! I am very pleased with my glasses that i happily had so quickly since i was so concerned driving without them and endangering everyone. I would return in a heartbeat to stanton optical. I've used the Nampa, Stanton Optical office for my eyeglasses since they first opened and have never had problems with the eye exams, bad service or an issue with the progressive lenses they have provided me. The optometrist is very skilled, reassuring and personable. My prescriptive lenses have always been just right and of good quality. Though the appointment I scheduled online for today's visit did not register, optician, Jordan, worked me right in for an eye exam and optician Jolene was a great deal of help in setting me up with new pairs of stylish, affordable frames and lenses with all the extras I appreciate. Jordan and Jolene were both so very welcoming, efficient and highly professional. Their friendly service which now includes maintaining COVID-19 health and safety procedures and standards was well executed, reassuring and greatly appreciated in these difficult times. Just had a GREAT customer service experience I just NEED share. Had an appointment for an eye exam and glasses but 1 of the Dr.s was not here, we saw the line was long and were ready to leave. Instead of letting us walk out the door, they let us know how apologetic they were, offered upgraded lenses AND frames for the inconvience (and it really wasnt that big of a deal, we just had some shopping to get done) it made us feel as though we were really valued as a customer. It wasnt just the free upgrade it was how they handled the situation that made me feel HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY...I will be back! My husband, sons and I came in yesterday. 03/16/2020. We picked up a few frames for a reasonable price. Unfortunately our appointment was double booked. But we were still seen in a timely manner. All of the staff was friendly and polite to us. They were very helpful. In the midst of the COVID-19 outbreak, I saw many of the staff sanitizing their stations and other areas of the building wherever there may have been human contact. I originally went to Stanton Optical a year ago. I wasn't impressed. The girls on the optometrist side were loud and and had no professionalism. The optometrist was ok, not very friendly. This time was completely different. I was greeted immediately when I arrived. I checked in and went to look at frames where I found a pair I liked. The optometrist was friendly and personable. I worked with John who was really nice. My new glasses were ready in about 45 minutes. In all I received new glasses, a free pair of sunglasses and 2 years worth of contacts for about $200. I visited the Nampa, ID Stanton Optical store December 16th, 2020 to buy new glasses. My eyes were still fully dilated from my eye exam so my vision was fuzzy. I was promptly greeted by a smiling, friendly, laid-back Jacquelyn who helped me from start to finish in finding frames that would work for me, walking me through the available options, answering all of my questions and completing my purchase with no problems. Ok. I know this world is crazy, and can be a little intimidating, but the staff kinda makes you forget that. They are so sweet, very interested in the customer they are helping. I'm super stoked I got such great customer service, because nowadays its next to impossible to find. NEW MANAGEMENT! I gave Stanton Optical a second try because I didn't have the best experience a year ago. I tried other places in town for affordable glasses and was disappointed several times. I went to Stanton because I knew I wouldn't have to pay $300 for one pair of glasses like the other two places I had tried before. The new staff and management took EXCELLENT care of me! My salesperson, Jacquelyn, was simply amazing and very professional. I gave her a general idea of what I was looking for, and she immediately showed me a few that I might like. I am incredibly picky when it comes to glasses, so she let me look around without hovering over me, which I can appreciate. I am so impressed with the service I received!! I was very fortunate and the manager help me to get just the right glasses! She also helped me get a pair of sunglasses!! I got the coolest color blue for my lenses. I thought I was going to get shocked when I went to pay ( which is what has happened at OTHER places) but nope. The manager took great care of me!! I'm hard to get to change my ways and americas best just won over a customer for the next 20 years. After having an eye exam and then liking some Oakley Frames, and being quoted over $250 in store for the frames at Pearle Vision in Boise, I looked online and through EZ Contacts found the same item for $122.78. (Less than half price). I was told from the manager that I was welcome to purchase the frames elsewhere and they would still make and install lenses for me. When my frames arrived I went in (today) and was now informed that I would have to pay an extra $25 fee for using my Frames. She tried to explain it as an extra time cost for using my frames because they had to take extra time being careful... B.S. I already had to sign a release of liability in case they break them). I feel taken advantage of, being over charged for no reason that justifies the charge and plan to file a complaint. I already signed a release of liability, the company already utilizes these frames (so why the upcharge)? Why the 100 percent markup on frames? MONEY MONEY MONEY ! this is not a company that cares about its customers it only cares about generating excessive profits. I will not come back to this company again. After leaving this as a google Review, Terry the office manager threatened to cancel my lenses, and refund my insurance because of the negative review. This is not a place I would recommend and I plan to contact the state board to report the dishonesty and lack of transparency as well as the outrageous insurance gouging.

Great service, no charge for the fix, and I was on my way in less than 5 minutes. I originally came to this location after the VA couldn't get my prescription correct three times! The optometrist here got it right without any issues.

I highly discourage this office! Our experience has completely eroded our confidence in their…read morecompetence, accountability, and respect for patients' time and needs. We would not trust them going forward and strongly caution others to think twice before choosing this practice. During a routine annual eye exam, a technician took my husband glasses to inspect them while initial scans were being completed. The glasses were returned to us in the exam room with deep symmetrical scratches down the center of both lenses, damage that was not present when we arrived. We immediately pointed this out to both the technician and the doctor. At checkout, we asked a simple question: What is my husband supposed to do until we can come back to pick out and order news ones in the meantime? Initially, the office denied responsibility, but after the office manager spoke with the technician they did concede that the damage had occurred while the glasses were in their care. We were assured they wanted to make this right and the lenses would be replaced and that the process would take about a week. Which we appreciated.... However, that was almost a month ago now. Since then, we have followed every instruction given to us, shown up for each appointment they told us to, and waited, often more than an hour per visit, even with scheduled appointments! After the first delay, we were told the lenses had finally arrived but that we still needed to schedule an appointment to have them installed. When we came in for that appointment, we learned they had ordered the wrong lenses entirely, single-vision reading lenses instead of a direct replacement of his progressive lenses, making them unsafe and unusable for driving. They acknowledged their mistake and ordered another set. At yet another scheduled appointment, we were told that the lenses once again could not be installed because their "cutting machine made an error" and the lenses don't fit his frames. We were then told, yet again, to wait until next week. Currently my husband still does not have the glasses he needs and is left to use the ones this office damaged. This was not a cosmetic issue or a minor inconvenience, these are medically necessary glasses that affect his ability to function safely and work comfortably day to day. We don't want them to give us some new fancy frames or make improvements on the old lenses, we have just asked for the simplest and quickest way to repair the ones that were damaged. Had we known what we do now, we would have simply ordered new glasses originally or taken the more updated RX to another provider and ordered them then. At every step, their mistakes have resulted in our time, energy, and patience being drained. We have been understanding. We have been cooperative. We have jumped through every hoop asked of us. A almost a month later, we are no closer to a resolution, and being told to just wait again feels highly unacceptable. We are extremely disappointed and expected better from Dr. Bjorn and his staff.

Every experience has been top notch from the skilled staff assistance from selection through fit and finish. Yesterday was my first experience with Optometry care. My appointment with Dr. Warner was similarly excellent for the interaction with staff and the exam and time he spent talking with me about my eye issues related to my medical diagnosis and recommendations. (I have had MS since age 20 and it carries with it vision complications.) Given our great experiences, I'm surprised by an under 4-star Yelp average. But if you take the time to read behind Yelp's filter, you'll find a plethora of positive reviews which if posted with the others here would raise that total way up. OPTICAL - SERVICE: They do both contact lenses and eyeglasses and hit the rare sweet spot of being a large provider to offer a lot of options in frames but also with a "every customer counts" focus from well trained staff who know the product lines and also have the skills to help select frames that best fit your face, lifestyle, age and budget. We appreciate the "we're glad you're here" customer care from everyone we've worked with in optical staff. Their good work has earned our trust. To illustrate how patient they are with everyone, I share that one woman, who was in the store was in tears over recent loss of a loved one and strained finances as a result. The Vision One person assisting her was kind to acknowledge this woman's loss and bent over backwards taking a lot of time to work through frame options that would fit her limited budget. Buying eyeglass frames is 'big investment' for both my husband and me given the lens quality we choose and his need for progressives. The selection process can be more difficult for me given I wear a smaller frame size that is less often made and if made harder to find stocked in display rooms. I appreciate that Eagle Vision One carries some brands that make a few of the smaller sizes and are willing to order frames in the right size for me to try. Frames that don't work go to their inventory on the sales floor. Very nice. (Not all Optical providers will do this.) It takes all the risk out of it for the customer - and builds customer loyalty. I also offer a note of appreciation that the young optical staff here understands that we who are umm...more well seasoned...wearers of spectacles still care about style. That isn't always so for other optical providers. Good on 'em at Eagle Vision One for being willing to focus on style too for all ages. OPTICAL - FRAME BRANDS: They carry a broad selection in options from higher end lines like Coach, Kate Spade, Gucci, Prada, Jimmy Choo (yep, the high heels guru puts his name on glasses too), Silhouette, Hugo Boss, Carerra, Ray Ban...and so on. They also carry more mid range for price including brands like Flexon, Nike, Juicy Couture and Nine West. Many or most of these are all different lines out of big conglomerate eye frame entities like Safilo or Luxotica. They do not carry 0artisan frame lines like Bevel, SALT, State, Face a Face and Barton Perreira. Lines we like. We are so happy with the quality of service and finished product from Eagle Vision One that the only reason we ever visit another optical store is to look at artisan brands we like but not carried here. For some we would still bring the frames here for the lens work to be done given the top quality of their lens maker. I am now at a place in life where I appreciate the materials and workmanship in these brands and can afford to pay for them too. If I could change one thing at Vision One it would be for them to be able to add a couple of these artisan brands to their line up. PARKING: Easy in private lot. ACCESSIBILITY: Accessible parking in lot, the store is level in and all on one floor and seating for eyeglass review and order is at standard height. Loo is accessible. So are eye exam rooms. SPECIAL OFFER: Whether from time to time or always, it seems they have an offer where if the same customer orders two eyeglasses at the same time there is a discount (30%?) on the second pair. MERIDIAN LOCATION: A Meridian location opened Sept. 2019. It is not yet on Yelp.

Eagle One thinks these failures are ok and they noted I will get new glasses in a few months but NOT FROM THEM. Brief history: I purchased these frames two critical reasons and a third. First the fit nice and snug. Due to my lenses glasses often slip down my noise, a significant issue for me. Purchased two pair on 10/22/2024 for $966.00 First pair picked up 11/3/2024, and second on 11/13/2024 I believe between 11/13/2024 and Feb 20, 2025 there were several visits regarding frames slipping. The first day I have notes of frame issue is Feb 20, 2025. I believe there were several visits from Feb 20 to July where I went in due to frame slipping down. I finally figured out why the glasses were slipping down my noise and I would have to push them up 3-5 times per hour was on July 17, 2025 when I compared the two frames, one had the rubber ear section and one had them missing. First frame replaced. On Aug 4, 2025 frame replaced again On Aug 13, 2025 another frame replace (waved $25 fee) On Sept 8 2025 both frames were replaced, and I meet with Eagle Vision One Management to bring up the issues. No options as it was outside the 30 or 90 day window. (waved the $25 fees) On Oct 22 Frame failure again, replaced with display model (offer to pay the 25 fee but waved) They would have allowed me to choose new frames if they had failed within 90 days. Quality products are not their game.

As we perused the displays, they really don't list the prices on their frames, just code numbers. We finally found a couple of frames and then we were greeted by their sales representative. Then here comes the craziness. To get all of the additional options for your eyeglasses, my cost was $990 for one single pair of glasses. Insurance did its job in getting me these glasses for free, but seriously folks, $990 for glasses? I bought a no nonsense pair of frames. They weren't even a famous brand name I recognized and they were $320. That just crazy, it's just plastic. Well, we were finally done. Now the bad news. It's going to take them 3 weeks to get my glasses made and sent to the store. That's way too long. Everywhere I've ever shopped in the past for eyewear has only taken them about 1 week to turnaround and get them back to me. 3 weeks is way too long to wait for eye glasses in my humble opinion. I'm on the fence here. This was our third stop for eye glasses. We almost walked here too, but we caved in and just wanted the madness to stop. We just wanted eyeglasses, nothing more, nothing less. I really can't recommend this facility. I wasn't really impressed at all with their service team or their selection of eyewear. They only seemed to carry overpriced name brand frames. And don't think you are going to find something really splashy or something trendy with a lot of color here. This was all middle of the road boring frames. Just because we get older doesn't mean we don't appreciate style and color. Parking was easy, this shop is in a medical building on the first floor. Get your wallet out, this place is very expensive if you don't have great insurance coverage!

Their "system" still can't find me. The Dr seems fine. Front desk staff ok. The gal told me to come in for another appointment in order to get a "trial" contact lens. I'm confident in saying that Six One Six is by far, one of the best vision care facilities I have ever been to. I came here because they were one of the few places that took my horrible vision insurance from a previous job I had. I finally moved companies and now have exceptional coverage, yet found no reason to switch providers, regardless of the abundance of in-network and closer vision options to me. I have never experienced any issues regarding care, appointments, communication or billing in the 4 years I've been a customer. In fact, I've experienced exceptionally personalized, professional and authentic care from day one. I've had the absolute pleasure of being Dr Shelby Strick's patient from the get-go and am consistently comforted by her attention to detail, assurance and easy-to-understand explanation on everything I'm experiencing. Allie is usually the one that takes care of me with picking out eyewear, fittings and reviewing my bill. She is truly exceptional...with her patience, support to ensure you're getting what you need within budget (but still looking hot in your specs) and most of all, how approachable and friendly she is. I feel lucky to find such amazing people to take care of me.
