I'm confident in saying that Six One Six is by far, one of the best vision care facilities I have ever been to. I came here because they were one of the few places that took my horrible vision insurance from a previous job I had. I finally moved companies and now have exceptional coverage, yet found no reason to switch providers, regardless of the abundance of in-network and closer vision options to me. I have never experienced any issues regarding care, appointments, communication or billing in the 4 years I've been a customer. In fact, I've experienced exceptionally personalized, professional and authentic care from day one. I've had the absolute pleasure of being Dr Shelby Strick's patient from the get-go and am consistently comforted by her attention to detail, assurance and easy-to-understand explanation on everything I'm experiencing. Allie is usually the one that takes care of me with picking out eyewear, fittings and reviewing my bill. She is truly exceptional...with her patience, support to ensure you're getting what you need within budget (but still looking hot in your specs) and most of all, how approachable and friendly she is. It was 6:35 p.m on a Friday night. I called the Walmart Vision & Glass department and they said come on in. A very nice women named Renee saw our terror and immediately sprung into action. She worked on the glasses for about 20 minutes and fixed the problem. We were beyond thrilled! They did not charge us a cent. Renee said it was part of their services. Sadly, Expressions in Eyewear is no longer in Woodinville--but happily, the business still exists and you can conduct everything online and through the mail at its new address in Idaho. I just got a pair of computer glasses that way to replace my ancient, mangled ones--Glenn figured out my prescription based on the lenses I sent him and popped the new lenses into a frame he thought I'd like--and I did! I wanted to go with a local frameshop for my new…read moreglasses instead of going with my optometrist's office or just picking something up at Costco. I happened to stumble on this place completely by accident, and left very pleased with my experience! The owner, Glenn, introduced himself and his business as being "Hands-on" with customers to help them find the best pair of glasses that fit their face, even if it's not a style and/or color they'd normally pick. I'll admit, I was a bit scared of potentially pushy sales tactics, but that ended up being a needless worry. Glenn himself has plenty of experience in the science behind color theory and how it applies to not only appearance and fashion, but how it subtly affects our subconscious. As a graphic designer and science nerd myself, I was happy to let him geek out on me about why he selected certain frames for my consideration. I tried on probably 50 pairs of frames during my first visit, and using Glenn's elimination method, narrowed my choice down to four frames in about 10-15 minutes. I ended up choosing a pair that was similar in style to ones I've worn in the past, but a different color pattern that ended up fitting in well with my wardrobe without being overly flashy. My second visit I went in for some prescription sunglasses and am very happy with the results. I love the variety of options available in terms of coatings, production methods (Digital versus traditional), and just variety of styles in general. Prices range from affordable to high-end designer. Expression's turnaround time is pretty fast, too - my primary glasses came in about 3 days after ordering, and my polarized prescription sunglasses in about 5 business days.
