I highly discourage this office! Our experience has completely eroded our confidence in their competence, accountability, and respect for patients' time and needs. We would not trust them going forward and strongly caution others to think twice before choosing this practice. During a routine annual eye exam, a technician took my husband glasses to inspect them while initial scans were being completed. The glasses were returned to us in the exam room with deep symmetrical scratches down the center of both lenses, damage that was not present when we arrived. We immediately pointed this out to both the technician and the doctor. At checkout, we asked a simple question: What is my husband supposed to do until we can come back to pick out and order news ones in the meantime? Initially, the office denied responsibility, but after the office manager spoke with the technician they did concede that the damage had occurred while the glasses were in their care. We were assured they wanted to make this right and the lenses would be replaced and that the process would take about a week. Which we appreciated.... However, that was almost a month ago now. Since then, we have followed every instruction given to us, shown up for each appointment they told us to, and waited, often more than an hour per visit, even with scheduled appointments! After the first delay, we were told the lenses had finally arrived but that we still needed to schedule an appointment to have them installed. When we came in for that appointment, we learned they had ordered the wrong lenses entirely, single-vision reading lenses instead of a direct replacement of his progressive lenses, making them unsafe and unusable for driving. They acknowledged their mistake and ordered another set. At yet another scheduled appointment, we were told that the lenses once again could not be installed because their "cutting machine made an error" and the lenses don't fit his frames. We were then told, yet again, to wait until next week. Currently my husband still does not have the glasses he needs and is left to use the ones this office damaged. This was not a cosmetic issue or a minor inconvenience, these are medically necessary glasses that affect his ability to function safely and work comfortably day to day. We don't want them to give us some new fancy frames or make improvements on the old lenses, we have just asked for the simplest and quickest way to repair the ones that were damaged. Had we known what we do now, we would have simply ordered new glasses originally or taken the more updated RX to another provider and ordered them then. At every step, their mistakes have resulted in our time, energy, and patience being drained. We have been understanding. We have been cooperative. We have jumped through every hoop asked of us. A almost a month later, we are no closer to a resolution, and being told to just wait again feels highly unacceptable. We are extremely disappointed and expected better from Dr. Bjorn and his staff. read more

Dr Moss is outstanding. He doesn't rush at all, and he has handled our whole family. He always takes the time to even answer the dumb questions and has a great personality. The assistant a few days ago was awesome too (Jayden I think was her name). The expense of glasses in general sucks especially when we want all the bells and whistles. But I went cheap last year at another place and regretted it. The glasses sucked. So this week I'm ordering my new ones from Eagle Vision again. I asked them to check my insurance prior to making my selection. I was told one thing but then something different when it came time to pay. I was also told that I would receive a separate notification for each set of glasses and that I could pick them up at the same time. When I didn't receive a notification on the 2nd pair, I. My boys & I all go to Eagle Vision One. Started in Eagle, then moved to the Meridian location when they moved. They are very good my oldest who is on the spectrum, having to give many prompts to follow instruction for the exam. Very patient. They seem to train their eyewear specialists well and glasses have always been on time or early and not errors in prescriptions. I will say that they do try to upsell the heck out of you upon paying for your glasses, but that is pretty typical from what I've seen out there. New'ish offshoot (opened 2019) of mothership Eagle Vision One in Eagle, this optometry and opticial services business is located in a strip mall with convenient parking in Meridian and has equally customer friendly layout and helpful optical staff as the Eagle location. My husband and I, both long time wearers of eyeglasses and multi year clients of the Eagle location, toodled into the Meridian store for the first time last Saturday morning right after they opened (8a to Noon Saturdays) to see if there were eyeglass styles for him he liked better than the two pair on the 'finals list' at the Eagle location before he made his purchase there. Friendly staff greeted us and let us look about as we told them the reason for our visit but were readily available when my hubby had a question. INVENTORY: Good variety of frames here for men and women, although for our shopping profiles maybe more at the Eagle store in the brands we purchase. If you're looking for children's frames, there seemed to be a really great variety and assortment here. Frame prices across price points here from those marked "special value" (or something like that) to designer brands. COVID19 SAFETY PRACTICES: Here as in the Eagle location, all staff and customers must wear masks. After you have handled a frame off the display you leave it on one of the stations and the staff cleans it before it is put back on display. (This process is a little better organized at the Eagle store where they have a "deposit basket" for the handled frames and an auto-clave looking piece of equipment below it that the staff puts he frames in to clean them.) New construction, high ceilings, good venilation, a comfortable place to shop. THE PRACTICAL MATTER: When one is going to invest several hundred dollars between frames and lenses in spectacles, one needs to be able to see oneself without mask. One of the reasons we went in early when there were no other customers in the store was to be able to stand at one of the far back mirrors so that my hubby could lower his mask to assess how a frame looked on him, something we would not do were there others in proximity. LOO: Is in the lobby. ACCESSIBILITY: From parking lot in and throughout this seems among one of he few truly ADA compliant facilities in Meridian, including having perhaps the only correct for parking scope and placement in the area. Level in the door, ample clear floor spaces, seating for fittings is at standard height tables. Lobby loo accessible too. GOOD DEAL PS: Once a year they have a "back to school" special that applies to all customers not just students. It is buy two pair and get 50% off the price of the second. My hubby took advantage of that great deal which expires today (August 31). read more

I went in for an eye exam. I started filling out my paperwork and was called back before I was able to finish it. During my exam I was offered another test but was told my insurance wouldn't cover it and I would need to pay out of pocket for it. How do they know my insurance doesn't cover it since they didn't have my insurance information yet? 1st red flag. My exam was completed. Completed by the assassistant and not the actual Eye Dr. Which I thought was really weird. Why isn't the eye Dr actually doing the tests, instead of coming in later to tell me what the test showed? After my test was finished the "eye dr" didn't tell me much except someone would be in to show me the eye glasses. After sitting down w the lady who shows the eye glasses I was told my portion of the eye glasses bill was over 300.00. Huge red flag considering they didn't have my insurance information yet. I mentioned to her that and finished filling it out. She looked at it and said the cost was still the same as she quoted me. How is that possible? Huge red flag! I will go else where. My portion shouldn't be the same without the insurance. My insurance should cover all if not most of my bill. I have a feeling Eagle Vision One is double charging. My family and I all had appointments. Dr. Moss was so awful, based on our experience with him alone I would never go back! He treated me like I was a liar and didn't give me the second bRx I wanted because I couldn't tell him the prior brand of contacts I used. Kept asking me what other kind of contacts I used and when I told him what kind I thought it was he asked me the strength and then again asked the brand. After several times of telling him he told me they didn't even make that kind anymore. I said well I guess it's the other kind. I will absolutely never return. They also inflated the rebate amount for the Rx and when I asked the details the girl was very vague. It's been several months and I'm still waiting on that second Rx. read more

This has been a really good experience so far. My eye exam went well the doctor spent plenty of time with me and I'm comfortable with my choices. About a week later I went in to pick out frames. they spent time with me and even helped me with color suggestions and frame shape. No high pressure sales here. Every single person in this store was so very nice. My wife and I order three pair of glasses and pay for them under my wife insurance. We decided to get a fourth pair and our payment method had a compromised payment method. So I had to wait for an updated card. The store would not order a fourth pair until we paid. New payment method arrives and we order the new glasses. Two weeks goes by. No communication from the EVO. We inquired and find out the frames are back ordered. Two pair of the glasses my wife ordered have lenses that are falling out. As if nobody at EVO is inspecting the glasses beyond taking them out of the box. My wife and I will no longer do business with them. Im waiting on the fourth pair of glasses. read more

The optometrist I saw was amazing. Having said that, my disappointment came when I found out that this clinic (and maybe other clinics across the country also) re use their contact lens cases after an exam. I thought they were disposed of after each patient use because they are plastic and cannot be completely sanitized. I assume it is being done that way to save money. In this day and age of emerging "viruses" I was horrified to find that out. Please bring your own contact lens case to any appointment in any clinic anywhere in the country. read more

The entire experience was horrible. Start to finish. The tech fumbled her way around and had no idea how to use a machine. Was not up front about fees that were associated with a contact training for my daughter, said it was industry standard to charge $159 to train my daughter how to to put in and take out.which failed and my daughter left with no contact prescription. The best part, is I called around other optometrists and asked if they charged this fee, gave a little chuckle and said no we do not. On top of it, I called before to verify what was covered under my insurance BEFORE my appt and was $360 more than anticipated. Giving a one star is generous. read more

The one star is a generous star. Our experience started out as good, and quickly became bad. Getting the lenses was a superb experience. My husband had frames ( RayBans) he wanted. He did NOT buy the frames at Eagle Vision One; so, off he sent the prescription and lenses. The young gentleman said it would take two weeks to get the lenses and glasses back. Two days after the two week Mark, I contacted the center. Riley ( Railey?), the receptionist, told me the frames had broken and we'd need to replace it by either purchasing frames from there or bringing in our own. I questioned her how they broke, and why are we responsible for someone's careless actions? She indicated it was our problem, not the centers. Taken back by the response, I asked her how come we weren't notified sooner. She said she was sorry, she was unsure. I asked to speak to a manager, the manager was at lunch. 1st, why is it that I have to call a business after they said it would be in within Two weeks? How come accountability isn't being met on their end? Shouldn't the right thing to do is call a customer to let them know a. They are running behind , and b. They were irresponsible and broke our frames? Why do I have to take time out of my schedule To call? Secondly, someone should train the receptionist business etiquette. The receptionist attitude was horrid. Third-Being held accountable for someone's actions, into regarding breaking the frames, is not what I would except from a business. We also weren't told this information. I'm now out of 200 dollars because they "aren't responsible". What kind of response is that?? Appalling. The first visit was amazing and actually both times Dr. Moss was so helpful and swift to diagnoise a damaged macula I'd never known I had. I ordered daily contacts last July and in October called because it seemed I had more of one eye than I do the others, as they are different perscriptions. I then wasn't sure and said I'd call back after I get time to count them thouroughly. So a few months later I called back to say I was basically missed 1 box of one eye even though I paid for years worth. They were HORRIBLE. Offered to order me another box for $120 without ANY investigation into what happened to my missing box. The rebate promised was never issued....just lots of bad issues this go around. I would let it go but now I keep getting text reminders to "schedule my exam", which is laughable considering they basically blew off THEIR mistake and want my business again. So disappointed. Definitely going elsewhere and would NOT recommend. The staff treated my issue like a joke and they are such a disgrace to a great optomertrist! read more

They consistently mess up our new glasses. Whether it's fitting lenses to the wrong frame or fitting the wrong lenses to the frame I've picked, they just can't seem to be consistent. The optometrists themselves are great, but they're customer service is not. read more

The optometrist was excellent. No complaint there. Both my husband and I spent close to $1000 each on a pair of glasses with graduated lenses. Both of us have gone back to our old frame. So we each have an expensive pair of glasses that fit horribly and are not comfortable at all. The frames were not cheap. I won't be coming back to this place to buy glasses. read more

I am not someone who loves going in for an eye appointment. I had successfully avoided it for about 3 years. Until I realized I should probably bring my kids in. I thought I may as well set a good example for them and do it myself also. I went in first on a Tuesday and can't say enough good things about my experience. The office was beautiful and welcoming and the staff was all so kind and patient with me. I had so many good things to say about my appointment that when it was time for my kids to go a couple days later, they were actually excited. My kids are 5 and 8 and had never been to an eye doctor. The staff was soooo great with them and made them feel so comfortable and at ease. What a great first experience for all of us! read more

Wife and I are customers for nearly 2 years. Went to get a pair of relatively new expensive glasses repaired yesterday. This pair replaced the same brand eye wear I had to have repaired twice before. They said the original warranty (first pair) had expired, new pair was not under a new warranty, and would have to be completely replaced for $185. When I questioned this policy and other possible options, the reply was 'we can't give away glasses'. Was not a friendly visit! Definitely not the same friendly, experienced, professional crew from our previous visits! They certainly don't back up their expensive product, or care about customer satisfaction!! Too bad, the eye doctor that examines us is AWESOME!!! Will try other Insurance covered options in the future. read more

The staff was friendly and professional. My only gripe was my glasses took longer than I was told. I don't think it's their fault and most likely COVID related. My glasses didn't fit well when I got home and tried them on and I had to make adjustments myself and bent the frame. I am used to getting them fitted when I get new glasses, but it may have been a COVID issue as well. That being said I would use them again. read more

First time using them and absolutely terrible. It took over two months from eye exam to finished glasses. They ordered in my frames which apparently only took 4 days to receive however nobody called to tell me so they sat for weeks until I called. Then I was promised the lab is onsite and they would be completed within days....sigh once again It took me calling to find out, surprise, they were finished long ago and yes again nobody called me. Finally when I went to pick up my glasses I was handed a bag with my glasses and the receptionist said thanks. And walked away. No fitting, no adjustments (yes they needed them thanks lens crafters for adjusting them) totally dissapointed. They were happy to take my money then not deliver anything correctly. The staff during the eye exam were friendly and nice, however they delayed getting my wife's glasses made and did not tell us about the delay until we called them to check up on the progress of her order. They ended up canceling my glasses I ordered because they did not have the frames I picked out and it took two calls before they finally finished my order.
