Saturday morning early - they open 8a - is a good time to shop
    Michele R.

New'ish offshoot (opened 2019) of mothership Eagle Vision One in Eagle, this optometry and opticial services business is located in a strip mall with convenient parking in Meridian and has equally customer friendly layout and helpful optical staff as the Eagle location. My husband and I, both long time wearers of eyeglasses and multi year clients of the Eagle location, toodled into the Meridian store for the first time last Saturday morning right after they opened (8a to Noon Saturdays) to see if there were eyeglass styles for him he liked better than the two pair on the 'finals list' at the Eagle location before he made his purchase there. Friendly staff greeted us and let us look about as we told them the reason for our visit but were readily available when my hubby had a question. INVENTORY: Good variety of frames here for men and women, although for our shopping profiles maybe more at the Eagle store in the brands we purchase. If you're looking for children's frames, there seemed to be a really great variety and assortment here. Frame prices across price points here from those marked "special value" (or something like that) to designer brands. COVID19 SAFETY PRACTICES: Here as in the Eagle location, all staff and customers must wear masks. After you have handled a frame off the display you leave it on one of the stations and the staff cleans it before it is put back on display. (This process is a little better organized at the Eagle store where they have a "deposit basket" for the handled frames and an auto-clave looking piece of equipment below it that the staff puts he frames in to clean them.) New construction, high ceilings, good venilation, a comfortable place to shop. THE PRACTICAL MATTER: When one is going to invest several hundred dollars between frames and lenses in spectacles, one needs to be able to see oneself without mask. One of the reasons we went in early when there were no other customers in the store was to be able to stand at one of the far back mirrors so that my hubby could lower his mask to assess how a frame looked on him, something we would not do were there others in proximity. LOO: Is in the lobby. ACCESSIBILITY: From parking lot in and throughout this seems among one of he few truly ADA compliant facilities in Meridian, including having perhaps the only correct for parking scope and placement in the area. Level in the door, ample clear floor spaces, seating for fittings is at standard height tables. Lobby loo accessible too. GOOD DEAL PS: Once a year they have a "back to school" special that applies to all customers not just students. It is buy two pair and get 50% off the price of the second. My hubby took advantage of that great deal which expires today (August 31).

They are very good my oldest who is on the spectrum, having to give many prompts to follow instruction for the exam.

Not impressed. Eyes on Meridian was highly raved about in my local facebook community. My husband…read moresigned up and referred me on the intake form. #1 They undercharged me at my visit, and called to ask for more money the week of Christmas. When I called back to ask about the breakdown of charges, the price changed again. It didn't seem like they knew what they were charging me for. But I paid it. Then they called AGAIN to ask for more money. I asked for a breakdown to be emailed to me. #2 My husband got a call and text that his glasses were ready, he took time off work to come pick them up and they said their system sent the messages in error. #3 Then when my husband called to ask about the referral credit not showing up, the front desk said Office Manager Kristi will call my husband. And then emailed saying she DID call and leave a voicemail. Which she did not. He called again and Kristi was condescending and said "it just doesn't make sense for us to do that for a nuclear family, what if you had 8 kids?" I said, "Well your flyer specifically states "Refer a friend or family member and receive a $20 credit on your account. Just tell the friend or family member to let us know you referred them!" We did just that on the intake." Kristi said she would honor a $20 referral credit but we would not be allowed to refer anyone else to them and she is going to reprint all of their flyers to exclude the nuclear family. LOL. I'm surprised how rude and abrasive she was. Your advertising is misleading and yeah you SHOULD fix it. I've literally referred my husband to every doctor I have and my dentist is awesome and gives $50 credits, no cap. Ha. No issues with the doctor or eye test parts of our visit, the eye tech guy was super sweet, but we won't be back. They have too many problems to deal with and we spent over $1,000 there after insurance. They can keep their $20 referral credit and they just lost me, my husband, and I was going to refer my mom who needs an exam and glasses.
