When I called back to ask about the breakdown of charges, the price changed again. It didn't seem like they knew what they were charging me for. But I paid it. Then they called AGAIN to ask for more money. I asked for a breakdown to be emailed to me. #2 My husband got a call and text that his glasses were ready, he took time off work to come pick them up and they said their system sent the messages in error. #3 Then when my husband called to ask about the referral credit not showing up, the front desk said Office Manager Kristi will call my husband. And then emailed saying she DID call and leave a voicemail. Which she did not. He called again and Kristi was condescending and said "it just doesn't make sense for us to do that for a nuclear family, what if you had 8 kids?" I said, "Well your flyer specifically states "Refer a friend or family member and receive a $20 credit on your account. Just tell the friend or family member to let us know you referred them!" We did just that on the intake." Kristi said she would honor a $20 referral credit but we would not be allowed to refer anyone else to them and she is going to reprint all of their flyers to exclude the nuclear family. LOL. I'm surprised how rude and abrasive she was. Your advertising is misleading and yeah you SHOULD fix it. I've literally referred my husband to every doctor I have and my dentist is awesome and gives $50 credits, no cap. Ha. No issues with the doctor or eye test parts of our visit, the eye tech guy was super sweet, but we won't be back. They have too many problems to deal with and we spent over $1,000 there after insurance. They can keep their $20 referral credit and they just lost me, my husband, and I was going to refer my mom who needs an exam and glasses.

Dr. Ostler explained how cataracts can increase pressure on your eye and suggested cataract surgery which made me FREAK OUT, but after his calm explanation of the procedure and answers to all my questions I booked my surgery. I now call it more of a procedure. You're still awake, but really, really relaxed and pain free. 10-15 minutes then Bam, you're in recovery sipping juice, coke, 7-up whatever - awake but don't drive unless you want to get pulled over by your local enforcement officer. Rest the rest of the day and don't FREAK OUT if your eye is cloudy or blurry. It clears. Just follow Dr. Ostler's instructions. I promise you it's OK. My surgery (procedure) was yesterday and I'm great! YOU WILL BE TOO!

I called my eye doctor who I found out was out on vacation. I was told he'd return from his vacation in 11 days. Funny, as I hung up, I realized they didn't even offer me a referral to another eye doctor. I called right back, I got a different person to speak with and she graciously offered me a referral to see Erik M. Ostler, M.D. I called his office and asked if I could make an appointment for tomorrow or any day this week. They asked me if I could come in today at 3:30pm. I looked at the clock in my Jeep and it read 2:30pm. As I tried to compose myself from the sudden shock of being told I could come right in, I said yes, I'll be right there, thank you so much! After a short wait in the waiting room my wife and I were taken back to an exam room. Lauren was so welcoming. She's not your typical nurse's assistant. She was extraordinarily kind and genuinely compassionate. With the way the World spins today, Lauren was a breathe of fresh air. The Golden Rule applies here and she's positively the perfect spokesperson to sell us all on it. She has a remarkable and cheerful attitude! Dr. Erik came in with an attitude that followed Lauren's. Extremely well spoken, kind and articulate. He listened to me and after a thorough examination, a treatment plan was agreed upon. A follow up will be with him tomorrow. I think I've just found my new eye doctor. Thank you Dr. Erik and Lauren. You're both miles above the bar that is set in most doctors offices here in Nampa. Well done! I can't thank you enough for squeezing me in same day, same hour. I was blown away!

We had already been to two other places in town to purchase eye glasses from and walked out. Maybe it's because of our age, we just expect better customer service and as we've experienced lately, it's just not there anymore. The front desk greeting was fair to Midland. It felt like they were bothered that we showed up. We were told to look around at all of the frames and someone would be with us shortly. As we perused the displays, they really don't list the prices on their frames, just code numbers. We finally found a couple of frames and then we were greeted by their sales representative. Then here comes the craziness. To get all of the additional options for your eyeglasses, my cost was $990 for one single pair of glasses. Insurance did its job in getting me these glasses for free, but seriously folks, $990 for glasses? I bought a no nonsense pair of frames. They weren't even a famous brand name I recognized and they were $320. That just crazy, it's just plastic. Well, we were finally done. Now the bad news. It's going to take them 3 weeks to get my glasses made and sent to the store. That's way too long. Everywhere I've ever shopped in the past for eyewear has only taken them about 1 week to turnaround and get them back to me. 3 weeks is way too long to wait for eye glasses in my humble opinion. I'm on the fence here. This was our third stop for eye glasses. We almost walked here too, but we caved in and just wanted the madness to stop. We just wanted eyeglasses, nothing more, nothing less. I really can't recommend this facility. I wasn't really impressed at all with their service team or their selection of eyewear. They only seemed to carry overpriced name brand frames. And don't think you are going to find something really splashy or something trendy with a lot of color here. This was all middle of the road boring frames. Just because we get older doesn't mean we don't appreciate style and color. Parking was easy, this shop is in a medical building on the first floor. Get your wallet out, this place is very expensive if you don't have great insurance coverage!

Was then met by Dr. Farris he was amazing and very patient with me trying to figure out what was better between 1-2. After we were done with my prescription needs I was met by Kennedy (hopefully that correct spelling if not sorry!) she went over the payment and helped me pick my new frames and was so friendly and polite. So glad I found this group of friendly and skilled people.
