He gives me suggestions for eye drops, supplements and really spends time answering all of your questions. Irene further explained the eyeglass composition for the spectacles that I was purchasing for my long hours in front of my computer. She was so thorough while helping me select my glasses and taking measurements. She has a wonderful personality and was a pleasure to work with. Katie at the front desk has such a bright, helpful disposition. I have been a customer for over a decade and am grateful for the incomparable Dr. White and his amazing staff!

They ordered the wrong frames and they will not make it right. I am currently working with my insurance co on a grievance but they haven't answered any of the insurance company's calls. I found the glasses I wanted in 5 minutes and sat down at one of their fitting stations. I watched 2 women employees chat it up for about 10 minutes and it wasn't about business either.. One of them finally looked my way and came over to assist. The first thing I asked was does this frame come wider, like a 57? I was told yes, that would be no problem. Low and behold, 20 minutes later, they are ready to fit me with my frames. I reminded her the frame in my hands was way too small and we need to properly measure my frames for a correct fit. Then just as you'd expect from these highly trained technicians, she was wrong, she said these frames do not come as wide as I told her I needed. 30 minutes down the drain for her incompetence. "I'm so sorry, I misunderstood you" she said. How could you misunderstand if this frame comes in a wide 57? Well, I guess these technicians need to go to a hearing doctor first before getting a job here first. They are obviously working in the wrong profession. Rent a clue folks!

Now that I am needing more lenses, and despite my Rx still being well with-in a year old, Lance Bloom refused to do what he told me to my face he would do. He is claiming "because it's been 90 days, I need to refit your contact lenses," then he claimed he was 'legally bound' to re-examine my eyes, despite having seen me within the year... (i.e.- the usual optometrist scam. https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archive/2019/11/great-american-eye-exam-scam/602482/ ) I've worn CL (multiple brands, and, at least one other brand at this same practice for years) for over 30 years in total, with years at this practice, with no eye health issues whatsoever. Frankly, I feel he was very dishonest to me and clearly has some bias in pushing B&L contact lenses that I haven't been able to reliably order since he wrote the Rx. He flat out told me if I couldn't order them in the future, he would write for another brand- he even gave me multiple other brands to try out at that time. That was with my insurance!! I went to Stanton and purchased a new lense for under 200. I was so impressed I became obsessed with getting new glasses and prior to moving here I became a "Eyerwear enthusiast" and purchased several pair..plus sending several family and friends. The service was very good and then I moved to Nampa and refused to go to the Nampa Stanton optical and continued to buy more glasses when I went to Vancouver every March and October. NEVER had an issue aside from my husband thinking I had become a full-blown frame fanatic....the manager from Vancouver Stanton moved to Nampa store, where I have continued to purchase a few new pair of glasses. I have several pair of high end glasses...Prada, Coach, Ray Band, Gucci and other pairs from Europe...The glasses I have from Stanton are good quality, fun and very stylish. Any issues I have had are quickly resolved and I appreciate their service and all glasses are guaranteed and they stand behind that guarantee. Yes, sometimes they are very busy and you do need to wait. I had to wait at my regular doctor's office as well. It is worth it! You save so much. The Nampa location is very busy and the service is just as good as Vancouver location. There are rude folks everywhere. Perhaps a bad day. We never know what someone is experiencing. I hate to see bad reviews for Stanton because someone had to wait or was offended by a "rude" employee. You save a great deal of money, good quality and good service. I just picked up four pair of glasses today that I gave them the incorrect perscription. They re-did them all.....perfectly. I look so cute in all my frames.!! My husband…read moresigned up and referred me on the intake form. #1 They undercharged me at my visit, and called to ask for more money the week of Christmas. When I called back to ask about the breakdown of charges, the price changed again. It didn't seem like they knew what they were charging me for. But I paid it. Then they called AGAIN to ask for more money. I asked for a breakdown to be emailed to me. #2 My husband got a call and text that his glasses were ready, he took time off work to come pick them up and they said their system sent the messages in error. #3 Then when my husband called to ask about the referral credit not showing up, the front desk said Office Manager Kristi will call my husband. And then emailed saying she DID call and leave a voicemail. Which she did not. He called again and Kristi was condescending and said "it just doesn't make sense for us to do that for a nuclear family, what if you had 8 kids?" I said, "Well your flyer specifically states "Refer a friend or family member and receive a $20 credit on your account. Just tell the friend or family member to let us know you referred them!" We did just that on the intake." Kristi said she would honor a $20 referral credit but we would not be allowed to refer anyone else to them and she is going to reprint all of their flyers to exclude the nuclear family. LOL. I'm surprised how rude and abrasive she was. Your advertising is misleading and yeah you SHOULD fix it. I've literally referred my husband to every doctor I have and my dentist is awesome and gives $50 credits, no cap. Ha. No issues with the doctor or eye test parts of our visit, the eye tech guy was super sweet, but we won't be back. They have too many problems to deal with and we spent over $1,000 there after insurance. They can keep their $20 referral credit and they just lost me, my husband, and I was going to refer my mom who needs an exam and glasses.
