Regular fast food joint. Food is fresh place is clean. I always get the Grilled Chicken sandwich on garlic bread. Delicious! I haven't tried their breakfast yet. Will do soon 11.8.17 UPDATE I finally got their breakfast it was fast and fresh for $6. Can't beat that!

Tried this place this weekend and it was very delicious. Sometimes you just want a delicious, throwback burger that is charbroiled and juicy. Come here. Is it the cheapest place? No, is it incredibly expensive, no. Though nestled in the industrial corridor of Elston Ave.; it is in between Lincoln Park and WIcker Park/ Bucktown, add city taxes, and you've got these prices. It's a 'greasy spoon' type of diner, lots of fast food options. We tried the burgers, fries, and the gyros. All were very good; the burger and gyros were nice and juicy, the fries were good (though I am sure if they were frozen of freshly made). They advertise their charbroiled chicken which I am interested in trying next. The place seemed very clean and super organized. The accouterments behind the counter were so organized it made my OCD heart smile.

Only got a few minutes for lunch? Want fast service? What a hardy meal? Well you're looking at the right review. Let's keep in mind that this little café is the evil little brother from the Stanley's produce market. Their luscious and delicious meals are geared for the lunch crowded... This is not fine dining... simply order and go! I had the strip steak (please reference the picture) and had a hard time finishing it. Their portions are king! Their décor is a seamless modern America dinner/café... something small but clean Their service could use some improvement... I really don't have much to say about this please... a great place for lunch, but I will never take a date here.

The burger was good, I was in a happy place eating it and was almost finished before noticing the entire place was crawling with ants and some other type of bug. I got a few pictures too of the ants. Kind of scares me thinking of what is in their kitchen

We happened to already be in the city that day and somehow got lucky finding a reservation close to the time we were already nearby, so we knew we had to take our chance! The whole place is beautiful and has such a cozy, classic Chicago feel. I would absolutely come back, but next time I really want to sit outside because their outdoor patio is gorgeous. The staff was also super friendly and really helpful with recommendations throughout the night. We started with the warm Parker House rolls, which were so soft, fluffy, buttery, and delicious. Then we shared the vodka rigatoni, and the portion was definitely big enough for two people to split. So creamy, comforting, and really good. Of course we had to end with one of their classics, the sticky date cake, and OMG. Soooo good. Warm, rich, sweet, and the perfect way to finish dinner. Definitely worth finally checking off my list, and I'd happily come back again, especially for a patio night!

The burger had a lot of toppings, including a sauce and pickled onions and a very good amount of pickles. The Caesar salad honestly was not good, tasted very artificial and I probably would only try their sandwiches or appetizers if I went back. The truffle fries didn't have a strong truffle flavor, but I like the shoe string shape and they come with ketchup and mayo. But overall, a cute place, an easy walk in and a good patio!

What a mistake! Our waiter was definitely on some sort of stimulent drug. He tried to rush us to order then didn't come back for a long time. We place the order and our food took around 45 min to an hour to get to our table. The waiter came to the table right when the food was dropped off before I could even take a bite. He never came back to the table to check on us. I got the steak frites (medium rare) and the steak was cold to the touch and raw inside. It was so gross that I couldn't eat any of it and told the bus boy to take it off my bill when he came to take our plates. He asked me if I wanted it wrapped up as it was completely untouched and I was like no, thanks. The frites were some dehydrated potato shoe string thing that was extremely over salted and inconsistent texture. Some were crispy and some were soggy. You have to buy bread (there are 2 options) at around $15 each. Luckily there are a ton of better restaurants in the area to get a good meal with decent service.
