Decided we would hit the Fulton Market area and landed at Bandit. Was lucky to find street parking just a few storefronts away. Sat at the bar, it was not a 3-digit heat wave day and the front windows were all open, so it was confortable. Started with Jose Cuervo traditional margaritas which were refreshing. I had the chicken lettuce wraps which were really good. The lettuce was fresh and crisp, the peanut sauce had a little bit of zing and the chicken salad was very tasty. Bandit is a solid option if you're looking for bar food with the vibes. They had a pretty good playlist going, and even though we visited during Taste of Randolph, they were not too busy. Our table started with the mozzarella sticks which I enjoyed, but the others didn't due to the very thin tempura batter. The entrees we felt 50/50 on. I did the chicken gyro which had a nice flavor, however felt like it was mostly pita bread and fries. For the price I would have expected a bit more filling. They also have a full bar but were unable to make a Hugo spritz which seems like a miss, especially during the summer. Overall we will return, but it isn't high on the priority list. read more

I love Bandit! Great location in the west loop. I love the atmosphere. It has 2 levels with the top level that can turn into a club during the weekend. My favorite part of bandit is the bathrooms which are decorated with pictures of Britney Spears plastered all over and also Justin Timberlake. There is also one that has the spice girls but I have not seen that one yet. It's awesome they have $10 well drinks and a shot wheel you can spin and which ever shot you land on the bartender will make for you for just $5. I've also come here for brunch during the weekend when they have $35 bottomless mimosas. The best bartender there is Nate! He is so attentive and nice. I can't wait to go back to Bandit! read more

From 90s hits to elevated bar food and a great patio, Bandit is a great spot to wind down after work or celebrate a weekend! We stopped by around 5pm during the week and it wasn't difficult to snag a spot. It's very festive inside and the patio is super nice, so this would be a great place to head to on a nice day. They have an excellent happy hour menu with drinks and appetizers nearly half off, which are pretty sizable. To drink, I opted for the rosé- it was ok, but I wouldn't order this again. We split the Nashville hot chicken tenders and the Lyra hummus. The chicken was super crispy with a delicious and slightly sweet yet spicy sauce. They were served with pancakes and cole slaw- all put together, the dish was an interesting twist on the classic chicken and waffles. The hummus was a bit watery, but the olive oil was of very good quality and I enjoyed the variety of crudites. The pita chips were freshly fried and extra crispy, but I think regular pita would've been nice to make it a bit more filling. Overall, I thought the portions were a good value for HH and enjoyed the vibe after a workday. Will be keeping this spot on the radar and am looking forward to trying more of the menu! read more

My friends and I were at Bandit last weekend to celebrate after party on St. Patty's. This place has amazing vibes and good music, always! They played a lot of Throwback hits on my recent visit which everyone really enjoyed! I've never been to Bandit and gotten disappointed. We ordered a couple of shots and Vodka soda for the night. They don't serve food and convert the entire space into a dancing club in the night. I've been here quite a few times by now! Bandit is a good place for drinks, brunch, and a fun time with friends. Bandit is a loud, vibrant spot for some good eats and cocktails. If you're from Chicago, it kind of reminds me of Happy Camper or Paradise Park. The bathroom is all decorated in Justin Timberlake's pictures (I love when fun restaurants do stuff like that) which was hilarious. I've been here for a night out (no food), another time for drinks and apps, and then for brunch. Each time was a good experience - I think I recommend coming here for drinks and shared plates with friends the most. Their bar bites and small plates are so yummy! They have a happy hour, too, from Monday-Thursday from 4pm - 6pm and Friday from 12pm - 3pm. They have fun shots for $11, too, which is pretty pricey in my opinion but they were good. The food isn't extraordinary or anything like that but it's above average bar food I'd say. The service here is usually quick and the staff is friendly. The interior is also very cute with lights everywhere. There's also TVs playing sports games if you want to go when there's a big game on.
