Went to Lia with some of my girls for girl dinner! Talk about a great deal. Huge portions and 3 courses plus a drink for $30. The vibe is moody which is fun for a girls night. My one note is that the server could have been a little more attentive! Would definitely recommend for a happy hour/girls night!

I loved my experience with the Girl Dinner here! Such a brilliant idea! Great way to fill a restaurant on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. They have a special Girl Dinner menu and it's such a great deal! For $30 you get an entree, side Caesar salad, a cocktail, and fries. (The fries are the only item you share.) I appreciate a girls night and my friend and I had a blast. The food is delicious! I loved everything I tried. I loved the Lemon Cacio e Pepe and I added mushrooms to it. My Hugo Spritz was very refreshing. The truffle fries were crispy and soooooooo good! The side Caesar was perfection. We ordered a few add ons too. The truffle whipped ricotta was a lovely appetizer and we loved our dessert as well. The carrot cake was super moist and flavorful, and the cream cheese frosting was divine. Excellent service from Brendan! He's awesome, attentive, personable, and hilarious! I love the bright and colorful design and decor! Swanky and fun! Witty signs and fun bathrooms. We had a lovely table by the window and it was perfect weather and we enjoyed the breeze. I'll gladly come here again and try more things. I had a fabulous evening!

The girl dinner deal is insane and so worth it!! Came with a group of 5 and we had the best time. I think there were 2 men in the whole restaurant on a Thursday night. Servers were kind as well. I got the dirty martini which was delicious and I got to choose blue cheese stuffed olives or regular (very important questions). We enjoyed the truffle fries for the table - they gave us 2 plates for the 5 of us and it was a lot!! The Caesar was good, and I realllyy enjoyed the spicy vodka pasta. Big portion, perfect spice level, and very rich! 2 of my friends are gluten free and they were able to get the pasta GF and the pizza! And the GF pizza was actually huge. We all had a really great time!

Came for the girl dinner and while a great deal (app, mains and a drink) the quality was just ok. Loved service by Brendan but drink service was uneven and he had to check on our drinks both rounds. The espresso martini wasn't very strong at all but the old fashioned I had next was better. Caesar salad was overdressed, fries were ok but could have been fried harder, the cacio was pretty bland and my friend barely touched her rigatoni. The decorate your own crappy cake dessert was fun and a good idea but the cake itself was so dry. Pretty packed for a Wednesday night and mostly women but vibes seemed fun. Don't know if I would go back though.

Came here for their Girl Dinner special that runs on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, and honestly, it's hard to beat the value. For $30, you get a Caesar salad, truffle fries to share, a pasta or pizza, and a drink. I ordered the vodka rigatoni with a lemon drop martini and really enjoyed the meal overall. The food came out pretty quickly, which was nice. The Caesar salad was solid, the truffle fries were hot and crispy, and while the vodka rigatoni could have been a little more flavorful, it was still enjoyable. The portions were generous too. Between the salad, fries, pasta, and drinks, I definitely left full. The lemon drop martini was good, and they also offer additional cocktails for $15. We definitely took advantage of that. The drinks were cute, strong, and well-made. Service was friendly throughout the night. We were seated by the windows, and when it started getting chilly outside, our server was quick to close them for us. Another unexpected bonus was that they were playing Love Island, which made for a fun atmosphere while we ate and drank.

Lia Tavern started doing girl dinner menu available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. It's actually a great deal, so definitely make a reservation because every single seat in the restaurant was full. For $30, you get to choose a drink, fries for the table, a caesar salad, and choose a main dish (pasta or pizza). That's so much food! It was pretty good too. The salad was a good portion sized and I liked the way they sliced the croutons. The sauce for the fries was yummy, and I really liked the pasta. Even though they were super busy, the waiter was quick and attentive. They had a ton of searing and we got lucky to be seated right next to a window. They were even playing sex and the city on the tvs - really leaning into the girl dinner aesthetic!

Came here for the Girl Dinner. When you approach the spot it's kind of a lowkey entrance. We sat by the open window which was kind of nice. I want to come back for Hot Girl Dinner & give them another try because the first time had its ups and downs. The drink was okay but I had something swimming in my cup so I had to get it replaced. In those instances I don't expect anything free but I at least expect the best service after that! Our server didn't check up on us after a while unfortunately. The fries & cacio pepe were pretty good! The pizza was just okay - lacked depth. The salad was OLD and we can't be playing around with lettuce during these times iykyk.

This was such a fun girls' night! The $30 girls dinner is a fun reason to get the hang together. We enjoyed cocktails, truffle fries, Caesar salad, and lemon cacio e pepe. Heads up it's $10 to add grilled chicken to your pasta. Shout out to Brendan for being a great server! Reservations recommended because this is a popular event! Heard the menu is updating at the end of July.

Cam here for the spicy girl dinner and it was such a good time!!! The ambiance was dimly lit and romantic, and the service was quick and attentive!

I'm still thinking about that Malört Spirit cocktail. I wish I could copy and paste this restaurant where I live (STL). I'm obsessed with everything about this place including the bartenders, waiters (divas), and decor. Oh and the food slapped. 10s all around...*sigh..until next time!

The girl dinner for $30 was a great deal - I got the hugo spritz, caesar salad, truffle fries (for the table), and the vodka rigatoni! The food was pretty solid but not the best I've had. Again, for that price I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. Service was quick and we were in and out within the hour!

Came here for the girl dinner which was such an incredible deal. I got a Hugo spritz which was perfection then we started with Caesar salad and truffle fries. Both so good! For my entree I got the lemon Cacio e Pepe which I love the type of pasta they used. It wasn't very lemony but I still enjoyed it. The interior of this place is so cute I love the ambiance. I will say, we got here at 5pm, when they open, for the girl dinner and there were already a few people already waiting at the door! We got bar seating and the restaurant filled up pretty fast. Definitely make a reservation if you can

Just went for a $30 Girl Dinner with my cousins and it was a success! For $30 we got a choice of Martini or Spritz, a Caesar salad, Truffle Fries & either a Lemon Cacio de Pepe, Prosciutto Pizza or Spicy Vodka Rigatoni. For $30 it was so worth it, it was insanely delicious! The inside was beautiful and intimate and our waitress was sweet & attentive! The service started off a little slow but they made it up at the end, will definitely be back again!

All the premier dinners come with salad, cheese, fondue, and the chocolate fondue - You are just choosing what protein you would like. The Prince Geja combination has a little bit of everything. However, we most liked the seafood which includes lobster and the scallops were to die for! Also the beef also cooks well. Favorite dipping sauce included the pimento mayo, chimichurri, and garlic butter. The cheese fondue is quite rich and the bread is quite filling so maybe get as much cheese as you can on each piece of bread. The chocolate fondue, I think is actually the best course as the Belgium chocolate melts so well and has a decadent but not overly sweet flavor. It pairs well with all that is provided for dipping, which includes poundcake, rice Krispies, strawberries. They also have some liquor that they light on fire at first so you can roast the marshmallows. It is such a well thought out experience. Service flows very well from two waiters who take your order set up your fondue pots for each course, but be prepared to spend at least 2 hours on this experience. Check out the Groupon but also I read a review that they just tack on the extra $50 so it's not really too much of a savings. Not sure if this is true.

The truffle-parmesan fries: We couldn't tell if they were too salty or just salty enough, but somehow we couldn't stop eating them! I ordered the baby wedge salad with chicken, and while the chicken looked small at first, it ended up being a large enough portion to last the salad. I came here with three others and we all ordered different things from the brunch menu along with a few drinks. The atmosphere here is open, modern, and pretty eye catching, we all heard a few negative comments about brunch here and rather than just taking words of advice we came anyways. To be honest we should've went elsewhere, the only thing about the food that actually seemed to have any flavor was the fries and even they were a little salty like my wallet when we left LOL The Jumbo (not so much) Lump Crab Benedict at $25 was honestly boring lacking any flavor also it didn't even come with potatoes I ended up sharing my Lincoln Park Turkey Club that was good but even it was pretty basic at $21, the Burger at $21 literally looked like something off the kids menu the bun was bigger than the patty LOL and the Blackened Chicken Caesar at $19 was more like an appetizer size and the chicken at least it was juicy not dry. Other reviews about brunch here seem to be about the same and honestly I think it's funny they don't even try to elevate their food when so many say about the same things. I think the only reason why people come to this place is 1. It's located in Lincoln Park and 2. that makes it a trendy spot to eat. So why bother fixing anything when it's just trendy and flavorless Their brunch is mediocre but apparently dinner is where it's at. However after the experience with brunch I'm not even sure I would even go back. Come here for the staff eat at your own expense maybe your food will have flavor or not but honestly do what you want and keep it trendy

I really wanted to like it; this was a nine-year anniversary dinner. Service was really attentive and friendly and I did appreciate that they brought out specific utensils for me as a left-handed person, never saw that before! The restaurant felt a bit bare and sterile, I think I was maybe expecting a little more decor on the table for a Michelin star restaurant. To echo several of the reviews below, the salad was awkward to share and scanty, the soup was good but the bread served with it felt like an afterthought, the sturgeon wasn't anything special though the sauce was quite good, and we are pretty sure the cut of beef was not wagyu or if it was it was not cooked the right way. The beef was the most disappointing part, I couldn't even chew through all of it. The add-ons were the best part - pasta was great and our dessert was delicious. But the rest of the meal was unfortunately mediocre. Hoping that others have a different experience with the regular menu!

I love that the tables are widely spaced out so you don't feel like you're on top of another party. I loved the bowls everything was served in, and the silverware was unique. I don't think anything blew me away like I was expecting which was disappointing. We had the caviar supplement, which they accidentally gave us two of (amazing), which was good but also didn't blow me away. I wasn't the biggest fan of the flavors of the soup but that's probably a personal problem. The sturgeon and wagyu were alright. The music is also appropriate and plays at the perfect volume to be pleasant without forcing one to raise their voice. I tried the Green Daisy and a House Old Fashioned. The Green Daisy was boozy and had some herbaceous notes. A little tartness and a little sweetness helped balance the drink out and make for a phenomenal sipper. I loved the creativity with this one!
