Carpet and club chair cleaned for 105 and no up charge. Looks good so far. Only thing is as guys were packing up machine a cock roach came running out of machine . Luck I was there and killed it. I have no bugs in my high rise. I called and the said a manager would call back in 24 hours. I wonder where machines are stored and night and how often the steam machine itself is cleaned.? I had Stanley steamer come out to clean 2 of my bedrooms. They arrived on time they were very nice. I had dragged some of the furniture out of my master so they could clean ithough they could clean it better.. They offered to move move the remaining 3 pieces out of the way the way to clean. I agreed and and came back a little later to see progress And found my furniture on top of my clean mattress!!! I was so shocked I could not believe they did this. There were a couple of communication issues with this job: I confirmed the day and time slot via email, but I was not put on the books. If I had not contacted them the day of the scheduled cleaning to confirm, they would not have come. Also I confirmed via email and via phone conversation as the techs were headed over that I was not getting the added on "protection" for the carpet, yet it was still on my invoice. The guys that did my job were cordial and did everything they could to make me happy. Also the manager Nate was very understanding when I was confused about an issue with the job. I had a small amount of water in my condo's carpet from a rain leak in one room. The smell indicated that I needed to do something quickly to avoid mold or mildew. I called Stanley Steemer, and told them the problem. They arrived in less than an hour, and told me the cost would be "around" $600. Altho this was an outrageous amount, I had them do the job for fear of the mold. The room was only 10x12, and only 25% was wet. They vacuumed the water out of the carpet in 15 minutes, and then told me the cost would be $700! When I protested, they reduced it to $600. The upshot is this: If you need the job done ASAP, they will respond quickly. But, be prepared to pay a stiff price. This is why I only gave them 3 stars. To be fair, after 3 days of running their fan in the room, the smell was gone, and has not returned. read more

Stanley Steamer Air Duct cleaning is one of the cheapest in town, and the cliché so applies; you get what you pay for. I had two guys come out mid-March. The first thing one if them wanted to do was cut through the sheetrock to remove the duct cover. I insisted he remove the screw instead! Despite promises given when I called that they techs would check the compressor coils and clean the return unit under the filter, they simply and only vacuumed the ducts. Eventually only one guy was working and I found the other tech downstairs sitting on the back of their truck on his phone surfing or texting. I had to tell him to come back to help finish the job. This was such a waste of money and a big disappointment. I will wait until next fall and try to find a company that will do the job I want and get a written, instead of a verbal, quote of what they promise to do. Stanley Steamer rides on its laurels, but they do not produce. Stay away. I do not recommend. read more

DO NOT USE STANLEY STEEMER OF DELRAY BEACH. We had a pipe burst that caused severe water damage throughout our townhome and we brought in Stanley Steemer to dry it out. They came out right away and provided an estimate of $8-10K. We said OK because we had to move fast. Our home is small and the scope of the work was readily apparent from the beginning. About a day in, after all the equipment was up and running, they told us the amount was actually going to be $14K and they had my husband sign for that amount. We had no other option so we signed. A day or two after they completed the job, after testing everywhere, they confirmed that the home was dry and they were done. We started renovations (replacing floors, walls and ceilings) immediately. The contractors discovered that floor moldings in the laundry room and a wooden window seat in a bedroom were not removed (all other floor moldings and wet wood had been) - and when they removed the wood they found significant mold underneath. The contractor charged us an additional $5K to remediate the mold. No other mold was found anywhere else. As all this was going on, Stanley Steemer approached our insurance company with a bill for $21K. We had never seen anything more than the $14K my husband had signed for! The insurance company had paid us directly so now Stanley Steemer came to us - with the $21K bill! Their behavior has been nothing short of bullying us into payment. Unreliable, unprofessional, unprepared I made arrangements for Stanley Steemer of Delray to clean carpets in two bedrooms of my condo. They gave me a window of 2-5 but came just after 5 when my condo would not let them in. And I had a friend staying at the condo waiting the 3 hours for them. Unreliable! So we rescheduled for another day. They showed up during the right time, however they DIDN'T HAVE THE RIGHT EQUIPMENT?! WHAT?! Again, my friend was at the condo waiting for them. Unprepared! I was going to give up, but I needed my carpets clean before guests arrived. So when they offered my friend a 10% discount, I relented and we scheduled once again. She asked if we could be first on the list - a courtesy I thought we should be afforded since they screwed up 2 times! But they said no. And this time, shortly before the timeframe was up, they called to say that they would not be coming since they needed to stay later at another client's. Unprofessional! 3 misses! And no one even called me personally. I have used Stanley Steemer in CT and they were very reliable and professional, but this franchise is clearly not up to par. Stanley Steemer of South Florida came to our home to "clean" the carpets. Apparently, we were the first customers that received service that day, as the crew came from Port St. Lucie. When the service technicians left the carpets were very wet; our socks were soaking wet. The crew consisted of Jerard English, and Alejandro Pereyra. Supposedly, Jerard was a water remediation specialist. Although we called the Stanley Steemer office to complain about the wet carpets (still wet 6 hours later) , we were told a crew would not be able to come back that day. Sadly, because of the water that collected on the window seat in our bedroom, our cat Em me, ruptured her bladder as she slipped and fell off the window seat. Em had over $8,000 in surgeries and follow-up care, but because Em was a feline and not a human, Mike Fazzari (PSL Stanley Steemer franchise owner/operator, 772-370-5997) did not feel his company was responsible and was unwilling to take ownership for Em me's medical care. Eventually, after a few phone calls, Mike Fazzari came to our home to inspect our carpets. Mike admitted the carpet had several areas where Stanley Steemer applied cleaning concentrates that oxidized because they remained wet for too long a period and now they are permanently set. Mike said he would be willing, at no charge, to send a crew to the house whereby he would personally supervise the cleaning and emphasized he would get the carpets and stairs clean and really dry. We decided to sue Stanley Steemer of South Florida for the costs of the damaged carpet and the veterinary bills, CASE NO.: 312018CC000727, and their insurance company said they would settle the matter for $2,500. I even wrote a letter to the CEO of Stanley Steemer, Wesley C. Bates and he never responded; it appears he is not concerned about the reputation of his father's company. Eventually, we dropped the suit as it was emotionally draining for myself and my wife; not to mention Stanley Steemer's attorneys threatened to file sanctions against our attorney and ourselves. My advice is stay away from this company and remember you get what you pay for. Stanley Steemer is not the same company that my grandmother used to swear by, God rest her soul. I hope this will help prevent headaches and heartache for anyone considering Stanley Steemer of South Florida. It is a shame that a company can come into your home with complete disregard for your property and loved ones without any remorse or consequences for their actions. read more

Would never use again. I got a quote for $139.75 and when the technician got there he told me it was going to be $155.00 because I had one more stair then I had told them. I called Stanley Steemer and a stair is $3.88. Not sure why he was trying to charge me an extra $15. Pricing scams... I think the techs who come out are incentivized to raise the rates... at the end of cleaning my rug I was told it was wool because it had a distinctive odor of "wet dog". I do not believe it was wool nor did I smell "wet dog". Nothing changed in the way my rug was treated other than instead of me paying 200$+ I was charged double!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! We used them in the past (twice)...it must be under new ownership or something. We always get the same service (steam clean our marble kitchen floor, a hallway and two tile bathrooms) - so we know how much (ballpark) it's going to cost. After making the appointment and getting the verbal quote - this trip was going to cost us an extra $10 due to a recent change in their system - it now charges a service charge each visit. No biggie! When the workers showed up, they tried to tell us the area was larger than expected and wanted to charge us -- DOUBLE -- the quote. I asked them to look up our account because they've been here before and measured the area after the first appointment. These workers must make extra $$$ for all up-charges because they were willing to "negotiate" - - - but my husband was fuming (after moving furniture, plants, wine fridge all AM, who could blame him) he refused to play ball. I just want to pay a compliment to this location. I had a gentleman Walter show up on time and by himself. He had a number of rugs to do as well as the staircase. He was kind and considerate and very careful throughout my home. He was in his mask and coverings and just a very kind person with great manners and who has done a wonderful job. I made an appointment for Carpet Cleaning in the rental house we were moving out of. I made the appointment through the website on May 13th, for cleaning on the 20th. It was confirmed by email. I was informed that I would be called 45 - 30 minutes prior to coming to my house. Anyway, on the 20th I was in this vacant house waiting, my appointment was between 2pm and 5pm. At 435pm, I called the 888 number and spoke with the nicest girl every. HOWEVER, they told me that they didn't know how much longer it would be and I would get a call 45 minutes prior to the appointment. At 435 they were already beyond late when they were supposed to show up between 2 - 5. I was told I had to wait, that they didn't know when they would show up. But if I wanted, I could also leave when they got there and I would have to leave a credit card. I cancelled the appointment because she was unable to provide me with a time frame. and I refuse to leave strangers in the house without actually seeing how they do the work, and just giving my credit card, because now I was concerned they would just screw it up. If you cant have someone inform your waiting customers that you will be late, how can I trust you will actually do the job correctly? Also, the location being understaffed is not MY problem, then you shouldn't have confirmed the appointment, or a call should've been received by me because they were running late. Which of course did not happen. So now I have find another company to come out and clean the carpet that I have reserved to this company and I will NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN. I called Stanley Steamer located at 2085 S Congress Ave in Delray Beach Florida on Feb 20 2018 to set an appointment for technicians to come to my home and clean 4 air ducts and then I was promised a free service treatment. The price I was quoted was about the same as what I received from other companies. I agreed to the price appointment was set for the next Tuesday Feb 27 2018 between the hours of 8am to 1pm. JEffrey and Joseph showed up at 915 am and yes I have the proof. They began working soon after I showed them where the 4 air ducts I needed cleaning were. I was watching TV and using the internet while the techs were here, At 10.00 am they said they were done and asked for the payment of 160.00. I gave them a check and they left. I received an emailed receipt at 10.01am for the 160.00. In the process I quickly learned that they stole my cable box and wires and did a piss poor job and an incomplete air duct cleaning job, At 10.10 my internet and tv went out and I first thought that something was not connected properly so I restarted my computer and the tv and still nothing. I then went to the bedroom to check on the connections and notice my cable box was gone, At 10.25 am I called my husband who came straight home. I called Police and reported the theft to Stanley Steamer who believed the lies that the technicians told. I also made a complaint on pissed consumer and received the following response from one of their employees Scott. I know it was Scott because part of the response listed below was recorded on my voice mail. . "Why on earth would technitions steal a cable box? They werent looking for your cable box in fact they didnt even notice it because its worthless just like you. Take your factless complaint and throw it off a cliff..and take yourself with it!" Another thing I noticed on yelp was Darryl from the company only replied to positive compliments and would not try to resolve the negative. I've used this Stanley Steemer location several times. They have flexible hours to choose from when scheduling them to come out. We had our white linen sofa cleaned and a mattress cleaned. They were really thorough. We were happy with the way they looked afterwards. They even offered a redo if the stains resurfaced once the furniture dried. Free of charge. Extremely professional. I have been using Stanley Steemer for several years to clean my carpets and my tile grout. On this latest occasion, my miniature Schnauzer had gotten sick and made a terrible mess on my dining room carpet. You name it, he did it. In any event Josh and Bob came to my house on Monday morning and cleaned my light beige carpet so thoroughly that you would never know there had been a problem. They also deodorized the room. The next day, my wife who has an extremely sensitive sense of smell said that she still smelled odor in the dining room. When Stanley Steemer called the next day to see how the job turned out, she told them of the odor problem. They sent two people back within 1/2 hour to completely re-spray the deodorizer at no additional charge. I don't know what more someone could ask for in the way of service. Contacted the office and was given a quote based on square footage of my condo unit by the rep of $335. The rep also explained that "small hallways are included in the price". When the tech arrived he said a bumpout in my living area "counted as a separate room". I have a living/dining combination area that he counted as 2 rooms. The tech stated the total for the job would be over $500. We explained we were given a price based on square footage and that was what we were willing to pay. He begrudgingly agreed to the originally quoted price, and we left him to his work. When he was done, he presented us with a bill of $372, stating that he charged $47 for each hallway. (The hallways are 2'Wx5'L and they had to go through them to get to the rooms.) Its not a matter of the small increase in cost, but a matter of principal. In the future, we'll be sure to use a small, locally owned business. read more

If I could give negative Stars I would. This Company is a horrible Floor Cleaning Company. STAY AWAY!!! Save your money!! Tiles floors were still stained and dirty when work was complete. I got out my magic eraser and used it on the tile they had just cleaned and the dirt readily came off. I had them clean a wool area carpet and they did not pretreat any stains. Just used steam and no cleaning product. Worse than before. I called them and they sent the same guy back out who said he could not do any better with their eco-friendly products. No matter what time they tell you they are coming they will always tell you that something broke down or they are running behind, or couldn't find a parking space. I made two separate appointments with them. The first time I waited four hours for them to show and they arrive and said they can't work today.
