Needed deep cleaning fast and wanted to use a local company. Bottom line, very pleased with them. Clarified what is included, scheduled, paid half, they showed up on time & did an amazing job. Paid attn detail & extremely thorough. Really couldn't have asked for more in a cleaning service. Recommend without reservation. Thx Carvalhos for your service last wknd. David read more

Set up an appointment, waited for them to show. No call, no show. I called to see where they were and they said the online system doesn't always work properly and they can reschedule. Probably great if you're retired and don't have anything else to do. If you value your time go somewhere else. read more

Carvalhos sent two ppl to clean our townhome who seemed to be ad hoc ppl hired to do my job. I didn't get the impression that they represented Carvalhos. For the price, my wife was very disappointed with the quality of the cleaning. The floors still had many spots that had to be manually wiped afterwards, the kitchen cabinets were not wiped down and the stainless steel appliances were at best streaky and had to be given another go-over by us. There are so many cleaner service choices out there, I don't think I will be using Carvalhos again. read more

*** Updated to add screenshots of them trying to increase BEFORE starting the cleaning . DO NKT TRUST THIS COMPANY THEY DID THE SAME TO MY FRIEND ** THE CLEANER WAS GREAT ! It's their business practices that needs to be corrected I want to start by being fair. The actual cleaner did a great job. My home looked good, my son was happy, and the deep cleaning allowed me to maintain things for weeks afterward. For the quality of the cleaning itself, I was satisfied. Unfortunately, the issue was how pricing and communication were handled, which is why I did not return. Before booking, I spent about 30 minutes on the phone discussing my home in detail and sent multiple videos of the property, including a video taken the morning of the appointment as I was leaving. Based on that full and accurate information, I was quoted the following rates: * $170 for the first deep cleaning * $90 bi-weekly standard cleaning * $100 every three weeks On the morning of my appointment, I received a message attempting to increase the price, claiming the home was "not what it looked like in the videos." This was not true. The videos were current, accurate, and sent specifically to avoid any surprises. After the service, I later received communication implying that the original price was "honored" and presenting significantly higher rates (for example, $250 for a deep cleaning and $120-$140 for standard cleanings). This implied that I had misrepresented my home, which I found offensive. The cleaner also arrived late (scheduled for 9:00 a.m., arrived closer to 10:00-10:15 a.m. per my Ring camera), but I did not make an issue of it at the time because I was happy with the work and even tipped. What ultimately confirmed my decision not to return is that I later learned both a person I personally referred and a separate friend had very similar experience recently as of Dec 2025 was quoted a price upfront and later faced additional charges or price changes that were not part of the original discussion. This strongly suggests that what I experienced was not an isolated situation. Overall, while the cleaning itself was good, the inconsistent pricing, last-minute changes, and implications of dishonesty are why I would not recommend this company. Transparency and consistency in pricing matter. Do better read more

Excellent Cleaning with friendly, cooperative and efficient team member on job site. Because they keep changing their rate quotes and deviating from an agreed-upon arrangement (look at the many reviews stating the same manipulative business practices), they seem to be better suited (from an administrative viewpoint) for dealing with business projects, rather than residential. I will not be using their service again (though I would hire the employee in a minute if she were an independent!) read more

Adriane was very reassuring about her company and staff. I used Jessie today and she was fabulous to the point where I scheduled my next cleaning with her. It was great that she was on time to start cleaning my home. I'm very pleased how my home looks. I won't hesitate to recommend this company to other people and my friends. read more

I was never t present when they cleaned. There were streaks on windows, glass table. Floor barely cleaned. Very expensive and not friendly.

Overall, a very poor experience and terrible customer service. To start with, when the cleaner arrived, I asked her to take her shoes off. She said no and that it was hazard. I've had previous cleaning companies who have taken their shoes off for me but fine. I asked if she could wear shoe booties then and she said she didn't have any and if I wanted her to wear them, I would need to provide them next time. I found that strange because I feel that is something a cleaning company would provide. My last cleaner started bringing them after his first time coming over. When I brought this up to the owner after this, she said that she would talk to her employee because the company always provides the shoe covers. So basically the employee had lied to me. All together, the cleaner was very fast. She was probably in and out in a little over an hour. I've had precious companies send 2-3 people and take 3-3.5 hours to clean and you could tell they were actually cleaning. She was very quick and was doing a very superficial cleaning on everything. I saw her just brush her swifter duster over things quickly and then move on. I'm not sure what she used to mop the floor but it didn't feel or look clean nor did the actual overall place smell clean. Outside on the patio, I think all she did was vacuum the floor. There are two tables out there and both were obviously not wiped down (I've attached the pictures). When I told all this to the owner, she made the comment about the shoe covers (as I mentioned above) and then explained that her employee knows what she is doing and that 98% of her customers are satisfied (I found that quite condescending). Not once did she mentioned the physical pictures I added that showed dirty tables. She then said she would send someone to redo it. I told her that I felt she was condescending and she didn't even address any of my points and that no I didn't want someone to come back and redo it when she's not even acknowledging the issues. She then again said she wanted to send someone "But you're not accepting it, that's strange... but I get your point... you want a free clean, right?" which I found EXTREMEMLY rude because never at one point did I ask for a free cleaning. But honestly, how could I ask for a free cleaning when nothing was cleaned in the first place? I wanted her to acknowledge the poor job that was done and the legit points I was making. *I will not continue to go back and forth in the comments like the owner wants to but I will say a few things. It was not 3 hours because I am alerted when someone comes through our gate and I called my bf when she left. I never left the house because I work from home so I'm not sure what they are talking about when they mention the porch was cleaned when i wasn't home. Lastly, those pictures were taken immediately after the cleaner left when i was on the phone with my boyfriend going over the cleaning, not hours later. So while yes, it was offered for someone to come back and fix things, there still was never a "yes, you are right, they did not wipe down xyz and didn't do as great of a job as she should have", it has just been defensive responses since the start and THAT is why I posted my review, so people understand who they are working with. read more

Bad attitude from owner. Never returned call to schedule service. Would not recommend. Edit to add- this call was made in July of 2024 and was not done through Yelp app. Called to schedule a service after initially speaking and getting a price. Left message and never heard back. Her response to my review is completely false and incorrect. I maintain my opinion that I do not recommend this company. read more

We've been using Carvalho's Cleaning monthly for a year now and we are extremely satisfied with their work. The staff is always prompt, friendly, and thorough. These people say their reputation is A++++ In reality they waste time negotiating more than they are ready to deliver. We wanted to hire them to clean 2 baths + kitchen (nothing else) offered $180 yet , they began arguing if they should or shouldn't wipe inside the cabinets ( must be too hard to do of a job for them) because that would be another type of cleaning etc etc.. we are talking about 200SF at most of a space... little dramatic over a small task. read more

We recently had Carvalho's Cleaning come by to clean all of our windows and sliding doors. First off I have to say I was impressed by their customer service professionalism and dedication. I reached out for a quote via Yelp about 3 weeks ago and we had a long back and forth about the job parameters, price estimate and available dates. Regardless of how long it took me to reply, they always got back to me quickly and in a kind and polite manner. As a person who often deals with aloof and lazy customer service representatives, I really appreciated that. As for the cleaning, they did an amazing job and got the windows into really great shape. The technician worked hard and was at our place for around 3 hours. When he left, everything squeaky clean, even the tracks of our sliding doors, which really needed some serious attention. The price was competitive and i liked the fact that they were available the in just a day or two. Most companies were not. Anyway, this was the best house care money I have spent in a long time. Five stars. Great experience. read more

I wanted to compliment this company on Dayane's cleaning and her work ethic. She was on time. She spent 3.5 hours and seemed to be vested in leaving our home in the best possible condition. We use Carvalho's 2x a month to do a full-house cleaning. They're always on time, and they're communicative on the rare occasions that there's a scheduling change. Same crew comes each time. Once again very satisfy and a very clean house courtesies of Carvalho's Cleaning. I found them on Yelp and be using the for the past few months. Every time the cleaner shows up on time and does a phenomenal cleaning of my home. I had the same cleaner "Daniela" the last couple of times, and she goes above and beyond with cleaning my home. Ask for Daniela if you want a clean house. Very friendly and does not rush on cleaning the house. If you are looking for a cleaning service for your home that will not break the bank and does a great job, then Carvalho's Cleaning is your company. read more

Best cleaning ever! Excellent communication Adriene set up the appointment for me, and I had to reschedule, and it was no problem.

This is the worst company ever... they priced a full service cleaning for $180 and when they showed up, mind you 1.5 hours late the little old lady they sent wanted more money. They only had to sweep, mop and dust a VACANT HOUSE (no bedrooms) and tried to jack the pice up. DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY... THEY ARE HORRIBLE. MaidPro is a much better choice. read more

Had my first cleaning today and I'm very happy with how thorough and quick Bruna was! Reasonably priced as well!

Team of three missed the key areas that make up a deep cleaning and the cost of one (blinds, baseboards, shelves, etc). Met with disgruntled attitude from staff and accusatory management.... until I sent pictures and video. Ended up doing it myself. If they had offered a free service next time I would have gave them another shot, but the they are unfortunately lacking customer service skills needed to build clientele. Update: it doesn't matter who I am. This was my experience with your company, not another. You're response demonstrated the attitude I mentioned. Update: Dropping another star for the continued accusatory tone of the management. You are speaking volumes to those seeing this with your reaction. read more

Unfortunately, I had an experience that was negative and similar to some of the other negative posts. I was quoted $150.00 for a deep clean (first visit) - they got there, said it would be $200.00 instead. I paid the extra $50.00, no issue. I was told thereafter, they would provide bi-weekly service for $100.00 per cleaning. The initial cleaning met my expectations. Two weeks passed and I heard nothing from them... I reached out and was told they lost a cleaner and they "will try to fit the place in one of our schedules". Five additional days pass and still nothing from them. I send them additional messages over yelp, call, and text them - no response. I asked that they refund me the extra $100.00 I paid for the first cleaning as all companies charge extra for the first time - no response. Attached Yelp communication log but also tried via telephone and text. No response to anything. read more

I am a new customer, having been with another local company that did a fine job...but just raised their rates a bit higher than I thought fair. I found Carvalho's Cleaning on line, spoke to the owner and gave them a try. I could not be more satisfied or happy with my decision. The "team" was here today for their second time. They arrive promptly, are very professional, thorough and efficient. You would expect a cleaning business to...well..."clean the condo". But the team from Carvalho's does these little "added touches." They take the last few sheets of toilet paper on the roll and make a "rose" for display. They fold the towels in a decorative fashion on the hanging rod. The blankets on the bed are folded in a similar fashion. It's like you live at the Ritz! Great company...great service...and at the lowest price in Boca. Well done Carvalho's Cleaning. read more
