Air Duct Aseptics advertises exceptional credentials and qualifications for their crew but we have…read morebeen disappointed with the overall quality of their work, the communication to the us/the customer, the management of the project and the prices. They were called to do a mold remediation and air duct cleaning. However, the owners of the company sent out sub-contractors without managing the end result of their work. When the crew came in the first day we asked them to use Ram Board protection paper on the floors that we had bought. They said that it would be ok and not to worry because the job would not cause any damage. They used some transparent plastic covers of their own but poorly laid out and this resulted in damaging the finish of the floor in several places. After a lot of back and forth they offered to find a technician to redo the finishing of the floors which was again done poorly to the degree that we wished to have kept the floor without repairing the finish damage. We ended up with a floor that is half shiny and half matte because the treatment of the floors was done in patches. The contractor they employed for the air-condition cleaning was the same one that repaired the drywall that had to come down and get replaced because of a mold issue. They definitely did not have the required skills to do drywalls because the end result was messy and rough. Besides these big problems everyday was a struggle to keep up with the lack of professionalism and thorough work that this project requires. We had to explicitly ask for refinements all along. On top of all that they overcharge every single part that was needed. As an example we asked to add ultra violet lights in the coil and they charged them $450 each and we found them in different stores for less than $200. I wound never recommend their services to anyone.

A second opinion by a licensed contractor contradicted most of Air Quality pictures were supposed…read moreto reveal. Mold levels were a small fraction of we were told. Mold levels were greatly exagerrated and some moisture issues were completely wrong. False positive readings of a moisture meter necessitated us taking down an entire wall that turned out to be bone dry. Pipes give moisture meters bad readings, Air Quality knew or should have known this. Our ductwork , according to the A/C, was the finest installation he'd ever seen. Air Quality led us to believe it was a toxic waste dump. DONT TRUST THESE PEOPLE. Facts : Mr Baranzani spent 4 hours in our house Mr Baranzani left us his business card Mr Branzani did not return our calls. Moisture meters do NOT detect mold. Moisture meters are inaccurate when walls have metal studs, nails, and wires. We were NOT advised of potential inaccuracies. We acted on his findings and needlessly spends hundreds of dollars demolishing a wall and now have to repair it. Mr Baranzani took dozens of pictures of his moisture meter readings in front of walls with metal pipes showing excessively high readings. Had we acted on his guesswork, we would be out thousands of dollars. The "possibility" of moisture is a worthless generalization. New Facts : 'Readings can vary" They didnt vary at the time of the inspection. This is what lawyers call " the appearance of impropriety"
