Alan initially came to the house to see what we specifically wanted done and provided an estimate later in the day. Two days later Alan's wife, Maria, and her crew, Lucy & Milene, spent 7 hours cleaning from top to bottom. Keep in mind that the house had no furniture in it. They cleaned areas we didn't even consider and took pictures before and during the process that they sent to us for our records. They even found and cleaned a ton of dog hair from the dishwasher drain. The master bedroom closet wire shelves had black caked on grime, when they were finished cleaning they looked new again. We had two ladies come to clean our condo a couple weeks ago. They spent just over an hour and a half here and charged $160, which I felt was a bit excessive given the amount of work that was done. It was also $20 more than the price we were quoted via text message, but overall they did a good job. My partner spoke with the owner and arranged bi-weekly cleanings at a slightly lower price. We asked that they come every other Thursday in the afternoon. Today, we found out less than 24 hours in advance that they can't come tomorrow afternoon and were told they would be here around 10-11am instead. This is not what we asked for, so we had to cancel. It's also the second time (out of 2) that we have had scheduling issues with this company. The first time we requested a morning cleaning and they said they had to come in the afternoon because we didn't confirm their phone call after already confirming via text message. Some of the other reviews indicate similar problems with scheduling, so we decided to go with another company that can accommodate our needs. read more

I recently hired Claire's Cleaning for a move-out cleaning and discussed my need to have my home cleaned within the week as I was traveling at the end of it. They agreed to my timeline. The day they were supposed to come I got a call that they were cancelling and did not receive an explanation other than Alan telling me he cannot control his girls. My rating is based solely on reliability and not performance as they never showed. I had decided on Claire's over another option as I had been told they could work with my timeline, that did not happen. In reply to your response below, I had mentioned I needed it done on that date as I was heading to NY on Friday so that would not work. I hired Claire for a deep clean of my 2x2 messy home with pets. She came the same day to provide a reasonable estimate and was punctual and professional the day of cleaning. I was overall pleased with their work but would probably rate closer to a 4.5 as I believe you can always improve. This is my first time using Claire's. I expected them to bring cleaning supplies, I supplied the cleaner. I read reviews and knew to provide paper towels and garbage bag...didn't know I was to supply mop, Pail, rags, sponge. I was told they would be here around 3 and they got here after 4. It messed up my timing to prepare dinner as they were still cleaning at 6:45. On the positive side, they did a great job cleaning the house. read more

I just feel that for the price (the other company offered to do more for less) they should have left the place spotless. Priscilla did an incredible job with the apartment. I have no complaints about the job she did. However, having the manager or whoever's in charge text me to tell my having clothes on my floor wasn't okay and that it took a lot of extra work to pick up my clothes is ridiculous.
