Dr. Lensky is amazing!!!! She came in to the office and told us to meet her there and we contacted her explaining her son had an eye injury. It was after 9 PM we were scared to death. She examined our sons and called ahead to the emergency room for us they be ready for us when we arrived. Again today we showed up at her office and my son was having trouble with his vision and the doctor was able to diagnose the problem within minutes she's truly a wonderful human being and cares deeply about her patients I recommend her highly 10 stars!!!!! I've been with Stanford Ranch Optometry for over 10 years. They always maintain the same level of care and intentionality, while continuously improving in their systems and practice. I've never had an issue with the staff and if there has ever been an issue with the products, or I just simply didn't like my choice of product once received, there has been an easy process to get it fixed. First off I was very happy that they were able to see us quickly (my husband's benefits are ending at the end of the month, so we wanted to be seen before they expired.) I saw Dr Lensky and found her to be very personable and knowledgeable. She explained every step of the exam clearly and in terms I could understand. After confirming my vision does not require correction, one of her staff members suggested I order sunglasses. Normally I wouldn't buy sunglasses from an optometrist office (I'm more of a Target sunglass girl), but she explained that the double coverage (between my husband's & my employers) would more than cover them, so I figured, why not? I used to go to Dr. Proiette when I lived in Roseville, but subsequently moved back to the Bay Area. I went to an Optometrist in the City who gave me a whacko prescription that I did not wear. A year later I drove back out to Roseville to Dr. Proiette to fix it. He explained to me that my eyes had changed a bit, but not as overcorrected as the prescription. I realized that it makes a difference who you go to when getting an eyeglass prescription, and despite the 130 or so miles it takes to drive to Stanford Ranch Optometry, I will do it. I would give more stars if I could. Best optometrist I've ever had. Dr. Lensky is professional, personable, thorough and efficient. Her office has state of the art diagnostic tools to evalutate your eyes. She takes the time to get the proper prescription and is great at educating you about your eyes. She lets you try different contacts to find the right fit before ordering. Two years ago she diagnosed a cataract that was in need of fixing and did what was needed to coordinate the surgery with Kaiser. She was very informative and helped me understand why I could no longer wear glasses because of the surgery. I always leave her office feeling like a VIP. read more
