Good selection on the menu! The eggs were a little Dry and the bacon was somewhat chewy - I would pass on that next time. It's very cute inside and busy and the staff was kind, but definitely understaffed. Would love to seem some higher quality food but nice new place! read more

Ambiance: 4 Service: 3.5 Food: 3 The raised terrace creates separation from the busy streets, making it the best place to dine with my fur babies. The waitstaff was very friendly and accommodating even brought water for my dogs before asked. But food came out very late (expected as it was a packed Sunday morning) and food was good, not excellent, can improve on the partly burnt hash browns and pancake was a little dry. read more

We love going to this restaurant for breakfast. The interior is modern and pretty and the service is excellent. Daniella and the staff are always super friendly and remember us by name. I recommend the green goddess smoothie and the blueberry wheat germ pancake and Gary loves the huevos rancheros with poached eggs. They are very accommodating with special requests. read more

The ambience is great! Very chill place to get a nice brunch! The staff is polite and helpful. The food tastes great! I had the Mexican three egg omelet and it was really good along with the salsa that came with it. The "fresh orange juice" tasted like it came from a box. Would visit again! read more

Stopped by Stacks in Morgan Hill for brunch today. We tried the Nutella latte, which sounded better than it tasted--decent but nothing special, 3.5/5. The vanilla latte was about the same, nice enough but not particularly memorable, 3.5/5. My boyfriend had the Niman burger from the lunch menu and rated it a 4/5--good quality, well-cooked, but not the best he's had. I went for the chocolate chip pancakes, and they were definitely the highlight--fluffy, rich, 4.5/5. Overall, a solid spot for brunch. Nothing mind-blowing, but worth a visit if you're in the area. read more

Food is great! The carnitas pancakes are great and overall the atmosphere is good. Unfortunately, the service was horrible. Our waiter was so disinterested in what she was doing. She didn't have a name tag on so I couldn't tell you her name but she has long black hair. In order to have a client experience, they should remove her from the floor. read more

Definitely my go-to place on weekends. The food is the best quality in town, but doesn't compare to the service. Special recognition for the manager, Daniela, and the hostess, Kim. Both are kind and professional. Their welcoming nature is reason alone to visit Stacks-Morgan Hill. Two servers are great also; Nate and Sam. Both are always moving, but never too busy to say hello. Super surprise! Wanted to try this new place (although hesitantly since I was underwhelmed a couple of times with the Campbell Stacks), so glad that I did. Ambience either inside or outside is very pleasant. Service is outstanding (at least it was w/our waitress Ana). And the food was abundantly portioned and fully seasoned. Some examples of the past paragraph are; a bagel comes with the oatmeal!!, the turkey bacon is huge/4 piece/and so not typically flavorless as turkey bacon by nature is!!, the potatoes that are a cross between hash browns and country potatoes are flavorful!! The coffee although $4 is FRESH and you get your own pot left at your table for refills!!, and the $2.50 up charge for 100% pure maple syrup as opposed to the regular corn syrup standard alternative is worth every penny if you choose that option. Yolked charged $2.99 for 100% maple syrup but people didn't bitch much about that because it was an option. Unfortunately Stacks causes it to appear on their menu that you have to pay for your syrup. If you get what you pay for is a standard that you abide by, then this quality and high detailed breakfast establishment will be worth their prices to you. read more

The Venue is very nice, and well kept. I ordered the Shrimp Omelet it was very tasty. Food was fresh, seating was comfy. Staff was very attentive and very prompt, we were seated immediately. Staff is awesome. Location great. The cost for food is a bit ridiculous to me for what you get. My kids got a pair of waffles ($15 each) off the kids menu and a juice (4.50). I got the corn beef hash and eggs ($21) and it didn't seem like much food when I looked down at it. I ate it all and slightly felt satisfied but not really full which may be good for my health but you're not paying $21 to just feel ok. You should feel stuffed for breakfast at that price. It was over $65 bucks with a tip. I wasn't happy with the pricing for what you get. It's too bad because historically Stacks has been the place to be. The hostess was soooo helpful. We came for a Saturday brunch and it wasn't crowded. She helped us set up a table for our 9 person party and brought over umbrellas to give us shade. Good hosts/hostesses who go above and beyond are rare- she's one of them! The food was pretty good. I got the veggie omelet and my husband got the farmers breakfast. I'm not sure what the rest of the party got. I know they got mimosas and asked for extra orange juice as they were mostly alcohol. The ambiance was perfect for a weekend brunch- sitting outside in the sun. The bus stop is right there though and it seems like people smoke while waiting for it so that stunk, literally. This is an excellent brunch spot for families. The service, food, and beverages were all delicious! My grandchildren loved the chicken and waffles. My rating system is a possible star for: food, drinks, service, ambiance, and pricing. Food: 1 star. We've been here 4 times now (it's a new weekly tradition) and the food is consistently phenomenal. My go to is a classic egg breakfast, but we've tried and loved their fruit crepes, carnitas pancakes, and chicken and waffles. The real star here is their POTATOES. So much flavor and seasoning, perfectly cooked, and a little punch of onion. Absolutely amazing. Drinks: 1 star. Finally a place in Morgan Hill that does a good mimosa! We just moved here in January, and I can't believe how bad the mimosas have been. Even at a place literally called Mimosas, nothing but sad, flat mimosas. Stacks has yet to disappoint. My husband always gets coffee and they leave a hot fresh pot on every table. Service: 1 star. Service is flawless. Fast and friendly. We especially love the guy who had a pack of stickers in his apron that he offered as a motivating reinforcer if our son did a good job on his breakfast. Our 3-year-old did great and earned an Avenger Sticker which he thoroughly enjoyed. So thoughtful. The manager is always making his rounds and already seems to recognize us, which gives it that personal element that makes you want to be a regular. Ambiance: 1 star. Brand new, clean, and spacious spot. Pricing: 1 star. The prices here are fantastic, especially when compared to Mimosas and Yolked. Then when considering how high quality the food and drinks are here: it's an absolute steal. I don't want breakfast anywhere else in MH. read more

I enjoy coming here because every time I come to stacks I get great service and it has an awesome atmosphere full of friendly people and delicious food! We've been to the original Stacks in Burlingame, also the one in Campbell. MH Stacks still needs to iron out some stuff but the food is pretty good just what we're used to. The crab omelette was superb the husband's Popeye omelette was yummy! Love the pot of coffee they provide on the table so u can pour it when u want. I have been eating at the various Stacks restaurants for over 10 years. Today was the very first time I had a very disappointing meal. They changed their hashbrowns, which tasted bad, and their omelette was not as tasty. I brought this to their attention, but there was no resolution. The manager could not even come over to explain. Consistency is key for restaurants. I'll try them again in another week and if it is the same bad food, I will not be coming again. read more

We've been going to Stacks in Campbell for years, so when we saw the signs go up in our hometown of Morgan Hill, we were excited. Unfortunately, during the first week of their opening, we came out for a Wednesday brunch to try the crab crepe and crab omelette (both of which are excellent in Campbell). However, both dishes were very underwhelming, with nothing worth recommending. Keep in mind, we're comparing this experience to Stacks in Campbell, so perhaps they have their cooks and staff more dialed in there, while the Morgan Hill location is still finding its footing. The food itself was noticeably smaller in portion compared to Campbell (we just ate there in May 2024). Additionally, it seems like they use imitation crab in Morgan Hill, whereas the Campbell restaurant appears to use real crab, which we've always appreciated. Also, the hollandaise sauce in Morgan Hill tastes like it's store-bought, which is disappointing compared to what we're used to at the Campbell location. If you haven't tried the other locations, this might be an acceptable breakfast or lunch spot. But for us, a drive to Campbell is certainly more worth it than eating here again, unfortunately. read more

If you're looking for a go-to breakfast/brunch place, look no further!! The service, food, and drinks are spectacular! Although I arrived at a very busy time close to afternoon, I was able to get seats fairly quickly (~30 minutes) and sat in their amazing outdoor patio area. My server, Monique, was so kind and attentive to what I needed! I ordered the iced matcha latte with oat milk, and it was delicious. Their blackened chicken sandwich was equally amazing, and included perfectly sized portions of fries, salad, and a pickle. Couldn't recommend this restaurant enough, especially in such a lovely location to walk around and explore downtown after eating. read more

I came here on a Saturday morning for brunch and got lucky it wasn't too busy. Our party of 4 sat in the outdoor patio area and had heaters but didn't need them as it was pretty sunny. "I ordered it med rare, it came to me med rare" it comes with mashed potatoes and longstem broccoli with cherry tomatoes, and a wine/vinegar reduction for the Wellington. The beef was as soft as butter, I could have used a butter knife to cut it (not kidding) and it melted in my mouth. The seasoning with the dough and the spinach with the mushrooms inside nearly caused a wet dream (if you get my point) "and don't even get me started on their reduction sauce for the Wellington!" The waiter walked up to me and smiled and said "and I quote"... gives you goosebumps, right? Oh he knew, HE KNEW!! 5++++ Stars! #3. Wifey ordered the Grilled Salmon salad. She ate the Salmon so fast that I barely had a chance to taste it. We were greeted by a very friendly waitress. She said we could sit wherever we wanted, asked if we've been in before, and told us about the specials. The interior is cozy, it kind of reminded me of dive bar vibes. They have a lot of drinks on tap and some frozen slushies. I opted for organic iced tea since I don't drink. When I went to the bathroom, I noticed one of the slushies was non-alcoholic so I might try that next time. We ordered the Bourbon Bacon Burger with Chili Cheese Fries and the Supreme wood-fired pizza. The burger was fantastic! The BBQ sauce was delicious, the bacon and onion rings were crispy, and the fries were great. I enjoyed the chili, but I didn't think the cheese sauce or sour cream really stood out. I thought the crust on the pizza was perfect, I really enjoyed the wood-fired vibe and fresh toppings. This would probably be my favorite pizza if they used better mozzarella. For now, Bizza is holding the top spot for me since they use Butcher's Son mozzarella, and in my opinion, it's the best vegan mozzarella sub I've ever had from pizza spots so far. Even though I have notes, I still think the overall meal was a home run and the staff were super friendly so they get 5-stars in my book.

I asked them to leave off the tomato due to my food allergies. The bun was soft but held up well to the heft of the sandwich. The decor was classic 60's style diner. What really caught my attention is the staff seemed to know most of the guests and greeted them by name as they came and went and inquired into different aspects of their lives. This personal touch reflects what seems to be a long-time relationship with dedicated customers. Parking is close to the door. We had a wonderful experience at Stacks! It's a classic breakfast spot with plenty of seating, including a lovely outdoor patio. There was more than enough space for larger parties and families, which made the atmosphere feel comfortable and welcoming. The food was delicious, and I especially appreciated that they offer vegan options. I ordered the breakfast burrito with vegan eggs, and it was really good! What truly made our visit exceptional was our server, Jeremy. His customer service was outstanding from start to finish. He greeted us with a smile, made us feel genuinely welcome, and was incredibly patient and kind with our energetic toddler. He took the time to explain each of the dishes we ordered, checked in often without being intrusive, and seemed so attentive to every table around him. You could tell he truly enjoys what he does, and his positive attitude made our meal even more enjoyable. Service was on point, their menus say something like, "We don't serve fast food, but we serve hot food as fast as we can" and I'd say the food was fast, hot, and delicious. Lots of items clearly made from scratch. Whipped cream on the French toast, home made chicken fried steak was amazing, biscuits and gravy made from scratch. Yum! Simple country diner style inside, nothing fancy but everything is cute, clean, and in good repair. Bathroom is kitschy and fun.

How could the service be so slow you would need a first aide kit? Let me tell you. The first two time we tried to go here it was a 50 minute wait, so we passed. Today we sat after 15 minutes wait. I had to find the waitress 3 times, for coffee refil, did not bring my Son milk and to pay. Because we had to wait so long for everything ( chocolate waffel but did not bring us milk, had to go find her and ask for drinks) , it was like a " Got milk" comercial nightmare. My Son had a meltdown and my wife took him to the car, and he scraped his leg really bad. I asked if they had any badaids or first aide kit, in a restaurant. And she said they did not have bandaides. So that gives you an idea of the cleanliness if they have no bandaides or first aid kit... painful experience on many levels.

We cut each cookie into 6 pieces so everyone could try the different types: chocolate chip, chocolate chocolate, and oatmeal, and then almond and chocolate biscottis. Interestingly, even though it was after 1pm on a weekday, all the parking spots were full and we needed to park in the overflow parking at the hotel next door. Tonight I had a Chalula Chicken sandwich on their delicious Souedough. The bread is crispy and soft and delicious. The chicken had the perfect balance of spicy sauce and chicken chunks... it was fabulous. I split my sandwich with some people in my family and afterward realized that if I had kept it for myself I would have eaten the entire thing in a blink of an eye. It was different than any sandwich I've had and by far, the best!!! The service is amazing at this place. They all greet you when you walk in and they treat you like family. I'm thankful the ambiance in the restaurant is cafe seating and is perfect for coming in dressed as you are for a nice lunch or early dinner with friends and family.
