From a fully sustainable shop, to the delicious sound food with vegan options, and the incredible drinks that are well made. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone who loves coffee and wants to enjoy a nice afternoon here. The service was very kind, and they were quick to produce our delicious drinks. Stable is one of my all time favorite cafes in SF. The prices are amazing for SF and I've never seen anything else like it - making it a great, affordable spot for brunch if you're in the neighborhood. The outdoor seating area is my favorite part - it definitely makes you feel like you're on holiday in a tropical country if you sit out there on a sunny day. I also like that while there is always a line to order, it doesn't take very long to get served or to find a seat given there's plenty of space. We'll definitely keep coming back here! read more

Yeah probably but would it be this good? Probably not. And I don't think I would've ever thought to put it on my breakfast. And the agua fresca????? My god. One of the best drinks I've ever had. The outside dining area was also very cozy although the fruit falling off the trees gave me a little scare on the plus side free fruit! Quick Summary: - Beautiful and cozy cafe - A short walk from the 16th BART station - Receiving orders vary by what you ordered: drinks - your name will be called; food will be delivered to you Lots of seats outside the cafe - Coffee is nutty and refreshing - Once eating, place your dishes into a bin that is found in the courtyard We visited the cafe around lunch time, so the courtyard area was almost filled with guests. Friend and I ordered a drink and a lunch plate. I ordered the first thing that caught my mind, and I was curious to try: the pomba. For coffee, it was a warm day in SF, so I ordered the iced latte. We ordered in a style, that the staff combined our menu and would only call my friend. However, we received the tag number to place where we sit. Later, we learned that they call out our name for coffee and drinks, and will deliver the food. Not sure if this was the usual method, but the coffee was called first, and then the food was delivered. Noticed that while my friend got their dish, mine took some time to arrive. Again, as stated in the first message, wait time isn't going to affect the overall waiting time. Plus, it was probably only a couple minutes of waiting, and that went by chatting with my friend. The area, where I will be lowering a star to 4 is the coffee. The iced latte was refreshing and nutty - strong too. The only downside was that the drink started to water down due to the ice. It became almost like drinking water near the end of my meal. My friend, who had the hot cappuccino, said it was pretty good, so I suggest ordering hot drinks over cold for the coffees. The pomba was a unique and delicious dish. It's was an egg in a hole with crispy bacon and brie cheese on top. The side of fruit was sweet and soft to the bite; a perfect and simple dessert to have on a warm day. There was also a cut-out of the hole, and that was my favorite piece. Probably because I have a huge love of butter, so that tasted really good. I'm not a fan of bacon, but this one I was able to eat. It was crispy but it still retained its flavor and not heavily coated with smoke scents. If you're a fan of brie, the large slab of it was a wonderful touch. Overall, it was a good experience for photos and food. read more

This place is a great brunch spot for weekends. I don't like how long the lines are on the weekend and it takes forever to get your order unless you get standard coffee. Many locals seem to stop by here. It is a perfect place to study, work, or catch up. It is also perfect for larger groups. I ordered their drip coffee and it is standard. Not sure what beans they use. They have a lot of drink options that range from reasonable to pricey. Their outdoor seating is so spacious and decorated beautifully. If you opt to stay in, there are a lot of pretty plants inside with limited seating options. I think that this spot is a solid brunch and coffee spot if you wanted to catch up with a friend or large group. read more

Came here this weekend for a morning bite and had a delightful time! From the food to the ambiance indoors and out, everything was great. We got 2 pastries, a breakfast burrito and 2 cappuccinos. I recognized the pastries from Kahnfections which influenced me to get their amazing dill and Swiss biscuit and we also got a great mochi muffin. All I can say is YUMMY! The plants in the cafe are so cute, and the outside is even more adorable. It's actually quite an ample space! I got fortunate and came on a weekend when no one else was here, so I had my pick for seating! I have come back since, and it has been packed every time, so coming here earlier than later is better. I ordered the matcha latte with soy milk and a chocolate croissant. I was expecting your run-of-the-mill pastry and matcha, but I was pleasantly surprised! The matcha was delicious. Friendly staff here, a beautiful, large back patio, and free tea refills! I wanted to try the agua fresca, but it was sold out. Apparently it's pretty yummy. They have cold brew offerings, including a nitro cold brew. Awesome. I would come again. Enjoying a drink in the back patio area feels like a respite from SOMA's commotion. Okay drinks but a lovely ambiance, with outdoor and loft seating. There was a constant flow of people on the Sunday I was here but there always seemed to be available seating. I'll be honest and admit the three stars is primarily because the person I was with ordered for me and informed me most matcha lattes in SF are hot. I didn't realize this or I would've ordered something else. As for the drink itself, it was beautiful but unsweetened as far as I can tell, and I only really like iced sweetened matcha, cause it masks the flavor of milk. Unfortunately because the hot matcha had a layer of foam and the matcha sank, and I was really just drinking matcha flavored foam and milk. I'm not the hugest fan of the taste of milk, so you can imagine my disappointment. While I didn't enjoy the drink I'd imagine someone who does like hot matcha lattes might, although I see other reviews are similarly mixed. Altogether I could see this place as a good spot to read or study, so although it wasn't right for me, I'd recommend it to others. read more

The brunch menu has a mix of classics between overnight oatmeal, breakfast sandwiches, burritos etc. the portions were a bit small for the pricing. They also have a wide range of coffee , tea and non caffeine drinks. The service was a bit slow and snobby with no requests for modifications entertained. What an incredibly gorgeous place to grab a good cup of coffee. The outside patio is beautiful and lush with plants. Unfortunately, there's no WiFi - otherwise I'd be here all day (probably the point of no WiFi). There's a covered back area with a long dining table and oven.
