Great ambiance, can get a bit loud but we had multiple great things here. Eric made us some perfect cocktails!

Rooftop bars seem to come and go in Buckhead but it looks like St. Julep is here to stay - and I'm not mad about it! I've stopped by a couple times now after dinner at the Betty and it's a great spot to grab a cocktail to end the night. I believe you can make a reservation for a table to ensure you have a seat on the busy rooftop. The bartenders are pretty knowledgeable and can basically make you anything you want from the bar. I'm a big fan of their espresso martinis but when they're busy (like they were on my most recent visit), I settled for a Tito's and soda. The rooftop gets super busy on weekend evenings, particularly my most recent visit on a Friday night when it appeared to be post-wedding/rehearsal dinner. If you want a great view of the city, definitely recommend stopping by St. Julep!

For starters, the view was simply OK. nothing spectacular. There's a huge building that covers half the view. The drinks are overpriced, I'd understand if the view was spectacular but the drinks/service/view doesn't add up. You can park across the street instead of paying for valet. But you still pay pay a premium price. We were there for less than an hour & half & paid $10. They don't validate parking. Drinks = NOT good. The drinks were super sweet & I could taste the excess amount of simple syrup. The drinks are not worth the price at all. Super sweet/syrupy & service is mediocre. They could do so much better. We came tonight on a Sunday at 5 PM & only 2 couples were there but they only had 3 working heaters. They said the rest didn't work. Overall disappointing. Drinks aren't worth it. View is mediocre. Service isn't good.

Nice rooftop thats very walkable to many spots in buckhead. The staff is really nice and the dj was great. The only con (not the business's fault) is that the rooftop view is obstructed by the many high rises being built in buckhead.

Had a casual business meeting here and everything was fantastic. Kourtney with a K was amazingly pleasant and definitely provided service with a smile. Beautiful space and beautiful view

views and vibe inside were incredible. bartenders were super nice. the food was much better than expected and great portion sizes. the tempura veggies were insanely yummy and the chicken tinga taco surprised me! drinks did not reflect their price tag to me unfortunately. i asked for a passion fruit martini (off menu but he said it was cool) and it was too strong to have more than a few sips. i'd definitely order one of their specialty drinks to get something more well balanced next time. i liked the grapefruit sour beer i had, it was a unique choice i haven't seen at many other bars. i would come back here on a nice night for sure!

We came here for some after dinner drinks and of course, for the view! It was a gorgeous night and not very crowded for a Thursday night. The cocktails were delicious. My one complaint was that most all of the tables outdoors had "reserved" signs on them and no one was using them in the 2 hours that we were there. But overall, it was a great atmosphere with very friendly seeci

I don't think I've ever thought of rooftops in Atlanta, but Kimpton Sylvan hotel has been an awesome find and I have been taking all my friends here, especially after a satisfying meal at the Betty downstairs. All the drinks, view of the skyline, and the atmosphere is great here. I do try to avoid the prime times and usually go before 7PM before it gets too crowded. My favorite drink are the Southern Rose and depending on the bartender, Hey Ya tastes like pina colada. Also, all the snacks are pretty tasty especially the pork rinds and the chili mango soft serve. Would recommend St. Julep for a night out in Buckhead! FYI, it's a valet only parking so would recommend bringing cash.

Great drinks and bartenders! Super nice outdoor space with comfy seating.. good for bigger groups.

This place is nice for a one and done. I came here with a friend + to take pics for my business on Instagram on the rooftop. The interior is cute and comfy. The hotel looks very classy so maybe I'll return for dinner. The view is the parking lot so not much of a great view. I found the drinks to be lacking and overpriced. I do not think I would return.

It's Rooftop SZN! I was happy to experience this brand new rooftop vibe in Atl. The doors opened on 03.24.21 @ 4:00 PM, my family arrived at 5. Upon arrival the pleasant valet attendant advised our parking would be $10 versus $22 if we have it validated. We were greeted and seated immediately upon arrival. The venue and views are absolutely gorgeous. PROS Beautiful Space Views Service Music Vibe CONS Bland drinks were way to expensive (we paid $16 & $18 per drink). I have no problem paying for drinks that are worth it. Food - Don't come hungry. The only food offered is "corndogs" ranging $8-&9. I just couldn't believe management didn't think the menu over a bit more. This is Atlanta, at the very least, provide a few more options such as sliders, lemon pepper wings, small salad etc... If you don't eat corndogs, popcorn, mixed nuts, pork rinds or Szechuan tots...you're completely out of luck. I literally would have stayed for hours, but I was hungry and wanted great tasting drinks. St Julep has so much potential. I truly hope they add more items to the menu, adjust the prices on the cocktails or actually serve cocktails that are worthy of the current price point. I'm willing to return for a tasting before management unveils a new and improved menu.

The St. Julep is located on the rooftop of the Kimpton Sylvan hotel in Buckhead. When you arrive expect to valet ($5 per vehicle) and ask to be directed towards the St.Julep. This hotel has a total of three bars/restaurants (St. Julep, Willow Bar and The Betty) To get to the rooftop you'll have to take the elevator to the top floor. I'll caveat and say there is only one way up or down, so sometimes you have to wait in line to exit or enter. When you enter don't be surprised by the size of the rooftop. As you go to the right and walk down the aisle there are more seats and couches. You get a decent view and when the outdoor DJ is there the vibes are great. They sell carnival type foods at this restaurant (hotdogs, pretzels etc) and that's the only reason why I'll give it 3 stars. I wasn't expecting that.

I needed a location that could accommodate the wedding ceremony and the reception. The Estate was able to do this effortlessly without sacrificing the beauty of the wedding ceremony or the fun of the reception. I loved planning my wedding at the Estate because it is a one stop shop: they did our flowers, decorations, linens, food, bar service, valet parking and our cake! As a busy bride, it is so helpful to not have to coordinate with numerous vendors. The artistry of the floral arrangements blew me away. The venue was a hit with our guests as it is an interesting building that allows the wedding to flow seamlessly from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception. The venue is tucked off Piedmont Road behind a nondescript brick wall and gate. It is the kind of place you've driven past a million times and never thought twice about. Once you go through the gates of the driveway, you won't forget it. The landscaping and trees that surround the Estate make it hard to believe you are in the middle of Buckhead (we got some great outdoor photos). The main house is a historic antebellum home with a huge sun porch, chic interior design and beautiful art on the walls. There are at least 4 spaces for bars in the main house with a ceremony space and ballroom built off the side of the original structure. I'd recommend having your wedding here-- it was easy to plan with the staff at the Estate and the wedding was so beautiful thanks to their work.

Michele took my dreams and turned them into a beautiful reality! The flowers, linens, décor, etc. were exactly what I envisioned. She is so easy to work with and a consummate professional. John was an exceptional addition to Michele. He made sure things ran smoothly and everything was going as planned. Ernest, our individual server, was super attentive. Never once did I have to ask for a drink or bite to eat. I wish I could have him with me every day! The food was "the best wedding food we've ever had" and you have an enormous amount of options to choose from. The property was pristine and is obviously kept up nicely. If you are looking for a wedding venue where you and your guests leave saying "Wow! That was perfect. Everything ran so smoothly", then The Estate is the place for you. I never thought a wedding day could run so seamlessly, but mine did thanks to the staff at Legendary events and the Estate.

We entered with a $15 cover (cash accepted) just in time for class to start. The teacher made the class fun and taught the basics with ease. I liked how he gave everyone some extra moves to practice out on the floor in both salsa and bachata. The dance space was kind of small compared to what I've seen but people moved on and off the floor so much that it didn't get crowded. I also enjoyed how they had plenty of seating. I'm not sure what's up with ATL and charging crazy prices for bottled water... or maybe Nashville spoils us. Anywho, bottled water is $3. Per necessity, the DJ was a vibe I enjoyed how he played some classics, some new school and old school. My only wish was that he would mix up the genres instead of playing 4 salsa then 4 bachata, the 4 merengue... so on and so forth. Lastly to top it all off, there was a local taco shop selling tacos outside. After 4 hours of dancing they delivered! All in all, I will definitely don on my salsa shoes and visit Sanctuary Nightclub again!

I reached out to The Slate Room the next morning and was blown away by how easy and seamless the booking process was. Not only did they have availability, but the space ended up being even better than my original venue in every way. The location is prime, the pricing is more than fair, and the space itself is absolutely stunning. It's the perfect outdoor-hybrid setup and worked flawlessly for my party. Josh and Chavien were incredibly professional, kind, and transparent about everything from the very beginning. They walked me through all the features of the venue, answered every question I had, and made sure I felt fully supported. What really stood out to me was the level of care! Josh even came back the morning after my event to help a guest who thought they had left something behind. That kind of thoughtfulness is rare and so appreciated. Thanks to The Slate Room, what could have been a stressful disaster turned into one of the best nights ever. I truly believe my party was better because it happened here. If you're looking for a beautiful, flexible venue with great energy and even better people, this is the one. I will recommend The Slate Room every chance I get. The catering (outside vendor) was also located inside & dropped the ball on many aspects...with no fault of the Slate Room. I have never seen a large table covered in saran wrap serving as a charcuterie board with no serving utensils, mini plates & the much need for Hand Sanitizer. I digress to the outside, aside from the covered patio with sofas (they need to be replaced), picnic tables & a few chairs, the seating layoff were off. Now, depending on the packages - perhaps different setups with furniture &, etc may be offered. The parking logistics were very unpleasing. The parking space is shared, so 1st come 1st park. The neighboring businesses have parking spaces yet with the security outside they will let you know if you can park there or direct you somewhere else & with a small trek. The concept is great, yet the logistics could use some tweaking.

Having mediocre food is acceptable for me and my company if the ambience and service is better. But this place, the service was terrible, mainly our server. I came here for my birthday as a present from my sister. The ambiance is pretty. This place is mostly famous for the building and its location. The high tea for two is terrible: the tea sandwiches are made in stale and dry bread. The desserts are semi good and the scones are hard and dry as a rock. If you are someone who has very little experience and afternoon tea and high tea, this might be the best experience of your life. If you are someone who appreciates a calm and friendly service, this place is not for you, especially if you are an experienced and avid tea drinker. SERVICE: our server took our order like a McDonald's server without any friendliness or enthusiasm. She was not polite either. She seemed very unhappy to be there. When we asked about their most popular menu item, she was overwhelmed and took a deep breath with deep annoyance, replying: " I have no idea what people are saying about our menu online. And I wouldn't know our popular menu item either. People like different things on our menu." This was a very disappointing experience.

The wonderful vibe there was only improved by the superb service by Maila our server and Brie, the bartender who served us our wonderful cocktails and hand delivered them with a smile. We ordered 3 appetizers which were generous in size and 2 entrées. Here's what we got: Sticky Lamb Ribs (our favorite appetizer), sushi tots, soy glazed pork belly, shrimp and grits, and crab and calabrian chili bigoli. To drink we selected scent of a Woman, and a pineapple fizz mocktail. For dessert we ordered a strawberry shortcake creme brulee. I am only writing a review on here because of their dishonest response. I booked my wedding dinner here for 18 people. We were running about half an hour late and let the restaurant know. We thought it would be fine because our reservation slot was for 2.5 hours, which is plenty of time. From the moment we arrived service was extremely slow. Drinks took forever to come and some were forgotten. My friend got a virgin raspberry mojito and it was so sour it was undrinkable. We had asked multiple times for one regular menu to order from and for some simple syrup for the mojito, neither of which we got. We pretty much had one server for our table of 18 people, and he was serving other tables as well. He told us at the start that another server would be helping but she was barely seen. It got to the point where my husband and I had to get up to talk to management. They were apologetic, gave us a bottle of rose, and asked how they can make it better. I told them that things need to be on time not just because we were approaching the end of our reservation but also because we had plans right after. Service was still slow and once we were finished we were still sitting and waiting for the check. We ended up being late to our other plans. Keep in mind this was our wedding day. We had just gotten married and everybody was in a great mood. We were nice and clearly communicated our needs even though service was lacking throughout the whole dinner. I write a review and then a day later they reply to my review, telling lies to try and discredit me. As if the poor service during dinner wasn't enough, their timing and dishonesty reflects their lack of respect for their customers. We spent over $2000 which included a 22% gratuity fee. Such a waste of money. You couldn't pay me to come here again. If you're looking for a restaurant for a wedding, proposal, anniversary, celebration, graduation, reunion, date, large party, or really anything, save yourself the trouble. They just might treat you the way we were treated, and then lie about it to try and make you look bad.
