I've been here several times as the food here is Excellent! We ordered the Thai Style Fried Rice and the Pad Kee Mao. Both were perfect, the service was good and the price was reasonable. We came during lunch time on a Tuesday and the place filled up quickly. I will be back! read more

I walked in with the lowest of expectations for this restaurant and i walked away pleasantly surprised. The curry salmon was The salmon was cut in small bits (I wish they were larger chunks) and the veggies soaked up the curry pretty well. Good food. Fast and friendly service (in n out in 20 minutes during dinner service). read more

After coming to this location for many years The service has gone downhill very fast, we placed an order for pickup for nearly $30. The owner upfront was trying to charge 50cents for extra hot sauce wtf? This is not McDonald's KFC Taco Bell etc Very Rude customer service and the food was not cooked right. Use extreme caution sadly this place is going into decline very fast read more

I LOVE Sri-Thai in Dublin...!!! I have never had a bad meal here...!!! The staff is awesome and the food is so great! Try their lunch soup, served M-F, but they will make it for you on the weekend as well. It is delicious. I like their beef items like the beef salad and Mango Beef. But, like I said, I have tried most of their menu and never been disappointed. You can't help falling in love with everything at Sri-Thai. read more

My boyfriend and I used to come here for the past 3 years. The food is good, but one of the main male server's attitudes changed towards me when I didn't give a big tip. I heard him speak about my tip in Thai as well in a salty attitude , think I can't understand you? I came in that same week with my brother, and they didn't even allow me to tip and gave me a service charge of I believe 15%. I guess they're entitled to receiving tips from you or something. read more

The pad thai from this place is the best. And it is also a walking distance from where I use to work.

I came in yesterday and was greeted by a friendly waitress. I ordered the cashew chicken lunch special it was soooo yummy. The Thai tea was perfect. I definitely will be coming back! read more

Terrible food and terrible customer service. This was my 2019 new year's dinner with my family and it was completely ruined by a female waitress. The food was incorrectly made, the pad Thai had hardly any tofu. There were no chilies or spices. The kids noodle came with no vegetable (even though we asked to be kept on the side). What's more upsetting is that in the end, when I inquired about my bill, as it was incorrect and I was overcharged, the same waitress was extremely rude and raised her voice and created a big scene. She was not willing to listen and started making up all sorts of nonsense. Never again will I be going ! Very disappointed. read more

Three people for lunch. Arrived at 12:30 and there were plenty of tables open but six or seven parties filed in within the next fifteen minutes until my two other people finally arrived. Good variety of choices for lunch with the average price of $10.95 which made me happy! I had the pad see eu. Good amount of food, in fact, I packed up a small box of leftovers. Good taste, good wide noodle consistency, good little salad and dressing unfortunately on the same plate which really didn't mix well. House soup starter came in a nice sized bowl but was a bit sweet. Overall, adequate service and portions and taste but I must admit had better Thai food elsewhere. Sorry...... read more

Good for groups for lunch but that is about it. Hot sour soup (that is free) is not great and is borderline grodie. The flavor is certainly sour and the texture of the veggies reminded me of the type that come out of a can. In some ways it is an appropriate starter dish because it sets expectations of what's to come.... The Honey Roasted Duck, for the remainder of this review, will be referred to as the "rubber ducky" which describes the texture perfectly. Chewy and so rubbery that it was difficult to cut with a knife. It would get caught in the serrations of the knife and then roll around on the plate as I tried, feverishly, to get bite size pieces. It had a "special sauce" which was watery, brown, and had little to no taste. The spinach that came with the "rubber ducky" was equally as tasteless and chewy. I doused all of it in hot sauce just so I could eat it. The desserts are pretty yummy! I really enjoyed the Sweet Sticky Rice with Mango. Online it says it comes with coconut ice cream but I was too defeated by my fight with the duck to ask for it. The fried banana did come with the coconut ice cream and it was very good. Service, oh the service. It was as if our servers maintained a constant state of mild to moderate irritation. I think one of them made an attempt at a joke that came off as a passive aggressive jab. "Smiles get soup"... The only time he smiled was after he said that. read more

Food was about what I would expect. It was good...no complaints regarding the food. Appear clean, nice quaint. The service wasn't good though. No one offered drinks besides the initial water. After our order was served, no one checked on us. In fact we had to call someone over and ask for the check. read more

The dining room of Sri-Thai in the Hacienda Crossings Shopping Center looks very classy with white linen tablecloths protected by glass, black iron chairs, and square plates. The walls are white with small Asian themed prints and a black painted ceiling. This little restaurant would feel very elegant, but the flatscreen mounted on the wall playing Diners, Dive & Drive-ins with full sound was a real mood killer. Don't get me wrong, I love Guy Fieri, but not in an upscale restaurant. I ordered the Tom Ka, a coconut milk soup with lemon grass, lime, and mushrooms. I added chicken, but you can also choose to add prawns or seafood or even order it as a vegetarian option. I took it to go and ate it in the car on the way home. Gai Tom Ka is a dish I order at many Thai places and this was one of the better versions I've had. The soup was creamy and tart with just a little spicy bite to it. At only $4.00 for a generous portion it is a bargain. I also ordered the Red Curry Chicken which came with bell peppers, baby corn and sweet basil in a coconut milk based curry sauce. Unfortunately for me, I left it in my brother's refrigerator and never got a chance to try it. My mom informs me that they enjoyed it immensely and that it tasted wonderful. I'll have to take her word for it until my next visit to the Bay Area. I'm headed back North next weekend so who knows... The food here is excellent. I didn't eat in the restaurant so I can't comment on the service, but the guy who took my take out order smiled and seemed friendly. This place has my seal of approval. read more

Not the best Thai food in the area. But not the worst either. That said, the quality of their food has gone down. Fried rice came out super soggy. Tom Kha came out too lemony. And these are supposed to be comfort foods. What's up, chef? read more

If I could give this a ZERO I would. It's a rare occasion that I give a bad review. I have been a regular customer here for several years. Today, unfortunately had to send a dish back because it tasted horrid. The waiter initially refused to take it off the bill. We had to argue with him to remove it. When he came back with the bill he said in a loud voice, "You can't just send back food because you don't like it. This is the last time I do this. I know you sent it back because you just don't want to eat." I could NOT believe my ears. He argued loudly and all the patrons stopped and looked. It was degrading, rude and disrespectful. You have lost a long time customer with your attitude over a $9.00 dish. read more

I go to this place a couple times a month, probably - mainly because of their tasty and affordable lunch menu offerings, combined with good food. The place is clean, classy, and tastefully decorated. It looks like the kind of place where you'd spend $15 for an entree, so I was pleasantly surprised to find that most lunch specials can be had for about $8 or so, and you get a decent amount of food for your money. Every time I go there I'll get soup as soon as I sit down, it seems, which is nice. It's usually some sort of hot&sour thing, which is OK but not remarkable. They typically bring things out quickly and fresh from the kitchen. The honey duck and yellow curry are probably some of the best things they offer but everything I've tried has actually been pretty good. They also have a good selection of special sauces you can add to kick up the spice if you're feeling adventurous. A couple downsides: This place is small and fills up quickly. It's not unusual to see people waiting outside to get in. Also, though the portion sizes aren't small, they're not exactly 'generous', either. This isn't too bad, but I've never really left there 'full' so much as I have just 'no longer hungry'. All in all, this is a nice place for lunch, affordable, and conveniently located next to several other places you can check out after eating before heading back to work. It's a very good alternative to your typical sandwich shop, even if you may pay a few dollars more for the meal. read more

My sister and I decided to have dinner at Sri-Thai tonight after watching Ponyo! I love the appetizers they have here, especially the Crispy Scallops, Satay Chicken, and Steamed Mussels! If you just want something for lunch I recommend the salad menu. Their papaya salad topped with carrots, tomatoes, chili peppers with a little bit of drizzled lemon juice, topped with shrimp and peanuts is a savory sensation! I'm a big fan of spicy curry so I usually order the Yellow or Green Curry with seafood or chicken. A bowl of steamed rice costs $1.00 so its probably better to order fried rice and take home the leftovers. I usually like to eat here when I'm in the area but there are plenty of restaurants to choose from. Don't forget to try their Homemade Thai Tea Ice cream! read more

Sri Thai - dinner for 8...$160... - Thai Near Me - Dublin, California

I know 5 stars seems like a lot for a big box retail located food spot, but trust this place is worth it. We went on a weeknight and there was surprisingly a steady flow of folks all night. The veggie spring rolls where great. I loved that side sauce. I also enjoyed the great Thai hot tea and refills. The Tom Ka Soup was great. I just did not like that they serve it individually not family style. I totally would have had seconds. The Red and the Yellow Chicken Curry where very yummy especially mixed together. I would even go as far as saying that the Red Chicken Curry is my favorite in the Bay. Because I love Fried Bananas with Coconut Ice Cream I always save room to try it out which sucks cuz my Man usually doesn't and then we both end up eating too much BUT at this place the portion is just right with only two fried bananas and a good sized scoop. Love it! Great food. Great Service. Whenever I am in need to eat before a movie at the Regal Dublin this will be my go to spot. read more

Sri Thai is definitely not the best Thai food in Dublin, but it ain't bad. Since it's Thai food, it's still decent but there are many better places to spend your dime. The best part about it is it's convenience if you have time to kill while waiting on a movie since it's right near the theater. On top of being more sweet than spicy, the curry with tofu was kinda pricey, especially since rice was not included. I mean who orders curry without rice? Total for a small Tom Yum, Thai spring rolls, and a Thai iced tea, and the curry was nearly $28. A few bucks too high. I'm not a total cheapskate. The price would be worth it if the food were outstanding. The service was nearly non-existant. The waiter stayed near the back of the restaurant the whole time, waving potential customers to pick a seat. It took awhile to for him to even visit the table to take our drink order. By then we were ready to place our full order. Good thing the food wasn't spicy since it took forever to get a refill on our waters. I think the next time I'm waiting on a movie showtime, I'll just head down the street to one of the other Thai restaurants in town. read more

Server name Pong is one of the most unprofessional server. My friend ordered Chicken Basil Leaf, he tasted it and after the first bite he realized that it is not cooked properly. We informed Pong and declined his offer to make another one. Now, it is normal courtesy of any restaurant to not charge the customer if customer immediately told them. Pong starts arguing in front of other customers and says that since you ate it you have to pay for it. Now, how does one expect to find out whether the food is good or not without eating. I asked for the owner/managers number and he give me the phone number of the restaurant. I told him that I will write up a bad review about them and he did not seem to care. So here we go Sri-Thai!! You should check what kind of people you are hiring. Such service will affect your reputation. read more

This is always my first thought for take-out. The best Thai Basil ground chicken in the planet. Really spicy, full of flavor and a huge portion. Another thing I order is the Yellow Curry and rice, very flavorful but not my favorite for yellow curry. Good enough to drink by it self though. The service is always quick and friendly, very fast pace on the phone and would do research of the menu before calling - this place gets busy. I would say if you are in the area, make your way in for lunch or dinner, if you don't have time - make time for take-out! read more

I read about this Thai place and today I got the chance to order something but I was highly disappointed with the food. We ordered Honey roasted Duck, basil chicken, and red curry chicken thinking that these will never go wrong in any Thai place but the basil was missing from basil chicken, there was only one leaf and the chicken was under cooked. Roasted duck and red curry both have no taste at all. The food is horrible and I wasted 40 dollars on the order. I will never order again at Sri Thai . read more

We've been searching for a good Thai restaurant in the area and good golly I think we found it! You have to try the spicy beef salad. The presentation was very fancy-spmansy. Good size portions so you can share if you're not too hungry. Duck with Basil was really tasty as well. Customer service was top-notch. You really can't say that about a lot of places now a days. read more

This is a cozy and clean Thai place conveniently located near the Dublin Theatre/shopping area. My bf and I stop here when we head down south as a break area. The staff is friendly enough and the food is decent, nothing spectacular. The presentation is pretty and looking around at all the burger and pizza joints, this place is prolly pretty unique in the area. read more

i was suitably impressed with this thai place in the hacienda crossings shopping center in dublin. i'd tried a couple of other thai places in the area, but hadn't found anything worth revisiting. we ordered one of the specials -- red curry with pumpkin (and chicken) -- and chicken cashew nut, which was is really nothing like the similarly named chinese dish, in case you were wondering (it's spicier and has more flavor). the couple who were seated next to us had just finished a dish which they were raving about. after querying the server, it turned out to be the seafood in clay pot, which i am definitely going to try next time. sri thai is kind of small so there may be a wait, but the night we went, it only took about 15 minutes even though there were at least 3 parties ahead of us. read more

Frankly, this is the only decent food in the central Hacienda Crossings center (I'm not including the outlying Applebees, Mimi's, etc.) The service is friendly and swift, the food is always tasty, and the prices are reasonable. A good friend (Damien) told me you can judge a Thai restaurant based on the quality and tastiness of its fried rice. I agree, and this place has excellent fried rice, just the right balance of flavors, meat, eggs, veggies, and rice. All the dishes we've tried here were great! If you're trying to make a movie showtime, be sure to tell your waiter -- they'll do their best to get you in and out on time. read more

The food was great, and it came out super fast, which makes me a little suspicious. Seriously, it was served to the table in what seemed like 5 minutes. Pad Thai was better than the fake Pad Thai I get from Tung Kee Noodle. This place isn't much in terms of ambiance. The interior reminded me of some cheap-ass wedding set up with white table cloths, mini flower arrangements, and chairs reminiscent of a wedding rental company. I loved the randomly scattered pictures frames and the odd gold drapes indicating where windows might be if they weren't sharing walls in 2 other restaurants. In addition, the tables were much too closely spaced, and the entire restaurant felt cramped. read more

Came in at 9pm. 30 mins before they close. I was still served and everything came out fast. I felt rushed and literally scarfed down every bits of my chicken noodle soup and fried egg rolls. It was good but very salted and a little disappointed in the service. No need to rush. read more

Anytime I need a quick lunch and have hard time deciding where to go, this is my go-to place. Their service is nice and quick, food is flavorful and price is reasonable. I enjoy it every time and will frequent this place as long as I am working around the area. read more

Sri Thai - Hot and sour soup comes w lunch entrée - good flavor - Thai Near Me - Dublin, California

I don't think it's easy to find bad Thai food because most places have solid house specialties and all around tasty dishes. Sri-Thai is unfortunately not very tasty. The dishes taste greasy which is not typical of Thai food and many of the meat dishes are not cooked correctly. The noodles I had tasted only like the bottom of a frying pan and I couldn't really get any other flavors. My tofu with ginger vegetables was small and only had 2 pieces of tofu in the entire dish. The salads that come with the lunch plates are drenched in some sort of creamy dressing that doesn't taste good and doesn't seem authentic at all. Service was ok, but had to be asked for most of the time. read more

I come here every once in a while after class and I always get the Bangkok Pepper Steak. I'm usually not a fan of spicy but this dish is hot & spicy and I love it! You get a decent amount and they're not too expensive. I get mine with brown rice instead of white and the salad with their house dressing is awesome. I've only dined in during lunch time and never had to wait to be seated. Great customer service and everyone who walks in is always greeted. Definitely would recommend this place read more

Won't be goin' back... Ordered 5 items. BBQ Chicken was decent but the Red Chicken Curry was cold and the chicken in both the red and green curries we ordered was hard and overcooked. Flavor in all dishes was on the bland side, making the entire meal only eatable and filling, not particularly enjoyable. I'd been here a couple times in the distant past and it was pretty good. Not only was the food nothing like I remembered it, but the "service" was slow and practically non-existent. The most UNACCEPTABLE part of our visit here, however (aside from the overpriced, sub-par food), was that they INCLUDED A GRATUITY in the bill! There were 4 of us and a toddler! Never seen anything like it in my life. Yeah... will NOT be going back. read more

Interesting place. I agree with most of the other reviews that the service is pretty bad, and a bit of a creepy atmosphere. When my wife and I stopped in for lunch, I was a bit nervous. I asked our waiter if the entree was big enough for us to split, and he said "I don't know, look at the dish over there (pointed to another tables meal), you decide, I don't know". It was really strange. All the while, some strange song about k"issing your lips makes me tremble". We decided to get the fresh spring rolls, basil chicken to split and a serving of brown rice. The spring rolls were interesting.. Very dry cold chicken and shrimp in it. The basil chicken was actually really good, and I was fairly impressed with it's great flavor and freshness. I suppose my conclusion is.. If you can get past the service and strange atmosphere, the entrees are pretty good. Don't know that I'll be back though. read more

I am a fan of their lard na dish and stuffed chicken wings. At least these two dishes are authentic Thai. Everything else tend to be too sweet. They definitely cater to the American taste for sweet Asian food. Btw, Thai food is not supposed to be sweet. Sugar is rarely added in savory dishes. The authentic Thai taste is fabulous, not sure if adding sugar is necessary. read more

My friend and I take our kids to run around Hacienda and order off of their weekly lunch special menu to go to eat outside. This is the biggest reason this place makes me happy. The second reason is that their food is very tasty and portions are perfect! We love the vegetable curry lunch special...it's full of delicious coconut milk based curry with tofu, sweet bell peppers, carrots, and string beans. It comes with soup, salad, and rice and all for about $8. Isn't that SWEET?! Once upon a time B.K. (before kids), I used to hit this place up with friends for dinner or for lunch meetings during the work day. They make an awesome Thai iced tea and mango with sticky rice too. read more

In summation: Add more spice. The food was decent, as was the presentation. The staff were also prompt with service. The $9 seafood lunch entree came with an adequate amount of prawns and scallops. However, the "3 star" level of spice I ordered was completely lacking. Thai food in general is spicier than, say, Chinese or Japanese. With the star rating system, 2 Star tends to be the default when ordering. Liking a bit more heat, I typically go for 3 Star. Unfortunately, though there was quality in the food, there was little to no heat in the taste, and my lunch required the addition of hot chilies to bring up the flavor. read more

I went here yesterday with my boyfriend before going to the movies. It's a cute little place but I think the walls need warm colors. The white didn't do good for the ambiance. We got to choose where to sit and the waiter brought us our menus. The menu was very well designed. I ordered the pad Thai which would've been delicious if it was more spicy rather than bitter. There were only 3 pieces of shrimp in the whole entree. Bummer. My boyfriend ordered the chicken with peanut sauce. He loved it to death. I don't like peanut butter so I didn't even want to try it. Not a bad experience, but not the best. 3 stars read more

I think their entire lunch menu is dubbed lunch specials. Anyways we went on a Friday a little before noon. I'm not from the area but I think the whole plaza is surrounded by office buildings so a lot of work people like to go in for lunch. So we definitely beat the lunch rush as there were some parties waiting when we left. It's a pretty small place - maybe 10 tables and definitely not for large groups. I think they can put two tables together and fit 6 people but that's it. But it's very nice all the inside. It looked upscale with tablecloths and dyed blue daisies. So I was surprised that most of their lunch menu was under 10 bucks. Right when we sat down, the waiter gave us two bowls of soup. This was even before we ordered. I wasn't a fan of it - some sort of sweet and sour concoction. But it was unique - I've never had anything like it. I got the pad sew you (yeah that's how they spelled it) with shrimp. And I really liked it. At least 6 pieces of shrimps and lots of eggs, broccoli, and carrots. And the flavor of it all was delectable. Average sized portion and it even came with a small side salad and slice of orange. But I was completely stuffed by the time I finished so it was enough for me. My friend had the meat lover's clay pot. It's just a bunch of different meats over rice It looked good even though I didn't try it. But I don't think they actually cooked it in the clay pot since the rice wasn't crispy or stick to the sides of the pot. Boo. Otherwise the food came out pretty quickly and waiters were nice. Both our dishes were $7.95 and it came out to be ten dollars after tax/tip. read more
