Wonderful experience. Everything was delicious. My favorite was the dosa and mutton. The spread on the warm crispy dosa was so addictive. The mutton curry was such a treat because the meat was extremely tender, slightly fatty, and extremely flavorful. All the curries / gravy here have adjustable spice levels, but the meat itself is usually spicy. The bone is kept in and the marrow is soft. The texture is soft yet slightly stringy and chewy in a really satisfying way. Service can be a little inconsistent so you will have to be assertive, but everyone was very helpful and polite. It was also very busy (lunch). Food came out quickly. I am still thinking about the food! Would love to come back.

Heard about their Thalis and visited on a weekend. Ordered chicken thali and mutton thali. The only difference between them is one dish. As soon as we ordered spiced buttermilk was served as a welcome drink. The actual meal came in after 15-20 minutes but I can understand because it was peak timing. Coming to taste, it is the best thali I have tasted in this area yet. I couldn't find fault with anything even if I wanted to. It was unlimited thali. It is normal to have unlimited rice but they served even chicken fry unlimited. Special shoutout to the service. Everyone - the lady who took the order to the ones who served food were very welcoming. They regularly checked in to make sure we got what we needed. I will be a regular customer. Keep it up!

Had a great meal here! The restaurant was nicely decorated and very clean. The staff greeted us as soon as we walked in and we were waited on right after sitting down. All the food was delicious and came out quickly and the prices were reasonable. Definitely recommend if you're in the area and want some Indian food.

Check out New India Gate! Just outside Ahwatukee on Ray Rd. Was delish' We had the Lamb Saag, Chicken Achari, Chicken Tika, Tandoori Chicken. Samosa was on point, and their selection of Naan was yummy! Family owned and operated by a couple brothers. Check it out!

My hubs and I decided to order takeout from here. I've seen the restaurant when passing by and know that the spot has really great reviews, both on Yelp and on Grubhub. So we decided to give it a shot when I was craving Indian and we were too tired to actually go out. For our mains we ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala (mild), Lamb Vindaloo (medium), and Chicken Jalfrazy (aka Jalfrezi, also medium). Each of the main dishes came with its own small takeout box of basmati rice- something I always appreciate (not having to order rice on top of $15+ individual dishes). I also ordered the garlic naan. Since the bill was already getting up there in price, I decided to forego our favorite app (samosas). The order arrived in plastic containers that are reusable if cleaned ("free" Tupperware, woo hoo!), Nothing was spilled and it was packed ok. The garlic naan was probably my favorite, it was delicious and perfectly cooked naan bread. The meat for all three main dishes was tender and well prepared, too. The sauces/flavor of each of the main dishes was not what I expected. I don't know how to describe it other than that each of the dishes tasted somewhat vaguely of a canned soup? i.e., one sort of tasted of tomato soup, and another of vegetable soup. We were also kind of disappointed that the vegetables in the jalfrezi looked as though they came from a frozen veggie mix. I guess when it comes to Indian cuisine I have sort of have come to expect sauces that taste unlike anything I can compare to a canned western food, and veggies that are bigger/fresher. But knowing that any Indian Food I've ever tried is already Americanized, I don't know how unfair that expectation is. Maybe what I ate was more authentic in some way that I can't know (having never had the privilege of visiting/dining in India). But my subtotal for all four items was $53.96 and for $54 I kind of was bummed. Our leftovers did not get eaten. I think we'll just need to give it a shot in-person next time and perhaps my feelings will be different. Regardless, thanks for dinner New India Gate!

Ordered takeout from here! I had to show my bf it. So delish! All are very friendly. We ordered beef and chicken curry, samosas and garlic naan. Loved it just as much as I did the first time. We will return!

Amazing flavors that leave your tongue with desire. The meat is all tender and surrounded by an intense gravy the warms the soul. Never pass this place!!! Service is amazing with the two brothers that own the restaurant and their father's infamous recipes. The ambience is welcoming as you feel like a part of the family when you walk through the doors.

    This was $16.

Not worth the price. The chicken Tikka had some kind of ketchupy or sweet and sour glaze that was oily and slimy. It was $16. The Madras vegetables was frozen veggie mix in sauce for $15. The daal maharani was good but $15 is a lot for a small portion of a legume dish. I'd gladly pay for something good but this was pretty disappointing.

When choosing all you can eat buffets, I think you have to be realistic about what you are trying…read moreto achieve versus what is realistically possible. And with that declaration, I will say that Pacific seafood buffet definitely delivers as long as your expectations are realistic. And I would even argue that even if your expectations aren't realistic, they do a pretty damn good job delivering the goods when it comes to variety. While this is not a sushi buffet focused concept, they have a lot of great premade rolls sashimi and nigiri available around the sushi bar along with all the accompaniments that you would need to just eat sushi if that's what you desire. But they have far more selection than just those items. In addition to that they seem to be primarily known for their fresh crab legs, shrimp, and other seafood, but I honestly found those items to be some of the less interesting and less flavorful items available in the restaurant. As with any of these crab leg based, buffet's, the crab legs stayed empty, or mostly empty with you, having to special request some from your server, or at least notification from one of the cooks on when the next batch was going to be dumped. Again, as long as your expectations are in line, this is probably not a big deal for you. It wasn't for us. What I really like about this spot is the level of delicacies they offer which are clearly targeted to a primarily native Asian audience but for foodies like me, who like to venture out and try new things, this is a great way to do it without having to feel like you wasted your money on one dish that you may or may not end up eating. And while they encourage you to eat the food you take off of the buffet, they are not militant about it and don't hesitate to clean plates off of the table or refill your drinks, which is something we really appreciated. It can be a little crowded with larger families and crab leg fanatics, who only seem to be there to rush to the bar every time a new set of crabs are dumped, but other than that I would say this is a pretty enjoyable spot if you're just looking for a very affordable seafood buffet that features some of the better fresh seafood and sashimi items in the city.

Instead of honoring what THEY advertise, they tried to upsell us at the door. No apology, no accountability, just "pay more or leave." That alone killed any desire to eat there. We paid and walked out. If you can't match your pricing to your own website, that's a red flag. Won't be returning, and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

A good friend of mine was craving Filipino food so we chose Nanay's to scratch the itch. "Nanay" is the Tagalog word for mother. Let me tell you, this place is LEGIT!!! The restaurant has a pretty good size dining area. You can also order ahead for pick up. Employees are very friendly here and I appreciated the fact that the older gentleman was nice enough to give me a sample size of the Langka. It was right on the money! All of the food we got was definitely made with love. You can see it and you most certainly can taste it. I'm a big fan of Sisig, so it was only right to order it. They offer steamed white rice, garlic fried rice and pancit for your base. You get to choose your entrées (choose 1, 2 or 3). I opted for the sisig and their pork adobo which I have been told is a best seller here. No lies were told, as the adobo was on point! I also wanted to sample their "bilo bilo" and it was just like my mom's. I can never get enough!! Prices here won't swallow your wallet, and the parking lot outside is huge!
