Just went there and grabbed at table on the deck. Waited 15-20 min and zero servers/hostesses came by to even greet us. Lousy experience.

They use swai fish in their fish & chips. Seriously? Of all the amazing fresh fish we have in Florida, you use a Southeastern Asian catfish for your fish & chips? Indeed they do. I happen to be allergic to catfish and I always ask what the fish is if it says "fresh white fish" or whatever on the menu. I didn't think I would have to ask while ordering your basic fish & chips though. I mean, at least use cod right? Anyway, I discovered they use swai because I had to call them after puking my brains out and having the cold sweats. I will give them 2 stars for the atmosphere though. I would probably give them 3 stars if not for the swai and the expensive drinks. I've had several items on the menu and just know now to eat there now. I just go for drinks occasionally. What a great location though...seems they can do better. read more

We love coming here whenever we are in town. The food has never disappointed and the service has always been great. Love sitting on the beach day or evening. Will return when back in Florida read more

Sat outside and enjoyed the water view while watching some dolphins swim nearby. Ordered a Shrimp basket. I think this has been the first time ever I was still hungry after I finished a meal. There were no sides offered If you're looking for a water view while enjoying cocktails I would recommend but I wouldn't expect a great meal read more

Had a great lunch. I ordered the fried clam strips. They were cooked to perfection! Ben was our server and took great care of us. Will definitely be back read more

Amazing waterfront seating. The food is not my favorite but the atmosphere puts it on the top of my list.

Great place! Relaxing atmosphere when your sitting by the water. My salad was delicious! The orange balsamic dressing was to die for!

Nice atmosphere. The inside of the restaurant is fun and comfortable, and it's located right on the water. The food was good, but a little pricey for what they were offering. Overall, it was a nice experience, and we will return. read more

Great evening. Great food. But I gotta tell y'all, wait staff have to understand when someone says no gluten and no wheat, it is important to the person making that statement. read more

Excellent seafood. I had stuffed snapper and it was perfect. My dad had sea scallops and they were great too. We ordered conch chowder, but it had no conch and wasn't chowder. Otherwise very good. read more

The only thing this place has going for it is the location. There are almost no places to eat at on the river, and they make great use of their space. They even have a "beach" with sand, but you can't go in the water as there are rocks blocking you. The food was alright, very expensive for bar food. They need to hire more servers/bartenders for their weekend nights. It was hard to get service and even pay our bill when we wanted to leave. I won't be going back here anytime soon. read more

This used to be one of our favorite places all the way back to the original location at Sebastian. However, over the past nine months the quality of food has steadily declined. Tonight my wife and I had the the blackened mahi. Mine was okay, but hers was burned. The mixed vegetables were horrendous, bland, with no seasoning. Service was good. The quality of the food does not match the price they demand. Two weeks ago a roach crawled up my leg while eating my meal. Told the waiter about it, who apologized, but no attempt was made to reconcile. They need some overall attention to detail improvements. read more

As busy as they were, we were seated within 10 minutes--barely had time to get a drink at the bar--terrific. The food was very good, and our waiter, Patrick, was very attentive and personable. The service was great. Our only disappointment was that, when we went to use a "loot" certificate, they would not accept it. In all fairness, it was expired; however, it expired during the covid pandemic, when the restaurants shut down, and this was our first opportunity to use it. I would have thought there would be some leniency. read more

The food was great and the service was even better but watch out for the owner as he is pushing the religion pamphlets it the washroom and at the front desk! Not what we were expecting when out for appetizers and a couple of cocktails ! read more

seating service was great and immediate. however our server only took our order than was non existent pretty much the whole time. 3.79$ for a small coke which was refilled to go in a kids cup when I left. my grouper had "citrus butter" but was more or less slapped with some oil it seemed like. 32$ for one small scoop of mashed potatoes and some mixed veggies. when I asked for the check and a to go box he came back with no to go box and the check, which I tried to hand over immediately bc I had an impatient 4 year old that needed to go home for sleep, but once again "Ben" took off and I had to get another server to grab a to go box and get checked out. I tipped as normal but I really should have tipped nothing, I understand there's circumstances, but a coupon for 5$ off next time ain't gunna cut it. server looked like he was unaware of how undelighted I was. 50$ for me and my kid. never again. read more

I had the crunchy corn flake fish, garlic mash potatoes and green beans. My hubby ordered seafood lasagna, everything was delicious including the baked bread. Great atmosphere and decor. Only cons is it is very loud and 22 oz draft beer is 9.99, yikes!!! read more

The atmosphere was great, right on the water and the band was good. If you are going to a place to talk and drink this is it. The food was just ok. read more

I have been here enough times that I feel like I should give this place a review. This place has an atmosphere that is unlike anywhere else. Where else can you relax, listen to live music and overlook the river? My family comes down from up north a couple of times a year, and whenever they are down we always have to take a trip to Squid Lips. The food here is amazing. I always get the seared tuna appetizer and the openwater burger which is a delicious burger loaded with blue cheese. The seafood selections are amazing. You can get fresh clams and they have different types of fresh fish you can order. The staff is always amazing and accommodating. You can usually expect about a 10-15 min wait. But it's actually rather quick for places in the area. I highly recommend checking this place out if your in town. read more

So I went back here again this year when in Florida and had the same waiter! The service here is hard to beat, everyone is so nice. I had the crunchy fish fry with garlic mashed potatoes. It was perfect. There was a small delay in our food because of a mix up in the kitchen. The manager came and apologized, and comped us two pieces of Key Lime Pie that we ordered to go. Good food, good service, nice ocean view. Can't beat it! read more

Went back for a 2nd time today for Sunday brunch. Awesome Bloody Mary bar, delicious fresh grouper filet, yummy coconut shrimp and the crab-lobster cakes were out of this world! Live jazz was great. Love this place - Johnny, our server was FANTASTIC!! Wish we didn't need to commute from Ft. Lauderdale to enjoy this wonderful restaurant! read more

Sub par food, great location. Fresh seafood is questionable but great service and staff.

Decided to try this one out on Easter. Got a table with my family pretty quick so not a long wait. Had the Tuna tartar appetizer which hit the mark. For the main course we had the Seafood Lasagna, Pineapple teriyaki chicken sandwich w/ fries and the Pineapple teriyaki mahi sandwich w/ fries. Seafood lasagna was mediocre at best but both sandwiches were great. What killed this review was the service! The service was slow and if it weren't for the appetizer we might have starved before our food arrived. Over all, atmosphere and food earned the 3 stars by themselves. The wait staff needs some work.... read more

Okay food and terrible service. Saw our waitress twice. Brought out the wrong food twice and food was cold. I definitely don't recommend!!!

This is a fun place to go. Multiple dining areas to choose from. Dining room, inside bar, covered outside bar, or 'beach'. Waitstaff is pleasant. Live music at the outside bar is great, not the excessive volume that makes conversation impossible at other bar&grill venues. Suitable for families with kids. I would not recommend dining on the beach other than finger food because the chairs sink into the sand...lol. Eventually I will try their Cocoa Beach location, previously Jack Baker's, hope one can still feed the catfish! read more

Fun place to go have a chill evening and let the kiddos play while you relax. Good drinks & fun times. Oh and.....Hilary is so sweet and a great server! read more

This place has a great view of the river. Laid back atmosphere and live bands play almost every night. They have good food. Fresh fish.

Food was not ygood but the service, drinks, and staff are AWESOME! I'll go back for drinks!

I wanted to go here because of the outside seating on the beach and heard they had great seafood. We got sat in the covered patio and the hostess and server were very nice. They give out bread which was OK and we felt a different taste and realized there is coconut in the bread. They didnt tell us and I was upset about that..what if I had an allergy? Anyways, I wanted the clam chowder but they didn't have any that day. I ordered coconut shrimp, a friend ordered the fried shrimp platter and another friend ordered a burger. All was good and fresh. Prices are reasonable, all entrees under $20.00. Everything was going good until we were walking out and an older Caucasian man was holding the door for me and when I went to walk through he Slammed the door right in my face. I was so upset and started looking around and nobody did anything. I said "Really so everyone here is racists, its 2017!?" And all the employees and guests looked at me like "who cares" Alot more happened after that but I will keep it PG for the review. Food was good but not enough for me to experience discrimination....So we left and we will NEVER be back again. read more

So so seafood. Prefer other places but like the location on the water. Fried shrimp were ok. My husband had an abacoa sandwich but felt it needed more sauce read more

Average food. Service can be hit or miss depending on crowd and it gets very crowded. When family comes to town they love it.

Went to this place with some friends in Nov. The service was very good and our drinks and food were served with a smile. The band Nextdoor were ok, Not great but good enough to get people dancing. My complaint is that the place is very run down (Out Table was Broken) and the food was very average. read more

Customer service is amazing. They were busy and it was still amazing service. Our food was soooo good too :) lived being able to sit outside and out my feet in the sand to see a beautiful river view and just enjoy my meal with my hubby read more

Service was excellent. Kayla was on top of everything. Food was solid. Make sure to sit outside. Great sunset.

The Sunday Buffet is good.... I do not know why they do not have guacamole for the Mexican portion. The best is the Bananas Foster!!! OMG Delicious! YUM I love when they have live entertainment read more

Always a mixed bag at this place. Go for the cool hang and lower your expectations on the food.

Such a neat place on the water. The view was great and so was the food! Drinks were a great bonus to the experience. We will be coming back. Jordan was our server and he was excellent! read more

Very loud wait staff can't figure out much and the food is on par with Applebee's quality. Not my cup of tea.

Great food- the teriyaki mahi sandwich is amazing! Wish menu was the same for inside and outside though. Service can be a little slow when sitting out on the beach but the view makes it worth it. read more
