What is on the kids menu? I see all the options for adults but nothing for kid options.

They’re able to adjust any portion for kids so tinder’s, etc can be made in a size for children. They don’t specifically list a kids menu but are able to adjust for you.

Does it smell fishy? I'm with someone who cannot stand the smell of seafood (like raw shrimp, briny fish, etc) so I just want to make sure it smells okay.

**INITIAL REVIEW**…read more It is only fitting that I check out another breakfast/brunch place with the iconic American breakfast staple "biscuit" mentioned in their name. As for such locales within the Space Coast, this is the third one (off the top of my head) I have had the pleasure to dine in, right after "Oh" and "Twisted." So was Grumpy's Biscuits (which I will shorthand simply to Grumpy's for the remainder of this review) just another fine establishment to add to other fine breakfast estabishments here on the coast that shoots off rockets, or did they standout. I am happy to review that Grumpy's has enough subtlety to standout without smashing the competition. That is something I admire because I prefer options within harmony, Competition amongst competitors to improve one's self. Even though an address is provided, Grumpy's is located on Highland Ave., just north of the westbound part of Eau Gallie Blvd. within the EGAD. If it helps, it is right across the street from the EGAD Civic Center. First and foremost, the building Grumpy's is located in is an iconic landmard within the EGAD. Grumpy's shares the building with other businesses in which they occupy the southernmost business space, which is quite small with a small indoor eating area and a small outdoor patio with each table having individual umbrellas for shade or rain cover. It fits as Grumpy's is said in two phrases: "simple and trendy" and "cozy." The workers and owner are friendly and hospitable, and they assisted me in deciding on what to eat, which they have given each of their biscuits/sandwiches/etc. a female name. I chose "Lisa," a breakfast biscuit consisting of bacon, over easy egg, smoked gouda, mixed greens, and housemade balsamic glaze. Couple of notes about this amazing biscuit, the bacon were thick cut and candied. Truly amazing. And the balsamic glaze. Whatever their recipe is, it is amazing. I could definitely have that on many a meal. Yes, I know exactly how I wrote that! As for the coffee, I got an iced coffee which is premade and ready-to-serve. They use half-and-half and stevia in the raw. Ergo, the coffee was what I wanted. Finally, the restroom. Take note the "water closet" is outside in the hallway. Since the restaurant is small, it is a single-server. Fortunately, it was stocked and clean. There was also an "ambiance" of class, which is nice given the fact the restaurant is... well... small... and the restroom is probably shared with the other businesses, too. Ultimately, Grumpy's was an amazing initial visit and I look forward to visiting them again. Since this is the first and only time (so far) I have been here, I will give them four out of five stars. After a couple more visits, if they stay consistent, I will add their fifth star for consistency.

Now to be fair it was a to-go order so when I got to work it wasn't as fresh maybe as it should. Biscuit was good sized and tasty, a bit dry, sausage was very tasty and egg was half an omelette....not sure if there was cheese on it, maybe in the egg omelette and I just didn't see it or taste it. I would try it again, next time maybe add butter to the biscuit, a little less egg and cheese that is melted somewhere on it.

Seats about 10 at two bars. I had the dragon fruit bowl and it was very good. Not a big açaí bowl guy but it was a delicious almost guilty pleasure. It was tasty and crunchy and I liked the fresh fruit. The staff and owner were very understanding of my questions and the tv cycles photos of their offerings. Their portions are large and match the photos based on what the other folks ordered.

The storefront is not anything special. However, the interior was quite nice though it was very small. There was capacity for perhaps 25 people or so inside and it was full when we visited on a Wednesday morning at about 10 AM. But there were also a couple of outside tables and we grabbed one of those to enjoy our food. In addition to bagels, they offered some enticing baked goods. Our grandson chose one of those items, a lovely, nice-sized cinnamon roll which he enjoyed very much. My wife and I both had the Breakfast Special "Eggle", which was an Egg, Meat and Cheese on a bagel. We chose bacon, though my wife skipped the cheese. My Everything bagel that I selected was particularly good. This was a great deal as the bagel was bundled with coffee for only $5. Overall, our expenditure for food, drink, tax and tip was about $20. This was a terrific deal by today's standards. The service here was excellent. The people working were efficient and quite friendly. If you are in the area and looking for a moderately-portioned cost-effective option compared to pricey hotel breakfasts, this is a pleasant choice. It's got a great local vibe with good food.

My husband got what I think was called the Power Bowl--a delicious-looking pile of rice, beans, carnitas, and all the ingredients that make a great burrito bowl. Our son absolutely housed his French toast. Our daughter ordered the Rosemary Chicken Salad Wrap with pasta salad. I sampled the chicken salad. It had a whisper of rosemary. A polite suggestion of rosemary. A rosemary cameo appearance. If you're going to call it Rosemary Chicken Salad, I'd personally vote for a little more rosemary. My daughter loved it, though. She also loved the pasta salad but wasn't a fan of the Parmesan sprinkled on top. If Parmesan must be involved, let's keep it to the kind that comes from a block and not the green plastic shaker. Just my two cents. The staff was friendly, service was great, and soda refills appeared before we even had to ask. I also loved the local artwork displayed throughout the restaurant. Every piece has a price tag, so if something catches your eye, you can literally take it home with you. Great food, great service, incredible biscuits, and enough bacon aroma to improve your mood instantly. We'll definitely be back.

I would rate this place 0 stars if I could. The food was okay, though hugely overpriced for what we got. The service sucked. We weren't able to get seating outside, so we had to sit in the bar area. The "waiter" (i.e. bartender) took forever to bring us menus, plates, silverware, etc. Took even longer to take our orders. And I watched him across the room...he wasn't busy. When I ordered my shrimp basket, he told me it came with a vegetable medley. I told him I didn't really want that. He told me, "Well, that's what it comes with." And he turned away to take my husband's order. RUDE!! Waiters should ALWAYS offer different alternatives! The food was not hot when it finally arrived, and the portions were small. He stopped by a few times to ask if we needed soda refills, but otherwise did not waste any more time on us. He didn't even ask if we'd like dessert. He just dropped the bill on the table and walked away. When you add that to the fact that they deliberately add an extra surcharge to your bill to cover the cooks/dishwashers' wages because they're too cheap to pay them a decent wage...no, we will NEVER be returning to SquidLips! $95 for three small tepid meals that didn't even include sides we liked? Great! Love that they are in the old Conchy Joe's location and saved the building. It is a fun building. Has some character which really lacks in this area. Clams as appetizers were excellent. We had a problem that the pipes above us were leaking and we were getting rained on!. The manager addressed it, (the servers appeared to not know how to handle)moved us, however our server abandoned us. They were busy, but it was something that he needed to manage. Either give us to the server in the seating area or remember that we moved. He literally never came back and then didn't acknowledge it or apologize or offer a free dessert when we insisted that he return. It is all still a new change, but with a few tweaks to polish their act, it is a great outing. read more

I visited Squid Lips in Melbourne on a Sunday evening with my daughter. We sat on the beach which was a nice atmosphere on the water and my daughter enjoyed playing in the clean white sand. Our server, "Sily Lily" was lovely. My daughter was tickled to see she had the same name as her. Lily gave us great service and was patient and friendly. We enjoyed the Smoked Fish Dip which came with plenty of flavor and crackers. I got the Oak Grilled Fish Sandwich with blackened salmon. It was AMAZING, I will be ordering again. My daughter also enjoyed her meal, she ate all of it. If you are looking for a refreshing alcoholic beverage, I would suggest the Island Water. my experience was very pleasant and we will be returning. read more

If you're a non-smoker and want to sit on the patio don't go to Squid Lips, establishment's management doesn't care, if the table next to you engulfs you in their toxic vapor smoke, management reply, "it's outside you'll have to deal with it" was basically what he told me. Bull shit, I don't have to be subjected to someone's second-hand toxic bad habit. SQUID LIPS YOU LOST OUR BUSINESS, and I encourage other non-smokers to complain about the toxic patio smoke. I was visiting for a short time, this is one of the restaurants that was recommended to me. I wound up eating there twice - the brunch was very good, I would have said it was overpriced but we had a BOGO 1/2 off coupon which made it well worth it, I liked the Egg Benedict station the best. I also had the fish special one night, I believe it was double portion because the quantity was huge! It was also very, very good. Honestly, I only dinged it one star because I ate outside to enjoy the weather and water, and apparently you can still smoke there. Not a fan of that, I wound up going back inside. read more

We have been here several times with the family and the food is OK at best. The kids like being outside and by the water, so on a weekend afternoon its good for that. The service is usually pretty good, but this last time was not. We were ignored by the hostess for the longest time and she practically slammed our silverware and menus on the table, the food took forever, and we were constantly out of drinks. It really is a shame, because with the proper management I think they could have a really good thing going there. read more

The worst service I have ever had in my life. The waiter had to be on drugs to be that dense. Never asked if we wanted refills, gave a sorry excuse and blamed the bartender when my wife asked where the lemons she asked for were. All the manager did was say he would speak to the waiter later. I've had 100 times better service and food at a similar place called Alabama Jacks on Card Sound Rd on the way to key largo. The owner needs to take a trip and find out what a good restaurant is. read more

I came in at 11am on Sunday to watch the World Cup and to have lunch. There was not ONE single person in the inside bar. I asked the bar tender if he would please change the channel on one of the TVs. He said "no, not right now". He then preceded to tell us that he wouldn't change the channel because "everyone else would want him to change the channel to suit their needs". Ummmm we were the ONLY ones there. Met my daughter and son-in-law for lunch today.... we came from Ft. Pierce and they came from Orlando.... glad we did.... I had fish, my wife had chicken - both were breaded in exact same batter - very, very heavy. So heavy I really couldn't taste fish. The dipping sauces were straight out of a Kraft bottle from supermarket - not good or even appealing. Chicken was scraps & not real chicken chunks or tenders - disgusting. I've given squidlips chance after chance and they've failed every time. Friday night was their last chance for me. The food was bland and forgettable, as usual. The wait staff seemed overwhelmed, even though it appeared to be a lot of them there. The drinks are pointless, with minimal alcohol. Not worth the time or money. I don't even know what to say. This mac and cheese with the touch of lobster and shrimp changed my life. Actually unbelievable. Best meal I've had in a very long time. To end it the guy handed me the hand held ticket machine to add a tip. I didn't touch anything and it added its own tip to the order. I tried to get a print out but the damn thing jammed. So I have no idea how much the tip was.

I was also surprised by the quality of the silverware. The forks are so thin that they're actually uncomfortable to hold and can dig into your hand. Friends... these bathrooms achieved what I can only describe as the Three F's: Floods. Floaters. And Fecal matter. It looked less like a restroom and more like the aftermath of a natural disaster that FEMA had quietly decided to abandon. Maybe I'm weird, but I've always believed the restroom is the restaurant's backstage pass. If that's what customers see, I start wondering what the kitchen looks like when nobody's watching. Would I come back? Maybe... if I had just climbed off a floating tiki bar, the sun was setting, and my expectations were somewhere around sea level. Otherwise... I'd probably keep driving.

Sweet enough to eat without dipping in butter. We waited a bit for food and drink refills but our server was pleasant and no huge issues. The inside is a bit cramped but even on a Friday night, you didn't feel like you were bumping elbows. If you want solid seafood, check out the Old Fish House. If you want waterfront, look elsewhere but you won't go home hungry eating here!

Overall a bit of a rushed experience on the service side, so I skipped over a glass of wine.. wasn't feeling it.
