    Chicken Wings
    Shannon M.

Best wings I've had in a long time! When I asked for hot & wet, that's exactly what I got. Best part, the crispy bites of each wing. Best choice for dinner. The onion rings were delicious & the $2 beer deal, can't be beat! Service was great, casual & on point. The atmosphere is nice & relaxing with several TVs so you can catch a horse race, game, pool match & more. Price was so reasonable too!

First time here today had some excellent wings and fried mushrooms. Our waitress Alice was very very nice . Just sad as we couldn't split a order of chicken wings mixed without a second charge for the wings . Definitely liked the the atmosphere inside the restaurant. Seems like a lot of regulars come back .

What a great place! Really good food and amazing service! Even after closing time, Shannon took care of our family and made us very comfortable! Thank you!!!

A good place to have some winds off Eau Gallie. This restaurant is located in the plaza on the northwest corner of Eau Gallie and South Patrick Drive. It is just down the row, about 3 doors down (east), from Publix with plenty of parking in the common parking lot shared by all the stores. We entered and were seated in a booth immediately. Seating is a mix of tables and booths in the front with a bar along one side of the back portion of the room and booths along the other side. The tables and area both inside and outside the location was clean. There are many large televisions along the wall set to different stations. The waitress was very pleasant and came by quickly to take our drink order. We ordered wings of 3 different flavors and drinks for our meal. The drinks and celery sticks and dipping sauces came out first within 5 minutes and the wings (of the various flavors) came out within another 10-15 minutes. The food was very good and the staff was pleasant. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good meal of wings in the area. Prices were reasonable for the number and size of the wings that are sold. Enjoy.

Peel & eat shrimp with old bay is the best value in the area. Also, love the dry rub wings. Staff was very friendly and personable.

I want to preface my partner and I live in Cape so we have been going to the Cocoa Beach location…read morefor 8+ years. Firstly, our server was really sweet and she got super busy minutes after we sat down. She did her very best but there were times that we were sitting for a long period of time without being checked on. This wasn't her fault what so ever. It is a very slow rollin restaurant. For instance, we had some apps and dinner and we were there for almost 2 hours. I have served my entire life and typical turn around for a table who isn't drinking should be 45 mins to an hour max (just my opinion from my experience). The food was amazing when it did arrive. The only thing I would comment on is the shrimp which you cannot tell in the picture but I believe this location goes through a lot of old bay if they pour as much as they did in our peel and eat. It was SO salty I had to dip it in my glass of water to even eat it. Other than that, the food was amazing as always. I have seen a lot of people complaining on here specifically about food temps etc but that was not our experience. The only thing I would suggest is to put the Mahi Rueben on this locations menu. That should be criminal making satellite and Melbourne residents drive to the cocoa beach location for that incredible sandwich We would definitely go again but this time it would likely just be apps for the meantime because we are hangry people and 2 hours is a bit too long for us personally.

And then it went downhill from there. I had the fish sandwich. Dry dry dry. And the fries it came with were cold. So not great. The wife had the fish burrito. She reports it as being lacking seasoning to point of bland. That was cold too. Service was fair, but to be fair to them, they were short handed. They took care of us for sure, but meh. Overall not great. Definitely go for the fish tacos. Sorry fans, we were disappointed.

Really delish and it has just the right amount of Cole slaw on it. The sauce on top was great too. We also had the snapper sandwich (fish #2). Delish. We had it blackened and it was perfect. A nice soft bun and a boom, great sandwich. Sorry, we forgot to take pictures. The not a winner was the oysters Rockefeller. Not great. Even the manager was like, we will take that off the bill. So don't order those. Bummer, they looked good. Our server, Summer, was awesome. She was on top of everything with a smile. Good job. The problem we had was the speed at which things came out. But we only rate (stats) the food and that was a solid 4-stars. The place is so clean too. And we loved the atmosphere. All in all we will be back. Need more of those fish tacos! Thanks.

So good with the crispy bacon, fresh perfectly cooked Ahi tuna and seasoned just right. I would order this again and again. The homemade key lime pie I was also told was good but the fresh chocolate chips were spot on. I just wished they would have come out a little warmer but that's my way of eating them not everyone's. We visited Charlie & Jake's on Father's Day and first impressions were great. The place was spotless, had that rustic barbecue-joint vibe, and despite the holiday crowd, we were seated quickly and greeted right away by a friendly, professional server. Service was pleasant, but our drinks seemed to be playing hide-and-seek. We had to ask for refills every single time we wanted one. Not a dealbreaker, but noticeable. Food came out quickly. My husband ordered the smoked Old Fashioned, which arrived with enough dramatic presentation to make nearby tables stop and stare. Absolutely worth ordering. A small hiccup: when I unwrapped my utensils, the knife appeared to have some sort of residue on it. Since I didn't actually need the knife, I didn't ask for a replacement, but it was worth mentioning. Now let's talk about the star of the show: the smoked chicken. Holy smoke signals, Batman. This was hands-down the best smoked chicken I've ever eaten. Moist, flavorful, perfectly cooked. I would happily order it every week and never get tired of it. My sides were collard greens and a baked sweet potato, both served in adorable metal measuring cups. The sweet potato was good. The greens were fine, but could have used a little more seasoning and personality. My husband ordered one of the meat platters. He enjoyed it, but there wasn't anything that inspired a speech, tears, or vows of lifelong devotion. The toast, however, nearly drowned itself in butter. I wasn't aware bread could absorb that much liquid and still maintain structural integrity. It was literally dripping when he took a bite. Somewhere between toast and sponge. My hush puppies were unfortunately the low point of the meal. They tasted like someone mixed flour and water, formed little balls, and introduced them to a deep fryer. They desperately needed seasoning and I didn't finish them. The fried pickle appetizer was excellent and the portion was generous enough to feed a small pickle-loving village. When the server dropped off the check, we politely declined. We don't leave restaurants without dessert unless there's a natural disaster involved. My husband ordered the banana pudding, which came in a cute square glass container and was very enjoyable. My daughter ordered the peach cobbler. Calling it "peach" felt a little optimistic. There were approximately two peach slices in a mountain of cobbler topping. She loves crust, so she wasn't upset, but if you're expecting fruit, bring a magnifying glass. The filling itself could have used more flavor and some warm spices, and it was absolutely swimming in caramel sauce. A good vanilla bean ice cream would have elevated the whole thing. My son ordered the peanut butter chocolate pie and immediately entered a state of dessert enlightenment. Deep peanut butter flavor, rich chocolate, absolutely fantastic. Final takeaway: Order the smoked Old Fashioned. Order the smoked chicken. Order the peanut butter chocolate pie. Maybe don't order the hush puppies unless they've found a spice rack since Father's Day. Overall, a clean restaurant, friendly service, excellent atmosphere, and a few standout menu items that are worth coming back for.
