Greek Gyro, Chicken Fingers, Onion Rings
Alison L.

The food was delicious! Best gyro I've had in a long time. Super fresh. The onion rings were fabulous!!the service was excellent I walked in to order take out it was ready quickly and the server was super friendly. The restaurant is really cute inside. Lots of conversation pieces and things to look at.

What a very cute quaint place, has the southern hospitality not found in NY where we located from. Highly recommend this location, Cheryl our server was simply gracious and super friend, good was very very good, we will certainly come back here many times. -Bill and Mariel

Such a fun little place! Need to come just for the ambiance, but stay for the good food. Had an amazing, decadent cinnamon roll, chipped beef on toast, fried chicken tenders/fried okra, and shrimp & grits. Everyone loved what they got. You need to wait outside to check in, someone will come and grab you to sit inside shortly. Pay at the counter after you eat. So delicious!

Stoooed at the quirky place on our way over to the airport. Had to laugh at the name and all the weird things inside and out here. They have a large menu with tons of breakfast options and sandwiches for lunch. The pricing wasn't bad. I was a little surprised that the servings weren't as large as some other diners have, but there was enough food. The food quality was average diner food, the food was quickly brought out and was piping hot. I ordered chicken and biscuits. It came with a side of sausage gravy, not exactly sure why. I did end up eating the chicken separate of the biscuit. There were two smaller tenders which were flavorful. The biscuit was fresh and fluffy. I also am not a grits fan so I opted to the Homefries. The three staff members that helped us were friendly and checked in frequently.

Great little spot. Food was hot, fresh and tasty. The service was great. Don't forget to add your name to the list outside under the yellow arrow if there is a wait.

I had heard such great things about this place, but I was quite disappointed. It really began with the aggressive signs outside stating "we say Merry Christmas" and "we say amen at the table", " if this offends you then you can leave". I would hope that restaurants in 2022 would understand and show compassion to people who have religions different than their own. I found that incredibly rude. In addition the food is just fine. Normal diner food but not necessarily worth the wait. The final straw was seeing the rear end of a deer stuck to the wall or perhaps the creepy mannequin lady that you pass coming into or exiting the restaurant. Parking lot is quite small as well but not a place I'd recommend.

We had lunch catered at work and the vendor ordered Squat N Gobble due to online reviews and being a local business. I was very underwhelmed. We received several options for our boxed meals; grilled or fried fish sandwich, Greek burger, chicken salad, greek salad with grilled chicken, and a crab cake sandwich. I opted for the grilled fish sandwich, and was pretty disappointed. There was no flavor on the filet at all. It was served on a plain burger bun with lettuce and tomato, and a side salad. I was starving an hour after lunch. The feedback I heard around the break room was the food was good, but not great. Unfortunately I cannot speak for the restaurant service or price, but I would not go here for lunch on my own.

Small town diner feel. Husband had gyro with chips and I had BLT and potato wedges. Good food and inexpensive.

We went there to get the beef short rib only to go to order it, they didn't have it that night, they were out and it was their main feature item on the website. So I ordered the steak with corn risotto ($45) only to get 4 small pieces of steak maybe 4 oz and no risotto so they gave me white rice with pieces of corn In It. The rice was so dry so I asked for chimichurri thinking this would help and they had that on the menu serving with the flank steak and wouldn't you know it they were out of that as well. Service was really slow there was 4 of us they finally gave us our cocktails after 15 wait (again we were the first ones there) then delivered only 2 drinks to our table we had to wait 5-7 minutes to get the other 2. I eventually went to the bar to get the drinks myself. The martinis were small not even a normal martini glass and watered down. $18 per The food and drinks was expensive for what you got. We will never go back over priced poor service and just Ok food

Everyone got their meal except my daughter, she ordered a simple burger. The table was finishing their meal when her lunch finally arrived. My $20 omelet had velveta poured all over the top of it. Then as the hattrick, finally our side of potatoes came out but my plate along with my fork had already been picked up so how was I supposed to eat them? Drinks were extremely slow to arrive and were very expensive. $17 for a Micheleda (for beer?!?!) that I couldn't even finish because it was overly limy. The topper, they made us pay for the burger and potatoes that arrived 15 mins late... Ugh

She described all the specials in great detail many of which we ended up ordering. The fried green tomato salad was awesome as was the grilled romaine wedge. I had the veal osso bucco which was delicious and cooked perfectly. Others had the scallops the Viener schnitzel the crispy duck and the pasta all of which everyone loved. I would strongly encourage you to check it out the next time you're in Bluffton. We will definitely be back

I had high hopes for this from what I've been told by others. Total disappointment…read more First, the service was awful. We got there 15 minutes after they opened and the only ones seated at the bar. You would think they would be on top of things that early in the evening. Nope, my wife had to wait 18 minutes to get her wine (which we bought the whole bottle). Second, they haven't changed their fryer oil in FOREVER!!!! Yes, I know what I'm talking about. As it being an open kitchen and you can see everything. We witnessed them take oil they just cooked in a pan and dump it in the fryer with the other oil. Are ya kidding me??? All the fried food came out dark as all get out it's been that long since they changed it or even filtered it. Third, some of the cook wore gloves and others didn't. No big deal normally. I watched one cook reach in the garbage and then proceeded to start preparing food!!!! No fing way!!!! Four, the Egg Roll was bland, the inside ingredients was garbage. Over cooked and tough. My wife's filet was under seasoned (well no seasoning at all), a cheap cut of meat and dry!!! The béarnaise sauce tasted and looked like it came out of a jar. It was the worst I've ever tasted. She asked for no vegetables and the risotto instead. She did get the risotto. I'll admit, that wasn't so bad. The bread that was under the filet was ICE cold. Not even sure why they served it or put it on the plate. Fifth, this is a one and done for us. There are soooooo many better options in the area with a better menu, price and service. To say disappointing is an understatement. Oh ya, almost forgot. We had to get a Togo bag and it reminded me of the bags you use to pick up your dogs poop. I'm not even joking.

Hi Everyone, Where…read moredo you go for forty-seven? "Comon Man", for 47? Forty-seven year old Birthday? Nah...forty-seven years of Wedded Bliss, if that even exists, in OZ? Gentleman, in my opinion here, you have to be careful to make it, a very memorable evening, enjoyed by all, but not to fantastic, or over the top, because then, what do you do, to top it, for the 50th? Yes, hope does spring eternal, my love, when you are so throughly happy! But where to go? Truffles Cafe to the rescue! Hun, Honey? Are you sure you want to go there for our Anniversary? "Yes, I really do as I have always wanted to try it." Done! If my muse is happy, I adjust my aura as that puts us both in the Zen zone, together. But who to accompany you, and the love of your existence? A couple, with which you both enjoy sharing your life's events as they are a lot of fun. In our opinion, the word "Cafe", in Truffles name is a misnomer. And I get it, with their Parmesan Truffle Fries, and Baked Brie appies, or Chicken Pot Pie and Grilled Meatloaf, entrees, ok, Cafe. However, It clearly does not convey the breath, strength, and depth of this excellent restaurants' fare, service, and well appointed, pleasant, and soothing ambiance. All, but one of our meals were exceptional. Our Tuna Wonton appetizer was a tastebud lollapalozer. Yes, yes, yes, again, and again, please. Their Caesar Salad was very tasty. Then followed by the Mango glazed Salmon was delisheoso. Translation, order it, and savory each bite of this wonderful meal. Their Fresh Catch was Halibut which was fantastically prepared, and season oh so nice, you should have it twice. Their Full Rack of Baby Back's with their savory, tastebud thrilling, tangy, BBQ sauce, fell apart in my mouth, and were a thrill to consume with the delightful glass of Cabernet, I chose. Similar, but nothing like being a part of our shared essence, for our forty-seven years of joy, laughter, pleasure, commitment, and passionately expressed love for each other, which is never misunderstood, because it comes from the very fiber of our beings! Ya can't fake, great! The exception to our Anniversary ballgame score, Sports Fans was the Grilled Tuna as the male, in our terrific friends couple, felt it was over cooked, did not deliver the taste, nor texture we were all enjoying in each of our taste centric appetisers, salads, and entrees. Keeping score? Well at this point, it is 6-1, but we are not done! Our service was very good, meaning, pleasant, polite, and efficient and would have qualified as outstanding, except... later, below. Truffles Cafe's own Key Lime Pie which we shared (did I mention the FULL Rack of Ribs?) was mouth watering, smooth, with a sinful, flavor that dares you to remain good. I wish you well with your conflict. We gave in, and feel so much better for it, in our failure to be good. Billy Joel's lyric I feel said it best, "I'd rather laugh with the sinners, than cry with the Saints, the sinners are much more fun," so be bad, it's only desert, Pilates will there tomorrow. The Blondie, we were told was delicious with its competing chocolate and caramel sauces putting your tastebuds squarely, in flavor-town. Ok Sports Fans, we can update our score at 9-1.5. What? Well, in my opinion, one thing that Truffles Cafe needs to fix today, is the way our bill was presented. I we received no itemized receipt at all, but only a total with sales tax and a request for our form of payment, which, in our opinion, is not professional. It was our 47th Wedding Anniversary, so I decided to let it go. But again, in my opinion, this should never happen. But back to our ball game Anniversary score, and "Mighty Casey at The Bat", hit a Grand Slam somewhere in downtown Mudville. So there is tremendous joy, a longing to return to all that fun, and most especially to reacquaint, while emerging ourselves in all that delicious fare. So we invite all of you to try Truffles Cafe in Bluffton, SC, as we feel when you add up your own score, you will find it is a win for you and yours. So be there or be square! Know what I mean, Jellybean? Enjoy!
