What is awesome about this business is the techs come to you. So I made the inquiry online and Ivan called me right away. He could have gone to me but I had to be in Boston so he met me at my location. Within 45 minutes, met back up with him and my phone was fixed like new. Prices are reasonable as well. With Verizon (and Best Buy) offering decent buy backs for my iPhone 4s, I ordered my new iPhone 6 and decided to get my old one fixed up. New phone: $200. Fixing my shattered front screen with iCracked: $79 (75+tax). Trade-in value if cracked: $5. I went online, put in my info, and got a text within 10 minutes. We set up the appt (for him to meet me and fix my phone). I set it up at work. He showed up on time, used my desk to work (it really requires taking the entire thing apart) and fixed it. He was nice, billed my credit card, and off he went. Nice service. It's the second time I've had my screen fixed - first was at a mall kiosk. Had to wait and cost me about $90. Called in the morning, all fixed in the afternoon. New LCD on my iPhone6. Works perfectly and I never had to leave the office. He was on time (even trackable) and got right down to business. 2.5 stars, but I'll round up. The convenience factor was huge. The technician came to my office and was very kind. I was able to track his status on a map, like an Uber car. Payment and correspondence was also easy-- I could pay with a credit card and could text to confirm all the details of my appointment. Where it's lacking is the product materials themselves-- the replacement glass on my screen has made my phone's execution of touch commands or finger motions sluggish and unresponsive. it's very difficult to type, buttons are not sensed, and it does not feel nearly as fluid as my old (original) screen even when it was partially cracked. I'm guessing the replacement glass is a low quality. Not a knock on my technician Walace, he was very kind and efficient. I suggest the company looks into a higher quality of replacement screen material. read more

The good - The technician was awesome. The service is convenient. The price is fair. The bad - the product is garbage. I've had two screens now. The first replacement was defunct in a matter of days. It took weeks of a backordered part to replace only for the same issue to persist. I wish I read the bad part reviews as it seems this is how they've done business for some time now and haven't learned to test and quality control their screens. Selections become swipes. Touches do not register whatsoever. The letter B will be so far off the Y is selected and so on. It's so. Bad. Counting the days until I can upgrade and get rid of the phone that was better off with a cracked screen. read more

I had an iCracked repairman come to my apartment and was impressed by the conveinence and ease with fixing my phone within a few hours of breaking it. However after the fix, my Battery life has become extremely short. It cannot last through the night from 100% battery in airplane mode. Additionally, I can no longer use my touch ID. Lastly, all software updates are receiving an error because of this broken touch ID. Do not use this service. I had an inexperienced repairman staring at a "repair manual" on his own phone and it turns out he broke most of my phones capabilities. read more

I booked an appointment past midnight yesterday - and at 7 a.m. Walace was here and happily fixing my shattered screen. I think it took 20 minutes. I dropped my phone last night, away from home, and we found this place around 1130p on a Saturday night. Submitted the inquiry form and got a text back ONE minute later from JT. Within 15 minutes I had a house call set for Sunday afternoon, and now my iPhone looks like new again! JT was on time and professional, and the repair was faster than advertised. I have used Dan's service twice so far. The first time was after I shattered my phone back in December. Dan was on time for a convenient appointment and did a good job reapiring my phone. He was quick to establish a rapport which is important because it is quite an experience seeing someone open your phone up in front of you. Unfortunately, within a couple of months the screen started to come out of the phone. I am not an expert but I do not believe this to have been due to the installation but rather it appeared to be a function of the hardware having a defect. I called Dan directly and he came out the next day to repair and replace the screen, which was done free of charge. I am not sure what it costs to have the Apple Store do this for you. If my phone were newer I would have taken it there but this phone was a couple years old so I wasn't worried about the warranty. read more

To update my earlier review of this " business " I'm in the 4th week of waiting for my IPad to be repaired and returned and ICracked still can't give me a timetable of when I'll get it back. They have never returned a phone call and their emails give no information just the usual crap to try to pacify you so you will stop bothering them. Icracked on the same day told me the IPad was sent back to me , that they needed the passcode to work on it and they had no record of it, all in the same day. My iphone 6 was completely cracked and I was very conveniently able to schedule an appointment with icracked who came to me. That's where the problem began. The tech was nice, my phone appeared to be completely fixed until I began using it. The battery now drains in an hour or two, any time I am on the phone, it often begins facetiming that person and hangs up, or the mute button is hit constantly. I brought it in to apple and they could not update it. When they opened the phone they could tell my phone had been repaired with non-apple parts. This apparently completely voids any warranty you have. My phone is 4 months old so would have been covered for a year, but not now!!! Putting in the non-apple parts also prevents any updating! So now I paid 180$ for nothing and need a new phone. It's aweful, highly disappointed, don't risk using this service, just go to apple. read more

Galvin is a nice guy. Came out and "fixed" my iPhone. Didn't connect the battery right so now it won't charge. We scheduled 3 appointments for him to return and he's blown off all three with a call to text. A few hours (now days) later he might text back to setup the next appointment that he obviously has no intention of keeping. Called iCracked support and after being on hold for 5-10 minutes they said they were too busy and to call back later. Keep away and stick to the mall kiosks, at least you know where and when to find them. read more

Horrible! We had the phones screen replaced. And the very next day it started to malfunction ! Not unlocking, typing on its own, can't press certain letters on the keyboard! Kevin was in constant contact with me from the minute I plugged in my phone # to the Icracked website. We set up a mobile meeting the next day, 10AM. He met me a few hundred yards from my work, I dropped off my phone, filled out paper work (1 sheet) and off I went. "Should be about an hour' Kevin said and he would call my work phone or email me when it was ready. Aprox 35-40 minutes later I got an email, then call, my phone was fixed and ready! I went back to Kevin's car, he fixed my phone and included a screen scratch guard and new case! I was thrilled as I needed both. All this for $90, no traveling to Verizon knockoff store, the mall, etc...Verizon charges $200, Apple $100, others and lowest I found was $90...but none with mobile service and the extras included! I contacted Ickraked because i needed my phone and tablet screen repaired and they sent one of their Techs curtis to do the repair. The day after he repaired my phone the screen was falling off so when he came to drop off my iPad he replaced the screen, he said that there was a bubble on the screen. The following day i placed a call and i was not able to hear the person on the line, i immediately informed curtis and when he had a chance he stopped by and tested the phone and confirmed that i was right. Once again he replaced the screen and i gave him my tablet to fix because the screen was falling off. This time after he left i noticed that he did not properly install the phone screen because i could not use the left side of the screen. He promised to drop off my tablet and fix the screen in 2 days but he did not show up until two weeks later after me begging him to return my tablet and fix my phone. But guess what happened the screen of my tablet was coming off again and i have not been able to accept any phone calls from my phone because i cannot hear anything. Curtis refuses to give me a refund/to come and fix my phone and tablet. Icraked say that they are not responsible because curtis is a local boston franchisee and not one of their employees. However, Icraked have a lifetime warranty policy but they also refuse to send another tech to fix my phone. I want my money back so that i can have my phone and tablet properly fixed. btw i had my phone and tablet tested by another tech and they said that there is nothing wrong with neither of them. The tech is incompetent and i want my money back. Cant speak for the rest of the techs but if curtis is your repair tech RUN!!!! read more

Let me start by saying that on a normal basis, I never take time out of my busy day to write reviews, good or bad, with everything else that has to get done on a daily basis. However, after such a horrible experience, I want to make sure nobody else has to go through the hoops and hurdles I had to, and to receive your phone/device back in worse condition than when you handed it over. I used JT Shepple, an "I-cracked technician" out of Bolton Ma. I was skeptical from the start to just hand over a brand new phone with water damage to someone, with no contract agreement or even proof of handing my device over for him to "ship out" to the headquarters. I paid him 20 dollars merely to sit down, have him tell me there was nothing more he could do with his equipment, and then another 8 to cover shipping to California where their I-cracked headquarters is located. On there site I believe it states you receive your device back within a week fixed or NOT. ALSO I was told there is rarely a scenario where the headquarters cannot fix or replace something. Hoping for the best and vulnerable at the time, I left the phone in his hands. I explained that my phone contained the ONLY pictures of my daughter who passed away after delivery, and that I need to receive this phone back. He told me they send it back weather they can fix it or not. It was over 2 months later that I still had not heard anything back, and not even as much as a follow up from JT. When I finally contacted him myself, asking as to how much longer it might be, he told me that they have a lot of devices and it is very busy. Another 3 months passed and still no phone. For the sake of those reading this review, to make a long story short. I ended up contacting the headquarters in California myself, only to converse back and forth via email and phone with their supervisor for weeks about how he is contacting JT and trying to have him "locate" my phone. He stated he is shocked at the technicians behavior and everything else that the consumer wants to hear. He stated there was never anything on file that my device had ever been looked at or even arrived at the headquarters. When I threatened JT with contacting police for stealing my phone, he returned it to me not only still broken, but now with a shattered glass back. He told me this was the condition that the headquarters had returned it to him in. Needless to say I will NEVER EVER make this mistake again, he is a thief and most likely profits off of parts on your device after deeming it "unfixable". The headquarters never compensated me for the device, or even followed up after he returned the phone to me. Save the money and questioning, go to the auburn mall and have 911 I-phone repair take care of it in front of you. read more
