Visited the store last week Thursday to fix my broken screen, they fixed it and I was really impressed. All my life i had been told not to trust these kind of shops and I felt that that opinion was no longer correct. Until I got home realising that now my Audio and speakers on my phone no longer worked. I went into the store that following sunday store is meant to open at 10am it opens at 10.30am. I asked another shop owner if they still open Sundays I was told that they do but they are always late. Waited around in the shop for 1h 30 mins while my phone is being looked at but the problem persisted even after being told its sorted. Went back on monday and the manager sorted the issue finally. To be honest after this experience i wouldn't go back. I would be a fool to go back there for anything. Not trustworthy, bad timekeeping and unprofessional. The guy that spoke to me on Sunday had no manners. Update.... Few days later I realised that the screen had not been glued on properly and there was a gap, then now it has broken again... Screen doesn't work and they are too disgusting to refund me. It was a rush job for £60. What a waste of money. read more

This is pretty damn awesome. These guys will come to you for any phone repair you need. I shattered my screen and Jason came to my job to work on the repair. It took him about 30 minutes or so to fix it. This is a great deal...you don't have to travel or spend money to go to a store. If you mention Yelp, you'll receive 10% off the total cost. Great, quick, responsive service! You make an appointment on the Boston Phone Guys website, and input the address you want him to meet you. This is the best part of his service; he comes to you where ever you are in Boston, so you save time and transportation fees! I've used them a few times, not only do they come to you but they are completely honest, my last visit the technician told me it was actually my Gorilla Glass screen cover that had shattered and I wouldn't need the screen replaced. Jason was very professional and personable. His communication from estimate to completion was excellent. There was a slight delay in his arriving for the appointment we made, and he called well ahead of time to check that this was ok. His servicing of 2 iPhones was done 100%, quickly, and was a good value. He was not 100% sure of the condition of a replacement screen he first installed, and without prompting immediately changed it out for another new replacement that looked perfect to him. He just came to my office to fix my phone, which was completely shattered after someone had stolen it and then hurled it onto the sidewalk (I disabled it and the guy who stole it freaked out... long story). This guy saved my phone (and my wallet). I had run over my phone back in the first snow storm of the winter. Unbelievably, my phone still worked, but the screen was shattered. I used my phone for months before it stopped working. It was freezing and lagging all over the place. I called them (from another phone) and they said they might be able to fix it, and if not, that wouldn't charge me. Jason does excellent work. He is responsive, arrived in less than 30 minutes and replaced my iPhone battery is less than 10 minutes. I had called him once before when the screen on my iPhone was acting strangely. He took my phone apart and didn't find anything wrong and surmised that it was a software problem. HANDS DOWN THE BEST REPAIR SERVICE.. TRUST ME!!! If I could give 10 Stars I would! I am the queen of breaking iPhone screens. I blame it on my obsession to have cute phone cases. I messaged Jason late and the afternoon to see if he could fix my phone. I ended forgetting I messaged him and went to lunch...I looked around downtown at all the places you will find on yelp that repairs cell phones. Every last one of them wanted 180 to 200 dollars (mega phone or whatever they call themselves, Dr. Phil, Etc.) When I tell you don't go to those places, the prices change every week and so do their employees aka family members. Keep in mind they have mixed reviews.I knew that was a ridiculous price so I went back to work. I realized I messaged Jason at this point and seen that he responded and told me he could meet me at my job. He literally came to my job in less than an hour from us talking. Took my beat up IPhone (and I mean cracked, could not swipe or even turn on settings) and started working in his car. (FYI I work in one of those fancy office bldgs. where you need to have an access card that's why he was working in his car) Poor guy had to move his car because of the parking lady but he was done in less than 25 mins. The Phone was just like New and for $130 that was the cheapest price I could find and I've tried places everywhere( Kiosk in port authority NY, square one mall, downtown Boston and some in Everett) I have two phones and my insurance cut me off lol... Normally by end of the day I would have problems with the phone (skipping, not responding fast enough) I swear it just like knew.
