Food varies on how good it will be that day. Wednesday is the best to go in my opinion because they have a burritos.

Walked in to pick up a take out order and stood there for 15 minutes! I'm not exaggerating. 15 minutes before I saw anyone that worked there. It was like I entered the twilight zone. The place was open but everybody was gone. I was about to walk back to he kitchen and I looked though the kitchen window to the back room and saw all the servers sitting back there eating together. The other time I ordered take out they told me it would be ready in 20 minutes and it took an hour and 15 minutes. Clearly mismanaged. If this restaurant were off base it would be out of business. My review is strictly for the take-out service. It's terrible. read more

They recently started serving and delivering pizza on base and it's surprisingly really good. It's much better than the other pizza places in town and I'd strongly recommend it over Dominos if you live on base and want something delivered. read more

I love Spuds, I have had repeated great visits! The staff is friendly and we have gotten to know them a bit. The atmosphere is relaxed, menu is good and prices are fair! I love it! great desserts and full bar right here on the base. We definitely won't stop visiting. Good Eats! read more

Its ok. Could use a better menu and don't order the coleslaw. Made me sick. Food is inconsistent but most of the time the chicken sandwichs are good. Fries are good and wide selection of alcohol. read more

Sadly I've eaten here about 4 times. I only go back because it's the only place to have a quiet meal on base. Doesn't matter what you get it will be Luke warm. Home made root beer is flat, every time. Service is slow. Make the drive to town if you can. read more

This place is in need of new management from the wait staff to the kitchen. Its far worst than Naps. (.The previous restaurant on base which sucked too) They're slow the food taste like they're cooking for a baby..(bland).,, horrible... It is good for what it is: an MWR facility with basic food. I've been to the restaurant a few times and my meal has never disappointed. Took a little while to catch the waitress' attention most of the time, but she was happy and helpful otherwise. The bar side is really nice and the drinks are priced pretty low. If you sit at the bar for football Sundays, you are bound to get good service. Nothing like a breakfast burrito and a screwdriver while your team is playing. I would recommend this place to most people on base--unless they are picky and whiners. read more

I was excited to hear there would be a new restaurant at NAS Lemoore. I had a great experience both times dining at Spuds. The first time My daughter was giving a small portable video game while we waited for our food, which I thought was very clever. We had to wait a long time, but it was to be expected since it was the first week they opened. It made up with the friendly staff and awesome food. The tri tip dinner was delicious and I have to recommend the home aid brewed root beer. I just went yesterday for lunch and ordered the tuna fish sandwich It was also great and worth the $6.00 I paid. It's one of the on-base eating establishments, where you can get burgers, pub grub and billiards. If you're here during the regular crew mess times, there's more selection. The staff really tries hard; the base commander is really invested in making NAS Lemoore a community. Spuds is an integral part of that community building. Think of it as the base's version of "Cheers". Basically, nice place to get some decent food and you don't have to go off base. read more

Took my grandparents-in-law here. So we had two middle-aged people and two elderly people dining. They sat us next to a table of young moms and about 4 young young children who cried and yelled the whole time... Keep in mind the whole restaurant was empty. After that, they messed up our order. Not only did they bring my grandmother-in-law a sirloin after she ordered a filet mignion, but made the sirloin WELL done when she ordered medium-rare. Same with my steak and my grandfather-in-law's steak - it was WELL WELL WELL done rather than medium rare. Also, they brought my grandmother-in-law a twice-baked potato instead of her rice pilaf, and never brought me the vegetables I ordered. SO they brought us the correct steaks, or so we thought. My tri-tip was rough and grisly, and my grandmother-in-law's "filet mignon with bacon" had no bacon, and the waitress had the audacity to ARGUE with us about whether there was bacon or not. There was obviously NO BACON wrapped around the steak, and the waitress said "Oh - see it's right there" but there was no bacon. Anyways. After they brought our food out in pieces, it was ok. But between the crying infants during the 70 minutes we were there, and the horriffic, argumentative staff, it was definitely not worth the $80 we paid for the meal. I recommend telling them explicitely that you want to be seated AWAY from anyone else, and make sure the staff knows exactly what you mean by medium-rare. On a slow night like we went (4 tables there, tops) it was an horriffic experience. Only reason I will be returning is because they are the only place that is not 10 minutes+ away. Decent food on other occassions, but slow, 1st-time-server experience. If you are looking to impress your guests, this is NOT the place. read more

Best pizza in the area in my opinion. Decently priced, large portions and delicious! Courteous staff, free delivery (on base) and quick service. They also gave us a menu with a fridge magnet! Pizza is after 4pm only! Pizza is the only takeout they offer, however the Brew Pub next door does do some takeout items. read more

I have been enjoying meals here on a consistent basis, most of which a well prepared. My only issue is to many fry foods, which is not healthy. You can sit and enjoy a good meal while watching TV. There is access to the computer stations and a pool table in the Pub. The area is great. Highly recommended if you are on BASE. read more

On Dec03, I was order 5 pizzas,but they are disgusting and expensive. This is the most unpalatable pizza I have ever eaten.And cashier's service attitude was very very bad! I will never come here to order pizza, it's a bad experience. read more

Only been here twice ordered the same thing both times. 1st time it was great second time it was horrible. Pizza didn't have any sauce salad was wilted, and appetizer was over fried. Portions are not true to size . Staff could use a attitude check. Went in a lot to have lunch all the time always had the same issue where the portions just seem to keep getting smaller and the attitude on the staff was just horrible. I've given this newest iteration of Spuds a couple tries and can not recommend it to anyone that actually has to pay for it. The food is average, the service is good, but the price for what you recieve is too high. The older version had a much better menu, the current itteration is nothing more than an over priced replacement of the galley at over double the price with less options than before all in all equaling out to be not worth your time or money. read more

Spuds has good days and bad days. It's good to make sure your silverware is actually clean before use. If there's nothing appealing to you in the main line you can never go wrong with the "build your own sandwich" line and also the salad bar. I really wish they would get ice cream! read more

Terrible place to eat. The silverware and plates are usually dirty. The trays are never dry and they usually run out of food. Everyone is very unprofessional and seem like they don't want to help. Spuds didn't really live up to the hype for me.I had the fajitas and they were so spicy it made me sick. WAY too much red pepper. It took FOREVER to seat us. We stood in the front of the kiosk for about 5 minutes before anyone noticed us. Mind you, there was only one other family there. Then it took our waitress forever to come take our oders/drinks/food. I'd definitely rather drive out into town to eat. Husband didn't like his food either and the portions were super small. read more

Typical on-base establishment. The food I've had there wasn't too bad, but the service is terrible. Weather I'm going there for food, or just to watch the game at the bar. Awful Service. Oh btw, it's not a "Full Bar". There have been times that I couldn't get a drink as simple as a White Russian. The bartenders seem to not care. Staff is horrible, service sucks and food is over priced for what you get and NOT tasty at all. Very disappointing since they are on the military base you think prices would be reasonable with friendly staff since we have all the same things in common. I love this place!!!! They have a nice menu, with a wide choice of great food to choose from. Their prices are unbelievable, especially for what you get. They are much better than any other restaurant in the area. I come here from San Diego for work and look forward to eating here every trip. They even have a full bar with several pool tables, many computers for surfing, and a micro brewery. I can't say enough good things about SPUDS!!!! read more

This wasn't bad for what it was. We were looking for an old fashion NCO Club were we could get a good steak dinner. What we got were cold sandwiches with chips, potato salad and some sort of gewy chocolate something for dessert that was really good. For cold sandwiches (subway style or wrapes) they were good. This is a review of Spuds Brew Pub, which is an adults-only annex to the restaurant. Spuds Brew Pub is quite simply the best sports bar I've ever seen. It has its own on-the-premises micro brewery with several nice beer choices and it has a very good selection of other tap beers as well. Flat screens turned to various sports are everywhere, including in several semi-private nook areas where you can watch the game of your choice from a comfortable sofa. Two Winmau 4 dart boards with excellent lighting and cork wall backing. Several pool tables. Several video game players. Several computers for going on line. And the room is HUGE so everything has lots of space. There are both indoor and outdoor tables. Very good pub food from its adjoining restaurant, and the staff is cheerful and friendly. It has an ATM machine and clean restrooms. What more could you want in a sports bar? This really is as good as it gets. read more
