Friendly staff, well-stocked shop, fair prices, and convenient location. I called ahead of time to fix my new ebike which was slightly damaged during shipping. Mike promised a reasonable one day turn-around. I got notified 2 hours later that it was ready for pickup. Great bike shop period! Amazing customer service all around. Came here this past weekend to have them take a look at my bike, it was making a rattling noise & was hard to pedal on. As predicted, it wasn't worth getting it fixed. I was recommended to purchase a new one instead for the cost of what it'll be to get it fixed. Since I planned on beach cruising that day, I asked if they had any bike rental available and they did, at $8 an hour. Abel was helping me out & quickly brought one out & I was on my way. I was able to leave my broken bike behind while I used theirs too. The rental was a smooth rider, they even added the basket & lock when I asked! Overall, I had a very pleasant experience here at Sprocket. Big Thanks to Abel who was very kind and helpful. I'm now in the market for an electric bike. Brought my less than 1 year old Allied Alpha road bike to the crew at Sprockets after factory was unable to solve significant noise issues since new. Paul took the challenge and after rigorous methodical troubleshooting isolated the issue to the the carbon frame flexing under load with the Zipp seat post. Alloy seat post installed and months of listening to awful creaking solved. He also isolated random rattling to poorly installed internal wirings (DI2) by the factory. Facts: manufacturer unable to fix- $$ Other local store mechanics unable to fix after $$$ Sprockets able to fix! $. They deserve 10 stars. Now my go to recommended shop! read more

I was there for a popped tire. They replaced the tube in 10 mins and also made a couple adjustments on my bike (tightening spokes, straightening wheel, taking the rocks out of tire which may have caused the popped tube) which I really appreciated. Good dudes! read more

Went in in person. Bought a pair of cycling shorts . Asked about tune up on my e bike . The young lady turned to the guy I always see working on bikes and asked how much difference there was in contrast to a regular bike. He quoted $90 in front of me said it was like regular bike price. Today I brought my bike in they explained it would be 20 days, the 26th before they could do the requested maintenance. Ok ..took bike home no problem fo far I called to make appointment to bring bike in on June 26th as requested but the PRICE WENT UP TO $150 !!!!!!!. CLEAR CASE OF PRICE GAUGING Ive brought my business to this place for a couple of years . But no more. They are CLEARLY TAKING ADVANTAGE OF OUR COMMUNITY. I network with a lot of bicyclist and we will all agree we will take our business somewhere else.......GOODBYE sprocket. Highway robbery - Replaced two road bike tires with continental gatorskin 23mm - They charged me 69.99 per tire .... I was a little shocked that that was the price for one tire so I looked it up on Amazon and saw that you can buy two for $62. That is less than half the price per tire. I informed them of my findings and was promptly told that is amazon and thank you for supporting your local business - We are selling them at MSRP. I was not going to argue so I paid and left. I did a little more investigation at home and saw that even at REI they cost $44 each (normal price - not on sale) - So I am pretty sure prices were made up on the fly for me. Stopped in to see what they had and how the service was. i liked the clean and open and brightness of the shop and sales area. the guy working was nice and helped me out when i needed it. They carry mid level quality range of bikes. mostly Scott and BMC brand bikes, and thats not a bad thing. these names are some of the best in cycling, you cant go wrong with this stuff. They also had a few high end models, but most of it was road and MTB mid/entry level stuff. they did have beach cruisers, and some misc stuff, fat tire and TT bikes. They also had a good selection of parts for all kinds of bikes. as well as shoes, clothes, tires, bags, seats, baskets etc. not a big shop, but had a good selection of stuff for its size. Great location by the beach if you're in Redondo then this shop could be a great place to go for parts and service. read more

These guys are great! I've been taking my road bike to them for annual tuneups/safety inspections for 8 years. A couple of years ago they discovered a hairline crack in an obscure spot in one of the smaller struts of the frame where the rear brake is mounted, long story short , the mfr replaced the frame. More recently turned a minor negative into a big time positive! My bike wasn't ready at the promised time so wasted trip/time for me. Later that evening I got an extremely apologetic phone call and they offered to come by my house and drop off my bike, because they were concerned I might have been planning to go for a ride 1st thing in the next morning & didn't want me to miss it.
