It's a bar. It's a bar that has some pretty darn good food. I wouldn't call it a gastropub but I would call it a sports bar. They had the Warriors/Cavs & US/Equador (I think) games going and I enjoyed a tasty IPA and a very tasty Philly Steak Sandwich. It was loud .. you know .. because its a sports bar. Our waitress was very attentive considering the screaming (men screaming because I think the Cavs were winning). Apparently they have BBQ but I didn't try it. Might have to stop by one day to grab some ribs or brisket. Great choice for a very casual dinner with really good food and a few excellent beer options. read more

I went to Sporty's for their so called good meats. I got the beef brisket plate to go. It was horrible, the beef brisket was not even edible. Tons of fat and the part that wasn't fat Wa so dry and tough I had to spit it out. I tried to like it and keep eating it but it got worse. I ended up throwing away my food. Actually nothing was good. The mashed potatoes were way too garlicky, the baked beans were dry and disgusting and the corn bread was a joke, I threw it away and I love cornbread. I've literally never met a piece of cornbread I didn't like until now. Wth man, not good at all. read more

Sporty's just catered a retirement party at our home for 60 people. Food was delicious and delivery and pick up were perfect. Pulled pork sandwiches and spicy sauce was a huge hit! We would definitely use them again. Thank you Joe! read more

I love Sporty's. It has such a friendly, welcoming atmosphere for a bar. I've never been disappointed in the food and the service is top-notch. The one thing you have to know, if you've never been here, is that the menus are on the table - they look like newspapers. I've seen people sit and wait for a server to bring them a menu, not realizing they had it all along. My only complaint is that the chairs in the dining area are too hard. I'd sit and stay a while but my butt hurts by the time I'm done with dinner. Other than that, I really enjoy this place. Even though I'm not a big sports fan and I don't drink. read more

Nice sports bar, plenty of TVs and always a good seat available to watch your favorite team. The owners and staff are good folks, friendly and real. The food is quite good by "bar" standards, the sandwiches are piled high, the burgers are real (not those frozen disks) and they do a great BBQ in the smokehouse out back. Weekly specials include $1 tacos on Tuesday, big and yummy ! The beers are cold and reasonable , the crowd generally friendly , and this is a REAL sports bar , with real sports fans rooting for their teams. Fun place to go catch a big game, grab a bite, and have a beer or two. Stop in there a few times and both the regulars and the staff will know your name and give you a warm welcome. They are crazy about the Silvertips here, all the away games are shown on the big screen and the Tips radio show is often broadcast live here . Kids are welcome until 9:00 pm , and there are LOTS of fun pub games like shuffleboard, darts, foos,pool, and of course video games to keep everybody happy. I have never felt the need to review a bar before but my experience here was less than bearable. I ordered a juicy Lucy, which is supposed to be a burger with a patty that is stuffed with cheese and is advertised as such in their menu. The first time it came there was a gaping hole in the center of the burger patty and absolutely no cheese inside. So I had it sent back in hopes that they'd get it right the second time. About 40 ish minutes later it comes back out again this time with no hole and again no cheese in the center of the patty. It was raw and very undercooked. My whole party was finished eating by the time I sent it back for the second time, ordering a completely different burger. And even the third burger was just subpar. I've never sent anything back in my life and never left a plate as full as I did tonight. Disappointment is what I felt leaving Sporty's this evening because my first visit was pleasant. But after waiting for nearly two hours for a meal tonight I will not be returning. read more

The ribs were tough with an offensive bar-b-que sauce. Id advise the cook to cook the ribs for another five hours and to abandon the spices that you are using. Youd be better to go to the grocery and get an off the shelf sauce. What is that spice you are using...mesquite...or maybe its shavings from pressure treated wood? YUCK! We're from the south where rib meat is falls off the bones. The ribs were tough and dissapointing....nice sign in front though to fool folks into thinking you can bar-b-que. I have been coming to this place for 10 years. The food has always been not that great. Too bad, because they have a full kitchen but seem incapable of producing good food. This used to be family pizza place, converted into a sports bar. It is one of the few places in Everett that comes close to an actual sports bar. Lot of regulars, who get special treatment, avoid sitting in their "area" or you will be treated like an outsider. Service can be amazing one day and then different staff the next is not that great. Place is stuck in 1982. The sound can be way to LOUD on sporting events. Kristen and Andre are regular bartenders, hard working, great service. WAY TO LOUD!!! My boyfriend and I have traveled around quite a bit and this was one place we went to more than once and everything we tried was perfect! From ribs to country fried steak, to half deli sandwiches for lunch they were all spectacular! If you ever find yourself in this area of Washington make the trip to this sports bar! Went for a Hawks game and got there kinda late so no seating except in the back outside. No problem as they have a tv out there. When we asked to turn up the sound on the 2 speakers they have out there the owner comes out and stands under the speaker and proclaims he can hear fine. Went to talk to him and he reeks of alcohol and is slurring his words kicks us out for asking to hear the game. read more

I enjoy these types of bars/pubs. I've been curious of this place for so long. We stopped by after Madison because we were hungry. It was a little slow but that made it even better! I came for the $1 tacos but I ended up getting the club sandwich (and a chicken $1 taco.. because.. come on, it's $1!). The taco was basic, not the greatest, but well worth the price. The club sandwich was awesome. I got it because a coworker had gotten it previously and I sat there salivating wishing I had gotten it. I had to squish the quarter down to fit it in my mouth. I wasn't able to finish all of it because it is huge. I took half home. I would recommend to anyone looking for a reasonably priced casual lunch. read more

Shout out to the crap bartender tonight, looked at us multiple times with ZERO acknowledgement not even a hello or "be right with you". She continued on to serve others. We got up to leave and received some snotty comment as we left. Blonde, thicker and older gal working at 630-7 pm on a Monday night. Won't be back courtesy of her. The only reason I knocked off a star is because there's one waitress that always gets my order wrong and never seems to have common sense enough to fix it. I really like this place, looks to be a little more than a dive from the front, the food and services however is wonderful. I had the black and blue burger and Fry's. As I tried my best to eat the burger without making a mess and the Gorgonzola sauce was dripping out on my plate I thought to myself.... " this is how a GREAT burger should be"! If you find yourself in the north end and you love food, especially BBQ, eat here. Tender delicious brisket with the usual suspect side dishes will not leave you hungry or disappointed. So good, it makes me want to get in my car and drive north, even at 8:30 this morning. This is one of my favorite places in Everett. Their menu has a good variety and the selection doesn't really take anything from the quality of what they're serving. Between happy hour and their weekly specials it is easy to afford eating here. The beer selection is about what you would expect up here, but having moved here from Florida, I'm still impressed by it.
