So when I heard there was a new indoor dog park on the Eastside, I was thrilled! Thus, we come to Ruff Draft. My friends and I came here for an informal pug meetup as Ruff Draft recently opened in Woodinville. It's a great space that offers tons of room for the dogs to run around in and play while the humans can hang out with a pint or two. Before going to Ruff Draft, updated vaccines are required for your dog, which you can easily upload on an online profile that you create, which makes checking in easier. The profile also allows you to save your credit card for payment, which is $12 per day for the dog park. They also offer boarding and daycare services. There's a space for shy, smaller dogs and a larger space for more energetic dogs. Additionally, there's a bar with local taps, including wine, cider and seltzer if you don't want beer, along with some snacks, like bags of chips. You can however bring your own food as they don't have a kitchen. They take reservations if you want to plan your own party, which they charge $50 per hour an additional $20 for every hour after that. Glad Ruff Draft is open, which is a great place to take my dog on those rainy days.

It's hard to leave a negative review for a place you want to support, but after what happened…read moretoday, I feel like I have to share our experience. This was our second visit to Ruff Draft. The first time was awesome. We loved the atmosphere, the beer, the kind man who was serving us, and the space (which has clearly been invested in). Earlier today, my partner, arrived with our dog, Toast, and Rachel, the owner, was there with her German Shepherd, Oliver. My partner asked if Oliver was good with small dogs, and she replied, "95% of the time", which in hindsight should have been a red flag. However, Oliver was playing nicely with a small dog that was in daycare on the other side of the 2 sectioned area so he thought it was fair to ask. Rachel actually discouraged introducing them at first due to her dog having a pacemaker. However, a few minutes later, she asked if Oliver and Toast could meet. She brought Oliver over on leash, handed him his (emotional support) pineapple, and then unclipped him. The second Oliver went through the gate and interacted with Toast, he dropped the pineapple, and bit Toast on the neck. Thankfully my partner reacted immediately and was able to separate them before things further escalated. Rachel immediately put Oliver in a crate and apologized. We checked Toast and he seemed okay, mostly spooked that a large dog approached him aggressively. Unfortunately, we didn't realize Toast had actually been injured until we got home. We took another look and found a puncture wound on his neck. Luckily it wasn't severe and did not fully break through his skin but Oliver still left a mark on my dog (photo attached). What frustrates me is that if you own a dog-friendly taproom (and are a certified trainer), you have a responsibility to provide a safe environment for everyone else's dogs. If your own dog is reactive or unpredictable--even if it's only "5% of the time"--it shouldn't be around customers' dogs. We're glad this wasn't a more serious incident. I wouldn't necessarily tell people to avoid this place altogether because we have had a positive experience previously. That said, I'd be very cautious if the owner's German Shepherd is out. For us personally, this experience has made us lose confidence in the business and we've lost interest in returning. Hopefully the owner takes corrective action on this going forward.

Drinks in a cooler area you can get drinks from and drinks on tap! A perfect spot to hang with friends or watch sports! Not a beer drinker so I like how I can order a cider or get something from the coolers. They have something for everyone and the bartenders are really nice! Very pleased with this spot!

We have 2 bigger dogs and it was our first time there, the community and staff was great with them…read more At first we were nervous because we have a Belgian mix as well as a boxer mix however everyone was really friendly, respectful, and very helpful. One thing we noticed was a couple of smaller dogs wanting to instigate, but the staff was very proactive on noticing the behaviors and acting on them. Our belgian is a newly added rescue family member of ours and is still adjusting, everyone we told that to completely understood. this is a great place for dog people.

The simulators were kind of glitchy at first but I think it was mostly kid operator error - too many kids throwing diff balls at once, etc. Austin was patient with us and got everything working. For this brewery I got a Irish Dry Stout as I haven't had one for a considerable amount of time. This beer was specifically called Friendship Nugget. This beer was okay. I have had better versions of this beer for sure but it was still decent. Flavor features with this beer are roasty and coffee flavors. The beer us nice and smooth in body. The lady that was the beertender was very nice , accommodating and easy to chat with which made our visit pleasant.

It's a very fun retro vibe, with pinball, 4-person Pac-Man game, giant projector TV, and more. The kids play corner is a very nice feature. The beer selection is fantastic and always has some unique offerings. Some of my favorites include the Dragonglass (Black IPA) and Friend in Me (Peanut Butter Stout). There are often fun collab beers as well. Barley Pop continues to host a variety of activities at the brewery which is appreciated. AJ and the team are fantastic people who really care about their customers and the community!
