I happened to visit on a Saturday afternoon with live music which added a ton to the experience. Plenty of easy parking, a food truck was present when I visited, there's a coffee stand in the parking lot, snacks/non alcoholic drinks available for sale inside. Lots of room both inside and out, a large outside area with a couple fire tables and an actual fire pit, some plastic axe throwing and other things, tons of room for dogs and children. Some of the outside area was covered for those days when you want to be outside at a fire table but the weather disagrees. Lots of beers to choose from but also a distillery on site with a separate room and cocktails available for purchase. This room has a fancier decor and is 21 plus if you want to be away from those with children. I guess Glory Bucha Kombucha is also being brewed on site. They were out of the blackberry pale beer when we visited, but plenty of other tasty options on tap. Sounds like they also have a connection with a winery and a cider company. Multiple people behind the bar is also a plus. My only complaint is that a place this large could use more than 2 bathrooms. I'll definitely be adding this to my Snohomish rotation and hope to be back again soon. Fingers crossed I can snag a fire table next time.

The first one I had was the All American Farmhouse Cream Ale which was good. I always enjoy cream ales and wish that I would come across them more often but I always take advantage of the opportunity when I see one. Flavors to expect with this cream ale are creaminess and sweet. The other beer I got in a growler and took it home for Steve to try out. This was an Oatmeal Stout which was very good! Characteristics and flavors to look for is Oatmeal, some coffee, richness and nice and dark. Good first time experience, love the taproom and how it's set up inside a barn and pleasant outdoor seating.

The beer is excellent, especially the seasonal releases. There's always something on tap that makes you slow down, pay attention, and then mentally note, "I need to have this again before it's gone." Thoughtful, well-balanced, and clearly brewed with care. The space has real personality. Han frozen in carbonite on the wall... solo, no Jabba in sight. It sets the tone immediately. Add pinball machines (yes, real pinball), and it feels more like a hangout than a tasting room. There are pinball tournaments! The staff is a huge part of why I keep coming back: friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming without being overbearing. They know the beer, they like the beer, and it shows. Bonus points for being able to bring in local food. Grab something nearby, bring it in, pair it with a great pint, and you're set. They often have food trucks outback, which is great for those nights when you aren't in the mood to cook. Dinner + beer all in one spot. Amazing beer, amazing staff, and a space that gets it right. Volition is exactly what a local brewery should be.

Big bold beers mixed with some great lagers. Skook Beer is one of favorite beers ever! Staff is great and friendly. There are usually food trucks on hand because they do not serve food, and it is 21 and over. Lots of seating indoor and out and is dog friendly. Great place to sit and have a beer and talk with your group! Pay attention to their calendar, they have lots of fun things that happen. New owners have officially taken over so I am excited to see what happens!

The venue was very spacious as expected from a brewery. There were a bunch of wood barrels for their barrel aged offering and stainless steel tanks on the back side of the brewery. They had about 15 to 20 different beers on tap including 2 barrel aged stouts/barley wines and about 6 or 7 different hazy IPAs. They also had one beer named after one of Iron Maiden's songs! (Fear of the Dark!). They do not serve food but they had a vending machine for beef jerky. They allowed dogs indoors. Service was minimal but great. Highly recommended if you're in the area or if you are into craft beer. This is one of the better breweries in Washington for barrel aged beers and hazy NE style IPAs.
