For this brewery I got a Irish Dry Stout as I haven't had one for a considerable amount of time. This beer was specifically called Friendship Nugget. This beer was okay. I have had better versions of this beer for sure but it was still decent. Flavor features with this beer are roasty and coffee flavors. The beer us nice and smooth in body. The lady that was the beertender was very nice , accommodating and easy to chat with which made our visit pleasant.

The beer selection is fantastic and always has some unique offerings. Some of my favorites include the Dragonglass (Black IPA) and Friend in Me (Peanut Butter Stout). There are often fun collab beers as well. Barley Pop continues to host a variety of activities at the brewery which is appreciated. Grumpy orders can either be given to the servers or placed at the truck window. Grumpy orders are paid directly to Grumpy's while G&G orders are payed for at the counter. Tuesday's are Open Mic Night from 5:30pm-8:30pm. During this visit, my girlfriend and I shared a bottle of Guardian Chalk line to sip on while visiting and enjoying open mic. We shared a Caprese Salad for $15. We shared the Cali Veg Sandwich for $15. I ordered a to-go Carnita's Plate for $14 from Grumpy's to take home to my wife. Seats are limited and on our visit (Tuesday) several people were unable to find a seat. It was loud during our visit so it was hard to hear one another during our visit. There was a little quinoa and kale on top of a large amount of romaine. Not what I expected. It was also served stuffed into a small, tall sided bowl with the dressing on the side. How exactly are you supposed to dress it and eat it? My friend had the burger and fries. The burger was half the size of the bun. She literally removed 50% of the bun. It was also extremely well done. The fries were cold. They don't have decaf coffee, but I was able to order mint tea. It was brought in a cup that smelled like old coffee. The table had been cleared and I had no napkin and he didn't bring one with the tea. There was a slice of lemon I didn't want and I had no place to put it. There is potential here, I hope they pay more attention to providing a quality experience and food.

The crowd isn't trying to match the period clothing or anything, it's just a bunch of fun younger Snohomies hanging out and drinking cocktails. The bartender hands you a menu of a dozen and a half cocktails, mostly vintage, vintage-sounding, or using vintage ingredients or techniques (e.g., 3 different offerings with egg whites). Prices are fair enough, and they bring out your drink when it's ready. Vintage-looking glassware--cool! There's another big room past the bar, lots of Edison bulbs here and there, but not so many as to create even a hint of glare anywhere. There's a washroom in the far corner, definitely big enough to be accessible. Now I can't remember whether there were grab bars. The ceilings in here are all different heights, most covered with pressed tin. Nice effect. There's one window that hasn't been covered, so a little natural light gets in.
