Went there today for the first time.I get it that it would be muddy because of the recent weather. The absolute worst part was the amount of dog poop that was everywhere!! The lack of respect by other dog owners here is clearly lacking at this park. We ended up leaving early because of all the dog feces. I only would like to come back and try the adjacent trails when it is nicer weather. read more

I've been branching out and exploring some new dog parks with my 7-Month GSD pup lately, as we've gotten bored by the ones close to us. So I decided to give this one a chance as it had fairly all raving reviews. From a first glance, when we first arrived, parking was very minimal and I'm not sure how well that would work if it were to be a busier day and time. The beginning area for dogs to play around was quite small comparatively to some other parks I've went to but I found that the focus is primarily on the trails. The trail itself was nice, pretty well-maintained however some of the fences are all bent and seem like a hazard if your dog was to be sprinting or kids were running and bumped into it. Though my shepherd is fabulous with recall, the area is not completely fenced off so there is a chance your pooch could find their way to a school or parking lot towards the top. We walked for about 40 minutes and everything was seemingly going quite well and we were enjoying ourselves. Until, we came back to the gate to leave. As I was approaching, I noticed two dog owners and their dogs chatting. As I was getting closer, my shepherd went ahead in front of me and out of nowhere, the lady's dog full force rushes my dog and bites her in the leg. As I'm rushing to go to my dog and make sure everything is alright, the lady just says "Oh we've just been here too long". Excuse me? Off-Leash places should have mannered dogs that don't just randomly attack other dogs. My dog was literally just strolling along and got trampled and bit until she squealed. To top it off, the other dog owner came over trying to comfort my dog by hugging her and holding her and I told him she's probably even more scared because you're a stranger to her and she's not getting any comfort from you, he completely ignored me. After this my dog was off all day, she was erratic and on guard when I went to my training class with the other dogs. So much so, that I had to take her outside for a break to calm down. People need to have well-mannered dogs and be able to control their dogs. My pup keeps to herself and doesn't provoke other dogs or cause problems. This should be every dog that comes to an off leash dog area, otherwise don't bring your dog or go get some training done. read more

We are new to the dog world. This park seems to be the most fun for our little guy. The park itself is well maintained and cleaned. I feel like each time we have gone the dogs and owners have been friendly. Only down side is doesn't get much sun during the colder months and spring so the entrance is quite muddy. Nothing really wrong with that except, not all of us have cars that are muddy dog friendly. The trails are fun and my pup enjoys exploring those. read more

We are new to the Everett area from Seattle where we lived by Discovery Park and I've been looking for some trails to take my dogs on feeling sad about leaving Discovery behind. As other reviewers have mentioned there wasn't a lot of parking, but that said we didn't have trouble finding a spot. The main entrance has an open area where dogs can play. The entrance is double-gated for safety. The park is pretty clean, lots of trees provide shade and we were enjoying ourselves enough. My dogs had enough room to run on this area, but it wasn't as big as other parks. After about an hour another patron told us about the trails. The trails...my dogs had so much fun exploring all of the different paths and ran and ran. We didn't go all the way to the other end, but I didn't see any fence breeches. I would suggest though if your dog isn't great at recall being cautious in this area. We didn't have any issues but a couple of times I lost visual of my dogs. Fortunately, they have great recall and came back quickly. The other patrons in the park were all very friendly and responsible, picked up after their dogs and seemed to supervise their dogs well. After visiting this park I was super excited about my move to Everett. I'm less than a mile away and can see us coming to this park several times a week! read more

I decided to try out this park because we're bored of the ones closer to our house and it had great reviews. The park could be nice, I like that it has benches for people and a water fountain for the dogs, but the people who use could learn a thing or two about cleaning up after their dogs. This is our favorite of all the dog parks nearby-Howarth, Edmonds, and Mukilteo. This one is great because it has a ton of trails that are also off leash, not just a play area. The owners we have met here are all responsible. It is a dusty park, so I am sure in the fall and winter it will be muddy. One note of warning: this park is open until 9pm April - Sept 30th. Tonight we decided to take our 20 lbs sheltie to the park later than we ever have - we got there around 7:50 and the sun was mostly set. We were excited because there weren't really other dogs there and so we were really able to get her running on the front loop. We were doing it for about 10-15 minutes calling her back and forth between us. The last time she ran ahead of the curve ahead of me to my husband I heard him scream. I laughed, because I thought he was startled at the dog, because she ran a different way to him than he anticipated. Nope. Apparently an owl had her in his sights, and was two feet behind her talons out about to go in when my husband screamed. I will be honest, I didn't believe my spouse's story at first. I thought he was making it up to hide the real reason he screamed. But then the owl followed us up to the play area and perched in a tree. And then tried to go after my dog again when she ran ahead of us to the water bowl. Great place during the day, but if you have a 20 lbs or less dog, I would advise against going at or after dusk! read more

This park is an amazing off-leash park for your (social!) dog. We live a lot closer to the Edmonds beach park, but we take our dogs here because for many reasons. 1) There are tons of trails, so you don't always have to take the same path over and over again 2) Because of all the trails, we AND the dogs get better exercise than just standing around at the beach while the dogs kind of run around in a circle. 3) Most everyone that comes to this park is really friendly and social as are their dogs which is super important. It can get a little muddy in the winter months (and with the spring we've been having it is a little muddy) but you can see there have been steps made to prevent that, like recently laying down fresh wood chips. I recommend this place for any dog owner to bring their dog and to have a good time! read more

This is a great hidden park. It's at the end of a dead end road next to a golf course, and in the year I've been taking my dog it's never gotten very busy. The park is a series of trails with a small play area next to the parking lot. It really has an almost hiking feel to the place. My dog loves to run around on the trails and get into stuff, which takes me to some of my dislikes. This park in not well maintained at all and during the winter months it turns to a giant series of mud puddles. So, if your dog likes water make sure to bring a towel. Also, bring baggies, the person who is responsible for refilling the dispenser seems to slack on the job. read more

My dog and I met a friend here. It is a lovely park!!! She warned me that it was kinda small. Well- the open area when you enter the park is small but the best part of the park is the trails! I enjoyed the trails with my dog and taking in the scenery. My dog did not really explore off trails- she pretty much walked along with me. Some dogs may like to go off trails but they are still within eye sight of their owners. I don't think the park is fully fenced. If your dog doesn't come back when you call her/him on the trails- I would keep your dog on a leash until they are trained. Parking is by the entrance of the park. There are also garbage cans and doggie bags by the entrance. read more

Best dog park ever. There's a fenced area at the beginning of the park for those who just want to play, then about a mile or so of inter-connecting trails to walk. There's also a separate fenced area for shy or not-so-social dogs. You can park either off of 18th, or at Kasch Park. There's a dual drinking fountain for people and dogs, and bags for waste. It does get muddy on the trails, and there's a ton of small ponds that get super muddy and eventually dry up in the summer. This is the best park we've found so far. No restroom, but there's some in Kasch Park, it's just a ways off and you'll want to leash your dog to get to them. We've been going for over a year, every week, at different times and days, and have only ever encountered very nice dogs and people. read more

Really awesome dog park. We've lived in the apartment complex down the street for over a year and only found out about it a few months ago, but now we try to go as much as we can. We've only encountered very nice dogs with very nice owners. Today we arrived after 7:00PM on a weekday and we had the entire park to ourselves. We let the dogs roam and did a nice trek through the trails. We ended up next to a school, and then by a pond. There are a bunch of different routes you can take, and the trails look to be well maintained, as they are clear of any obstruction. We went in the past after it had rained, and definitely either stay in the main park area, or wear boots because it can get very muddy on the trails. read more

I've lived here, near Mukilteo, for three years now and I just NOW discovered THIS little gem and it's less than five minutes away from my house! Oddly enough, it doesn't pop up to the top of the list when you search Yelp for "dog parks" in my zip code. The trails are pretty nicely kept - even in muddy times (which is always in the winter) and there's enough of them to keep you and the pooch entertained for a multitude of trips there. My dogs get bored with the same ol' walk - can you blame them? They're still both under two years old and I don't have total recall so they stay on the leashes for now. I'm looking forward to the day when we can explore this place leash free! Bring your boots and towel if it's wet outside. No need to bring water though. They've a lovely little dog fountain that's the nicest I've ever seen. The dogs love it. read more

What a great dog park! Lots of trails for my dog to explore, and friendly dogs for her to play with. One major plus was the lack of dog poo in the walking areas. This place is very well maintained, and even has a little basket by the entry with balls and frisbees in case you forgot to bring a toy. Doggie water fountain is also a bonus. Only downside is the abundance of mud during wet months. Be sure to bring a towel to wipe down your dog before getting back to the car. read more

We decided to take a visit today to this park. The pictures looked nice on Yelp and it was pretty close to us. I was not disappointed. Parking I think is small, unless there is an area I'm missing. You walk in and the main area is a nice start to meet other dogs, and then there are the trails. I didn't think it would be as big as it was, its no Marymoor, but definitely a nice size. It is a bit muddy, not too much though, but our dog managed to find a prehistoric tar pit as we walked and didn't hesitate to dive in before we could even call out his name, so be prepared. The thing I found amusing during our trip, was a couple who decided to run the trails(serious jogging gear on) with their dog. I can understand the freedom of not holding a leash when you run, but once their dog caught eye of mine, the wrestling match began. They didn't see too happy about that. Of course my dog decided to continue the chase, but being the awesome dog he is, came back once he hit about 50 feet and almost lost sight of us(fiance and myself). I felt a bit bad about my dog wanting to play with their dog...at a dog park...dog park...and disturbing their cardio, but than I came to my senses and realized where I was. How can you not figure something like that would happen? Any who, this had nothing to do with how I view the park, just a funny side note! Water and bags are available too. Loganberry Lane off leas dog park has lots of trails that both you and your dog can enjoy. Seemingly endless combinations can give you a 20 min walk or as long as you want. There is a year round drinking fountain which nice to have. This park is well visited by both young & old, small & large breads. Everett park system does supply doggy poop bags but on one or more occasions bags were out. Best to bring along some bags just in case. Ground is compacted dirt with mulch. On dry days it offers good footing. If it was rained recently you can expect to have a muddy pup after play time. The park is not fully secured by fences. It runs along side of a public golf course but the rear of the park boarders houses and there is no fence line. Just keep an eye out for when reaching the far corner and keep your dog close and head west for more trails and fun. April through September 7am-9pm October through march 7am-6pm read more

This is really odd dog park, it's not completely fenced off. I have a small 15 lb terrier and on multiple occasions she's been almost attacked. Last time I was there a pitbull was being very aggressive towards a golden retriever when there's a sign that clearly states "no pitbulls are allowed off leash". The trails are narrow and small. I recommend the dog park in Mukilteo, it's completely fenced, have a separate areas for smaller/ shyer dogs and the beautiful gulch if you want to go on a walk. read more

Caveat: for dog parks, the 5 star rating I've reserved for Magnuson / Sand Point and for Marymoor in Redmond Plus: the woods Minus: the partial fence Wish: it would be nice if it had a little bit bigger playfield so bigger dogs could get a better run. We've been pretty happy with Lingonberry. I expect to add some notes once the summer comes around. So far, we've been visiting about once a week since November - May. I'd bring the dogs more often, but the car goes off to work 5 days a week. It's been muddy muddy muddy - wear your mud shoes in the rainy season. The little area at the front can be a good play time, it totally depends on the mix of dogs that day. We had just the perfect group energy on this week's visit. Since it is a small park, there might not be the right play buddy that day, but everybody we've meet has been pretty cool. One guy was very serious about making sure that everyone picks up their poo. Noting that there is a problem along the fence to the golf course. I just pick up the closest two poops rather than tread the mine field. The trails, we love the trails through the woods. We never brought any balls with us, and the trails keep our ball obsessed lab busy and happy. There are water features in the fall and winter, and they are drying up into something mucky. Our lab is cooperative and has obeyed our instructions not to jump in, but the corgi mixed with opinion is more willful. I recommend plenty of towels and to be prepare for a swampy smelling car. The fences. So before we went, I had read all the reviews that talked about the fence to the golf course that ends, and how people's exuberant dogs would end up on the golf course. (I have not yet seen this) I missed any reviews talking about how the fence is also not secure on the sports field side. We followed the trail up to the sports field and discovered A) the gate was open and luckily there was no sporting event, and B) the trail along the sports field goes right to the children's playground (no gate), a set up that could easily go bad with the wrong mix of scared child and mouthy dog. Also, I wouldn't go on one of our strong wind days - a fair number of windfalls in the trail area. Questions? Pictures? I promise some soon! read more

Very nice off-leash dog park. It is plenty big for your dogs to run around. Beware though, the trail isn't completely fenced off. My dogs and I came across an open portion that leads to a residential area. I would recommend if your dogs are obedient and won't run off on their own. We recently got a rescue dog and she's a little pit bull mix (make 45 lbs soaking wet) who is a little on the rambuctious side - not sure if it's age, breed, personality or a mix of all three, but this one NEEDS the park. Since I'm relatively new to the area, and definitely new to the dog parks in the area, I figured we'd try this one out since it's close and not too terribly busy (from the reviews). I took Lily walking on the trails (on her leash) first, because I wasn't sure if she'd listen when I called her, and she had a grand time checking out the trails and sniffing leisurely around. When we looped back around, I let her off the leash and she took off playing with a couple of the dogs that were there. The open area is relatively small, but more than enough room for my dog and the handful of other dogs, but if there are more than 5 or 6 dogs in that open area, things get a little cramped. The park was fully stocked and I like that they had a dog bowl right under the water spicket. That was cool. I wouldn't claim this as a destination park like I would Marymoor, but for a neighborhood dog park, this one is pretty darn good. I know Lily loved it, and it seems like the dogs and their owners that frequent this park are both super friendly and responsible (i.e., they actually pick up their dogs' poop, unlike some owners I have run across). AND it's not as muddy as some of the other parks in the area. read more

I do enjoy going to this dog park with my dog, it's actually a very lovely park with trails to walk down with your pup and everything is gated for the most part. There is a slighty smaller area with benches, and most of the dogs gather in this area to play and run. There are some areas when you walk along the trail that have the private property sign on them, and are more open and not gated but they are off the trail but within view. If your pup likes to venture on their own they may find this area, but if your dog is good at responding to voice commands it shouldn't be a problem. My dog is very much a water dog, and she enjoys swimming and jumping into lakes, rivers, mud puddles, streams, and ponds. That being said, this place does have some ponds along the trail. If you have a water loving dog like mine who can scout out water faster than breathing in air, then you may get a muddy pup. Just bring a towel just in case. :). Overall, a very nice dog park that is close by. I will continue to go here with my dog. read more

I'm normally a little too lazy to write reviews, but I had to let dog owners in the Everett area know that this place is absolutely wonderful! Just when I though Everett was the pitts, I decided to try out this dog park, just around the corner, and I must say it is awesome!! Most dog parks in this area are just a small open space that are no better than for socializing your dog or playing fetch/swimming if your dogs are into that. My puppies don't mind socializing, but they loooovvvvee exploring trails and running on them and there is plenty of that to go around here! It's actually quite large too, we didn't even go through the whole place but we spent a good hour going up and down trails, taking twists and turns and my dogs got to run ahead and get lost and found over and over again! I've never seen them so happy! We usually have to drive all the way out to Seattle to get this kind of atmosphere, but Loganberry Lane Park delivered for sure! I'm so glad to finally know there is a place where my dogs (and myself) can get a decent workout and the fact that it's not very crowded, unlike the Seattle parks, is just great because it means we can go explore with less run ins with other dogs (and their poos that some owners don't pick up, gr). I guess there are two areas, I have yet to explore the otherside so looks like the doggies and I have plans for the weekend! ;D Anyway.. if you are in the Everett area and frustrated with the lack of good trails for you and your mutts to walk off-leash, this is definately one worth checking out! It is a little muddy, especially after rain, but just make sure you wear shoes you don't care for an a towel for you 4 legged friend and you'll be good to go! I took my dog here on one of the sunniest days of the year and only saw one other walker. This park seemed big we didn't get to see all of it cause we were in a bit of a hurry. My dog pretty much stayed in the trails the whole time he is a bit of a wuss. The only bad thing that happened was we were almost struck with a golf ball from the nearby golf course. I've played the course multiple time and can't see this as the norm. He must of really put a bad swing on the ball. So no worries there. We will start to frequent this park more often I just wish we would of found it sooner now that summer is coming to an end. read more

We bought a house less than a mile away from the park. When we got our dog we looked into nearby parks. This park is so great for dogs! There is a nice water bowl at the enterance and plenty of parking. There is also a side gated area good for older or timid dogs. We have been going here for abour 6 months now and they have only ran out of doggy bags once. Frequent dog park-ers brought plenty of grocery bads and stuffed them in the slot. I love walking the trails and getting a bit of exercise myslef, and days when I feel a little more lazy I am fine just standing and talking with the other dog owners. There is a picinic bench for you to sit on too. A few weks ago there was a man that was fixing a trail. It's all volunteer based. There is a wheelbarrow that people can use and I think once a year in the begining of spring there is a big volunteer thing so people can help get the park in shape. It's a great park! Pretty good park. My husband and I haven't tried any other ones in the area yet though. This one is nice, limited parking, and can get muddy at times. It says off leash, but there are trails you can lose your dog in if they are runners or not trained yet. Also there is a fence along the golf course side, but there are sections that are damaged from trees and your little furry friend can get through. read more

We've been to three different dog parks, two of which are well designed and thought out. This one is not. While it has all the makings of a great dog park, trails, drinking fountain for rover and an open area for dogs to rough house. It has some MAJOR shortcomings that need to be addressed and fixed. They are in no particular order: 1. No double gate entrance. We were somewhat mobbed at the gate by two other dogs and had to slowly work our way in to avoid letting a dog escape. 2. They were out of poo bags. I had brought one but needed a second. Had to get one from another patron. 3. There were sofa cushions abandoned inside by someone. Made it look like a dump. 4. It is not fully fenced and there are several large gaps that aren't initially apparent. I was out walking the vast trails with my energetic dog and met another guy and his dogs. We started walking together as our dogs were having fun playing with each other. At one point his large dog found a squirrel and caught it. While we rescued the squealing squirrel, my dog ran off and disappeared from site. He is young (about 2 years), high energy and very fast. We started looking for him and went in different directions to cover more ground. While searching I found two big open gaps, about 2'-3' wide in the fence that led to apartment complexes and another narrow gate that was open to a big adjacent sports park ( the gate has no latching mechanism). Fortunately some nice young ladies found my dog there, got him and called me from the number on his collar tag so that we could be reunited. We are not from Everett and if he had not been so quickly returned he could have been struck by a car or any number of things. 5. There are areas that are boggy and I'm sure considered wetlands. If your dog is faster than you and likes to explore, be warned, and prepared, pooch could get pretty muddy. Signage at the front gate regarding this issue could help. 6. Parking is minimal. There was room for about 8 to 10 cars at the "designated" entrance. If the above shortcomings were correctly addressed, this place would rate 4 to 5 stars. Hopefully some concerned citizens will bring these things to the attention of the people who can fix at least 1 through 4 above to make this a safe place for your dog to be off leash. I will likely never return to this park with my dog as i was left with a bad experience that could have cost me my dog. Off leash should come with certain guarantees. read more

I come here quit often it has nice trail the only bad thing I have to say about this park is you get a lot of dumb dog owners that come here with there dogs and toys/ balls and get upset when other dogs try to play with there dogs stuff it's so annoying when all the dogs are having fun and you get those ppl that like to come & through balls right by the other dogs and get mad when other dogs get the balls and there so many trails for them to go else were, but for some reason they like doing it right in the middle of all the other dogs. Alot of younger dogs are still learning how to drop it or think that getting the ball will end in a fun chase off there's a couple that goes there @ 4:30 every day w/ a lab and some other mixed dog they love to through the ball right in the middle of the other dogs playing ( that were there first ) and then yells at the other owners to get there balls from the dogs hello ppl go down the trail and through it if you don't want to share, the place is huge so walk your lazy a**s away from were ppl were before you ugh some ppl have NO common courtesy and have the nerve to get an attitude. So if you are one of those ppl with a ball /toy that don't want to share or ur dog becomes aggressive of there toys walk down the trail and through it there so many places were no ones at or just DONT bring the toys don't be the talk of the park about how rude you are it's a community place don't make it un fun for every one else. My dogs not aggressive towards toys but I don't bring his stuff because so many have been ruined there I'm not gonna yell at other owners for there dogs trying to play hello have some sense it's your fault !! read more
