Have been to Craig's place many times and I always leave with the same feeling; "We're fortunate to have such a great bike-shop nearby!"... I brought my Daughter's "built" bike in for some final adjustments and they had great recommendations on some xcountry tires. The store is clean, prices are very fair and work quality is top notch. The staff are always friendly, courteous, and happy to help. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a REAL bike shop!! Thanks for all you do.

After with new tires and cleaned up!

I have only gone bike riding once in 20 years but when a friend gifted me a vintage bike during the pandemic, I gladly accepted! Unfortunately, it needed work starting at the very least with new tires as the old ones were completely shot. I took the bike to Spokes, not only the closest bike shop to my home but also recommended by some friends who mountain bike. Dan was awesome! Took my bike in and looked far & wide for tires that fit this vintage bike that's probably older than me. Took a couple months but he found really cool white walled tires and then to my surprise, cleaned up the bike before I picked it up so it really shined!! Also, he helped me pick out a helmet so I can be safe on my new to me bike. Appreciate their customer service and support! Will go back and recommend them as well to others. The location is great, close to Phx and Tempe, and ideal for mountain bikers who explore nearby south Mountain!

Trek 4300 after a nice ride. Thanks to Craig and his crew.

This place is amazing. My bike got shipped from back home so it definitely needed a tune up and some TLC. Craig and his team were able to get me up and pedaling in no time at all. They were professional and friendly. I would highly recommend this shop if you need a tune up or are looking for your next bicycle.

Bought a marlin 6 a couple weeks ago. Bikes are in pretty high demand and when I called they picked up right away and let me know they had one in stock. It wasn't built yet since it had just arrived and they stopped what they were doing so that they could get it ready for me to purchase within the hour. Great service and I really like my bike!

Not being a bike person at all the owner here made me feel very welcome. He helped me pick a bike that was too much for me but was exactly what i was looking for. I was confused on what to get and when I mean confused I'm not talking about the bike specs (he handled that part), I was strictly having trouble with the color choice. He not once got frustrated with me and was constantly pulling out bikes from boxes so I could have a better idea. After many visits to the shop I found my new baby. I'm currently waiting for some fenders and rack (my fault, I can't get the bike back to the shop to have them I stalled) that are going to make my bike that much better! Thank you for everything and I will see you soon!

The idiots had the bike for 5 days and they can't fix it they left dirty greasy fingerprints all over the white wall tires and grease on the whole bike from their greasy fingerprints, I had to come home and clean the greasy fingerprints off my white sidewalls And wipe the whole entire bike down with greasy prints on the whole frame then they scratch the bike up with their bike holder that locks on to the bike....if Beavis and Butthead mechanics work for me they would be packing their bags. Owner is very sarcastic and rude and unprofessional he likes to interrupt you when you try to talk to him on the phone, matter of fact he text me at first and said we have to contact the manufacturer about your rear Axle. I never got a call for an estimate also they just started to fix the bike and said the rear axle had internal problems in the three-speed gearing. Nothing but complaints on Yelp over this shit hole bike shop. Never had a owner send me a text he should be calling customers on the phone so finally I called back and talked to him that's when he started interrupting me when I was trying to talk very belligerent and very rude. I would not recommend this shit hole bike shop to anyone nothing but complaints about this place. Then I'm checking the bike out and looking at the rear tire and it's not even straight my God Beavis and Butthead here can't even put a rear tire straight it's on an angle so now I have to recheck everything and fix it myself. If the company is called Exhale.... they might want to probably inhale more crack..lol

Rogue sells you a high-priced bike, pockets your money, and takes no responsibility when things go bad. I paid $1,500 for a new Velotric Fold1 in late 2025. By Spring 2026, the battery (with a full charge) would go only 2 to 3 miles, then completely die. After cooperating with Velotric's warranty department to troubleshoot, they concluded what was obvious: it needs a new battery. Only after several weeks of back and forth troubleshooting did they inform me they have no batteries in stock and it would be another 2 months until they had any. They provided no compensation of any kind for the major disruption, nor did Rogue Electric Cyclery. Both Velotric and Rogue Electric Cyclery continue to sell new very expensive Fold 1 bikes that come with new batteries. However, neither Velotric nor Rogue is willing to provide one of those batteries to cover a customer's legitimate warranty issue. I am still waiting for a new battery covered under warranty.

What started out as a Google search to rent a quality and fun mountain bike, at an affordable /fair price, lead us to Scottsdale Bike Company. Quick call on the drive from California confirmed they had what we needed. Upon arrival they noted we were stacking the bikes in the back of our suv, and one of the guys offered his personal hitch rack to ease our load and set it up for us. After a fun hour at the Mesa bike park, we had my gfs son's personal bike break. After fiddling and realizing the severity we quickly ran back to SBC just before closing. The guys got right to work without much more than a question to see if they could get us back on the road before we left the shop. I rented a Large MTB and they offered to swap us out for a bike more fitting for the 12 year old. I said thanks, we'll take it. They then insisted I didn't miss out and sent us on our way with another bike rental. A beautiful amazing and quality full suspension MTB. They inspected each unit thoroughly. Noting one had some damage, and despite them being able to send us with it, they did not. They ensured they sent us on the trails with a solid well looked after unit. As we came back to return the next day, and pick up the bike. They did everything they could to get us running, but it being a 10 year old model (They didn't have parts on hand) they offered to help but would take time to get parts, we're just in town for a short while. When I asked what we owed them for inspecting and trying to fix it, they declined our payment outside of the rentals. True gentleman, incredibly kind, generous with their time and resources. I'd pay every penny to them for parts, service, even a purchase. Whether visiting, or a local, take a minute to give them a chance to have your business! You won't regret it. As honest as they come.

Unfortunately, this business does not understand the legal implications of accepting a service…read morerequest from someone with younger onset Alzheimer's, without contacting POAs (powers of attorney). And yes, the shop owner was aware of my husband's Alz diagnosis prior to accepting the service request. My neighbor Greg, who I asked to leave our family alone in February 2025, took my ill husband with younger Alz and his bike in to this shop in July 2025. The neighbor struck a deal with my husband's mother to pay for the service. As my husband's medical power of attorney (btw he has a court appointed conservator for financials), I was never informed. When my 5yo daughter and I got home, my husband had no idea where his bike, his backpack, or his cell phone were. All was lost in the time that I went to have lunch and pick up my daughter from kindergarten. On our wild goose chase that evening when I should've been helping my daughter with homework, brushing teeth, and evening routine, we found his bike at this bike shop, and then my husband vaguely recalled some intervention by our dirty gossip-Gabby, Nosey Nancy neighbor Greg who refuses to leave our family alone. Little did the shop owner realize that our family had been in legal battles with my husband's aggressive horrible mother for 3 years. She has lost every futile battle, yet she keeps trying. Her latest failed attempt involves threats of legal action regarding my daughter. So the neighbor Greg striking a deal for my husband's mother to pay for his bike? No. Not allowed. My husband's conservator even refuses to answer his mother's calls due to her belligerence. So unfortunately, this shop should educate themselves on accepting service requests from persons with Alzheimer's, and understanding that you need to communicate with the POA prior to service acceptance. The outcome: I accepted the invoice and paid from our marital account, even though I never (nor did the conservator) requested or agreed to this service. EDITED TO ADD: When we all came in for me to pay and pick up his bike, I asked the shop owner "do you know he has Alzheimer's?" he said YES. So please, if you are a business owner and you knowingly accept a service request from someone with a severe cognitive impairment, you MUST ask for POAs to ensure this is the right decision for that person. Someone told me "what are you supposed to do when someone with Alzheimer's has a broken bike?" You find the Medical and/or Financial POA for that person and work as a TEAM. You don't take matters into your own hands - this is literal exploitation of a vulnerable adult. Fortunately for us, my husband is now placed in memory care so he cannot be exploited, and so we don't end up with wild goose chases around town when I need to be working and raising my daughter on my own. Shame on everyone involved who caused confusion in my husband and harm to our family.
