Not sure what is up with the place or whatever but my dog was not having it. My man had brought our dog here once before so I assumed my dog would be familiar with it and be Ok! Well that wasn't the case, my dog was trying to leave the we came. I was pretty unhappy with the owner and how sarcastic and "know it all" attitude she had. Worst thing of all is that they are WAY OVERPRICED and for what? For my dog to want to leave. I mean, When it comes to these dog grooming places, I think the most important thing is for our animals to feel at home and feel safe. That wasn't the case here, even though the owner did say- " you can come here, and check our cameras, all we do here is grooming" I still didn't think that was enough for me to feel comfortable bringing my dog back to this place. By far, the most shocking grooming experience I've ever witnessed. I went in for a simple nail trim for both of my dogs. A terrier mix, Primo, and a chihuahua terrier mix, Chilli. The first bad feeling I got was that they were yanked by their necks into the grooming room by a groomer who looked hung over and didn't want to be bothered but I understand I can have a light hand so decided not to say anything. Chilli was being overly dramatic as usual so I didn't think anything out of the ordinary was going on. After the nail trim I took them home and realized...Primo's nails were completely untouched. I called and the owner was very sweet and said "oh I'm sorry please bring them back and we will finish your other dog." Boy am I glad I went back!!! I walked in and the owner said "the groomer said she buffed his nails" and I told the owner she was lying (and besides, I didn't pay for a buff, I paid for a trim) and I went to look and how long and sharp Primo's nails were, it was more than clear she just forgot. As I was watching right outside the window, the groomer went to take the dog she currently had on the table and pulled him over her shoulder, turned around and started walking towards the kennel...WITHOUT DETACHING THE DOGS NECK FROM THE GROOMING TABLE!!!! Apparently she just assumed the dogs head was small enough to slip through but it didn't and the dog flipped over and luckily she caught the dog from being strangled. But what I found most crazy is that she didn't even care that she was treating the dogs like this as the owners were standing 3 feet away from the glass watching their dog being mistreated. I open the door to the grooming room and said "you cannot treat dogs like this, why would you pull a dog off a table when it's neck is still attached" she replied "I'm a nurse, not a groomer, I work for VCA and do anesthesia on dogs so f$!k you" and slammed the door in my face. Needless to say I did not take this well, I pushed the door back open as hard and I could, accused her of still being drunk considering she could barely open her eyes and took Primo back. It doesn't stop there... That's when I realized Chilli was bleeding everywhere and that's why he was crying when he was with her. There was blood all over my seat because she had CUT OFF HALF OF HIS QUICK OFF (I have uploaded the pictures so your dog doesn't get hurt too). I stormed back in with many unkind and slightly trashy words, to say the least. Not to mention she had missed 3 of Chilli's nails but at this point I was sure glad she didn't harm him any more than she already did. She was fired on the spot and the owner and other groomer were sweet but I won't be returning to a place that hires/works with ignorant animal handlers. People have their own right to dislike animals but if that's the case then don't work with them. Moral of the story is, I hope I was able to help other dogs from being hurt and mistreated. They aren't afraid to treat dogs so poorly in front of their families, imagine how they treat your dog behind closed doors. read more

I took my puppy in for a haircut and he came back traumatized. I'm not sure what they do with the dogs but whatever it is isn't okay. He was so scared of the lady that gave him the haircut he wouldn't allow her to touch him. They also cut his hair terribly and so uneven. read more

Took my golden doodle there to get a quick wash and brush out today! Picked my baby doggie up a couple hours later and he was such a happy boy. The staff there really seem to be good with all the dogs. I was watching them take care of the other smaller dogs and the girl that was grooming the dogs was doing such a nice job. At first I was contemplating paying 50 dollars for a wash and brush out but after I picked my dog up I was so happy with the service and I will be going back for other services. They have good customer service. It's a clean place and I trust to bring my puppy there in the future for his first haircut. read more

My dog and I love this place!! 1. The business owner is friendly and professional. 2. My dog is an extremely anxious dog and he loves this place. I can tell because my dog does not appear to be under any distress when I pick him up and I think it's mainly because they don't lock up the dogs in cages in the back. 3. The owner is never nice, just make sure that when you take your dog, you know who your groomer is. This lady I believe her name was Kacey or Kaley, she's a blonde woman who is so unprofessional and I specifically do not ask for her when I go there because she had messed up my dogs hair cut so many times. The last time I stepped foot into this place was the most horrific for me. I knew who was going to be grooming my dog that day, and I was happy with her. I go to work confident and they called to let me know my baby was ready. I get there and that Kacey/Kaley girl comes to me and says "before I bring out your dog I do want to let you know I did nick her a bit but she didn't bleed. Then she brings out my dog from the grooming room and I see this huge hole in her body! The owner is very nice and I respect her but this was to much! And I left and wrote a complaint letter. My dog could have gotten an infection! I want that woman fired! This place is good, but make sure you know who's grooming your dog(s)! read more

This review is long overdue. I have taken my 3 year old dog to get groomed here a total of three times. I was very pleased with the first two visits except for the very last one. The receptionist, I think she's the owner, was trying to charge me the medium size dog package. This was very unexpected because they've always charged me the small dog package. I explained this to her and she even pulled out her records which show my last two visits were the small dog package. She came up with an excuse saying the last two times were a mistake and going forward she has to charge me the medium size dog package. This is is extremely unprofessional. I don't mind paying more money if prices go up but to suddenly switch what size they think the dog is when there are records showing they've considered him to be small is ridiculous. I didn't catch any names of the groomers the times I've been here. There's a blonde one that's really sweet and will never nick your dog. This time around my dog had a new groomer, a brunette. She nicked him really bad on his genital area! He had to wear a cone and take meds for a week to stop him from licking and irritating his skin. He's neutered but let's just say it looked like he grew a new set of testicles because of how irritated the skin was from the cuts. Sigh......I'm pro supporting small businesses and mom and pop shops but what a disappointment this last time around. read more

Ask for Cathy! Our little one got fleas after a couple nights at an airbnb where other animals were living. Once I noticed I called the closest place with decent reviews and splash doggie got me in with Cathy in a half hour. She's been our go to girl since. She comes out and greets my pup and me and clarifies what I would like done. My little girl looks adorable after and is always relaxed and resting in a nice sized fenced off area of her own. Which is perfect for her because she does not relax with other dogs around. Oh and she hasn't had a flea since! Prices are really competitive and leaves me room to drop Cathy a nice tip for taking care of my little girl so well. First trip to this facility. I took my two small dogs. One for a bath (chihuahua) the other for grooming (Yorkie) The prices were very reasonable $30 for a bath and $40 grooming. My Yorkies hair cut was just what I asked for. I like that you can watch how your fur babies are handled via the large glass windows. The facility is clean, the people are nice, rates are reasonable. There are tables and chairs for waiting. They also offer a DIY supplying the equipment, shampoo, dryer. Nice option. I recently got a Shih Tzu from the Burbank Animal Shelter and he was in desperate need of a haircut. He had matts everywhere and needed his face trimmed. I looked up different places on yelp and read the Splash Doggie had great reviews, so I decided to take a chance and take him there. From the moment I walked in, the friendly staff at Splash Doggie made my dog feel extremely welcomed. I asked them to shave him completely, trim up his face and to keep his tail long. They listened to all of my request and told me to come back in a few hours. When I came back to pick him up, I had to help my dog get his face trimmed because he was not used to someone touching his face. The lady that groomed my dog was great with him! I made an account just to share that I absolutely love this store. We brought our dog after she made a mess of herself in the backyard. She looks absolutely adorable. I've added a picture of her, her name is Princess. I was greeted nicely by the staff and was welcomed to stay and watch my dog get groomed. This was different from my other experiences, normally I have no idea what's going on behind closed doors. The owner talked to me and mentioned that it was great for her to make sure she knows what's happening with the dogs. I found it was great to see and also reassure Princess that I was there and wasn't going to just leave her. She gets anxious easily, especially in new situations. They gave my dog to someone else. I have been taking my dog here for just over a year now. Today when they called to inform me that she was ready to be picked up I went in and looked around. When I walked in the man at the front asked me if this was my dog (another Maltese/Poodle that was in one of their kennels), it was not. The man then informed me that they received a call from the other guy that took her and he said that he is bringing her back. When I asked how the man walked off with the wrong dog to in the first place, the worker stated that he was really busy and just told the man to get his dog from one of the kennels. He didn't check to see what dog he was grabbing nor did he seem to care. Eventually, the man came back with my dog and took his own. Once my dog was back with me the first thing that I was told from the worker was not any form of apology, it was simply, "That will be $40". No, 'I'm so sorry that this happened' or 'please don't worry about it, this one is on us'. The worker didn't seem to care that my dog was given to someone else and seemed to be more annoyed with the situation then worried. read more

Very great grooming service, my dog always comes back looking clean and refreshed. It usually takes about 2 hours for the service to finish, which isn't too bad. They call when your dog is finished and put them in a nice bandana, all ready to go. We have a 14 year old maltipoo who is very anxious when it comes to grooming and splash doggie has done an amazing job by always taking her in and making sure she doesn't stay there longer than necessary. Our Dog also has a lot of benign growths on her due to her age and every other grooming place would make her bleed all over, but we've never had that problem with splash doggie.
