Lots of seating inside and out, great music playing. Lots of board games which is concerning knowing the bathrooms were out of order. I'm not sure how anyone was washing their hands around there which was brought to my attention after we already stared eating our food. For a wrap, fries, and drink it's about $20 per person. The food looked delicious and tasted good at first bite (the meat was a little dry), however for some reason my wrap had a strange chemical smell to it as I ate it. I stopped eating it because it made me nauseous, however we were sitting outside and the open dumpsters that sit in front of the restaurant didn't help much either. The staff was very nice but my experience resulted in food poisoning last night!! I really wanted to love this place too. Mediterranean food is one of my favs, however I will not be back. read more

Just tried Spitz with my parents and will definitely be coming back . I love the ambiance and vibe of the place. The person that took our order, CJ, was amazing. He was genuine and seemed very happy to give recommendations. My food was very hearty and my stomach felt full and good after eating. We got the Street Cart fries after CJs recommendation and will definitely be ordering next time. The wings my parents ate were crispy and filling. They also have a good music playlist! read more

I love this place! Family run, excellent service. I get greeted upon entry, more times than most Jaskarn (the owner) is behind the bar and greets us with a smile and small conversation. The food is excellent, along with presentation. They have a nice selection of beer that rotates often, keeping me coming back for more. The atmosphere is calm, great place for conversation and drinks with friends. The music is never too loud and the staff interacts with customers. Oh wow this was the best gyro I have ever had. I ordered the original gyro with double meat & extra tziziki sauce on side and a kids order of the lamb quesadilla with the crispy pita with hummus. First time ordering delivery or at all from this place and the last. I ordered dinnor for two since we are both sick with flu and..... Very disappointed with the mixed protein bowls. Not Worth paying for the Double meat as the Lamb and beef were chopped into tiny pieces. I cannot possibly imagine how little meat we would have gotten Had I not paid for double meat. We still had to search for it in the bowl mixed with veggies. I also ordered a large side of hummus with pita bread And all I got was a tiny 2oz plastic salsa-like container of hummus. Definitely not worth $7.50. Between the Two bowls of lamb and beef, Double meat, Two Extra small Tzatziki sauces and hummus with pita bread NOT worth $60. I probably would have been better of Buying the gyro meat at Costco and making my own dang Gyro bowls at home under $25. Live and Learn and don't repeat!!! Food: 2/5 read more

Six of us stopped in for a quick meal on a busy night near Christmas. This is THE best Mediterranean restaurant in the area, hands-down. The textures, flavors, and sauces were all excellent and melded beautifully with each other. Each of us had something different, and we were all wowed. My family loves everything about Spitz! I have been 5 or 6 times since they opened and it's become my new favorite west valley fast casual restaurant. Their gyros and wraps are great but what I really love is their doner basket with chicken that's like half a salad, half loaded fries. It's so good, everything is fresh and perfectly seasoned, and the ingredients all work together harmoniously. Their pita chips and hummus are so so tasty and if you've got room for dessert definitely get the cinnamon sugar pita chips and eat them hot and fresh - out of this world! Service is wonderful here, everybody is so kind and accommodating, and we love the board games they offer so our kids can be occupied while we have a short wait for our food. One last thing - we all love the pineapple infused water!!! What a nice touch! 10/10 - I literally can't get enough of this place. read more

Last night, we went to Spitz for the second time, and was hopeful for a beer, some food, and the nice ambiance. Instead, we got dry, flavorless food and a dining room full of disgruntled patrons because we waited an hour for food (after standing in line for 20 minutes to order). After we ordered, we soon discovered that no one in the dining room was eating. We should have left at that point, but we heard the wait was 30 min or so. We decided to stick it out because we were already seated and we played an endless game of connect 4. I now feel the games are there to keep people occupied while they take too long to serve customers. That half hour turned into over an hour. When our food was finally brought out, I fully expected at least an apology, but didn't even get a smile. There is no reason "street food" should take hours to prepare, even if short staffed. We looked around, and no real management of the staff was taking place, and they were all moving at a glacial pace like all the customers had all the time in the world. It was just a waste if time for bland food. The first time we went, the food quality was better (but looking back, still took too long).. There is clearly a management issue here, and if you decide to visit, make sure you have time to waste. It was 6pm when we arrived, and 8pm when we finally left, and all I got were some fries, dried meat, and flavlorless falafel. We will not be returning to Spitz. read more
