Stopped in while I was visiting Maricopa to get my locs re-twisted. Just needed something quick before I jumped on that 25 mile journey back to Phoenix so I decided to stop here. This is situated in a strip mall on the main drag in Maricopa right when you come into town so pretty convenient. small spot, but very clean and well lit. Customer Service was on point and I was quickly helped with my total order taking about 8 to 10 minutes to complete. I ordered the gyro and fries and was really happy with the result. A very well proportion role with plenty of fresh veggies and tzatziki sauce. Definitely looking forward to trying the spot out again the next time I'm in town.

Clearly says open, but turn me away.

If your hours are open until 9 PM, but you don't have any food anymore at 8:45 you should probably change to close at 8:30 instead. This is like the fifth time that this has happened and I know it's close to close 15 minutes but you're not closed yet so you should still have food. The doors open the sign is on, but you turned me away. I'm never coming back here again. I will drive 45 minutes to get food. And I should've known because every time I come here they're out of some thing. The family platter isn't what it's supposed to be. They don't have Frys. It's just not a good establishment in my opinion.

This food is amazing, delicious, tasty definitely better than yummy noodles! Seemed like a father and son ran restaurant which is always great to see! Service was fast and quality wasn't sacrificed. The restaurant is clean and the menu is easy to understand, the portion are huge, so thank you guys!! Definitely eat here if you have the opportunity!

This place is located on the East side of John Wayne Pkwy just North of the Fry's in the same lot. Been to a lot of Greek places in the last 2 weeks and this place is the best one. Too bad it's way out there in Maricopa but if you're there, definitely check it out. We were trying to decide where to eat and I saw someone else picture of the chicken shawarma wrap and thought "whoa" gotta check it out. If you look at my photos, the chicken shawarma and gyro are amazing size and taste great. See the cross section photo. The baba ghanoosh is great also. And cheaper than other places! A lot of food and cheap! And taste great. It does not get any better than that combination.

    Lamb shanking around! 10 stars!!!!

Great service, quick and fresh plus nice and clean. Portions are generous but the gyro with all its accotromants was lacking in flavor.

This a counter service restaurant, so once we paid we were fortunate to grab a table with only two available inside. Our food arrived about 10 minutes later. My Greek salad was fabulous, fresh tasting, crunch of the cucumbers, brine of the Kalamata olives and the Feta salty funk. The gyro portion on my salad was generous. My friend enjoyed her Kafta kabobs, flavorful and delicious. We enjoyed dining at both the Mesa and Chandler locations. Looking forward to returning. Highly recommended!

Everything looked soooo appetizing on the menu and since I was going to meal prep this week, the Al Sham Chicken Combo caught my eye. For $15, you get little cute pieces of chicken shawarma with 2 dips! I was in love with the red sauce and wish the garlic sauce was more garlic-y but it was good either way! The kofta was great as well but would definitely come back more for their shawarmas but it's definitely the best bang for your buck I also got some baba ganoush on the side to dip my fries in but unfortunately, I thought the baba ganoush was too lemony/there was too much sumac added so it wasn't as enjoyable. Most baba ganoush I've tasted in my hometown also had a smokey flavor to it from the eggplant so it really couldn't compare.

It is the ultimate quick, high-quality meal, and I love supporting local spots that consistently deliver. I almost always go for the combination plate because it gives you a great variety of food. The chicken gyro meat is incredible and perfectly seasoned. I also tried the chicken shawarma, which was a little on the dry side this time, but the flavor is still good so I definitely still eat it. For sides, I usually switch between getting the rice and salad or the rice and fries. The plate also comes with warm pita, tomatoes, and sliced onions tossed in a delicious seasoning that adds the perfect fresh, tangy crunch to the meal. I usually get my food to go. Since I have to travel all the way back to Laveen, I am always skeptical about how takeout will hold up, but the food is always still nice and warm when I get home. As long as they are open, I will keep coming back. If you are looking for a fresh, flavorful, and filling meal, this is the place to go.

I'm going to get straight to the point: This is the best Lebanese (or even Near/Middle Eastern)…read morefood I've had for probably fifteen years...and I eat this cuisine at every opportunity! Visiting, from California, some dear friends in Mesa, we ventured through the triple-digit heat for about 20 minutes to get there. Even they as locals had never heard of the place, hidden amidst miles of chain stores and strip malls. But it wasn't long before we were all singing its praises and vowing to return. Across the board, every dish was peak: ultra-creamy and subtly garlicky hummus; silken, appropriately smoky baba ghannouj; perfectly crisp, tender, not-doughy-inside falafel; and herby tabbouli, light (but not vanishingly so) on the bulgur in the Levantine style. These basics always make or break such a restaurant, and they were all outstanding. Add to this seldom-seen delights like foul medamas (fava-bean soup), four variants of ghallabah (grilled meats or seafood), chack-chouka/shakshuka (eggs poached in tomatoes and onions), and two types of pita baked on premises and served from the oven--all in generous portions and at reasonable prices--and it's worth the drive wherever you are in Phoenix and environs. I would eat here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner if I lived here. I will absolutely return on my next visit.

The waitress never gave us or offered us any refills on drinks. She was gone most of the night. There's an upcharge for fresh bread and so I said yeah, we'll do it. She said she'd bring out the pee-packaged pita bread and the fresh bread that we paid extra for. Then she never brought out the pee-packaged stuff like she said she was going to. The bread was ok, but they only gave us 3 pieces of pita bread which were about the size of a sand dollar. This was not enough bread for 2 people with 3 dips. Also, the fries were the kind of fries you get when it looks like they haven't cleaned the grease in a while. The babaganoush was really good. But everything else was pretty mediocre. I've been here 3 or 4 times and everytime I feel as though the service is bad and the food is overpriced. It's really sad, but I want to like this place, but I can't. Also, they have a rewards program but my waitress didn't try to get me to sign up. I asked when I saw it. It's a pet peeve of mine. But- I guess she doesn't really care or offer it because she probably doesn't think people will come back. My friend who joined me tonight is Muslim and she needed a place to pray, but this place didn't have one. I was surprised to learn that tonight as well. Spend your money elsewhere.

I was reminded why I don't dine here more frequently, they put the 'meh' in Mediterranean. Starting with the ambiance, this place is looking old and weathered. Their store front is not very inviting. Once inside, you navigate through their dining area to the counter to order. The counter area looks more like an advertisement for other establishments...stickers, ads, coupons, notes and all sorts of motley items. The man who I think was doing three jobs in one (host, order taker, bathroom attendant) took my order and walked away. No friendly hello or enthusiasm of any kind. Once I took my seat I watched several people use their store just for the bathroom in the back...the back where there's no door separating the dining area vs. kitchen vs. warehouse vs. bathroom. People were standing in a line to use the restroom a foot from where my food was being made. I ordered a simple gyro sandwich with rice. The sandwich was pretty straight-forward: gyro slices, onions, tomatoes and tzatziki. When it arrive, there was no sign of tomatoes or onion...just different shades of brown drowning in too much tzatziki. I eventually found several onions and one tiny tomato underneath all the meat. Underneath...what a poor presentation. The rice was okay...nothing special. There was nothing here that would draw me back.
