I tried Spitz's new cheese flatbread and I definitely wasn't disappointed!! It was delicious! It's not currently on their online menu as it must be brand new, but it's certainly worth a try! The lightly seasoned crust was just the right amount of crunchy and the hint of sun dried tomato and basil pesto they used paired amazingly with the cheese. They have a few other flatbread flavors that I'm sure would be just as delicious, if not more! The employees were all super friendly and the service was quick! I also loved the whimsical vibes of the restaurant! Lots of colors and fun decorations throughout! Definitely give this place a try if you haven't already!! read more

Different, in a good way. The chicken gyro meal is a good value and tasty! Spitz puts french fries in with the chicken. Onions and tomatoes were diced. Yeah! Different. Ask for extra sauces as the fries tend to soak it up a bit. Super flavorful! Fast, friendly service and small crowds for a late lunch. Funky warm atmosphere. Right off the freeway so it was easy and fast to get in and out. So much more food to try...you can bet I'll be back. read more

The food was really good. Everything had a lot of flavor. The ambiance was very relaxed and they were quick to prepare my order.

fresh food every single time and always great service! just moved here from Virginia and this is my new favorite spot.

Great place for Mediterranean food. This place is busy so expect to wait and come early if you want a table for a group. read more

I wasn't a fan and I've never been back but I did love the decor and the fact they had board games available to hang out with the family and play. My issue is with the extremely limited menu if you don't like things that are pickled and made with a lot of vinegar. Plus, the lack of white meat chicken. To me any place that doesn't serve white meat chicken is just being cheap. Don't try to tell me that dark meat is more flavorful. I don't care. It's cheaper and restaurants that go cheaper cut corners in other ways as well. read more

Kicking myself for not visiting this spot the last time I was in SLC! Spitz is an absolutely delicious Mediterranean fusion spot with wraps, salads, and tapas. A friend suggested we come here and recommended everything on their menu. I decided to get their Mediterranean falafel wrap to eat in and their daquitos to go. Both were just amazing! Full of flavor, delicious, and made you want to keep eating more and more. They also had two types of sauces available--a cilantro and spicy red pepper. Both went great with the wrap and the daquitos. The prices were reasonable as well with both of my dishes just totaling $15! I love that they had a good number of vegetarian and vegan options. I would definitely come back here for a quick and healthy bite! read more

Spitz- Draper - Hair - Mediterranean Near Me - Draper, Utah

used to frequent this location once a week. Owner has new manager that needs to manage. Second time I have found hair in my $15 bowl. Nasty. when I called in, the server at the register, the same one that could not figure out how to put in our number for points, said the manager would call me. waited 10 days for this person to step up. Will not go back ever. Hair nets may not be sexy but in the food industry, necessary. Maybe a call to the health department will be my next step. read more

Fun space and healthy food. Strong garlic flavors, so steer clear of any aioli if you're not a fan. Bowls are big enough for two meals or one very hungry diner. The chicken Shwarma and the fried chickpeas in my bowl were delicious. Great falafel and sweet potato fries. read more

Ugh Spitz, I love you, even if your pita appetizer things are delicious bc they're fried. Their flavor is so rich and satisfying, like squishing the marshmallowey cheeks of a happy, blubbery baby. Ahhh so bad for you but so good for the moment... sigh. Until we meet again, Spitz. read more

love the doner wrap and mix fries!!! super yummy and still healthy. friendly people and nice place to sit.

I've now tried this place three times and I think I finally have learned my lesson not to go back. First off, its expensive! I honestly don't think the value is there for the $. I love Mediterranean food! And while I appreciate that it's a different take on it I just haven't found that the chefs combos of how to put food and spice together work really well. Ive tried the wraps and bowls and they are just ok. Mediocre at best. And for $15+ for each I expect it to be exceptional. I think that might be why whenever I have gone in there was never any other person in the place. Not sure how they stay open. Either improve the flavor or lower the price. Something has to give. You will notice I rarely give one star reviews. And I've given this place several chances. read more

Te service was great! The food was great We have driven by this place several times. We decided to try it out. I had the spicy chicken flat bread and chicken wings. The spicy chicken bread was just right on the level of heat and chopped vegetables and chicken. The wings were so good I didn't use the sauce. The wings has a crunchy coating that is as unique as the restaurant. read more

Just like I've had at their downtown location. I say this because I haven't had the same quality of food at their Holladay location and I was so disappointed. They are usually always right on in quality, quantity and taste. But not all locations are created equal apparently. Draper has it down though. My street fries and doner were excellent! Full of flavor and texture as expected. Such a relief! read more

The food was amazing!! It was a nice location with plenty of seating. The service was top notch!

Ambience is unique and eclectic. The service was simple but very polite and helpful, restaurant seemed to be run by just two young people but they were very on top of things and the dining areas were clean even on a relatively busy night. Food came out super quick. I ordered the street gyro with falafel, and while I was most excited for their falafel, it was probably the least flavorful part of my meal. Everything in the gyro went very well together, however; and I loved the fries on the side too. My only real gripe was that it is pricey, for the gyro combo I ended up paying about $20 for just myself. If this meal were 8-12 bucks I could go weekly, but unfortunately $20 felt like a little much for one person. read more

I'm pretty disappointed. In mind blown. J how could i possibly spend $35 on five chicken wings and fries, two toquitos, and a too chico????????? Not only that it was cold and absolutely terrible. Pound for pound this is the most expensive restaurant I've been to. What a horrible rip off. $35 on what should have cost $10. However i wouldn't spend $5 on the quality. I would love a refund. read more

I've been wanting to try this place for a while! Came by to pick up a to go order for lunch one day. A few of us for the doquitos and some sweet potato fries. The restaurant was nice and clean, quite busy as well, but my order was ready! Seemed like they were efficient. My food was delicious, amazingly flavorful. I wasn't so sure about this type of food, but it really surprised me with it's abundance of flavors. I do wish they would've include another sauce for the second order of doquitos. I would have them again for sure. They were nice and crisp on the outside, the chicken was spiced really well and the sauce was really great for moisture. The cabbage stuff was good as well! The sweet potato fries were perfectly crispy and had a great taste to them. The perfect companion to my meal. It is a little expensive, more than the average lunch price. But on occasion it's okay to splurge a bit. read more

I love Spitz so much! I was in the area today & decided to stop in! The Mediterranean wrap is me absolute favorite!! I always get it with falafel. This is always my go to. I love the Kalamato olives they put in this. Make sure you don't eat the paper! My friend made this mistake once portion size is generous but It won't save though! So be aware of that. I also tried the medi bowl today. This will definitely save for a later meal. It was basically a quinoa bowl. Portion side on the bowl is decent too. I love that they offer some alcoholic drinks to choose from. I've had their street fries before, just not at this location & those are always phenomenal. Staff was great today & I got my food quickly. Everything tasted really fresh & presentation was beautiful. My only complaint is that I asked for no onions & I think I got extra onions in my medi bowl. Otherwise it was great! Highly recommend & they have several locations!! read more

This place felt a lot heavier and greasy than I was expecting for a Mediterranean place. I think if I want fried food in the future I will probably just choose a greasy burger and fries. However, the fries and sweet potato fries here really are delicious! It was also so fun that they had board games to play while you wait for your food. The Diet Coke was superb. :) read more

Worst customer service ever! Placed a door dash order and was shorted a large sweet potato fries, which by the way is not cheap. The moron who answered the phone, either Kayla or Mia, was absolutely rude and said "either come pick it up or take the L and suck it up". I was taken aback by her rudeness and absolute lack of customer service. Who talks like that to a customer? I'm assuming she's an uneducated enabled teen who absolutely hates her job and why this establishment hires someone like her is beyond me, this is how you lose customers. To make things worse when I asked to talk to a manager her response was "don't ever come back to this location" then hung up. I hated to even leave a one star since they don't even deserve that. Overpriced lousy service, don't worry I'll never WASTE my money here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

Aaaaahhhhhhmazing!!!!!!! I am so glad they now have a Draper location! This is going to be a regular for me. I am OBSESSED with the street cart fries I live adding the doner meat, but will try the chicken next time. They are amazing. I'd get these every day if I could. They are so fresh and flavorful. This time I got half regular fries and half sweet potato fries. You just can't go wrong with these. The street cart wrap is also delicious!!! I look forward to trying so much more from their menu! read more

I love the food here...usually I order to be delivered but happened to stop on my way home to pick up a Doner Salad YUM! The cashier met me with a smile, she was friendly, courteous and helpful and said "thank you for coming in", PLUS a kind gentleman brought my order to my table instead of calling out a number or name. This was truly refreshing to have this experience and I'd like to point out that when I got home the salad was fantastic and the baklava nut roll to die for! I'll be coming in more often and would encourage others to do the same! As a business owner myself, I hope that the employees (working Saturday Feb 1 at 8:45 pm) are given a "good job and extra kudos" for the experience that they gave. read more

Good but not delicious. Staff was great to educate me re: how the ordering process was a bit different.

This place is well managed. They say they're short staffed and are apologetic about wait times but I have never felt like I waited an unreasonable amount of time for delicious and freshly prepared food. The staff is polite, genuine people. This place gets busy during lunch and dinner all week, I would expect this of a great food establishment. Format is the same as the other locations- order, pay, sit with a number and they bring you the items. Only reason for docking one star is the bathrooms. The patrons trash it and there's no way the staff has time to upkeep them during peak hours. Just wish the people using them would be more considerate. read more

I have been wanting to try this place out for literally years, and their new location in Draper finally made it a lot easier to do! I went on a Friday afternoon with my husband for lunch. First impression was a fun place with a funky atmosphere. And so we got in line...and it moved. very. slow. But I had great company so whatever!! We ordered the Mediterranean Doner and the spitz street fries (half and half) with added protein because we'd been told this was the best thing on the menu. And the fries definitely were the best of the two things we got. Loaded with toppings and great flavor, BUT...I couldn't really get past the weird sensation of cold meat on hot fries. I asked a Spitz regular about this later and he said the meat should have been warm. And that would definitely have made it much better. So too bad for us, I guess? The Doner was dry. I wish I'd gone up and asked for a giant cup of tzaziki sauce but the place was busy so I just dealt but it wasn't as good as I'd hoped. And that sums it up. Spitz: Not as good as I'd hoped. I'd definitely go back and try for a truly warm batch of street fries again, but otherwise I'll be trekking elsewhere for my Mediterranean fix. read more

Food is amazing!!! The 2 stars is not for the food, the food is always on point!! But my friend and I went Friday night and this girl with Dreadlocks was at the front taking our order and she was SO short or and rude to us! We were still thinking and talking about what we wanted and she said "do you need more time to think" and I turned around and NO One was behind us and she seemed to think she was busy?? Then it took like 20 min for our food, we went up to ask how much long and she rolled her eyes at me and said "soon, we have other orders too" like sooo rude like Then she brought our food and like threw it down at our table and she forgot our extra side of sauce and I asked nicely if she could bring it and she literally ignored me and said absolutely nothing. She just walked away. Then 10 min later came back with the sides. She was soooo rude to us when we were nothing but nice! Love spitz but won't be coming back to the Draper one!! read more
