The service at this establishment is absolutely abhorrent, and there was a whole press-on nail in our food. Our order was brought out and had been mistaken for someone else's. When we brought it up with the woman at the counter she seemed very annoyed that we brought it up to her. We ordered a chicken euro and halfway through we discovered an entire press-on-nail. We were understandably disgusted and asked for a refund. Carol (presumably the manager) told us that none of the women in the kitchen were allowed to wear nails. We could see three women (including the cashier) wearing acrylic nails. She told us that they weren't responsible for the nail and therefore wouldn't give us a refund. We opted for a gift card that we won't be using. The way the situation was handled was extremely disappointing. If not a refund, a little bit of accountability would have been nice. Great (and unsanitary) food, decent atmosphere, shockingly disheartening management. We will not be back. read more

I had heard so much about Spitz and finally got to visit. I ordered take out to meet my friend who loves Spitz. If you didn't know like me their specialty is Mediterranean food. It's the Diet I should be on but I'm not. I digress. The food is fresh I had a salad bowl packed with all of the Med goodness you could fit in. My friend loves the Med wrap and adds all three meats. It was huge and enough for two meals at least. The best part though, which ruins my diet plans, are the French Fries. I'm kind of picky because I don't eat them often so when I do they better be good. These aren't just good they are amazing. So I'll be back for my fries. I didn't give it five stars because I had sticker shock when I paid. It came to $49 with a basic tip. Going out to eat is the Yelpers favorite pass time but this was too expensive for what we got. Oh well hopefully the world gets back to reasonable prices soon! read more

I love Mediterranean food and am sad that there aren't more places like this across the valley. The service was good and the cashier was kind enough to give me their favorite recommendations. Today I arrived for lunch at Spitz, in Draper. I have wanted to try there Doner Salad for some time. It was 1:30PM and they were a dozen patrons enjoying lunch. I placed my order and took a seat. The dining room is reminiscent of a cafeteria, with long wooden tables and benches that seem to encourage group dining. The tables, chairs and floor were clean. I had only sat for two minutes and my meal arrived. It was a beautiful salad, very fresh, filled with Mediterranean, spiced beef and lamb, baked chickpeas, grated feta, rice, Kalamata olives, and a delightful lemony dressing. The food was delicious, and I was very pleased with my selection. The benches were a tad awkward to climb into, but I am very tall so it's probably me. I can't wait to try their Gyro wrap. I would definitely recommend this place for a healthy, delicious, lunch or dinner. it's a good value. read more

Love this place. Fast casual healthy food. The wraps are awesome and they give a lot of meat for the price. Hate getting a wrap or bowl and it's a ton of rice and meat, not the case here! As you can see in the pics below the two different Doner Wraps I got. Both great - can't wait to go back! Try to go around lunch or early dinner, as the night goes on like any place I feel the meat is more stale, and has a burnt crunch to it lol. So don't go then! Haha. As far as service goes you can order online and grab it or walk in and give your order. Both work just fine. I've ordered a few times from Spitz and usually they do very well. I ordered two hours ahead of time for a big order, they still made me wait over half an hour for the food after the order time. They also forgot our fries that were on the side of a few bowls. I was not impressed with the service and the timeliness of the staff today. read more

This place was great for a while. If I have a bad experience somewhere I generally give the place another shot (sometimes it's an anomaly or an off-night, or something). The last two times I went to this location, though, the food was less than mediocre. What little meat they put on my gyro was dry, very little toppings, a pasty-tasting Berliner sauce, and there was pretty much no tzatziki sauce (at least not enough to taste it). It's like they've stopped caring. I'll still hit the downtown location when I'm up that way, I'm hoping hey haven't caught the don't-give-a-shit epidemic from the Draper location. When you pay that much for something, you generally want it to look and taste somewhat like the description on the menu. Even with the BOGO coupons from the calendar, I won't be back. read more

I've decided to start exploring the menus here a bit more, although I have to remind myself to go find a drink elsewhere, since what is in the fountains is nearly always junk. I really wish everyone would just have a Coke Freestyle and just have done with things, but too much to ask, I suppose. Anyway, this time I had the remix bowl and I was quite impressed with it overall. I still don't like most of the side sauces and I think I'd have to modify it a bit to get it to where I'd really like it to be, but perhaps in future. As it was, they did an excellent job here and it was surprisingly unexpectedly filling, something else I seem to always forget about these places. Anyway, this is overall the equal to the Sugarhood location, which is sort of my benchmark and gold standard for these locations, so good on them. read more

I tried Spitz's new cheese flatbread and I definitely wasn't disappointed!! It was delicious! It's not currently on their online menu as it must be brand new, but it's certainly worth a try! The lightly seasoned crust was just the right amount of crunchy and the hint of sun dried tomato and basil pesto they used paired amazingly with the cheese. They have a few other flatbread flavors that I'm sure would be just as delicious, if not more! The employees were all super friendly and the service was quick!
