We finally tried Flower Child in Riverton and it's safe to say we're hooked! The vibe inside is so bright and welcoming, but the food is the real star. We ordered the Mediterranean Chicken Kebab Bowl and the Chicken Enchiladas. The kebab bowl was fresh with the perfect pop of flavor from the harissa and yogurt sauce, and the enchiladas were surprisingly hearty and delicious (the poblano crema is a game-changer but beware, the Gouda is quite rich.) Usually, "healthy" spots can feel a bit light, but we left feeling totally satisfied and instantly knew we wanted to go back to try the rest of the menu. This restaurant is located in my favorite shopping center in Utah - Mountain View Village. I've been wanting to try it since seeing it while walking around. The restaurant is so beautiful from the outside and even MORE so on the inside! It's so bright, colorful and VERY clean and tidy. It also has an outside covered porch area that lets in great light. Now, for the food. AMAZING! Super tasty AND super healthy - literally best of both worlds. It was hard for me to nail down what to try on my first visit but I ended up ordering the Brussels Sprouts & Organic Kale salad w/shrimp. Great decision! The salad is finely chopped, including the brussel sprouts! It made for a great salad texture. Never had brussel sprouts that weren't in ball form before, so this was a yummy surprise. Despite the salad being filled with fruits, it is more so a savory salad, which one of the kind workers did mention prior to me ordering it. I'm a savory gal so I did not mind at all! The first thing that I noticed when they brought my salad out was the incredible smell of the freshly cooked shrimp on top. They were well seasoned, good size, and nicely cooked. You also get a good portion of shrimps too, thank goodness; don't you hate it when you don't have enough protein for every bite of your salad?! I also ordered a side of the cauliflower risotto - super delicious! VERY unique flavor with the coconut in it. I'm all about fusion so I enjoyed it. For dessert, I ate the lemon olive oil cake. That was probably the most moist cake I've had in my life. Nice flavors, not too sweet. It was the perfect dessert! The size of it was similar to a muffin/cupcake so not too heavy. All in all, I WILL DEFINITELY BE RETURNING to try new items :) I love how healthy it all is and the ambiance itself is already so welcoming and fun. I have a coworker and I've never seen her happier than when talking about this place so eventually I caved and ordered it. I got steak that actually had flavor, gluten-free mac and cheese that tasted suspiciously like regular mac and cheese, and sweet corn & quinoa that made me feel like I'm meeting my macros. Delicious healthful menu items that you can feel good about eating. Have been here twice now once for takeout and once for dine in. Didn't have the best take out experience as initially the expediter gave me someone else's order (thankfully I could feel that the bag was hot and I had ordered a cold item so I gave it back to her) and then once they gave me the correct bag later I didn't think to double check them again but my to go order was incorrect again (I had placed the order in person at the register so I didn't expect this) which I didn't discover until my destination. In person dining experience was excellent. Both my husband and I loved our meals and both were made correctly. Inside is light and airy and they have a fun vibe. 3/5 for takeout but 5/5 for dine in. Ahhh.. I can say that this is my all-time favorite place and first choice of food options to eat in, take out or order for home delivery! Everything they offer is flavorful, freshly made and quite afforadable. With so many vegetarian mix and match options, you'll never get bored! I highly recommend the Tofu plate: Order the tofu slices well-done, add some tamari sauce on the side for dipping and choose the the corn/quinoa combo and the mac and cheese as your two side dishes. In a sea of greasy chicken places, it's nice to see something FRESH....welcome Flower Child! The menu boasts a variety of creative, colorful and healthy food options. I enjoyed my Glow Bowl. The atmosphere here is adorable-bright & cheerful would be the words I'd use to describe the place. There's tons of seating-both indoor and on the covered patio. There is lemon water at the front door, which is a nice touch if you're waiting in line and need a quench. There's also a large water dispenser toward the back of the restaurant. Both myself and my teenage daughter had great meals. Seemed a little expensive at first but after the third great bite in a row that issue evaporated. Very well done spot. My wife and I went for lunch on opening day, January 13, 2026, and had a great experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and we were even given tote bags with small bouquets of flowers, which was a nice touch. The restaurant is bright, open, and feels larger than the Foothill location thanks to all the glass windows. Even with the opening-day crowd, the line moved quickly. We ordered the Steakhouse Wedge Salad with salmon and the Mediterranean Chicken Kabob Bowl--both were well presented, fresh, and delicious. The salmon was cooked perfectly, and the staff was very attentive throughout our visit. Prices are a bit on the higher side, and some dishes require paying extra for protein, but the quality makes up for it. I'll definitely be back to try more. This is the second time I have been here. The first I left a review but for some reason it was deleted. This place seems to be very busy all the time. The location is good and the inside is very friendly. The staff were quick and efficient. We both had the chicken which is very good. My sides were the Mac n cheese and carrots and the wife had the broccoli and sweet potatoes. The Mac and cheese were great. Very cheesy. The carrots were not my favorite though. I don't know if they do this exclusively but they will give you a table number before you order so that they control who sits where without there being a hostess. It's super cute and vibey inside. Confused by this place. First couple times it was great. This last time it was awful. Ordered the chicken plate with cauliflower risotto and sweet potato fries. There were only 3 pieces of chicken that had a very odd taste and the sweet potato fries were hard and dried out. I wouldn't personally get the risotto again.
