I have been to spins many times. I went last night on August 8th and I was very disappointed, there was more machines that were either broken or unavailable to use than machines that were working. When I asked for assistance for a machine, they had told me that there was no manager and that they help me. I now have to find another place to go to because I am very disappointed. read more

First time going to this place and my wife and I LOVED IT! The food was surprisingly good for an arcade. The BBQ was nicely done and the burgers were seasoned well on a nice soft bun. The IPA and domestic beers had nice choices. The wait service was enjoyable. Very helpful with the menu as well being able to help you with beer selections. Now, the arcade!! I guess if you don't look at the trash on the ground or the dirty bathroom with trash overflowing it's not that bad.. they need a new management team that will walk in and see the place with fresh eyes.. Food really needs improvement and so does the wait staff!!! I have been there 3 times now and each time I go it's worse. The person who responded to all the good reviews needs to respond to the bad ones also.. the games need to work and that would also mean that the staff needs to work also.. It's time for a meeting of the minds on how to improve the atmosphere and the staff. We've always enjoyed going here. It's great for the kids to be able to run around and play a variety of games while we can hang out with friends and chat and have a few drinks. But the last time we went, literally 50% of the games were out of order. We of course did not realize this until after we had paid for the cards and there was no discount even though there were far fewer games to play. For MGMT - clean this place up. There is trash everywhere. Broken games. Claw games without prizes. More rubber ducks than alcohol behind the bar. The bathroom has trash overflowing. The prize-collect station has many missing tags to show how much the toys are worth in tickets. You should play some music to set a vibe and get people to stay. It's not hard, just needs the right manager to put the team in place. We were hoping to stay for a while and have dinner here. However my cousins who were visiting from out-of-town were so turned off by the mess and therefore didn't want to eat or stay here. read more

Just moved to nearby area...and found this through Yelp. The ride from Bear Mountain side was a great view along with the water view once you arrive. Place has a like a 3 in 1- meaning Spins Hudson is the arcade part that you come upon once you enter, "River Outpost" located in the back is a casual sit down and eat plus brewery, then upstairs is a fine dining restaurant (can't remember the name). Service and food was great and quick. Loved the vibe, will come back. The arcade reminds me of a small scale Dave and Busters. The area also has axe throwing, pool tables, and a private party section. When you look outside, it seems there is a rope obstacle course that is overlooking the Hudson River and there are benches out there as well. Overall looking forward to returning. read more

I always have to wait to play my son in pool because there are small children on the pool table. Definitely needs another pool table. We tried to order some nachos But the bartender said "I THINK we are out of chips" then I had to follow up with the bartender 5 minted later to find out if they actually had chips or not... there weren't any. Made reservations days in advance for Father's Day to eat outside by the water. When we arrived we were told that a group of six was too big, four would be different, and that they had tried to call earlier in the day (there was no phone call earlier in the day) but we were welcome to eat inside. Inside the service was incredibly slow every step of the way. Taking order, bringing beverages, refilling waters, and eventually bringing out food 45 minutes after we ordered. On top of this, two of the orders were messed up but at that point we didn't feel it was worth the time to wait for the correct item as we had reserved times for activities at Spins that we were already late for due to the slow service. This is great place in Croton not only for kids, adults too. There is an arcade place for all the games. Ropes course for people 42" or taller. They have also laser tag as well. So much fun, you can arrange special occasions like birthday parties. Adults can enjoy at the bar have some snacks, appetizers. Me and my family visited a few days ago. We signed up for the indoor climbing area. The course workers were more then welcoming and made our time very pleasant. A special thanks to them. These boys were extremely helpful and made sure that everyone had a good time and insured safety. Although one of the workers was beside himself and threw his harness against the desk after a small dispute with another employee, to see something like that was very concerning and unprofessional. Other than that we enjoyed our time in the arcade and had a blast. The location is amazing and had a beautiful sunset on the waterfront. 10/10 will be coming back! :) read more

My boyfriend and I went up to Peekskill from the city and stayed at The Holiday Inn and wanted to go somewhere walking distance. It's a good 10min walk not bad at all. We made it for Happy Hour which was $4 beers and 25% off appetizers, we spent less than $40 on 3 beers and 2 apps! We also decided to stick around and play in the arcade which was crazy cheap! The food is a little overpriced for the portions and it takes a long time to receive the food especially the appetizer. The arcade looks cool did not check it out cause the food took a long time to make. The food does taste pretty good I had 2 pizzas the JC Pizza and the Sausage pizza tasty but small and pricey. Brought my friend here as a holiday present. We had a spectacular time!! The staff was very friendly and helpful on showing us how to use the machine. My friend was scared of heights but the staff ensured us that we were 100% safe and they were able to assist if we felt we could not handle any of the courses. The staff on shift made our experience memorable!! I would say to come at an off peak hour like we did, as it can get crowded and they don't want more than 3 people per platform. We went at 1:30pm and at 2pm a lot of people came on making it more difficult to do exactly what we wanted to do. But, overall it was really a lot of fun and we will be going back in the spring to explore the outdoor course!! The outdoor and indoor course are very affordable and they have so many obstacles to maneuver through; you will not realize that an hour has flown by as you do this!! Great location and beautiful space. Food was delicious and tasty! Our sever was super nice and very accommodating!!! Overall great experience except for one part. We spent $60 on the arcade games (plus over $100 on food and drink). We went to get prizes for our kids and the woman who rang us up told us that the item we wanted to get was mislabeled on the shelf and was really slightly more points than we had. While she explained why some of the items were mislabeled, the fact was that the tag said one thing and she wouldn't honor what was on the tag. False advertising. She was very rude and unprofessional. Finally after going back and forth a bit, and asking to speak to the manager, she gave in, but again was extremely rude about the whole situation. We spent a decent amount of money and in the end, she gave me such a hard time over a cheap plastic toy that my kid really wanted. I would have been more understanding if she weren't so rude. Usually at these types of pLaces, they let you slide if the difference is a small amount, so I was surprised that they gave me such a hard time over a small difference when it was their mistake to begin with. What a fun place! Celebrated a friend's birthday at Spins. We were a group of 14 adults (all coupled) b/w 30 and 50 years old, with two small children (under 5 years old)...a casual outing. None of us felt 'out of place' because the crowd was so diverse. Probably one of the most diverse I've been around in a while. We all met in the beer garden area, had drinks, burgers and picked on finger foods. All decent enough for even a hardcore foodie. Thumbs up! I don't drink beer, but those that did seem to appreciate the options. The one complaint about the setup is that there really wasn't an area where we could claim as our own since reservations are not accepted. Throughout the afternoon, it felt like we were dancing around letting others not part of our group gain access to the bar, seating area or gym/laser tag entrance. The original plan was to meet outside, but the weather was not cooperating. Can't control mother nature, but a view of the Hudson as a backdrop made up for it. After our meals and drinks we participated in some of the activities Spins had to offer. The two children had a grand time playing the video games and 12 of us enjoyed laser tag. I've never done laser tag, didn't think I would enjoy it, but ended up having a blast. The other more notable activity was the VR setup. Definitely one of the best VR experiences I've had. There is just so much going on that there's something for everyone, even for someone just looking to get out for an evening of billiards. All in all, great fun place, well maintained equipment, good eats and draft beer. Definitely will make it back with hopes of enjoying the outdoor patio. read more

Yesterday was my son's 11th birthday party. I found this place on a date with my husband. I knew right away my son would love the place and booked the party. We went with the airborne platinum package, wanting to give my son and his friends a full experience at everything spins has to offer. We arrived about a half hour prior to our start time and was welcomed and brought to my area! My party area was spacious and cleanly ! It had tables for the children to sit and eat, a place for the food, drinks and gifts. There was even a section of couches with adult life-size games, like Jenga, and connect four!! Vena was an amazing host! Once you took the kids into the ropes course, I was able to rent a ax, throwing lane in for all of the parents we enjoyed our time instead of standing around waiting for the party to end! MJ was amazing! How she kept attentive to all the lanes was truly incredible!The parents were able to enjoy food and drinks all while knowing that children safely being taken care of by the party host!(I cannot say enough about this place) during the summer months that beautiful outdoor areas for seating by the water there's a ropes courses, even outside during the better weather. Even after our party was over we continue to enjoy spending time at spins. It was a Saturday night, and we never felt crowded or overwhelmed. I will never go back to Dave & Buster's again. We hosted a graduation/birthday party for my kids with about 30 guests of all ages. George, MJ and the entire staff were fantastic!!! The party space was clean, food came out on time and was yummy. The laser tag, ax throwing and arcade provided hours of fun. Giant jenga and giant connect four was also a big hit. Adult beverages were available at the River Outpost. It was an extremely hot day so the staff made sure there was ice water and lemonade for the kids. I would highly recommend this venue for a party. read more

This place is a perfect combination of bar atmosphere + group outing. Between shuffle board, bocce, pool, rope-course, laser tag, arcade games...you'll keep friends, kids and family entertained. The young staff needs better training in general but everyone was friendly and polite. We couldn't get a straight answer about their restaurants (are there 2?)....the bar server wasn't sure about beers on tap...and we had to ask for things like plates when we ordered food. Management needs to pay attention to these details to make it a GREAT spot for repeat customers. But it's definitely worth a visit, and you'll have a fun time. read more

I had my son's 6th birthday party there on Sunday 2/12/23 and it was a disaster. To say that I am very disappointed in the event would be an understatement. I was told that I would be able to get into the room at 2:30 to decorate, when I arrived at 2:30 I was told that the last party was running late and it would be about 10-15minutes. I went and looked in the party room and they were just serving the food at this time. After talking with management, we decided to just let the kids go straight to the arcade and then we would go to the room. I asked to have the cards with the arcade credits ready for the kids when they arrived so I could hand them out. We had 19 children including my son. Everyone started arriving a little before 3 and I explained to them the issue and that we were working on getting the cards so the kids could start playing. Apparently they were having computer problems and were unable to get the cards for the kids. I had confirmed the number of kids before the party so why weren't these cards ready in advance? Finally, at 3:30 I spoke to them again and they still didn't have a solution so at that point I had 19 kids with no party room (room was empty by then but hadn't been cleaned) staring at games and unable to play. Some of the parents had already bought their own cards for their children which is very embarrassing. At that time I decided to purchase 19 cards through the kiosk with $30 on each card for a total of $570. When we finally got into the room we started talking about food, I had ordered extra food which the party host knew nothing about, thankfully they were able to add the extra food and have it come out with the children's food. This party wound up costing me $750 and it was definitely not worth it! They did give the kids extra arcade credits because of all the issues but I really feel that I should not have paid full price for this party. read more

I was here this past weekend with about 15 people for my cousins birthday party. We bought many drinks and countless appetizers and all enjoyed it. However, into the evening my cousin and his friends were told they were being too loud and rowdy and were cut off from the bar. This was frustrating and surprising, given we were all having a good time and spending a lot of money as a group. Needless to say I'm sure we won't be back here. Extremely upset with the recent experience I had at Spins. I called on Friday night to confirm their hours of operation for Saturday and was told they would be open 11am-midnight. I showed up around 3pm and was told that the entire inside (arcade, restaurant area) would be closing for a private event from 4-7:30pm. I hired a babysitter to stay with my infant and planned a special day to take my older son out and it was ruined. I spoke to a supervisor about this and suggested that employees that answer the phone are aware of things like this so they don't give wrong information to customers. This young girl was extremely rude and very sarcastically nodded and smiled at me. This "supervisor" put such a bad taste in my mouth that I doubt I will ever visit this location again. read more

When I went to redeem my tickets I had enough for 10 warheads and when I redeemed them I was short 4 tickets to get ten and the employee said that I only had enough for 9 which was really petty and rude.
