Really enjoyed it. Had fun with the kids. Everyone socially distanced. Definitely will go back.

This was a really cute spot to take the kids. Pretty affordable and a nice time. People were complaining about loose stones but those really didnt bother me. As soon as we were done the kids wanted to do it all over again. The employees were also very sweet. I really liked that they planted trees throughout it so most of it was nice and shaded.

Missing stones.

Overall the place can use some TLC. Leaves are all over the course(please clean up the leaves), stones missing (balls flying off course, please place stones back), the holes need to be deeper and the flag pole for one course could not come out and lastly label the course. The label for course 12 is missing. These are all easy fixes which shouldn't take long to clean up. Take pride in your mini course and maintain it. For these reasons I give this course two stars. Please repair/maintain.

Really fun cheap idea to do with the family! It's located in the park so there is plenty of parking. Plus there are outdoor tables if you want to do a picnic and a swing set for the kids to play on. It doesn't have any elaborate holes but it is still a great time.

Shady and comfortable.

The 18-hole miniature is dimly lit with a horror resemblance of night and gloom. While you are working on your putts, admire the neat Halloween decorations while listening to club music. It would have fit better into the scenery if only Halloween music was played, but the tunes are still enjoyable. Whether or not you are an experienced miniature golf does not bear any significance as the primary goal is to have a great time! In addition to the golf course, a variety of arcade machines and carnival style games are available. Although the graphics are detailed and entertaining, the cost per game is costly and the playing time does not last long. If you have an hourish to spare, I would highly recommend exploring this golf course. It is family oriented and geared for all age groups. As a bonus, there is an axe throwing range conveniently located next door if you need another hour of recreation. #monsterminigolf #halloween #paramusnj #monsterminigolfparamus

We picked a location that was the midpoint between my home in Connecticut and my parents' home in New York City. We couldn't have chosen a better place than Banana Cabana! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by a staff member (I wish I had caught her name) who greeted us with a big smile. She gave an excellent demonstration on how to properly throw an axe, let us practice a few rounds, and provided helpful tips on positioning our arms and legs for the best results. The venue had a great drink menu with plenty of options, including non-alcoholic beer. We also loved the variety of games available Battleship was a favorite! Another fun touch was the TouchTunes music system, where we could purchase credits and play our favorite songs. We definitely took advantage of that! Overall, we had an amazing time and will 100% be returning if we're ever in the area again.

We drove a long distance to we went in to learn to throw some Axes. They seemed a bit short staff but in good spirits I saw a tiki bar and they had scannable QR codes on the tables but they bar and food options where closed as well so missed opportunity there. Axe throwing definitely will make you thirsty we did the 1 Hr option and would've signed up for more if there was a food and beverage option there. Only thing I didn't like is you pay for an hour but the staff started the timer before hand so we didn't get an actual hour they started the timer and then explained the rules to us and showed us how to throw it would make sense to do the tutorial and then start the timer once we are ready or once they are done explaining. All in all it was a fun experience with our group of friends definitely fun to do.

Nice views of the water along the boardwalk. A very cool old-school retro feel, like America and apple pie days of the past. The park's grounds are well maintained. As some mentioned there were rides which were not open but hopefully this summer all will be operational as it's a nice day trip to have some fun. It's a very family friendly place and good for the kiddies. Food is available but it's basically carnival eats - pizza, hot dogs, burgers, ice cream, fries, chicken fingers - which is as expected. You come here to enjoy not worry about your diet. Hopefully the new ownership who took it over will have everything up and running this season.

Admission is free, and rides were free for my 23 month old son, he had just made the 36" mark to ride. We only brought one $15 adult ticket for rides since someone had to watch our new baby . Like most reviewers mentioned, there are quite a few rides that were closed, probably around 1/4 of the rides were not operating on a Saturday! Fortunately, there was minimal waiting for rides. 2-5 minutes max, or no wait at all! The rides are not in the best conditions. We spent most of our time at the kiddie section. I went on the submarine ride with my son and ride suddenly stopped at the top as it was half way through. The jolt (when the ride stopped) was so big that my back spine slammed into the seat. It was painful and quite scary for myself. I asked the operator about what had just happened on my way out, and he said it happens often!! Horror!! Your food options are extremely limited. Pizza ( cheese or pepperoni), chicken fingers, fries, hot dogs, burgers, ice cream, and pretzels. I may be missing a few! I was in shock to learn a bottle of purified water would cost $4.50, so pack your own water to stay hydrated!!
