My boyfriend and I spent the weekend in Danbury over the weekend. Our flight back to Michigan was in the evening and we stopped at The Cave right when they opened. We love a good mini golf place- we're very competitive! It was 18 holes. Perfect for kids or date night. It was challenging at times. We skipped on the arcade, although they have lots of newer games. Two kids played laser tag and raved about how much fun it was. We tried mini bowling. We had so much fun!! Each lane has four balls and we had issues getting our bowls back but it all worked out. The glow was a very nice touch! We'd go back if we were ever in the area again. read more

This place is OK. If you just want a normal mini golf place this is the perfect place for you cause it's not good but it's also not bad. I really miss monster mini golf which used to be in this exact location. if you you want a mid mini golf session this is the perfect place for you. read more

I'll start by saying the staff was very friendly and accommodating. My daughter celebrated her birthday with the VIP package which said we'd have a private room upstairs and unlimited access to the attractions for 2 hours. Technically this was true, but the room was connected to another room with only a curtain as a divider. The other party was so loud we couldn't hear ourselves talk. As I said previously, the staff were very nice, but there were not enough of them to operate each thing, so the kids had to stand around and wait for a good portion of time. Overall the kids said they'd give it a 3.5-4stars. As a parent paying $700 for this party, I'd lean more toward 3 simply because the kids had to wait around for things and our space wasn't actually "private." read more

Had a birthday here for my son and the experience was great. The entire staff - from planning the party to the actual party- were helpful and so nice. We had to reschedule due to a snow storm and they made it very stress free. My son & his friends had a great time! read more

I took my 9th grader and their friend to The Cave in Bethel on a Thursday afternoon. We arrived approximately at 2:15. The traffic in Bethel as we approached this establishment was insane. I felt as if I were driving in the middle of rush hour in NY city. So maneuvering lanes both on and off the highway was very challenging. There is plenty of parking at The Cave but be sure to park in the back as the entrance is also located in the back of the building. There was a rather long line to pay, get your wristband and arcade card. As one other viewer mentioned many of the arcade games were out of order and the same was true for the VR attractions. The interior is dark as to feature all of the glow-in-the-dark decor which is cool to experience. There is plenty of lightening to see everything. We will not be returning to this establishment as it is not worth the stressful driving conditions or the amount of money you have to pay for each attraction especially when many of them aren't operational. read more

Fun place for guests of all ages, with something fun to do for everyone. Mini golf, arcade games, bumper cars, rope course, laser tag, bowling-you name it they have it. Several arcade games were out of order and a few attractions weren't open due to limited staff. If your traveling far, I would call to make sure the attraction you want is open. The arcade games are very inexpensive and $20 does stretch far compared to other places we've been. Staff was incredibly friendly and very helpful when we had questions. Con: It is dark & very noisy/loud. For most kids/adults this won't be a problem but for some children it can be very overwhelming. Great place that you can spend a few hours having a fun time! read more

Mini golf was a lot of fun here. Laser tag looks very cool here, trying that out next weekend (update to come.) the bumper cars is a bit small for adults and teens, but young kids under 12 would probably enjoy it. The VR machines/games look very funny and everyone that tried them sounded like they had a blast. The arcade area is a bit disappointing, but has a few great games. Biggest downside was the air hockey table eating the puck and not giving it back repeatedly. 3 of the games weren't functioning properly. Overall, this is a fun places to spend the afternoon or evening and I'm excited to go back and try laser tag. read more

Came here one afternoon where they had a special for $28 that included a $7 game card and 4 attractions. We chose the mini golf, mini bowling, lazer tag and VR. Had my daughter's birthday here yesterday and we all had an awesome experience. Kids had a blast and the staff were very helpful. The black lights and cool decor add so much to the experience. Our party host Caley was awesome! We were so impressed by her work ethic and she was very thoughtful and super efficient. The place had a nice family feel yet exciting at the same time. We stumbled across here randomly driving through town and we were blown away! Deeply old school entertainment with a retro soundtrack and offerings like glow mini golf, laser tag, axe throwing, bumper cars and more! Had a great time at the cave. Glow in the dark miniature golf, air hockey and arcades. This was a perfect getaway for some easy cheap fun.

I attended the Cave with my family hoping to have a great time during the holiday week. None of the staff knew what they were doing. They allowed us to pay for bumper cars when the attraction was out of order. We waited over an hour for an employee to come assist us with axe throwing, we were originally told it would take 30 minutes. Very annoying. The staff members were laying on the couches that were for visitors taking their breaks. I wouldn't waste my time or money, Xtreme Play is a better experience. read more

Our Grandsons love going to The Cave! They enjoy all of the activities, especially laser tag, bowling, and the arcade machines. Has a lot of potential. Bumper cars are great, mini golf is awesome, but the arcade can use some work. I've went twice in the last two weeks and the first time there was a good amount of games that were out order, and this time there was even more. They were pretty busy and there was lines for most of the arcade games. The bumper cars were very cool, but their was only one worker downstairs that was running a VR game so no one even knew if they were available to ride. Again, great place, but it seems like most of the customers wanted the mini golf, bowling or arcade games, and there definitely wasn't enough of those to go around. read more

Super excited to bring my sister and nephew who live all the way in California to experience The Cave!! When we got there they were closed for a private party and my nephew was super bummed after I was just crowned Auntie Lisa Queen of Fun and we had just driven an hour to get to this awesome place. But, we asked to use the restroom rooms and then when we got out we were then greeted by this wonderful woman DOROTHY who made everything 100 times better she told us we could stay there while they set up for their next party, we could do the two things we were really looking forward to doing which was Laser Tag and the Monster Mini Golf! Now that's Customer Service. I want to thank Dorothy and the staff at the Cave for doing what they do! I have been there before and you bet I will be back there again with more friends!! The black light experience is so fun, it's a cool place to be on a hot day, it's clean, smells great, staff is extremely friendly, all in all fun for all ages!! Can't wait to go back!!
