Go karts are way too slow. You can basically run these carts full throttle for like 99% of the track (and maybe 95% throttle entering some corners). It was not challenging at all and borderline boring. Also for some reason the track surface changes midway through to a more slick surface. One of the people in our group inquired it and was told that they had to reduce the top speed because they were having issues with the carts going too fast (several carts were out of commission). This was unacceptable imo because we were still paying full price. On top of that the on line reservation system is messed up. We had a group of 8 people trying to sign up for the same races but times would randomly disappear which made it hard for us all to book together (even though in reality they were not sold out). Hopefully when we arrived the front desk was able to get us all together.

    TIME TO RACE

I have been around a couple of tracks accumulating almost 7k points in k1 speed and i can tell you the Mount Kisco track is one of the best i visited, the staff is friendly , polite and safety inclined , you will have lots of fun like i always do!!! Racing here is a challenge for the people that want to really feel the heat of racing. and also fun for the kids with all their arcade games and food. Ferdy and his staff are just great !!!!!!! will definatly keep coming back for more.

They could really improve the prizes at this arcade.

I enjoy coming to this arcade with my kids but I think there are some ways they could improve. I'll start with some of the things I appreciate about this place. It's big and has a nice variety of arcade games. I think they could offer a bit more value when buying credits. $50 gets you 136 credits which is about 45 plays if you take the average of most games being about 3 credits. It would be nice if you got some free credits which the purchase of a $20 card. I've gone twice and the staff working in the prize area were super unfriendly. The prizes are disappointing. As parents we spent $100 for two kids to play in the arcade our kids ended up collectively with about 3000 tickets and there weren't any prizes they even wanted. The owners should invest in some nicer prizes. These prizes wholesale costs very little. It wouldn't hurt to be more generous.

Upon arrival, we waited in line for a few minutes and by time we got to the front we were told to go to the computers off to the side to make an account to get our K1 Speed "license." Then we had to get back in line again. Wish there was a sign that said to make an account first so we didn't waste time. Once getting our "license" we were given a head wrap to wear underneath our helmets and told that the next race wasn't for another hour. I asked the guy if he could give us a schedule - are races at the top of each other? This would help us determine where we could go eat to kill time. He just said to come back in a hour and he would make it work. To be honest, I had zero confidence. I thought we were going to rush back from eating and then wait another 30mins but he thankfully told us he could have us racing in 5mins. The race was fun - there were 6 of us as a group along with a few strangers in the mix. We did the lowest option which was included 2 races. One race itself is 12 laps which takes approx 10mins. The 2 race option was about $55 per person - little pricey considering how quickly it goes. K1 is an indoor go-kart race facility located inside the Palisades Mall on the 2nd level. It's all electric and the adult karts can go up to 45mins. Vroom vroom

GOOD THINGS: - Good-looking park, beach, and atmosphere - Added a pool area in there - I rode the Dragon Coaster, Sawmill River, Bumper Cars, Grand Carousel, Music Express, Old Rye Motorbike Factory, Zombie Castle, and the Crazy Mouse. - Affordable - Solid food - Nice employees - Great beach as usual BAD THINGS: - About 25% of the rides were closed - They removed some rides, including the Go Karts... - Lack of variety for the arcade prizes - Lack of park maps Hopefully they'll make this park better for the next 5-10 years.

Security checks bags at the entrance, but they will let you in with just about any outside food and drink. We saw families bring in entire 2L bottles of juice! THE NOT SO GOOD ----------------------------- - UNFORTUNATELY, a majority of the employees (mostly high school/college students) operating the rides weren't very friendly and seemed somewhat tortured when operating them. MIXED THOUGHTS ---------------------------- = Nada. RANDOM OBSERVATIONS -------------------------------------- = Big park ride tickets/bands are slightly more expensive than Kiddyland tickets/bands and Kiddyland tickets/bands can be upgraded as well if you want to go on Big Park rides. = There is a small souvenir/gift shop at the entrance of the park that sells park branded clothes, keychains, pins, magnets, etc. = For parents, you can probably have your kids go on every ride in Kiddyland in less than 2-3 hours. = And, of course, if you're a movie buff and seen the movie, BIG, then the boardwalk will look verrrrrrry familiar because they filmed part of the movie here and this is where the Zoltar machine was located in the movie!

Went with my Dad to celebrate Father's Day!…read more We went on a Tuesday and the crowd was minimal. The place had a great atmosphere with a well laid out map plan. Everything was spread out and didn't feel on top of each other. The location was way bigger than it had appeared to be. Bathrooms were spotless. I initially had my Dad and I to do one race and an hour of axe throwing but after our race my Dad lit up. So I asked the helpful associate Angel if we can sub our axe game for another race. The manager Nicole was such a sweetheart and did it no problem. Amazing experience, 10/10 recommend. My only dilemma is for people who carry most of their height in their legs beware. The go-cart seat can only go back so much. But otherwise we had a blast.

We did two races my teenager could participate in, plus one pro race. In every race, multiple karts stopped partway through, and each time one of us was involved. I understand that issues can happen, but there was absolutely no communication from staff about what was happening or why. The worst moment was watching my child's kart stop on a hill and slide backward down the incline. The same thing had happened to me earlier, but seeing it happen to my child was far more upsetting. It felt unsafe and genuinely scary. On top of that, the whole experience caused me major anxiety. I understand the need for safety, but the silence from staff during repeated stoppages made everything worse. It felt like being stuck in a vacuum with no information, and that lack of communication added so much unnecessary stress. The axe throwing was great, but the go-karting experience left me very uncomfortable because of the safety concerns and poor communication.

The "6 and under" section is just a small area with small trampolines where the older kids can still run through. The capacity limits seem stretched - it was just very crowded and you couldn't really enjoy / savor an activity before another kid was either waiting or shoving through. Not really worth $20 - I can see how it may be more worthwhile if you had a membership, though. There's a dodgeball area, tug of war, jousting, run up/pit, trampoline area, the toddler area, some arena that wasn't being used and hanging ropes. May be better suited for older children, or just less children - definitely chaotic when we went. Could be better experience when more empty. You also need to purchase their grippy socks ($3/pair +tax). they're on the tighter side and really stick onto parts of the sidetracks (to the point the socks stay while your foot moves - not good for those with poor balance). Saving grace (extra star): all the people at the front desk were so nice and helpful. The arcade area had air hockey, racecar driving, motorcycle riding, jurassic park, a punching bag, and several claw machines. If I recall, each game was $1.50-$2/swipe for credit card. You can purchase an arcade card as well (may be cheaper). We played two rounds of Jurassic Park - sadly you pay by scene not life I was excited to see my budding video gamer kid have fun, though.
