I'm very disappointed in this place. Out by the ax throwing and we need to leave even though we probably spent three or $400. We've been here since 4:30 and now we have to leave the couch section. We have food, wine, water, champagne, but yet we have to leave. And we have to leave the couch section so people can sit and watch well they're partners throw axes. There's no sign stating that these cushion, couches and tables are reserved for ax, throwing only. It was very young teenagers in the bar. I know it's a bar restaurant, but they shouldn't been hanging out right at the bar when I told one of the young kids at the counter, he said, not my problem. The staff there is pretty much made up of young kids who didn't know how to deal with the situation so we left and went to fiddlers Green and they excepted us with open arms. The owner of the place was very nice to give us the booth and tables, nice cushions. read more

My company has been booking our corporate bowling tournament with Spins before it was even called Spins! This year I worked with Jessie to set everything up and she was able to coordinate with the restaurant and bar to make sure they would be open. When we got there she made sure to help everyone and get us bowling as quickly as possible-helping us with shoes, inputting the names/handicaps into our lanes. There was 50 of us and we were there from 7am-3pm, Jessie and everyone at the front desk worked really hard to make sure our day was filled with fun!! See you next year!! read more

No explanation of how to use the scoring system. The lady at the desk charges you per person I guess? But doesn't tell you what you just paid for. There's no buzzer or bell to find her when you need help. Facility is very clean and well maintained 3 people 1 game 30.50 with the shoes 3stars?? I was part of a 4 person team that was in a 10 week league at Spins in Carmel. Over the 10 weeks the Asst Mgr Ms Travis was exceptional! Not only was everything ready for us on Thursday eve when we arrived but there were stats on all the teams and whenever there was a question she and her staff were polite and professional. It was our first experience in a Bowling League and thanks to Ms Travis it was most memorable! She should be the Mgr as she exudes a professional yet relaxed way in dealing with patrons! Six of us older humans went Saturday late afternoon to just get out of our houses on a cold day. The young lady at the front desk, Jessie. was extremely professional and very attentive & patient..Gave us our options and did not rush even though it was busy..We bowled 3 games When we went to the bar are went to the bar/restaurant area they were out of bottled and can beers!! They had 15 beers on tap but 10 of them were empty.. When we got a pitcher of some beer we never heard of it had mold showing when the pitcher was filled. We asked why so poorly stocked and the reply was poor mgmt and that it has been this way the past 2 weeks..Not a pleasant experience in the bar! read more

Hanging out with a friend in Danbury we were in the mood to bowl so naturally I pulled up Yelp and while I did find a bowling alley slightly closer to the Danbury area this place had better reviews so we drove the extra whopping 3 miles. Haha! This place is actually really really nice inside. From the outside it's a fairly plain building but once inside it's insanely nice and I freaking love the seating by the lanes. Soft couches, so soft I nearly wanted to sprawl out instead of bowling. Yea couches were comfy. Automated scoring system was what one would expect in the 21st century, bowling animations were funny, shoes were in excellent shape and the balls available were pretty darn good in terms of hole placement. Normally I only find two balls, and no not the two between my legs (LOL), but seriously I usually find maybe two useful bowling balls if i'm lucky that fit my fingers. At Spins I was throwing almost all seven balls I found at my lane because the hole placement was nearly perfect. Staff was nice when we arrived and offered us various "specials" but since it was just the two of us we opted for the per game price and just bowled two games. Great little spot near the Danbury area. Highly recommend. I'd come on a full belly because while I did notice the bar right away I didn't notice any food options but I also didn't inquire so I'm not entirely sure if they serve actual food here and not just maybe a candy bar. read more

Will never be back at this establishment. Go into the bar to watch the ranger game, two guys behind the bar say they don't know where the remote is to change the channel, really? You don't know where the remote is but you bartend behind the bar? Okay. Then they both disappear and don't come back for at least 15 minutes. When they do appear they don't even ask us what we want for drinks and go right past us sitting there. Instead they go to the end of the bar where there is clearly a bunch of under age people drinking and start bullshitting with them. Cool. The bartenders were also pulling bud lights out of an 18 rack box just throwing beers to their friends at the bar. Not to mention out of about 13 beers on tap, all but 4 have cups over the handle indicating there out. Wow really winning here. Guess I need to be a friend of the bartenders in order to get service. Sad excuse for a place and if these are the bartenders you having running your bar on a Saturday night that even more sad. read more

I haven't been here in maybe 10 years and I went on Saturday with a friend! It was actually really great! I had no idea bowling could be so hype and fun. I loved that once about 8:15 pm hit, it was like a club! They had music playing, colorful lights flashing, and everyone there seemed really into it. Bowling was pretty cheap $25 for an hour which equaled to about 2 games! The bar area isn't great, but they do have quite a bit of options for drinks. I did dislike no one being at the bar to take orders and when I asked where I order from the lady behind the front counter just pointed to the bar where I had to wait 10/15 minutes for the guy to appear. The arcade area isn't very active after 10 pm - people were in there playing games, but most of the games were shut down or not working and no one was working the prize counter after 8:30 pm it seemed like. They had pool tables which are just about always occupied (you do have to pay to play pool.) there was also air hockey and some other stuff. The bathrooms smelled disgusting and were extremely dirty. The food wasn't that bad, but a bit pricy. Overall it was a fun place to go. read more

I wish I could say I had a better experience. When we first got there we went right over to axe throwing as we had a reservation. When we got there we had no idea how to begin our time. The Employee never approached us and it was not clearly stated anywhere what we needed to do to start. It seemed very unorganized. Touch screens were not working, the boards were in horrible shape and tv screens were not on. I Just wish there was a little more guidance by the staff on what to do. The bar was packed (it was a busy Saturday night) and they were pretty much out of all beer choices. So, you had to choose what they had left ( which was not much). Soda machines were out of ice and the soda was flat. When we finally bowled we go to our lane and it was filled with empty cans and food all over. The entire place was filthy. Garbage cans were over flowing and all table surfaces and counters covered with food or empty drinks. Hopefully, it can be improved because it could be a great place. read more

This place has recently been remodeled. It's beautiful. They updated everything, they have an eating area and a bar (I was surprised by how clean the place looked), the seating at the bowling lanes are much more spacious and comfortable (they now have cushioning instead of plastic seating!), and they added a fantastic arcade! I've come here a couple of times this past year and tonight very well might have been the last time. We walk in and head to the bar area. We waited honestly 15 min before the guy even looked our way. There were a few people there but he seemed to favor a group of people. Me and three others waited very long to order drinks. One guy kept asking for shots so the bartender dropped everything he was doing to give him them. Just not right and not how you bartend. Next when it came time to bowl, we went to pick our ball and all of them felt sticky and felt that they haven't been wiped down in ages. Totally grossed me out. Me and a few friends started a bowling league with an Org that we all on the board. We scheduled 26 Sundays to play from 12noon to 3pm The price is right, their is a bowling league person who meets us almost every time we are their and she is super nice. BUT recently, we have had 3 weeks in a row we could not play. One was weather related and two wear large groups that booked the place and closed it to us. The problem lies with the fact that no one lets us know and the group showed up to a closed building. I live local but many members live far away 30+ miles. I hope this can be fixed soon. read more
