Unfortunately, after our experience, I feel like there are several operational and safety issues that need to be addressed. About a week before our visit, I started seeing posts on social media showing extremely long lines. I initially considered booking a birthday party, but since I didn't have 10 kids, I felt like paying for a full party package would be a waste of money. Instead, a few days before our visit, I went online and made a prepaid reservation for 12:00 p.m, including spectator passes. We arrived around 11:40 a.m., which was 20 minutes before our reservation. Despite having a reservation, we did not make it to the check-in counter until approximately 12:35 p.m. What really bothered me was that when we finally checked in, our time was started based on our original 12:00 reservation time. We had paid for 120 minutes, yet through no fault of our own, we had already lost a significant portion of that time standing in their check-in line. I felt cheated out of something I had already paid for. I do want to make it clear that the employee who checked us in was nice, efficient, and patient with everyone. I had absolutely no complaint about her. In fact, throughout our visit, most of the employees we encountered were pleasant. My issue is with the overall operation, organization, and setup of the facility. The parking situation was the first indication of the problems. The parking lot does not appear large enough to accommodate the number of people this facility attracts, especially when other functions are taking place in the area. It was extremely congested just trying to get into the parking lot. The reservation system also did not make sense to me. According to the website, a reservation was required, yet when we arrived there were two lines--one for reservations and another for walk-ins. Even the reservation line was extremely long. If customers have prepaid reservations for specific times, there should be a more efficient process to get those customers checked in so they are not losing time they have already paid for. The stickers were another issue. The stickers placed on us came off extremely easily. I repeatedly had to pick them up from the floor and make sure the children still had theirs on. Those tickets are flimsy, easy to lose, and are the same type of tickets that can easily be purchased online. We were also given cards that were supposed to be stamped for each ride. However, the facility was so busy and the staff appeared so overwhelmed that our cards were not stamped most of the time. If the card is being used to control or track ride access, there needs to be a better system and enough employees to consistently enforce it. One situation in particular really bothered me. I was standing in line with the children in my group waiting for a ride when a staff member brought two people to the front and allowed them to go ahead of everyone who had been waiting. One of the children with me was even asked to get off because the seat was needed for someone else on the Grave Digger ride. When I asked what was going on, I was told they had paid for a party and had "paid a lot of money." I responded that I had spent a lot of money too. My group consisted of 8 adults, 7 children, and 2 babies under the age of 2, and by that point I had spent well over $1,000 on this birthday outing. I ultimately had my group get off the ride because I wanted them to be able to ride together. That made the situation even more disorganized because the employee then had to get my people back off, allow several other people in line to ride, and then put my group back on so they could ride together. It held everything up unnecessarily. he food and dining area were another issue. The food line seemed to be going in every direction, and there was no organized waiting area. After ordering, it took approximately 25 minutes to receive our food. At one point, the register system went down, so employees had to begin emailing receipts. People were everywhere in the dining area, and the entire setup felt chaotic and overcrowded.

We got wakeboarding passes but it was so crowded and slow moving we didn't even try. The crowds thin out after 4 so if you don't want to spend all day come after noon. 10-11am and you are waiting in line to get in even if you did the waiver in advance.

The child was clearly unable to, which was the reason the mother had asked for help in the first place. In the end, the mother had to climb into the ball pit herself to get her child. Then at the race car track, staff allowed toddlers who were below the recommended height to ride. I personally didn't think this was a major safety concern since the cars have seat belts. However, after one toddler had started riding, the staff asked the child's mother to remove them because they couldn't drive properly. I understand that other children were waiting (including mine), but if staff decide to allow younger children to participate, they should let them enjoy the full experience unless the parent chooses to end it early. The most disappointing experience happened at the Sky Rider attraction. Children under the height requirement were being allowed to ride, but when it was my son's turn, he was stopped and told he was too small. The child in front of him was visibly shorter and had already been allowed to ride several times. Naturally, my son was very upset. I spoke with the staff member to understand why the rules were applied differently. His response was that after he made the comments, he let my son ride once, but "he got sour and ran away." That comment was unnecessary and unprofessional. My son is on the spectrum, and assumptions like that can be especially hurtful. More importantly, all children should be treated fairly. Overall, the playground itself is excellent and offers plenty for kids to enjoy. My biggest concern is the lack of professionalism in some staff interactions.

We used a Groupon and had no issues redeeming when visiting on a Friday morning. We were instructed to complete the waivers at the kiosks near the entrance. We did have to purchase the mandatory socks which was $18 for three (3) pairs. Before proceeding to the play areas, we put our things in the little cubes they have for storage...i.e. shoes, bags, etc. Keep in mind these are open cubes which anyone can access. I never felt unsafe in leaving our things there...but as always, there is a risk. It was not very crowded on a Friday morning at around 10:30am (they open at 10) so it was a pleasure navigating the space with minimal crowds. There are lots of areas to enjoy for both adults and children. The main area has trampolines as well as some interactive areas where you jump to tap buttons and two video screens where you mimic the movements on screen...both area great. There are a few obstacle courses: ninja, balance beam, and swing pit. The basketball area is also great with a cushioned surface, two hoops, and targets where you can throw balls at. There are two huge slides in the center which are fun. Finally, there a "rock climbing" area with a few different climbing options. You must have the "climb" option added to your pass in order to use it though. You will be belayed during the climb. Be mindful that the gripped socks provided do NOT offer the best grip while climbing in my opinion...climbing was much more difficult that I experience in traditional rock climbing places that provide rock climbing shoes...then again, maybe it is just me. There is a food area which sells some snacks: soft drinks, chips, candy. There are also a few tables nearby where you can eat. Overall we had a great time here...the space was very clean and well-maintained. All staff we encountered were very nice. Be sure to check ahead if visiting with toddlers as there are some restrictions on which areas they are able to visit.

I arrived between 1 and 2 in the afternoon and started with Batman, which is a very fun coaster. The restraints felt extremely comfortable and secure. It can leave you a little dizzy, but it is definitely worth riding. After walking around for a bit, I made my way to Wicked Cyclone. The lines were very long, but if you come to the park often, you know which rides are worth the wait. I spent about two hours in line, and it ended up being my favorite ride of the day. Afterwards, I grabbed some ice cream near the Starbucks at the entrance. It was decent, though a bit pricey. Two cups came out to about twenty five dollars even with the season pass discount. Next, I headed to Gotham City Gauntlet and then Supergirl Sky Flyer, both of which had very short lines. After that, I rode Scream, which only had about a twenty minute wait and is another one of my favorites. I then went back toward the Batman area to ride Riddler Revenge. It does jolt your head around a bit, but it was not too bad, and the wait time was reasonable. To finish the day, I tried the new coaster Quantum Accelerator. It may not look very intense, but for a family coaster it is surprisingly good. It is very fast, has some nice airtime, and features sharp yet smooth turns that make it feel unique. Unfortunately, Superman was closed during my visit. Overall, I have been coming to this park every summer, and it remains one of the best out there, especially if you enjoy classic coasters.

come here with a PLAN! when you come here, you must budget your time, energy & wallet accordingly!…read more i came here with 3 teens, 11-15. we entered the parking at 1:50pm so i decided to skip the flash pass at $50 each, although i nearly regretted it the entire time. we were only going to be there for less than 6 hours, so i didn't think it would be worth it. it probably was, but it would be nice if they offered it for $39/pp like they used to. the walk from the furthest parking lot isn't bad if you don't have younger kids, takes 7-10 minutes, but would be a nightmare with little ones. i would have paid the $10 for a lot across the street to be closer when we left. we immediately got in line for superman, waited about 1 hour & 20 minutes in 90 degree weather. one of the kids really wanted to go on the cyborg, but we stepped in the inside room where the wait is for about 5 seconds, where it had to be 120+ degrees in there (i love saunas, just not like this) and smelled so bad of body odor that i immediately made the executive decision not to suffer for an indoor ride. they should really add ac or fans to the cyborg line. our next ride was the harley quinn which i had never been on. it was very fun, but it only makes your stomach turn once at the very top, and i probably would not wait an hour for this ride again. they kept letting flash pass people on, which is understandable, but they let them ALL on while everyone else sweated profusely in the sun for over an hour. when i was on the ride, i mentioned i was excited to finally try it, and the kid next to me said this was his third time of the day. really put a damper on the experience. after this, two of the kids went for pizza from carlini's pizza, and i got the half raspberry iced tea, half lemonade which is the best hydration in this park. the other kid ordered loaded cheese fries from the macho nacho burritos, he liked it. all of the food here, no matter where you go, is $18.99 and not justified. although, i did order a chocolate milkshake for $12 from cowabunga burger in the water park that was worth it. it is more like a frappe with how thick it is, and was the perfect treat to cool down. we visited hurricane harbor at about 4:30 for just over an hour, it was nearly impossible to find seats for myself and one teen but he ended up doing better than me in that area! the two girls went in the wave pool for awhile, then waited in the line for the tornado before being told it was down. did hurricane harbor always smell this pissy, or is it accumulated over so many years? i never remember it smelling so strong of pee, just chlorine. i used to love the water park as a kid, but based on the smell, it will remain a fond memory for me. the joker is the old mind eraser. i couldn't quite tell, until the ride where my head hit the back of the seat 3 times at the point where it slows down, to be reminded, "ahh yes, this is definitely the mind eraser, i remember this." only the mind eraser could bring back such fond memories of your brain feeling scrambled, and your head feeling a bit bruised for about 15 minutes. wicked cyclone is an older coaster made with wood & steel. it looks underwhelming but i'd argue it's one of the best rides in the park for thrill seekers. it seemed to make up for a number of disappointments on a very hot, july day, for myself and all three kids. many of the rides kept letting on all the fast passes, and letting the other line wait. wicked cyclone was the only one who allocated properly and allowed in x amount of fast passes as well as the regular line so that both lines moved. they had the nicest staff, and none of the other rides did it that way, which seemed like an oversight. six flags new england is the only real amusement park we have in new england, so rating it based on that makes the score higher, but compared to other national amusement parks, it could be better. i'd be really disappointed if it were gone. i think they can make some improvements. six flags new england holds a special place in my heart, it was one of my favorite places as a kid.

Many of the machines now seem to rely heavily on payout settings rather than consistent claw strength, making it feel like luck and persistence matter more than skill. I also noticed that a number of the prizes have shifted toward lower-value items like packaged snacks and small novelty prizes instead of the plushes and collectibles that originally drew me to play. Because of that, I found myself spending less time on the crane games than I used to. The rest of the arcade remains the strongest part of the experience. There is still an excellent selection of video games, including Japanese rhythm games, racing games, and other arcade classics that are difficult to find elsewhere. Bowling, billiards, and karaoke also provide plenty of entertainment, making it easy to spend an entire afternoon or evening here without relying on the prize machines. The facility itself is clean, well maintained, and large enough that it rarely feels cramped, even when it gets busy. Staff kept the space organized throughout my visit, and everything outside of the claw machine area felt like it was running smoothly. Overall, Round1 at Danbury Fair Mall is still a fun destination for arcade games, bowling, and group outings.
