I've always heard the food was good here. The service and food are good. Lots to choose from, plus the desserts were really good.

Love the setup of this place - each type of activity has its once space so the kids won't be able to easily wander off. The whole center is clean enough, so worry not. Our favorite activity was ballocity. It was so cool! Lots of plastic balls flying around and cannons for the kids to shoot them out of. They also got a kick out of the forced air that let the balls float. This is a great rainy day activity. read more

My only disappointment is not knowing about this place earlier!! From mini golf, small roller coaster, go carts, inflatables, arcades, and a delicious food court and bar(!) this place literally has everything! Paid $500 for a birthday party while kids was eating for less then 30mins staff suggested Lazar tag and arcade knowing most kids didn't eat yet nor have cake when we went back 20mins before party ended our food was thrown away and our cake and balloons was packed up when questioned why as our kids didn't eat and good was thrown away nor did kids eat cake. A white male in a black shirt stated we had 45mins to eat and we had our time . I stated for $500 this was unprofessional and next time we will take our buisness elsewhere especially since out food uneaten food was disposed in the garage kids starving and now they cant have cake. He told me pls go somewhere else. And called security on me then went in employee office. BEWARE GO TO ROUND 1 OR CHUCKY CHEESE ! This place was great before covid . This was definitely an impromptu trip as we were viewing a home in Goshen,NY and ran into this place. It's a bit on the pricey side. All rides are priced at a set price per person and it's loaded on to a card. No wrist bands or specials but that's okay the kids and hubby absolutely enjoyed it. My daughter and hubby enjoyed the zip line. It goes up fast but comes down slow at 30mph so they said it's not as scary as it looks. Definitely try that out for an immaculate view. We stopped inside for some Rock Climbing, arcade games and food. They have a decent menu inside with decent prices for food. Overall we had an amazing time even in the heat. read more

From bikes to trains to video games it is the best family fun in Chester next to LEGOland. If they could just moderate the mini golf so that you didn't have unruly kids behind you talking trash to move you faster and then crowds ahead of you that taunt you when you miss a putt. They also have some long lines at the slick track and should find a way to circumvent that because it is obnoxious to wait that long for go karts. I remember when the Castle first opened. It has grown immensely. They've added really great attractions and are constantly keeping it fresh. The arcade was a great addition and offers laser tag and video games. The pool tables and hardware for them need a tune up, but it captures the essence of a pool hall. All in all, you will need to take out a second mortgage to be there for a few hours but the fun factor is high and there is so much to do. If you go on a Friday or Saturday night, you have to expect to be stuck on lines and fighting crowds. I also recommend the roller rink. It's ultra hip and nostalgic. The Castle is just a really fun place to try, at least once. read more

Super fun stop along NY Rt17! We stopped here on our way "up state" and actually stayed overnight with Harvest Hosts. This was such a cool place to stretch our legs and clear our heads of the chaos that is NY traffic. The games and rides were all Ala-cart so no expensive entry fee, just pay for what you like to do which was much appreciated. The staff were super nice and friendly, and the overall condition was well kept and clean. Though we did not get to try it, they had an on-site restaurant and lots of attractions for all ages of kids Can't wait to come back! read more

I always loved coming here. I was here the other day strictly for the miniature golf. I have to say it is the best mini golf we have ever been to. I've been to the one at Jersey shore and others in Rockland County and this is by far the most fun . Totally worth $11 a person. Ok - let's talk about the 800 lb elephant in the room ... COVID! They had people at every level, every ride who were so hyper focused on cleaning / disinfecting, from the seats and steering wheels at the Go-Carts to the Joysticks and buttons at the Arcade and everything in between. Temperature checks, hand sanitizer everywhere ... they got their act together - NO WORRIES! p.s I work with the Dept of Public Health so I say this all with a healthy degree of confidence! Now the fun stuff ... all of it! OMG so glad to have them back open. Decided to have a fun day with both my kids and did #AllTheThings; Zip Line, Go-Carts, Slick Carts, Rock Wall, Lazer Tag (a few times), Lazer Maze and about $60 on Mrs.PacMan alone The cafe was the best though - the nicest people (with killer hair) and SOOOOO happy to be back open for all of us. If you can go - GO, and leave your covid concerns in the car, this place is spot on and worth the time and money if not just for the fun then for the "normal" again with the family! Kosher Consumers Beware! This place is militant about enforcing a "No Outside Food and Drink Policy" and do not offer any substantial kosher options for purchase. Your children will go hungry or you will get yelled at and kicked out to the parking lot, mid-cookie. Other than that, there lots to do here, but be prepared to spend a lot. read more

I had the pleasure of having my sons birthday yesterday at the castle fun center. We were celebrating his 10th birthday and it was the best party yet! The staff were all super attentive , the venue was clean and most importantly there was SOO much fun to be had! We rented the glow room which was SOO cool. We had about 45 people and there was still so much room in this party room. The kids did the bounce houses, arcade and laser tag. Every single guest was raving about the whole event, even the adults. OH MY the food was unbelievable. We ordered platters of mozzarella sticks, chicken tenders, French fries and boneless wings . All in all I would give this party 5 stars and more thank you castle for providing the party of my sons dreams and making it the best party yet! read more

My husband and I wanted to do axe throwing and after doing a couple google searches we found this place. It's about 45 minutes from our house and it was relatively cheap at $20 per person for an hour. The axe throwing is located in the pub area of the center, away from the children which was nice. We were able to order a few drinks and appetizers when we got there to enjoy while we threw axes. The young gentleman manning the axe throwing was so nice and showed us how to stand and throw since were beginners, it looks a lot easier than it is! There were 3 lanes and 2 other couples there throwing so we had to share a lane, this wasn't ideal since we both paid $20 for the hour. However, the kid overseeing us decided to get everyone involved and started a competition between us all. My husband rocked it! We had so much fun and will definitely do it again. read more

Last Friday, we visited the castle on the opening day of the new roller-skating rink, and it was fantastic! The atmosphere was incredible, with cool vibes and great music. We grabbed some takeout from Jesters--wings, fries, and mozzarella sticks--and brought it over to enjoy at the rink. Everything was top-notch. They're always looking for ways to improve, and it really shows. Definitely give it a try if you're nearby--it's great having a place like this so close to home! read more

A somewhat impromptu visit to this location proved to be a wise decision. On a cloudy Saturday afternoon, my partner and I easily found parking in their large lot. We weren't really sure where to go, so we took a guess and made our way inside what appeared to be the main building. There, we were able to view the "menu" of activities and put money onto a card that would be swiped at each activity. Between the two of us, it was a little over $50 for one go-kart ride, a zipline ride, and mini golf each. I think we both felt we got a bang for our buck, especially as we were zoomed backwards on their zipline. We enjoyed go-kart racing, opting for the slick track. One of the ride attendants was kind enough to store my purse off to the side while I drove. We finished out our time there with mini golf, which had 18 holes. We ended up behind another couple who was waiting for a large group (even though it's supposed to be limited) to finish out their rounds, but we skipped over them and decided to go back later. The course was fairly challenging, my ball even rolled off into the water they have throughout the area. There were some parts of the course that were a bit creepy, including some dark indoor areas, which I wasn't exactly a fan of. Overall, we had a total blast during our visit and recommend checking it out with family/friends or for date night. read more

Had a great time at the Castle with family and friends. There is plenty to do: roller rink, arcade, foam balls, mini golf, go karts, zip line, and even a restaurant and full bar for the adults that just need a breather. My 2 year old son absolutely loved the foam ball area. We tried him out on the skates, but definitely way too early (noodle legs). We've gone many times and really enjoyed the mini golf as well as the go-karts. The arcade is always awesome. With all of that said, it can be very pricey. If you spend the whole day, you'll spend just as much as you would if you bought a ticket to a big amusement park. That's the only thing preventing me giving The Castle 4 stars. Overall good fun for a weekend day out with the fam. I'd recommend it to any family, but be prepared to open your wallet. read more

I want to rate it higher...but I can't. It's an older style amusement park in Chester NY. Plenty of parking and the staff was friendly enough. My issue...it's WAY too small for the price they ask. This location is a pay per ride park. Meaning that each ride costs on average 4-8 bucks. They do it by a debit card type system and charge you 1 buck just for the card. It's small but we blew through a 40 dollar card with one kid in under 2 hrs. I wish they offered some type of pop bracelet. Unless you're in a group...they don't (20 or more). I had to pay 8 bucks to ride a zip line with my son. Bit pricey. Overall a nice place but with Legoland and great wolf coming they need to re think their price structure. read more

I had the pleasure of speaking to Adriana. She is one of the managers here, and my experience here was ten times better because of her. My family and I went here on MLK day, and I began speaking to her about birthday parties and I had a TON of questions, considering all the construction they have going on, I was concerned of what was opened/ offered for parties. She was extremely patient, and informative of what their party packages had to offer. My family and I also got some food from Jesters. (The food was great) We placed our order with her and our kids began to joke and "fool" around. She started to make jokes back, and put the brightest smile on my kids faces. Brought my son here on Sunday morning after our Legoland filled weekend and it was the perfect amount of fun to top our busy weekend. The girl that was working the bumper cars and swings yesterday was so sweet to my family and I, she was so pleasant and kind! The outdoor activities were super fun, the staff overall was great, I'd give them 10 stars! The girls by the bouncy area were kind of rude. My son wasn't of size to bounce in the larger area and they were very rude about it. Overall, if you're in the Legoland area, this is a place to check out ! Overpriced, disorganized, mess. I have thrown and attended many parties here in the past and it was always a good time. I unfortunately hosted a party there this past weekend and it was a total disaster. The "party hosts", if that's what you want to call them, were completely disorganized and unhelpful. My guests and I had to do everything for the party they did nothing. I paid for the kids to do two activities and they ran the party so late some kids had to leave before getting to do the activities. They knew how to complain about how busy they were though, they had time for that. They were rude to the children and had no idea what they were doing. When I asked for management they weren't any help. The party was so expensive and I got nothing for it. I will never go back and I strongly advise you not to book a party here unless you want a complete disaster. read more

Used to love coming here every weekend religiously to go skating with my friends a few years back. Just recently I heard that they're getting rid of the skate rink in exchange for a bouncy obstacle course or something of that note. Well I guess all good things must come to an end. However I do appreciate all the other activities they have like to go carts, minigolf, laser tag, and the arcade. I used to spend quite a bit of time in that arcade. When me and my friends had enough money we would occasionally do laser tag. The fun used to last for hours into the night. Gave us a place as teenagers to hang out on the weekends. read more

I'm shocked to find only one review for this place. It's pretty popular in the county but I guess the rest of NY has yet to get on the Yelp band wagon. This place is fairly large with most of the property used to showcase the miniature golf which I have yet to experience despite my dozen plus trips to the place. I've even gone to the New Year's Eve celebration the past three years and still haven't enjoyed the beautiful golf course they have; the travesty I know! The indoor facility has a rock climbing wall, go-karts (lawn mower powered) and laser tag all located on the lower level. On the upper level they have a very small arcade room, a cafeteria area to buy food and a fairly large roller skating rink. For the roller skating you can bring your own or rent the classic four wheeled skates from them. They always have fun events to keep people coming back but I think they should expand their arcade room. When I'm visiting the fun center with my kids you will almost always find me in the laser tag room, I love that thing. read more

Llease read me because i speak the truth...This place was amazing, my 2 year old loved the ball pit and the attendees of the ball pit made sure everyone was playing nice.. I met the owner and he was so nice. Me, my husband, and my two kids are coming back to this place every 4 day weekend now. It's only an hour and half from Brooklyn and hotel rates are great around that area. From Lazer tag, Lazer maze (that daddy sucks at hahaha), go carts, mini golf, ball play pit, arcade, and go carts there's something for everyone. Plus a bar on both levels for the parents. The only thing I would say is if they could somehow have security like chuckie cheese doe a where no one leaves without matching stamps and stuff then I would have enjoyed just a bit more but I had to constintly keep an eye on my kids, but if that's the only negative of the place then I still give it a 10 out of 10. read more

We came here recently (because we were staying at the holiday inn nearby) and it exceeded our expectations. The staff was helpful, the place is huge and the kids were so excited to be there. I wish we could have stayed longer. If you're in the area, give yourself enough time for the kids to experience a lot of the attractions. I took my family here today for the first time and I am very pleased with the games (all working) and activities. Fun for all ages which is hard to find these days. We were greeted by a great employee who lowered herself down to my sons level when he was excited and started to talk to her :) ** I would have given 5 stars except when my 5 year old son was cashing in his tickets for a prize the three adults behind the counter were laughing at him and making fun of him for his choices. Not even being subtle. I was absolutely shocked and disgusted by this. I'm not the type to call and complain or even write reviews but what kind of losers make fun of a 5 year old... and to their face? Apparently some of The Castle Fun Center staff!! It was bad enough to knock a 5+ star rating down to zero.. I imagine management will not see this or care. We were there 3-27-2021 4-7pm. Great place! Lots to do for all ages. My kids love everything they've tried. We really enjoyed the mini golf courses, the rides and the laser maze. Laser tag had a few too many guns that didn't seem to be working, which took some of the fun out of it. Other than that, we enjoy our time whenever we come! read more

Went on Saturday and they have very kind staff, the young lady working outside greeting customers was very friendly she explained all their covid restrictions and protocols and made me and my family feel very safe. My son was joking around with her as well, and to my surprise (you don't get this at many places) she made jokes with my son back insuring we had a great time at the door, when my son asked for a high five she gave him a high five and made sure her and my son put hand sanitizer on right after to insure of my sons safety and hers.
