This was definitely an impromptu trip as we were viewing a home in Goshen,NY and ran into this place. It's a bit on the pricey side. All rides are priced at a set price per person and it's loaded on to a card. No wrist bands or specials but that's okay the kids and hubby absolutely enjoyed it. My daughter and hubby enjoyed the zip line. It goes up fast but comes down slow at 30mph so they said it's not as scary as it looks. Definitely try that out for an immaculate view. We stopped inside for some Rock Climbing, arcade games and food. They have a decent menu inside with decent prices for food. Overall we had an amazing time even in the heat.

    Soooooo much Mrs.PacMan!

Ok - let's talk about the 800 lb elephant in the room ... COVID! They had people at every level, every ride who were so hyper focused on cleaning / disinfecting, from the seats and steering wheels at the Go-Carts to the Joysticks and buttons at the Arcade and everything in between. Temperature checks, hand sanitizer everywhere ... they got their act together - NO WORRIES! p.s I work with the Dept of Public Health so I say this all with a healthy degree of confidence! Now the fun stuff ... all of it! OMG so glad to have them back open. Decided to have a fun day with both my kids and did #AllTheThings; Zip Line, Go-Carts, Slick Carts, Rock Wall, Lazer Tag (a few times), Lazer Maze and about $60 on Mrs.PacMan alone The cafe was the best though - the nicest people (with killer hair) and SOOOOO happy to be back open for all of us. If you can go - GO, and leave your covid concerns in the car, this place is spot on and worth the time and money if not just for the fun then for the "normal" again with the family! Thanks everyone - can't wait to come back!

I had the pleasure of having my sons birthday yesterday at the castle fun center. We were celebrating his 10th birthday and it was the best party yet! The staff were all super attentive , the venue was clean and most importantly there was SOO much fun to be had! We rented the glow room which was SOO cool. We had about 45 people and there was still so much room in this party room. The kids did the bounce houses, arcade and laser tag. Every single guest was raving about the whole event, even the adults. OH MY the food was unbelievable. We ordered platters of mozzarella sticks, chicken tenders, French fries and boneless wings . All in all I would give this party 5 stars and more thank you castle for providing the party of my sons dreams and making it the best party yet!

    Axe throwing
    Amanda L.

My husband and I wanted to do axe throwing and after doing a couple google searches we found this place. It's about 45 minutes from our house and it was relatively cheap at $20 per person for an hour. The axe throwing is located in the pub area of the center, away from the children which was nice. We were able to order a few drinks and appetizers when we got there to enjoy while we threw axes. The young gentleman manning the axe throwing was so nice and showed us how to stand and throw since were beginners, it looks a lot easier than it is! There were 3 lanes and 2 other couples there throwing so we had to share a lane, this wasn't ideal since we both paid $20 for the hour. However, the kid overseeing us decided to get everyone involved and started a competition between us all. My husband rocked it! We had so much fun and will definitely do it again.

I've always heard the food was good here. The service and food are good. Lots to choose from, plus the desserts were really good.

The biggest challenge was the height requirements. Some of my children were under 48 inches, which meant they needed an adult to accompany them on certain rides. Since I was the only adult with three kids, it made things a bit complicated. We often had to take turns--one child would ride with me while another waited nearby, and then we would switch so everyone got a chance to ride. Despite the logistics, the kids had fun and enjoyed the attractions.

We went for 2 days and the first warning sign was at the driving school where they no longer give out paper card licenses to the children. Small thing, no big deal. but it was noted. Then we go to the coast guard academy to drive the boats and I was told that I couldn't drive my own boat b/c they prefer to keep people in groups to keep the line moving. Every paying customer should have the right to have the full experience of a ride. That shouldn't even be a conversation. And to add insult to injury, that day was gray and rainy and there were literally 20 people behind us. The dragon rollercoaster was broken for over 3 hours. Then when it was up and running, they didn't allow you to wait for the first car (something all theme parks always allow) The ninja kitchen ninja kiosk had a broken computer and they couldn't take orders. The app doesn't work unless you refresh it constantly. It tells you that "wait times are not available" and / or that you can only view live wait times when "you are at lego land". Even though you're there. This makes it nearly impossible to plan your day accordingly. But the worst part, and the reason I'm ultimately writing this review is the waterpark. They only allow you to go in for 20 minutes otherwise you have to book ahead and pay per person for a total of 50 minutes. Scam, but ok. I tried to book the water park on July 30 for July 31 - but it didn't allow me to. So at 7:30am on July 31, I went to book the waterpark for 1pm ideally but only 3pm was available. More eye rolls, but ok. The final straw is when we show up to finally have our 50 minutes of glory - we were told that they closed it and didn't know when or if it would re-open that day and that was the final straw. Add another $40 per day to park as well. Never. Again.

There were just a handful of activities they really couldn't do. That being said, I saw a bunch of toddlers who were also having a blast. The namesake slide was closed all morning, which was a bummer, but I'm also not sure my kids would have actually done it. The trampolines, acrobatic swing bar, and multi-level play structure were their favorites. I agree that some people working here were more happy to be there. The waiver is long. We used a Groupon and had no issues redeeming when visiting on a Friday morning. We were instructed to complete the waivers at the kiosks near the entrance. We did have to purchase the mandatory socks which was $18 for three (3) pairs. Before proceeding to the play areas, we put our things in the little cubes they have for storage...i.e. shoes, bags, etc. Keep in mind these are open cubes which anyone can access. I never felt unsafe in leaving our things there...but as always, there is a risk. It was not very crowded on a Friday morning at around 10:30am (they open at 10) so it was a pleasure navigating the space with minimal crowds. There are lots of areas to enjoy for both adults and children. The main area has trampolines as well as some interactive areas where you jump to tap buttons and two video screens where you mimic the movements on screen...both area great. There are a few obstacle courses: ninja, balance beam, and swing pit. The basketball area is also great with a cushioned surface, two hoops, and targets where you can throw balls at. There are two huge slides in the center which are fun. Finally, there a "rock climbing" area with a few different climbing options. You must have the "climb" option added to your pass in order to use it though. You will be belayed during the climb. Be mindful that the gripped socks provided do NOT offer the best grip while climbing in my opinion...climbing was much more difficult that I experience in traditional rock climbing places that provide rock climbing shoes...then again, maybe it is just me. There is a food area which sells some snacks: soft drinks, chips, candy. There are also a few tables nearby where you can eat. Overall we had a great time here...the space was very clean and well-maintained. All staff we encountered were very nice. Be sure to check ahead if visiting with toddlers as there are some restrictions on which areas they are able to visit.

It's definitely not my first time at American Dream, but most recently, on Saturday, August 1 and Sunday, August 2, 2026 , I visited American Dream since I was attending BTS WORLD TOUR 'ARIRANG' at MetLife Stadium. There is an enclosed pedestrian bridge that connects the mall directly to MetLife which made it very convenient to go back and forth. My first stop at American Dream was The Rink @ The Arena to pick up my pre-ordered merchandise on Weverse Shop. There were signs indicating which way to go. The process was very smooth and easy. 1 star - More Nightmare Than Dream…read more (But giving a 3 star since what was actually open was fun.) Took my daughter to American Dream Mall for her birthday weekend, expecting water slides and celebration shakes. What we got was a masterclass in disappointment. The water park was closed for electrical work. Fine -- things happen. So we headed to the shake shop to salvage the birthday with one of their fancy cake-topped frappés. Also closed. At this point the "dream" branding was starting to feel like false advertising. The hotel situation wasn't any better, not that the mall can be blamed for this. But fair warning to others who traveled as far as we did for this magical weekend. Pool closed for the entire weekend -- not for a quick cleaning, but pending state inspection results that could take "days to weeks." Called around to other hotels thinking we'd just move. Same story everywhere. Apparently post-Memorial Day weekend triggers mandatory state testing after high guest volume, and every pool in the area was in limbo. Nobody mentioned this when we booked. Back at the mall, the game room -- where the closed shake shop lives -- lost power entirely. And if that weren't enough, the fire alarm spent a good chunk of the afternoon flashing and blaring "there is a fire in the building, evacuate immediately" on repeat. Not once. Multiple times. So to recap: no water park, no birthday shake, no hotel pool, no game room, and a fire alarm that cried wolf so often we genuinely weren't sure whether to panic or just keep walking. Happy birthday, kid. At least the parking lot was open.
